Morning all,

Just a short one from me this morning to refresh the page.

There is not much news around and I have a few things to be doing, like clearing snow! Nice….

Arsene Wenger talked about three deals yesterday in his press conference.

The ‘will he, won’t he ‘ Walcott (try saying when you are tiddled) saga seems highly likely to come to and end within the next couple of days as Wenger said he was 99% sure that a deal would be signed, keeping the winger/striker/playerΒ that can’t head a ball at the club until 2016. That will be good news. Not so much because of the quality of Walcott, or lack of it as some would say but hopefully it’s theΒ beginningΒ of us showing that we can keep a player and players can be loyal. Let’s be honest, love him or hate him, if Walcott really is only about money, he could get a lot more than we are offering him elsewhere and plenty of top clubs would sign him up tomorrow.

Second up was Cavani. I was actually quite surprised as yesterday morning as we all talked about the player, I didn’t expect to hear Wenger talking about him later on in the day. But talk is as far as he will get I suspect. That isn’t a dig at the manager but reports suggest that Β any deal to land the Napoli star could amount to a staggering Β£91 million, that’s a lot of money.

I think it’s safe to say that we can forget him.

Finally, Wilfried Zaha and Wenger said:

We are looking at him, but at the moment we have not made a bid for him.

This looks like another battle between us and the Mancs as Fergie has already had an offer turned down.
That’s it for today folks, have a good one.

Stay safe on the snowy roads in the UK and keep warm…….
