Morning all.

I’m getting to the stage where I am getting sick and tired of being treated like a customer, a means to an end to generate revenue for the club and it’s owner.

When I think back at the places I have been in support of Arsenal and the time spent out of my life it’s considerable and I am merely one of a vast amount of fans who over the years have done the same and still do.

Have you wondered lately why you do it?

I say it’s that love for the club that you cannot describe, the passion that’s inside you that you cannot define and can not remove. It’s there until the day you die and you’re Arsenal, end of.

I used to plan my year around the football season, holidays, wedding invites that could or could not be accepted if they clashed with an Arsenal match. Same with birthday parties and family get together’s, sorry but if Arsenal are playing I couldn’t make it. That’s how I used to feel and as said I’m sure many fans out there are/were no different but do you feel the same?

Do you feel the club care if you turn up or not?

Do you think they care that the team getting stuffed 6-0 ruins your weekend and the following week? People laughing at your team due to an embarrassing no show and snide comments at work from people, some who don’t even like football….

Do you really think they club the manager or the owner care what we think any more just as long as we turn up and pay they happy?

Who holds the manager accountable for the teams performances?

Does anyone?

Do we have an absent owner who cares or even knows the first thing about football or the fans love and passion for the club they support, the club that’s in their bones? Of course he doesn’t, he doesn’t care, just like the board who simply do as they are told by him.

We have a board who sold their souls to the owner and have sat there telling us ever since how lucky we are and how grateful we should be because we are a club that does things the right way….

Really, so screwing the fans at every opportunity is the right way is it?

Look at the season ticket increases and the decision to charge season ticket holders for additional games…

How long before the owner starts taking money out of the club looking for a return on his investment? The board sit idly by as the team suffers with lack of investment and a manager who tries to tell us that accidents happen. Train smashes more like as we have suffered three in one season all to our biggest rivals.

Negligence or just plain incompetence?

Does the board/owner think the fans are really so stupid? Do they have zero ambition and lack of fore site to see what’s wrong? Or do they simply lack the guts to do something about what they are witnessing and simply sit behind the mantle that ‘the owner calls the shots’?

Do they honestly think that our manager, who looks a shadow of his former self, is the man to bring in new blood new ideas and a fresh approach to make us competitive again?

Why do we suffer so many injuries and reoccurring injuries resulting in the same player being out for many weeks longer than other players at other clubs? Are the back-room staff living in a cocoon of luxury and zero expectation as well?

Where does it all end?

When do the fans say enough is enough and want accountability from those in charge?

Do the board think that there are no other managers who have a vision and a passion to drive a club forward with new training ideas, new tactics and new methods of a game plan?

It seems a great excuse for others to laugh at Man Utd and say look what could happen… Well appoint the right manager and it won’t. If being scared to grow and to improve is a reason not to do something then we may as well sign Wenger up until 2032 and all go watch lawn bowls.

Something needs to change at the club from the very top and that means change all the way down. We need younger people on the board, proper footballing people who understand the fans, understand that the manager needs funds and that success breeds success and taking a risk doesn’t mean expect failure. Risk can mean reward, and it’s far better than simply stagnating!

We the fans are the club, the lifeblood of the club but it seems we are being marginalised by many within the club, they would rather worry about internet hits from the Far East or shirt sales in America. But what about the empty seats in the ground, the people who have been going for years who are paying through their teeth?

We have a manager who refuses to live in the current times and admit his deficiencies his weaknesses, yes Arsene your human so admit it and effect changes to the way things are run?

Buy the players we need for the right positions and not square pegs for round holes as has been the case for too many years now. Spend the huge amount of money we fans have put into the club and the huge commercial money and IF the owner refuses to back you in the transfer market, then have the integrity to walk away and tell the fans the truth. You earn a huge salary but has that been a pay off to keep quiet? If not then finish what you started before your empire comes crashing down. The fans are never wrong and time will tell before they start to revolt and if and when that happens, the club truly have lost all connection with the life blood of the club and getting the fans back onside will not be an easy thing.

A new owner who actually loves football, loves the club and knows the passion of the fans, a board who are proactive and not all past their sell by date having made a fortune from their shares. A board who have a plan for the club for the next 10-15 years and who have the drive to implement the plan.

Lastly, a new manager with drive and new ideas to bring in new people all through the club and if Wenger can change and admits he has to do things differently then maybe he is still the man for a few years but in my opinion he is still stuck in his heyday.

Arsene Wenger has been brilliant for the club and I respect that but we play in the present and not on paper or on the sick bed.

We play on the pitch in 2014 and he needs to embrace that, realise that and move forward.
