Wenger, Kroenke & Board have Zero respect for fans.

Morning all.

I’m getting to the stage where I am getting sick and tired of being treated like a customer, a means to an end to generate revenue for the club and it’s owner.

When I think back at the places I have been in support of Arsenal and the time spent out of my life it’s considerable and I am merely one of a vast amount of fans who over the years have done the same and still do.

Have you wondered lately why you do it?

I say it’s that love for the club that you cannot describe, the passion that’s inside you that you cannot define and can not remove. It’s there until the day you die and you’re Arsenal, end of.

I used to plan my year around the football season, holidays, wedding invites that could or could not be accepted if they clashed with an Arsenal match. Same with birthday parties and family get together’s, sorry but if Arsenal are playing I couldn’t make it. That’s how I used to feel and as said I’m sure many fans out there are/were no different but do you feel the same?

Do you feel the club care if you turn up or not?

Do you think they care that the team getting stuffed 6-0 ruins your weekend and the following week? People laughing at your team due to an embarrassing no show and snide comments at work from people, some who don’t even like football….

Do you really think they club the manager or the owner care what we think any more just as long as we turn up and pay they happy?

Who holds the manager accountable for the teams performances?

Does anyone?

Do we have an absent owner who cares or even knows the first thing about football or the fans love and passion for the club they support, the club that’s in their bones? Of course he doesn’t, he doesn’t care, just like the board who simply do as they are told by him.

We have a board who sold their souls to the owner and have sat there telling us ever since how lucky we are and how grateful we should be because we are a club that does things the right way….

Really, so screwing the fans at every opportunity is the right way is it?

Look at the season ticket increases and the decision to charge season ticket holders for additional games…

How long before the owner starts taking money out of the club looking for a return on his investment? The board sit idly by as the team suffers with lack of investment and a manager who tries to tell us that accidents happen. Train smashes more like as we have suffered three in one season all to our biggest rivals.

Negligence or just plain incompetence?

Does the board/owner think the fans are really so stupid? Do they have zero ambition and lack of fore site to see what’s wrong? Or do they simply lack the guts to do something about what they are witnessing and simply sit behind the mantle that ‘the owner calls the shots’?

Do they honestly think that our manager, who looks a shadow of his former self, is the man to bring in new blood new ideas and a fresh approach to make us competitive again?

Why do we suffer so many injuries and reoccurring injuries resulting in the same player being out for many weeks longer than other players at other clubs? Are the back-room staff living in a cocoon of luxury and zero expectation as well?

Where does it all end?

When do the fans say enough is enough and want accountability from those in charge?

Do the board think that there are no other managers who have a vision and a passion to drive a club forward with new training ideas, new tactics and new methods of a game plan?

It seems a great excuse for others to laugh at Man Utd and say look what could happen… Well appoint the right manager and it won’t. If being scared to grow and to improve is a reason not to do something then we may as well sign Wenger up until 2032 and all go watch lawn bowls.

Something needs to change at the club from the very top and that means change all the way down. We need younger people on the board, proper footballing people who understand the fans, understand that the manager needs funds and that success breeds success and taking a risk doesn’t mean expect failure. Risk can mean reward, and it’s far better than simply stagnating!

We the fans are the club, the lifeblood of the club but it seems we are being marginalised by many within the club, they would rather worry about internet hits from the Far East or shirt sales in America. But what about the empty seats in the ground, the people who have been going for years who are paying through their teeth?

We have a manager who refuses to live in the current times and admit his deficiencies his weaknesses, yes Arsene your human so admit it and effect changes to the way things are run?

Buy the players we need for the right positions and not square pegs for round holes as has been the case for too many years now. Spend the huge amount of money we fans have put into the club and the huge commercial money and IF the owner refuses to back you in the transfer market, then have the integrity to walk away and tell the fans the truth. You earn a huge salary but has that been a pay off to keep quiet? If not then finish what you started before your empire comes crashing down. The fans are never wrong and time will tell before they start to revolt and if and when that happens, the club truly have lost all connection with the life blood of the club and getting the fans back onside will not be an easy thing.

A new owner who actually loves football, loves the club and knows the passion of the fans, a board who are proactive and not all past their sell by date having made a fortune from their shares. A board who have a plan for the club for the next 10-15 years and who have the drive to implement the plan.

Lastly, a new manager with drive and new ideas to bring in new people all through the club and if Wenger can change and admits he has to do things differently then maybe he is still the man for a few years but in my opinion he is still stuck in his heyday.

Arsene Wenger has been brilliant for the club and I respect that but we play in the present and not on paper or on the sick bed.

We play on the pitch in 2014 and he needs to embrace that, realise that and move forward.

    Morning everybody.
A good, passionate article. I agree with all except the bit about being treated as a customer. We are not being treated as customers. A customer given the current level of service would simply walk away and shop somewhere else.
We are treated as fans. They know that we will take a lot, a hell of a lot, of bad service because we are fans. It’s that passion thoughout the article that proves this. We all will have our “straw and camel’s back” point but it is way further down the road for a fan than it is for a customer. They are much more fickle.

  2. Wolfgang says:

For the last 6 years, god knows how many, the gunners have choked at the finishing line. Any manager worth his salt/money would have taken action to stop sich thing after the first three choke points. That it has continued when thi s season promised so much is really irresponsible.
I don’t have any more faith in the fm and so do many other fans. If the gunners can’t get cl spot despite winning, the cup he shd be off asp.
Btw,don’t think winning the cup is a given. Wigan will go all out to unsettle the gunners. It might even take a replay ,assuming there is one.

  3. potter says:

What was his latest remark ?

Fans that have not got 30 years of management experience have opinions , I have to respect that.

    You what ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. lule yusuf says:

good morning/afternoon/evening ladies and gentlemen. I agree with the article mate. you made some valid points. if we get the long overdue reaction from the management, then Jose would have done us a huge favour by not going easy on the score of 6-0. he would have driven the point home. I am tempted to wish for another thrushing by city, if only to show Arsene that he, above all, needs to change. if he decides to quit however, then the FA cup is the least he deserves, but will this squad fight for him?????

  5. Steve says:

I feel so angry just now I’d accept relegation if it meant the back of Wenger and Kroenke.

Agree with you Billboy. Here in rip-off Britain we should be used to the incompetence and dishonesty of the corporate gravy train, but unlike the customers of Talk Talk or NPower we don’t even have the pretence of a market choice.

    Morning All

Morning Mr Wath/Adam/Scott/Rocky/Lee/&Rico, where ever you are. 😉

Had a very interesting, engaging & intelligent conversation with the No.42 bus driver last night.
    Haven’t a clue what we talked about…

Great evening starting at Bishopsgate & finished at Aldgate, with Whitechapel sandwiched in between…

  7. stevepalmer1 says:

    Morning all,
A very passionate post by an ardent supporter, Yes a lot of what you write seems very true, Years of support from not just you but by the many, and no doubt many feel the same way as you.

Arsenal change from the top to the bottom, well thats where i see problems. We are owned by an American that has many goals in many sports, He brought a football club as an investment and has seen his investment grow, he is not a lifetime supporter of Arsenal he probably knows very little about English football at all but he knows that his investment will make money.

Now i assume when you say change, you mean an owner who is prepared to invest his wealth into the football side of things, Perhaps an Usmanov that is gagging at the bit apparently to pour his billions into Arsenal. Usmanov has billiond more than Kroenke will ever have, if he’s gagging that much why doesn’t he offer Kroenke an offer he cannot refuse aftyer all Usmanov must be a lifetime supporter.

I can see supporters anguish, I’m not daft, a man that has pledge his alleigence to a football club all his life will want his team at the top of the stack, but having said that, when the same man goes to his favourite nightclub and they have changed the DJ and the brewery and you don’t like either why stay there and moan go somewhere else.

Arsenal Football club is no different than a nightclub, they put on the entertainment and people attend if you don’t like what you see you leave and your seat will be given to the next punter.

Even people that don’t like football would not stand for bad music and bad beer they would go to another place. Kroenke’s little earner is all he wants he holds the purse strings and Arsenal board do his bidding, You want change and maybe your right i too am Arsenal through and through but i can not see Kronke change, Wenger won’t change untill the purse strings are released.

Arsenal football club is ticking over very well, It improves every year and as our debts reduce i imagine that the money may start dripping through, I don’t see an Arab Or a Russian rushing in to be our saviour, we will have to wait, and it could be for quite a while and at my age i may never see it. Pressurise Kroenke as much as you like, but at the moment he holds the key, Yes your season ticket will go up in price but if you don’t want it, while others are prepared to pay the price Kroenke will just carry on.

  8. Steve says:

    Re: Paul Scholes.

You may have noticed by now that Wenger never ever replies to criticism. He always responds by rubbishing the person who voices the criticism. At heart he’s a politician.

  9. Philbet says:

You are at a low point just like you have been last season and the season before that and quite a few before them, If you are only in the game for success, then you must indeed walk away,if you can take the highs and lows, maybe like before you can remain optimistic and stay, who knows but the choice is indeed yours,
Life like supporting The Arsenal, has its ups and downs but always remember, The worst type of person to be is the one who complains about everything and appreciates nothing.!!!
    Good luck in your choice.

  10. potter says:

Philbet :- Before being so moralistic , please give a little information as to where you stand on the subject and your experiences. Then we can discuss.

  11. Steve says:

    stevepalmer,

I have never called for the club to be owned by some billionaire willing to pump his fortune into the club and buy us success. I believe that one man having such wealth is an obscenity and I believe that the success that such wealth buys on a football pitch is pretty meaningless.

My beef with Kroenke is that he has no interest in football or for that matter any other sport. His priorities, his ambitions are purely financial. He doesn’t care what happens to Arsenal on the pitch (or any of his other clubs) as long as the value of his shareholding is maintained. If the Board of Arsenal Football Club had scoured the world they would have found it hard to find a less worthy owner.

Also I get self-sufficiency. It has worked. We are on a sound financial footing and we have plenty of spare cash. But I don’t think that the incompetence, negligence or arrogance of Wenger 2014 is the right model to take us forward and enjoy whatever success we’ve earned.

  12. Steve says:

    Philbert,

What happened at Chelsea wasn’t an accident. It wasn’t karma or fate or chance. It was the result of not buying the right players, not playing them in the right positions, not coaching them properly, not getting them physically fit or preparing them mentally or tactically for an important match. Not looking at the opposition…..blimey this is a long list !

All true fans don’t criticise a lack of ability, but we do hate a lack of effort, especially from some-one who is being paid £8m a year.

  13. stevepalmer1 says:

Steve, Good points mate, You seem to have the same thoughts as i have about how a club should be run, but where we differ is that you believe the hype that we are sitting on a fortune and not spending because of the Managers incompetance, where i just don’t think the money is there. Either one of us could be right so i wouldn’t criticise your view, all i would say Is why would a Manager sell his best players and take on loaners when he could just buy Marquee players to boost his squad. After all if that is what is happening maybe your right.

  14. goonster says:

Morning all….wenger is a prick. Kroenke an American fool am not surprised we re being taking for a couple of mugs. I hate them both. Wenger out and take Kroenke with you.

  15. stevepalmer1 says:

Mind you Steve, if your true to your views about obcenities, and trophies won this way is not worth a light, you must be delighted with our 4th position and our semi final place.

  16. Adam says:

Wath. Nice post mate but I fear it may fall on stoney ground as some just cannot accept that there is anything wrong at Arsenal at all and others that we should become automatons and blindly accept the status quo and hold no opinion whatsoever as to do so is somehow anti-Arsenal.
Even if you put aside what you believe and take a hard look at the facts you will see the size of the cash reserves.
To listen to some you might even think that we should be grateful and if we are not then we should cease our support immediately. But the last thing you will hear from these people is a reasoned argument that supports their position.
You won’t hear one either but you will hear a load of reactionary drivel about real supporters, no money, hands tied, be careful what you wish for etc..etc.

  17. Scott from Oz says:

Steve, a lack of effort from Wenger?
That is one thing no fair minded person would ever accuse the man of, so rant away but do not make things up, especially when there are enough genuine issues you can take him to task over.

  18. Steve says:

    Stevepalmer

    ouch !!!! lol

No mate I’m never happy with fourth when we could have done better. That’s why I have a very secret admiration for the way Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers have gone about their season. The problem with Arsenal is they aim for fourth instead of first.

The point I made about rich men applied to the world in general of which football is only a very very small part. I was born in the fifties and the world I grew up in wasn’t better than now but it did seem fairer.

  19. stevepalmer1 says:

    Good comment Adam,
As your now aware, you know i didn’t agree with your post yesterday. You write posts that many would say is top proffessional standard, You know your words and you use them to describe exactly what you mean i envy that ability.

Where we differ is our views on almost everything but i do respect your views and of course you believe in your Posts. The heading at the top of the post which reads Where its ok to dissagree always is in my mind and although i may criticise your views that is never a slight on you.

I understand where you are coming from and i share your anger, you have spent much more than i have over the years to watch the club of your choice, and i respect you for it. I wouldn’t knowingly ever slag you off, as a writing challenge would be like Arsenal against City, but we see things differently but we are able to comunicate,

I dont for one minute believe that anything i say would affect you at all, you have your view and i mine.

  20. Scott from Oz says:

Kev, I just had a chuckle.
A mate messaged me a few hours back asking would I get him a shirt for him with Diaby on it, I kid you not lol

  21. BrainwashedKev says:

Scott, Diaby is due back for training on April 1st… April Fool’s Day…

    That’s not a wind-up, Wenger confirmed the date…

So, give him 2 or 3 weeks to get up to speed for a game, that means that he should be fit for maybe our last three league games.
And as he is Arsene’s adopted son, he’ll probably take a spot in the Cup Final squad, if we get there….

Just in time for the World Cup….

Wonder if the FFF would give us some dough towards his medical bills???? 🙁

  22. Adam says:

SP. My posts are really only meant to stimulate debate. Airing the same views or opinions every day is just not sustainable in my opinion.

  23. rockyrocastle07 says:

I love it when people tell you to start supporting another team if you don’t like the miserably 9 year barren spell we are currently in! I don’t know why I never thought of that?

  24. rockyrocastle07 says:

Lee / Kev / Adam / Scott – top night last night, cheers. Painful getting up this morning…. Has anyone heard from Lee? I’d not be shocked if he just sleep at his desk last night!!

  25. rockyrocastle07 says:

Really good night mate. Looking forward to the next one. Would defo go to that restaurant again… Even if they did stiff us for the saag aloo that we ordered!

  26. rockyrocastle07 says:

I know!! There was a red hot chicken dish that was a bit cheeky, lamb and spinach and 2 others of meat of dubious origin… but fuck all in the way of any veg, which we clearly ordered!! Still, at about £15 a head for what we DID get, I won’t complain too much…

  27. rockyrocastle07 says:

It was a meat sensation Adam, that’s for sure….

Potter – and an amazing ruby it was too. I don’t think much work has been done by any of us today to be honest. Shattered beyond belief

  28. rockyrocastle07 says:

Guessing you didn’t email him a barrage of foul language then wath…. Sure his email Nazi’s would have been all over that like mine were! You should wash your mouth out!

  29. Wath says:

No Adam just have a few mates that love the place…!

Rocky ur such an end, what language..? You started it…!

  30. Wath says:

How can you be shattered Rocky you big tart you were all home by 12… Proper geezers would of been on it til the early hours…!

  31. Adam says:

Wath. In that case I shall go next week and report back. I usually go to Pat Pong in Chingford. Great Thai food about 15 mins drive away.

  32. rico says:

    Afternoon folks…

Great post Wath.. By the way, lawn bowling?? I’m far too young for that but I get your point…

Usmanov for starters would do me!

  33. rockyrocastle07 says:

Yeah but you’re a proper fridge wath…. you’re hardcore. Delicate wallflowers like myself need sleep!!

And you know exactly what language!! The word we can’t say on here!!

  34. Wath says:

Rico don’t listen to the petal, good to have you back boss now I can return to the shadows again…!

Lee is hardcore mate I am merely his apprentice.
Still don’t know what your on about… Ah.. Crap…!

  35. Adam says:

She did thank you Rico. We’ve had some fun on here and of course the HH CC convened last night with Scott and Mick from Oz.

  36. rico says:

Weymouth Rocky, but I wouldn’t recommend it, well other than to someone I don’t like…. lol

Has Wath been picking on you, he’s a cruel man at times eh….

  37. rico says:

Good to hear Adam. I heard you all had a lovely evening, in fact I could hear you all from here… lol

  38. Wath says:

If ur away Rico so am I, away with the fairies… Where’s Micko when you need a bit of the dust sprinkling…..

  39. rico says:

Awful Rocky! And have made my feeling quite clear to the company I booked through. Will be interesting to see what they have to say….

Wath, you been naughty in my absence?? lol

  40. rico says:

Not really Wath, but seeing as AW has been on vacation since Christmas, I think we all should be…..

  41. Wath says:

Hold off to get the violin out for petal and to serenade his sensitivity away…. Next it’ll be can I make tea n cookies for him

  42. Wath says:

He was on the pitch Rico, apparently some Aussie fella said he was gonna run on and he could of been better than half of them running about, Scott his name was but Kev got him a bit mangled by all accounts so he could not climb the barrier

  43. rockyrocastle07 says:

what was so bad with it Rico?? I heard it was quite nice down there. If somewhat backwards….

  44. rico says:

Probably because women get it right Wath and tea and cookies are worth eating/drinking. Leave it to the men and all you get is ditch-water and a burnt offering at best……. 😉

  45. rico says:

Rocky, I may just offend the population of Weymouth if they are reading…. lol

But, the place we stayed in was a dump, nothing like what was shown on the internet……

  46. rockyrocastle07 says:

No wath, I was referring to you in that way… Rico knows I’d never aim something like that in her direction…

  47. Wath says:

Always new you were a proper country pumpkin Rico so expect your cookies are spot on, my tea is never washy washy I add whiskey…!

  48. rockyrocastle07 says:

what, pear and granola muffins?! No chance mate… Too sophisticated for a do-as-you-likey

  49. rockyrocastle07 says:

and tomato/aubergine/pepper/chili chutney? Its legendary. Also the plum jelly I make for cheese… Nothing pikey about that sonshine!

  50. rico says:

Adam, do you think we should ask Carol Vorderman to fly her plane over the top with a banner of HH choice??

  51. rico says:

Love chilli Rocky, thanks in advance and I honestly look forward to trying that with some nice cheese and biscuits…

  52. Adam says:

Rico. Anything to do with the divine Carol I am up for. Though I am currently enamoured with the pics of Lauren Goodger in her catsuit in the Daily Mail. Terrifying.

  53. potter says:

Back to Kallstrom , hard to say in 16 minutes ,, he looked to have a bit of power about him with vision too. Having said that perhaps if the three coupled with Arteta and Flamini could interchange a bit it might work.

  54. rico says:

Apparently the banner is flying over OT tomorrow Adam, and that’s after such a short period of time…

How long have we had all this crap?

  55. rico says:

Thanks Potter, wonder if he’ll start tomorrow..

Bit of ‘fresh air’ in the starting 11 could be just what is required…

  56. rico says:

I missed that Adam, but I can see why Fergie is getting some blame. He truly dropped them in it on more than one account…

  57. Adam says:

Still, I am looking forward to a new set of tactics and tons of intent tomorrow as we hammer Man City. (He said with tears of irony streaking down his cheeks).

  58. rico says:

I suspect they’ll be laughing on the coach to London Adam..

Hi Kev, looked like you were enjoying your Peroni’s 😉

  59. Micko says:

Another good’un wath, planning ya year around Arsenal, we’ve all been there, bought the t-shirt !
Have to disagree Adam, think Arteta and Kallstrom’s pace will frighten them to death tomorrow.
    Welcome back rico !
Scott re the Diaby top, don’t bother, you just know somethings gonna fall off it before you get back home.

  60. Wath says:

Micko where’s my fairy dust….. Exactly mate plan the year nothing else mattered and then a few decades down the line we left with this…… I have a mate who went home and away every league game for over 20yrs only missed an away European trip due to being rushed into hospital (bit to a lame excuse I thought) now only goes home games and has got to the point where doesn’t even watch us if we on the box…. Says why bother we just left disappointed by a club so totally oblivious to the needs and aspirations of the fans that we are merely an after thought. how sad is that and am sure many of us can relate to that.

  61. Wath says:

Micko, the days off the unpaid leave the dodgy sick days all to follow the Arsenal over land and sea and of course Leicester…!

You felt part of something you felt a connection but I don’t feel that any more, can’t relate to the players at all and the excuses just make it worse when we fail to turn up. It’s my team til death do us part and it hurts to see us stagnate and have a board that’s so happy with mediocrity yet I will always support and follow would they if the boot was on the other foot ?

  62. potter says:

It’s not the same as it was but then very little is . I still get the buzz when I see the pitch especially night games but that might be because I don’t see too many of them nowadays ,but even my son tells me that the “”Matchday “”experience is not as good for him either.

  63. rico says:

I have never lived the life of putting Arsenal before work or family during my early years but that’s purely because I wasn’t born or lived in London.

I grew into Arsenal rather than being born with Arsenal through my veins and that escalated in 1971….

However, that skipping work and lunch/dinner/weddings etc etc happened, albeit later in life and even though it’s short lived in comparison to so many others here, I bloody hurt right now when it comes to what is going on at Arsenal right now…

Goodness only knows how you guys who have been ‘Arsenal’ since birth feel and tbh, I can only guess and it must be awful…..

Which is why I really don’t understand how so many fans believe that where we are right now, the football we play and all that is going on at the club is acceptable because we aren’t in debt and we get top 4 each season…

    I don’t get it for one minute…..

  64. Wath says:

It’s sterile and watered down Potter, it’s how they want it…. The atmosphere would be ten times better if the Gestapo stewards just let people enjoy themselves get involves and show the passion they have for the team. The stewards are a huge problem

  65. Wath says:

Top four is where the board set the bar at Rico and that’s why there is no ambition at the club. When it’s ok to finish 4th how can you expect to have a team that fights for trophies when it’s acceptable to be ok and not win things…….?

  66. rico says:

I get that Wath, but what I don’t understand is how so many fans see that their aim is acceptable…

  67. potter says:

I don’t have a problem with the regular ones at my block but if we get a replacement it’s a nightmare. Despite having a position ,I refuse to call it a seat , 2 rows from the back we are continually told to sit by the non regulars , the usual suspects are alright but it’s not the way it was.

  68. potter says:

Too many are brainwashed by the propaganda machine. If you keep telling people the same story eventually they believe it to be fact . They need to separate the running of the club from the running of the team . The powers seem to have got the club running to their plan but you have to question their ambition for the team. It seems to me that they will not jeopardise their bank balance for the well being of the team.

  69. Wath says:

That’s the problem Rico lower the expectation level pretty soon ur believe what your fed and also think 4th is a trophy despite the millions in the bank unspent that still people make excuses for even though it’s there in black n white on the financials

  70. rico says:

But Wath, why do some accept that yet others don’t?

Arsenal can feed us spin and bollox all they like, but I don’t believe any of it because facts are facts about the money we have and the we play is quite clear to see….

  71. potter says:

Some accept it because they see it as a brave victory achieved against all odds . The rest of us worked out long ago that coming 4th means you lost to three others.

  72. rico says:

I’m also off, Friday night is Stella night and no, I don’t mean the beer, I mean the television programme…

    Night all….

  73. BrainwashedKev says:

    My team for tomorrow:-

    Fabianski, Sagna, Gibbs, Vermaelen, BFG,
    Arteta, Flamini, Kallstrom,
    AOC, Podolski, Sanogo…

    Night All…

  74. Wath says:

    Mornin Scott,

Hope you wearing your lucky Arsenal boxers n socks…!
We gonna need all the help we can get.

  75. Scott from Oz says:

Wath, what I have done is sacked my Dreamcast kit with Dennis on it.
5 games I have worn it for and yet to win lol

  76. Wath says:

Am I really seeing correctly and hearing right….. Wingers says only Livpoo really beat us the chavs n Citeh results we were as good as them…?
We were defensively poor at Citeh and had crap decisions go against us but they were better than us for sure and as for last week is he totally mental?
We were as good as the chavs….. Really, that’s why they were 3 up in 15 mins… I despair when he talks such utter bollox I really do.

  77. rico says:

You are as bad as Wenger Scott, why wait for 5 games, it should have been off after the first loss! 😉

  78. rico says:

Totally agree, and if he truly believes what he spouts, he really has to go because every one can see that we are miles off from being as good as any side above and slightly below us in the league…

No pace, no power, no width and no guts!!

  79. BrainwashedKev says:

    Morning Rico/Wath/Scott…

Today really is the Last Chance Saloon…

He needs to pick a team that’s prepared to slug it out…

If he doesn’t, then he really is losing his marbles…

  80. Wath says:

Rico we don’t need carragher to tell us do we, we been saying it for 4/5 years…! A pundit says it so it must be true, fans say it and what do we know..?
The condescending manner in which Wenger deals with criticism highlights his faults, to say he has been in the game 30 years and state how many games as manager insults fans who have watched the club a bloody lot longer than him and watched way more games…. As a manager no but does it mean they are stupid and not able to criticize what they see going on before their very eyes..?
Fits in with his egotistical stubborn characteristics….

  81. Scott from Oz says:

Would you start Kim to give us a bit of strength on the middle?
No way he can be match fit… Well, for 90 minutes.

  82. Wath says:

Scott, top man mate I love it, if only the team plays with half of that mans passion for our club……

Mornin Kev, lucky spandex n Scott wearing Rocky shirt, it ain’t all over yet then….

  83. Wath says:

I’d play Gnabry n Ox on the wings Rosicky in the middle with Kim n Arteta or Flamster, prob Flam n Kim for me

  84. BrainwashedKev says:

Wath, Wenger is just a patsy for Kroenke…

I have never trusted that man, and I never will.
I don’t believe that he is the slightest bit interested in the club, beyond it’s profitability.
We are a cash cow and when he thinks he can get away with it, he will plunder the cash reserves in the clubs’ account…

His association with the club has not benefitted us one iota.
Even though Adam has an insanely high regard for his son Josh.

  85. bradster says:

    Morning all,
So, we’re hoping for 3 miracles?
    1) palace to win at home
    2) totenham to win/draw at Anfield
    3) us to beat City

  86. Adam says:

Morning Rico and all. You know, I think we’ll win by three clear goals today.

    I’ll get my coat…..

  87. Wath says:

Kev, not so sure Wenger the patsy, if he is don’t that make it worse…? Knows exactly what’s going on and goes along with it..?

  88. Adam says:

Wath. Point taken. I am a simple man but things don’t add up to me. Or rather they do and if I am right I don’t like what I am seeing. But hey, I’m just a revenue stream.
