Walcott's future sorted? Is Wenger about to say goodbye to true Gunner?

Morning Gooners

During the last summer transfer window, Arsene Wenger sold off one of many Arsenal fans favourite Henri Lansbury, a player who many described as being the modern-day Ray Parlour. A player who bled Arsenal blood, one who would possibly have fought harder for a result than some we have seen this season. It wasn’t to be for him and it still pains me today.

It seems that this month could see a few players exit and speculation is inevitable about the future of our young midfielder who has returned early from his loan spell at Charlton, Emmanuel Frimpong!

This is the player who looks at the fixture calendar like a fan, the first one he wants to find is the NLD, and that’s because that fixture matters, the results after those fixtures matter, beating Tottenham is the result in his mind, nothing more, nothing less.

A few months ago, he tweeted:

Defining week ahead☺☺

He was of course referring to the NLD…..

Just like Lansbury, Frimpong hasn’t really had a chance to show what he can do for us. During the last Emirates Cup, he was one of our better players, he really was solid and most thought that was going to be the start of his breakthrough into the first team. Sadly, injuries have since hit him hard and he’s only just really fit again having been out for a similar time as Wilshere.

I’m not suggesting Frimpong is ‘another’ Jack Wilshere, how can he be, there is only one Jack but  surely this guy needs to be given a chance before he is cast aside like he means nothing to Arsenal. As said earlier,  he has returned after what was reported to be an unsuccessful loan at Charlton but something makes me wonder if has he returned for footballing reasons or ‘ for sale’ reasons.

Wenger has confirmed that a few players will be leaving this month, will he be one of them?

Finally, if I am not mistaken, Arsene Wenger said in his interview yesterday something along the lines of Theo’s deal ‘was’ never about the money which to me suggests that something is pretty much sorted out.

Which way it’s sorted though remains to be seen…..

That’s it for another day, have a good one……

Of Walcott – I’ll believe it when the ink is dry!
It was only a bit about money, there is far more to his re-commitment than cash, though what it’s all about is a matter for speculation.
Is it the “direction of the club”? Is it his lack of playing time? Is it his “ability”? If it were anything simple he would have signed or not signed months ago, so what and why has there been such a delay?

Liverpool have gone for Sturridge (smart Move) Ba gone to Chelsea, Walcott is stuffed. What he needs now is someone to get his consistency right, he’s all over the place and always has been and contrary to daddy Arsene’s opinion the guy is no kid anymore. I am so over these transfer windows and Wenger’s bulls**t i must be honest.

Absolute joke Rico, he must think we as fans walk round with our heads up our own bums… I know some do but really his comments are pathetic. He has the cheek to mention Messi after signing so many shit players the last few years. Then we wonder why fans get annoyed and make rude comments about him.

his arrogance is clear again, really don’t like him at all. Really needs a month or two with Fergie and so does many of his lame ass players to show them what real desire for trophies and success costs and is really all about. So many over paid for what they are, starting at the top. The whole window has put me in a bad mood already as does 99% of Wenger’s transfer windows.

not sure i should share this hopefully he’s not looking but i was told yesterday we have a player who’s club does not want to sell however he has a 14.4m release clause so what do we do?? Offer 11.2m FFS what is wrong with this lot!!!!!
