Wellington getting the boot…?

We’ve now seen the squad thats been named for the tour to Singapore and there are a few names missing that will raise an eyebrow…!

I would of thought after a long loan spell that Wellington Silva finally joining the side would of mean’t Arsene would want a good long look at him but seems he not is the squad to travel. Maybe he has been lined up for a loan spell in England. Isaac Hayden is another missing from the squad again maybe he is lined up for a season long loan but otherwise it would seem that Arsene doesnt see him as part of the 1st team squad.

We normally say the pre-season tour gives us an idea of the youngsters that Arsene rates and Dan Crowley, Jeff Adelaide and Chris Willock will all hope to shine along with Chuba Akpom who I think has a big opportunity to throw down a marker especially with Danny Welbeck still recovering from a knock.

It will be interesting to see the younger players alongside the regualrs and to see who impresses or who fails to show the necessary skill to step up when needed. It’s not just about the ability its about being able to show the talent on the bigger stage and to be able to make a mark when playing against seasoned pro’s and experienced players. Attitude and mental strength are a prerequisite and am sure Arsene will be looking at how the young players conduct themselves as he does love a bit of mental strength……

A lot of social media hot air yesterday with several sources saying Arsenal are close to a huge signing, not sure if thats giant haystacks huge or a world class player but as yet nothing has happened so I’ll hang tight until we announce the signing of Messi.

Enjoy your day.

Wellington! Boot! I like what youve done there πŸ™‚
Slow news days lately… bring on the football and signings!

How sad to see Wellington Silva not getting a chance. Give the lad his opportunity. What is happening to Wenger? He’s leaving it late again. He’s with the team in Asia so he cannot personally oversee any transfers. This dithering and lack of certainty makes me feel that we will NOT be putting up a league challenge. I really hope I will be proved wrong, but I worry that the Special One is right when he calls Wenger a “success at failure”. Without some quality coming into the team there is no way we can challenge for the Premier or Champions Leagues.

Hi Roger, yep slow old day yet again on the footie front…. The gossip columns are yet again filled with drivel and make believe and yet again we are buying Higuain…. Then tomorrow Benzema will be flavour of the day again…. Wonder when it will be Darren Bent…..

  4. Wath says:

Hope nobody gives you the boot Mark…. πŸ™‚

Sean, Bit early yet to say we dithering, plenty time yet and most players only just returning to training. Think you’ll find Arsene don’t need to be around to complete a signing thats Gazidis department. I do wonder what he has planned for Silva though, maybe he being left at home for extra training or just to let him settle properly but hope the lad does at least get a chance to show us if he any good.

  5. goonster says:

Morning, good luck to the lads on the Singapore tour, I personally hope Zelalam steps up this season, he has not had much first team chances, let,s hope that changes. I suppose a lot of the talk on the Arsenal,s blog sites today will be about who this mystery “signing of the season could be” Muzzi Ozcan has certainly got fans excited, but lets not get too carried away.

  8. Wath says:

All this twitter stuff form all these so called ITK experts makes me laugh… It’s who can reel in the biggest fish I reckon….

    As Kev would say… Bender………

  9. Wath says:

  10. allezkev says:

You make a good point Stan…

Watch often has a tendency to be a little outside himself…. lol

  11. tsgh says:

The new crop of youngster are not as ‘electrifying’ as the previous bunch.

Wellie had a very decent season in La liga last season. He now has an EU passport… maybe time to cash in AW maybe thinking…

Hey Red-neck goonie leave Wath alone… he is doing his best. It takes a lot for a man half comatosed with GG to write such a post. πŸ™‚

  12. allezkev says:

Hey Wath, that’s actually a very good point, re: Welbeck.

He’s had a knee problem for awhile now, so as with Bellerin and Coquelin progressing due to injuries, Akpom might benefit also?

  13. Wath says:

As for yoy Ts you’re getting as bloody cheeky as Stan, You not joined the red-neck club have you..? πŸ™‚

  14. allezkev says:

Yeah, I’m with you Wath on Welbeck and Akpom…

It’ll be interesting to see how Crowley develops, Wilshere seems to have taken him under his wing… Could be an interesting tour for the lad…

  15. goonster says:

Kev what I love most about that Crowley lad is his set pieces. What a player. He actually hits the target everytime he takes one. That kid is going to be our first 100 million player πŸ˜€ fuck off barcnutulonia πŸ˜€

  16. goonster says:

Hey where’s scott? Since rico disappeared he’s be missing too. Am beginning to think rico and Scott is the same person πŸ˜€

  17. goonster says:

Call me crazy but am into something there. Either rico and Scott are shacking up currently or they are just one person πŸ˜€

  18. goonster says:

You know am right don’t ya micko. There’s something fishy going on around here πŸ˜€

  19. allezkev says:

Listening to Wenger talking about Adelaide, the player, not the town in Oz, you get the idea that he might have snapped up another little gem from Belle La France…

Stan, Rico is gonna string you up by the gonads…

    Coach/Wath, er, lata… πŸ™‚

The difference between a gentleman (LP09) and people like Judas/adewhore/nasri

Lukas Podolski has predicted that Arsenal will be in contention to challenge for the Premier League title, as he penned a letter to Gunners fans after completing a move to Galatasaray.

“Over the last three years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing people at Arsenal, I want to thank everyone from all the staff behind the scenes to the manager and my teammates, who have all helped make London a second home to me,” he wrote on a letter published on Twitter.

“To the fans… the best fans in England, who have supported myself and the team no matter what, you will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will forever be a Gunner!

“I am confident that next season the team will be challenging for that league title and I will be watching on as a fan! COYG

  21. Hell Raising Devil says:

Podolski and Ospina were my favourites long before they joined AFC. Kev can testify to that.

yes they had to make way for better and more established players however the time they spent at AFC confirmed that besides being good players they are also gentlemen.

yes Podolski will watch us as a fan…..however I will still continue watching him…..something which I have been doing since he broke into the German national team.

Well Poldi and You Guys are both of to Turkey after 3 years. I am sad to see one go the other pri*k could star in the remake of mid-night express for all I care.

  23. Joe says:

Dev just spent a long evening on 7am kickoff debating πŸ™‚ with deluded spurs fans thanks I enjoyed myself.

  24. allezkev says:

I see that Steven Gerrard has been busy commenting on the Raheem Stirling transfer/furore…

Gerrard and hypocrisy seem the perfect combination..

The same with all the Scouse Mafiosi in the media…

Yeah, it’s perfectly ok for Liverpool to tap up other clubs’ players, but it’s totally unethical when they’re on the receiving end…

I really hope that the Stirling affair tears them apart…

  25. Hell Raising Devil says:

    Bonjour Kev le cabbie.

    how are you mate???

I have a sneaky feeling that AW will get Sterling in the end. That will mean another young Englishman who he can mould. He is just playing the waiting game. what do you think??

  26. Adam says:

    Morning Wath and all.
I see Gerrard has given an interview reinforcing his working class routes and ranting on about the great people of Liverpool and how “down to earth” they are. His mantra is of a man of the people who has never lost contact with his council house mates etc, etc.
He gave the interview from the swimming pool of his $18 million mansion. The one next to Kev’s. πŸ™‚

  27. allezkev says:

Afternoon Coach, I’m very good thanks habib…
    It’s a warm one in London today…

All I wanna know, is has it stopped raining on Mick?

  28. Wath says:

New post is up, well it’s sort of a post. I’m off out and will be away tomorrow so there may not be a post 2moro until very late, maybe it will bring us luck and a signing or something at least worthy of writing something.

  29. allezkev says:

Adam, Gerrard is full of shit, it would be interesting to discover how many transfer requests he made whilst at Anfield?

I understand that he asked for a transfer on a multiple of occasions.
Not least when Mourinho had his tongue up Stevie Gees anus..,,
