As the media transfer silly season starts to hit full swing we are yet again hit with the same old names as said yesterday, Am sure it won’t be long before someone re-writes the normal M’vila to Arsenal and Lee’s fav Darren Bent….
Seems today it’s Mario Gotze just because someone says he has had a row with Bayern…. I wonder who let that slip to the media or was this argument made up over a large pint of lager n a beer hall in Munich?
He is without doubt a talented player and one we were linker with previously….. Does he fit in with the Arsenal… DO we need a player like him…? Is he not similar to what we already have or just a younger version allowing Arsene to maybe sell one of the older players?
It’s all guess work at the moment as we discuss tit-bits from the gossip columns but it does raise certain issues that we know need addressing within the squad.
We know we won’t enter an auction for a player nor will we be held to ransom over player demands so the media bandwagon of linking us with players that are also linked to the Chavs or Citeh really does have no legs to it at all we will just not try to out finance either of those two. We often hear Wenger admit to liking a player and amazingly the Mancs or Chavs are then suddenly interested in that player a day or two later according to the media, Is this Wenger playing games and leading people astray, It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest and why not. They flash the cash and waste it willy nilly it must make him smile to buy a player he has never once looked at merely by throwing them a bit of bait….. We have to use all options available to us, we don’t have the sugar daddy money but we do have common sense and we can use a little bit of thought into making out we after certain players to keep others away from our actual targets. Lets hope we manage to pull off some good business the next few weeks and also manage to get the Chavs n Citeh to over pay on a few players that we are “looking at”.
Enjoy your day.
You are quick off the mark Wath…
Good read… these rumours are becoming ridiculous atm..; not even half entertaining..
Turan has been confirmed at Barca as expected…41 millions Euro
Morning all btw…
Morning you lot………….
Things to do this morning so back early afternoon, Again anyone stuck in moderation my apologies until my return…!
Seems Arteta has signed a new contract, Rico will be pleased….. The core of the squad seems sorted now for us to bring in the players to make a bigger difference as game changers or just to give us the solid backbone in the middle of the pitch..!
Hi Ts….. How to catch a fish out of a lake full of crap… Thats the transfer gossip mill mate lol
Have a good day Wath…
I personally think Arteta staying is a grand move by AW…
We now have a very solid mix of experience at the club.
Players like Arteta, Rosicky may not have the legs to play 30 games a season but their on-field tactical awareness is priceless.
The noises coming out of Bayern a few weeks back were that Gotze wasn’t interested in renewing his deal, and that he had a price, also noises from his agent about a lack of support, if he’s available I think it’s a no brainer
I don’t know about Gortze but we have acquired another player, yesterday:
Done deal! Arsenal complete shock defender transfer from another English club
Jordi Osei-Tutu has signed for Arsenal (Picture: Twitter)
Arsenal have added to their youth ranks by signing defender Jordi Osei-Tutu from Reading.
The 16-year-old, who can also play in central midfield or on the wing, had earned rave reviews in the Royals youth sides last term.
And the Gunners have moved to sign him to a scholarship contract, joining fellow new arrivals Vlad Dragomir and Yassin Fortune.
The news was confirmed on the Arsenal website after Arsenal unvieled their list of scholars and young professionals for the new season.

There, another done deal. He’ll be ready in 5 years time, then! There’s handy!
Good Morning Lovelies and Hunkies.
Good one Wath.
seems as if we were gazumped by Bentaleb. we were rocked say the blogs. he has signed a five year contract. were we interested??? I doubt it. and tbh I am not much impressed by him. There are bigger and better fish than him.
Morning Ginge. you are right about Arteta, but we defo need another DM to help Coquelin. And if Theo is to play up front than we need a winger.
Do you think Gnabry will make the step up now?? He can play on the wings or in the centre. Maybe more as a box to box. what say you??
Turan to Barca will only increase the Pedro stories , I just hope that we are not going on another collection spree of lightweight technical players Pedro is 5 foot 7 and Gotze 5 foot 9. With Arteta staying Cazorla rumours will start again . 1 winger and 1 playmaker still leaves us unbalanced should Le Coq pick up an injury.
Dev- I consider Serge a first team player…
Serge was playing more games than Ox before his injury.
Jordi is being touted as a new Essien; will he play for Ghana or England?
I have a feeling that Gnabry will be Le Coq’s understudy. He will be played DM to rest Coquelin.
We will get a CDM.
Gonalons is to be training on his own…
https://youtu.be/W7V9D5gEot8
enjoy quite pertinent.
Jordi is being touted as a new Essien; will he play for Ghana or England?
If he chooses Ghana he will have a short time to break into Arsenal’s first team if Dyke gets his way . Once he becomes an overseas player after 21 it will get harder for him to stay.
”Gonalons is to be training on his own…” should read is reported to be training …
True true Potter, agree there.
And with TSGH and others think that its a grand move to keep Arteta on, even if he plays a nuturing role to the young ones coming through.
Am I worried that Wenger might not go for a DM now? Yes, I am… its the main position where we dont have 2 top quality players (sorry Flam!)… One injury to Le Coq, and its all Coqued up. Personally I think if we buy Schniederlin and thats all I would be ok with the transfer season. 25m is probably 5m too much, but on the balance of things we could have him for 6 or 7 seasons and it would be an investment worth making.
But the eerie silence makes me think Wenger is not interested in Schniederlin… I hope he knows something I dont… (usually thats the case in recent seasons)
There are some decent alternatives to Morgan Schneiderlein- Roger
And I don’t mean William Carvahlo (spelling)
Bender
Good alternatives to Scheiderlin are fine with me, with Good being the operative word. The days of a cheap, lower grade version of the same should be over – especially since we dont need to spend megabucks on other positions…
My worry for next season is who we have that can take up Alexis work load.
Towards the end of the Copa America you could tell Alexis was running on reserve tank; either he gets an extended break or we witness the Arsenal syndrome i.e. 2nd season injury…
Morning All…
Morning Wath, a surprisingly good post mate 😉
Hiya Kev.
Just Bender?? Or Bender + Bender???
I prefer both.
but one of them can fill at both CB and DM.
In my view, Morgan is 2 season too late…
When I started talking about Morgan 3 or so seasons ago and someone who claims to be itk alluded that AW was watching we should have bought him then; AW thought Diaby will do a RVP and redeem the CM role but…
Kramer was another who AW was keen on but the player was not keen to make a move to the EPL that early in his career and we only requested for a loan…
Bender- Sven or Lars; both have relatively had 2 or 3 bad seasons.
season*
Morning boys and girls.
Wenger was really keen on Maril Gotze 2+ years ago, but I recall a German journal talking on the radio about him, saying that in his opinion that Gotze was too young to leave Germany at the time.
I suppose some players mature mentally/emotionally quicker than others and have less trouble moving to a foreign country/culture – Jose Antonio Reyes for example…
Anyway, Gotze is older and wiser now and might be more positive about a move abroad and maybe to England…
Wenger always keeps a watch on players who he likes, even if they refuse his initial advances – Robert Pires for example.
So I think that there could be some ‘legs’ in this rumour…
But as Wath alluded to, I’m not at all sure where we could fit him in, unless Santi leaves, and I’d be sorry to see him go…
Hi Coach…
I’m not sure mate, Lars or Sven or both is an option, and there’s still Draxler, AW will keep his eyes on all three…
But I suspect, that, unless a super quality player becomes available (Gotze?) that AW is gonna go with Rosicky, Flamini, Arteta, Bielik and Hayden, as back up to Coquelin and Co…
Reyes was such a shame , if it wasn’t for the racist Aragones setting him against our French contingent we would have had a diamond in our hands.
Bad seasons doesn’t make the Benders bad players…
It just brings their asking price down to a more sensible level and makes them even more attractive to AW…
Morning Kev;
Not sure what to make of Gotze’s career since he left BVB; I am trying to be neutral here btw. 🙂
From a distance he has gone on to win the WC and won the treble and a double.
Also on paper he has played loads of games but the cynic in me says he played a few more games this season due to Robben and Ribery’s injuries and form…
It is difficult to say if Pep rates Gotze as Gotze seems to play against weaker teams when the main guys are fit or he comes on as a sub in a lot of the big games. e.g Barca in the UCL semi’s.
I see him as a very solid luxury player but he is only 23 y.o and so he still has time…
Agree Potter re. Ryes.
He is still doing a decent job at Seville
Interesting Barca opted for Turan instead of Gundogan. I see Gundogan as Santi’s replacement next summer. Better still Pjanic.
Maybe AW can do the unthinkable and get Maschisio from Juve. Unknown but arguably the 2nd most important player for Juve behind Vidal or Buffon
I agree with you totally Potter…
I think AW sees Ramsey as a CDM going forward, as an emergency anyways.
I personally think Le Coq won’t replicate the form he showed in March to April unless his fitness improves considerably. Last season Santi and TR07 covered Le Coq more often than they should have considering how fans rate Le Coq…
If you put JW and Le Coq in tandum then we will see his deficiencies. imho.
Its reminiscent of my observation and contention of how fans rated Flamini before the beginning of last season. With Flamini and Ramsey together there appeared to be no problem, however when AW started last season with JW and Flamini more often than he would have liked we all changed our views on Flamini…
And me. I thought Reyes was a diamond, a polished diamond! The Neville bros kicked lumps out of him and he was never as good thereafter, he was always waiting for the crunching tackle from behind! Of brothers,
You can’t beat two benders pitching up together on the same sod!!
He is club captain with Pareja for Seville;
At the time he was bought CR07 was a gervinho in disguise whilst REyes was the finished product.
The 2 goals he scored on his debut were sublime…
Ginge, you’re still harsh on Coquelin.
He came from nowhere and did a sensational job.
Keep in mind a playing unit works best when players complement each other, and while Santo and Tommy helped Coquelin, he helped an entire side become a better unit.
You just hate the French bahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Still love ya work though bud.
Roger/Dev- what do you think of Ander Iturraspe
I will pick up way ahead of WC myself
ha ha ha Scott- I knew the mention of Le Coq will get you out of your slumber.. 🙂
Howdy buddy.
You are beginning to sound like my bud Snap-
I hate no french player- I was talking about Morgan before anyone else on the net; I rate Gonalons and Lacasette too…
I got the same response whenever I said the same about Flamini too…
On a serious note do we really need a new CDM? If we are to compare our defensive acumen against the chavs;
Chelsea conceded 4 less goals than us and had 5 more clean sheets than us. That’s considering they have far better goalkeepers and pretty much played with their starting back 7 (including matic) for the whole season, whereas we had a discjointed defence until we were able to pair Kosser and Per.
Before that we relied on a teenager who had only 20+ games experience in the EPL as our CB plus Monreal plus JW and Flamini has Arteta and Ramsey were almost missing..
I think we need more goals from midfield or from the wings…
For some games, I’d like another DM and as cover, yes please.
Then again, Rambo can do the job 🙂
A winger with a wicked cross will see Giroud score 25 plus each season, so I’d take that.
Definitely think we need another DM, TSGH. We are only one serious injury away to Le Coq for the wheels to fall off. In my view we are in with a REAL hunt for the title this year with the right strengthening… there is no reason to gamble that ‘she’ll be all right’.
I think Kev wrote that Rosicky, Flamini, Arteta, Bielik and Hayden can be backup to Le Coq. If thats our backup for any length of time then god help us.
Rosicky – occassional cup games
Flamini – cup games/ sell
Arteta – A big inury risk, dont count on major involvement
Bielik – League cup at most, not ready
Hayden – same as Bielik
I have no real idea about Iturraspe, but his whoscored stats are definitely below the other household names… particularly pass sucess %. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/44737
Oh, and agree we need more goals from the midfield. Rambo is one who delivers from there, so I wouldnt like him to have to be constrained to a holding DM role as he gives so much drive going forward and is very intelligent getting into goal scoring positions. Great shot too.
How many of you will bet that it will only be AW who stops AS17 from playing in the Charity shield?? I think that AS17 will want to begin the season immediately but AW will force him to rest.
Devil, Sanchez would say the Copa America was his holiday lol
Wenger needs to reel him in so we get a long stint out of him over the coming years.
Rodger, fortunately for us, atm, Coquelin hasn’t been called up by the French National team, that allows him the rest he is gonna need next season…
I actually think, that with the assistance of Shad Forsythe, that Coquelin, and most of our key players will avoid those injuries that have damaged us in the recent past…
Arteta will do fine in the odd game and Flamini can come on late in games to save the likes of Coq being overplayed…
Hayden and Bielik will be just fine for the League Cup. And as the season progresses, and they train and improve with the senior squad, we might see them in and around the match day squads in the second half of this season.
Afternoon, I knew the Gotze to Arsenal story would kick off, the minute his agent spoke, typical media, clutching at straws.I do think Arteta penning the 1 year extension will all but negate the need for Wenger to bring in a DM, also I think a striker could be a real possibility, if he can get Sanogo and Campbell of the books, which we will probably hear more about in the next few weeks, As for who he will bring in, is anybodies guess.
Scott- I wrote a post before the Monaco game saying that I will change my views on Le Coq if he played better than Kondogbia as Le Coq had played more games in the UCL than Kondogbia before we met them…
Le Coq was caught tactically napping…
Fans do not rate Arteta but Pep said AW played better with Arteta; at least 16 months ago.. 🙂
Shooting myself in the foot there… age catches up to all of us…
Agreed Dev/Scott re AW reeling in AS17.
Who ever wins the Community shield does not win the EPL anyways and so its’ not necessary for us to win that McDonalds’ cup…; maybe AW would like to beat Jose for once.
Gotze is like Ashavin in most games he plays. imo
very lazy, but world class technique
Remember when Arsenal went to Monte Carlo, beat Monaco on the night, quite conclusively, and with a bit more luck, should have knocked them out…
Was Kondogbia actually playing?
Because I don’t recall hearing his name mentioned at all???
Ginge, I still rate Arteta….for certain games.
That is my point as well Scott. Arteta can play in certain games, and can be used as a sub to rest Coquelin (if no DM is bought).
It also seems that TR07 will be allowed to leave now that Arteta has signed.
You are right about Kondogbia Kev. That night we played Monaco off the park and their midfield barely had a sniff.
Wenger said last year, he sees Chambers future as a DM, I wonder is that he,s plan for Chambers this season to slot him in, in between Coq and Arteta,s rest or injured periods, Im not so sure.
Where did you hear that about Rosicky then Coach…?
I’d be inclined to hang onto him…
here it is Kev.
http://bet.unibet.co.uk/football/premier-league/transfer-news-today-arsenal-midfielder-set-cut-price-departure
and its something which saddens me as he is one of the most skilful players ever to don our shirt. yes I would be inclined to hang on to him but it seems that he might go.
Gee, every time Tommy played last season, we were better.
now this would make many happy……..
http://www.insidefutbol.com/2015/07/07/french-outfit-bastia-in-talks-to-sign-arsenal-midfielder-mathieu-flamini/219907/
It does seem there is a much needed cleared-out, lets hope he,s wage demands are not to O.T.T. Sanogo next.
Devil, he has to go, IMO.
Agreed ‘re tr07
No need for emotional outburst.
Beginning of season several folks were calling for monreal’s head.
Later those same folks thought he was the best since winter burn.
One player never changes a team on a grand scale but wholesome tactically changes at tactically level does.
Place even matic in the kamikaze formation we played and he will look suspect
Ginge, agreed…….people’s opinions do fluctuate with a players form.
Form is temporary,…..you know the rest lol.
Poor old Gibbs can’t play now…..though give him a run of games and he remembers how 🙂
Coquelin wasn’t THE player that suddenly made us better, but his addition to what was already in place made a hell of a difference.
Tactics, of course, played there part, as did a healthy squad.
Agree on keeping the emotional stuff under control TSGH. Imo, Wenger has done little wrong in the transfer market since the RVP debacle – especially looking around at other clubs and their transfer records. Jokes some of them! (im looking at you Sp*rs, Liverpool, Yanited, City (Mangala)).
Ok, so if Flamini and Rosicky are moving on, Im certain that Wenger will strengthen there (and I dont mean Kim Kallstrom)
Some of the nonsense that gets passed for a story. Suggest not to click this… http://metro.co.uk/2015/07/07/7-reasons-arsenal-must-re-sign-robin-van-persie-from-manchester-united-during-transfer-window-5283896/
Roger I won’t mind RvP as a bench warmer… lol
I would like to hear his false talk of how he is returning home after we have signed him…
He and Sagna must be thinking is the extra 50k a week worth it…
Probably not. 🙂
The grass is rarely greener when people leave The Arsenal , even after they have won things they always say good things about the club.
I think sometimes its difficult to put certain things into writing especially on blogs viewed by some many…
I have nothing against Le Coq. In fact I liked him that much that I was updating his progress or lack of on here during his year long spell at Freisburg.
The current general consensus when you read the blogs and listen to the media is that he is now our no.1 CDM.
Seeing as I have no coaching/managerial badges, I can only based my differing opinion on my observation from what other top managers do…
The top teams who are without a doubt ahead of us are namely:-
RM, Ath, Barca, Juve and FC Munchen. One may add Chelsea and City as they are our local rivals.
If I am to look at all those teams spine individually…
1. RM- have a slow Kroos as their CDM with Modric as his deputy. Silva the new signing even plays as the box to box midfielder instead of as a CDM. The Arsenal fans I know ask why Khedira is not played as a CDM even though anyone who watches La liga knows Khedira has never been a CDM but they believe what the media say…
2. FC Munchen – bought a pensioner Alonso from RM to play CDM when on paper Arsenal fave Martinez should be used as the CDM but he isn’t used as a CDM
3.Barca- when Xavi or Busquet are absent Rakitic is used as the CDM. Next season Turan will take Rakitic’s role with Rakitic taking Xavi’s role..
4. Juve- Pirlo has always been their CDM since he moved to Turin. Vidal and Pogba have been pushed further forward.
With Pirlo retiring Alergra (spelling) Marchisio has been used in Pirlo’s place instead…
5. Ath- have Gabi who is very similar to Alonso and Arteta as their CDM with Koke with the’ legs’ doing what Ramsey or Yaya Tore or Vidal do…
Mancity have 2 proper CDM but they still get over run in most big games because that approach does not work.
Chelsea in the big games actually start with Matic ahead playing in front of Cesc unless Obi Mikel is playing when Jose plays a flat double holding midfield set-up.
From my perspective, there is a general trend there… the most tactical players are used as a CDM with the more mobile players used as the box to box.
Looking at Arsenal, one may argue Le Coq is disciplined and sits in front of the back 4 but when you look at it closely, Santi is the one playing the deep lying playmaker role and using his tactical awareness to win the ball with Le Coq playing slightly further ahead when we do not have the ball….
Now the issue as I have always argued is that its the player who plays the box to box role who is required by AW to do the hard work and win the ball..
Petit, Edu and Gilberto were not mobile but Parlour or Vieira were the ones required to do the hard tackling…
Same can be said with Psg with Matuidi playing in the box to box role whilst Motta similar to Arteta plays deeper.
I know no top team who have their most defensive player sitting in front of the back 4 as by doing that you are inviting pressure onto oneself.
Klopp adopted the standard approach last season when Gundogan returned from injury by dropping Jojic and playing Gundogan as the box to box player with club captain Kehl ahead and he flopped…
One may say its all nonsense as I don’t have a coaching qualification but Maradona did and I bet anyone on here would do better as a manager than Maradona ever did or will do… 😉
santi positioning…
Ts, see what you saying re proper “ballers” as the so called defensive midfielder but in the european leagues the pace and intensity is not what it is in England hence the same players at age struggle,no doubt in my mind Arteta is a baller and a very good player he has just lost his legs and thats where we get caught out and where we need fitter and faster but with brains as well. Le Coq does a job because he does sit and he gets about the park and then lets the others play ball so he suits the team in my opinion and we need another like him even better if possible as one not enough if we are to properly compete. One injury and we could be exposed but we also know Arsene do like a gamble..!
Another player who I think is highly under rated but read AW is looking at…
Balance is what makes a team all/most players are not the same.
I player can make a team..if the others can read the game.
The Coq changed our season..thats a fact.
Wenger reckoned ..he was worth as much 40million.
Yet 3 months before…..would have sold him for 2 bob.
Great players are great because they produce nearly
every game at the top.
Top of your head folks…Who could name the 1986 world cup
winning team from Argentina..
I am with you on that Wath…
The enigma though is why the so called high intensity EPL teams do not fair better against the continental teams in the UEFA cup and UEFA cup?
I still contend it is more to do with tactics and squad rotation/management leading to injuries to key players than individuals per se…
Especially when we start playing 3 games a week from September onwards..
In my view, when we are playing 1 game a week AW is able to drill his team properly taking into consideration the opponents strengths and weaknesses; however when we are playing 2 or 3 games a week he sets the team up in his default kamikaze way whilst most other top teams are able to rotate…
If you look at our better performance against Liverpool with Suarez and other top teams it was always when the chips are down or we are playing 1 game a week…
Remember we beat city last season in the community shield and 2 seasons ago when we were a bit disciplined
How are you going to check fred that it is top of the head? 😛
I can only do 4 of the XI
Top of my head is full of GG Fred, I got no chance, 11 Argies would be my guess…..
My favourite is Jorge Burruchaga… his sending off vs Cameroun in 1990 was classic. lol
Jorge Burruchaga the original right winger.
😀 11 argies… classic
And caniggia…
Goonie will like this…; cocaine and footie. lol
People diss Arteta because he was in an Arsenal side that looked poor defensively leaking 6 goals to Chelsea and the bin-dippers, and as the DM he was the easy target. The forget Arteta got man of the match against those 2 teams when we played them previously when we were not playing like headless chicken…
But one player can only do so much. Coq looks so much better, but a large part of that is down to the way the rest of the team defends around him especially after the sperds loss when our season was almost over.
Stick Arteta or any makeshift CDM in a setup where the forwards are pressing properly as a unit in front of him, where the CM is not JW or Ox who will hold onto the ball and loss the ball in dangerous areas, where the FB aren’t both bombing forward and the back line is not exposed 2 vs 2 at the back…
Fergie won his last title with Giggs as his CDM in several games with Wooney and co. pressing hard upfield…
The reason Germany have always played their retired captains previously attackers as CDM.. Matthaus comes to mind in 1990 when Maradona and Argie were the favourites…
Even Santos looked good when the team were playing well…. it was when the squad was ravished with injuries and fatique that proper players stand up…
I see the organ grinder has gone on holiday and left the monkey in charge again !
Afternoon all, afternoon Wath.
Maradona, one of a few players who could take a game by the scruff of the neck, still mustn’t grumble we’ve got Ozil !
tsgh, bet you wouldn’t be so gobby if he had a shot-gun pointed at ya !
ha ha Micko…
tsgh 1.35, ‘one player never changes a team on a grand scale but wholesome tactically changes at tactically level does’……… any chance you could explain that to me like I’m a 2 year old please, cheers buddy !
Micko where you been mate have had to contend with Stan all bloody week I needed you around to balance the scales…! You well..?
How do Wath, was over in Blighty for a few days, some fierce storms over the weekend, Stan is Stan, he’d give an aspirin a headache lol.
stop taking the phish Micko… 🙂
I meant Messi is Messi but he couldn’t help the Argies to a trophy in another major final..
looking at their squad, the midfield trio of Javier Mascherano Lucas Biglia and Javier Pastore are as good as they come; that midfield is better than Burrchaga, Enrique, Batista of 1986.
You can’t compare Valdano (spelling) to Sergio or even Higuain.
Not forgetting their superb back 4 of Zabaleta, Demichelis,Otamendi ,Rojo
Now look at Chile’s squad where they all play like a proper team with 2 internationals/superstars only…
Maybe Maradona is greater afterall as he helped an average Argentine and Naples team to win trophies… fuelled by the white stuff of course. 😉
Micko- Goonie, reckons he is a red-neck now; a bible bashing and gun toting one too. 😀
I need to suggest to Goonie not to have his sugar free tapioca as pudding. lol
Bible basher you say, I once traced my family roots back and think I might be related to Jesus, no joke !
Wasn’t 1986 the last time the dirty Argies won a trophy ?
Dunno about an aspirin Micko but he gives my arse a headache…! Bless his cotton red neck socks…!
11 Argies and a hand of god, you now saying that was you Micko..? Maradona will disagree…!
29 years and counting Micko…
Who said the argies and the British/English don’t have history… lol
Jesus Christ, it’s Mick..!!!
Saints preserve us Father…
Tbh Coach, I still think that Rosicky is going to stay…
Not sure that Flamini will go either, despite what the rumour blogs say…
Unless Wenger thinks that a couple more of his Kids are going to come through then I don’t see the point in letting anyone go, as long as they can all get into the 25 man squad…
Flamini, Rosicky and Arteta can all give us one more year and then move on if they want to…
Kev, it’s common knowledge you like a Bender or two but neither seem able to cement a place in their national team, maybe Arsene has a cunning plan afterall !
Nite folks, keep it real.
Waking up to news that Jose has made a bid for Aranguiz is saddening…
Morning Wath and all
RVP
Morning all. I see we are going to sign Di Maria and Higuain for a total of about £150 million. I obviously believe it completely. Happy days.
Very quiet on here; maybe folks are getting themselves ready to listen to the gospel from the historian…
Wath, are you in a conference all with the ‘towel-folder’ to get a discount on the tax you don’t pay on your supply of GG? 🙂
conference call*
Adam, I heard it was 160 million lol
Morning guys.
you forget about the £1 on top of that figure Scott.
Adam, never mind about Higuain and Di Maria, the big news is Hector Bellerin getting a new shirt number…
I can hardly contain my excitement..,
I’d heard it was a massive big going in for Messi and Aguerro……!
Wath, Messi, yes but Aguero?
I think you’re telling fibs now 🙂
I dreamt Ronaldo was coming home; His mother wants him to work with AW. Perez is astonished CR07 is opted to work under AW…
Morning Wath. I heard that too. Exciting times.
I heard that Perez is going to buy AFC. And the whole RM team wants to play under AW. Seeing that Perez has tried many times to get AW to manage RM, he figured it out that the only way was for him to buy out SK and be the chairman of AFC. And all the players want to work under AW…..so they are going to transfer en block to AFC.
Zidane is going slightly mad.
Good morning Lovelies and Hunkies.
Nice post Wath. Better than yesterday’s 😉
I can’t wait Dev…
Imagine a strike force without OG12 and Ramos getting a red card every other game instead of Per with his level headed approach…
I think Perez might hire Brenda to manage us
The burning question really is, will Yaya Sanogo get the No.9 shirt…?
All that aside, there’s a tube strike today… 😀
Strange times indeed. I am really amazed by the fact that every day WATH manages to come with a better post than the previous day. The one he posted today is much better than yesterday.
errr. hold on. this is yesterday’s post. so this means that yesterday’s post is better than the one of the day before.
Wait til you read todays Dev, it’s crap….
New Post up
