We might not all be able to get together with as many family members we’d like to but there’ll be other years. Next year hopefully. Spare a thought though for those on their own, give them a ring, shout over the fence to a neighbour, just say hello so they know they’re not forgotten. I would suggest offering them a mince pie but if they’ve turned out like mine, perhaps not.

I am just off to my sons to see grandaughter open her presents , got to stay in a locked conservatory as the virus hit her school last week and she is +.
Taking coffee and bacon rolls and will stay for an hour then come back home .

Luckily, we were able to visit my wife’s family and mine, so a relatively normal Xmas was had but I know most of you aren’t so fortunate, so just be safe and do your best to make the day a great one.

Sure feels different here in Britain. I feel so sorry for all people alone. My own daughter has Covid 19, she has mild symptoms, worse thing is she has to stay in her bedroom. She can’t see her partner or 3 young children. It’s unlucky because she’s been tested twice a week for the past few months, she finally tests positive a week before Xmas.
At least she’s well – here’s to better times for all gooners.

Rico and all, hope Christmas Day was as good as possible. Daughter came for dinner as she’s currently living alone, had to disappoint son and 4 year old grandson. Southend moved from tier 2 to 4 over the last month! It is what it is, hope we all have a better year in 2021!
