Morning guys.
No football talk from me, no moaning about Mesut Ozil or Alex Iwobi and not a word about our defence or defending in general. Nothing about injuries either, well, other than Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joined our never ending list of players we won’t see until well into 2019. Next month could end up being a busy one for the club unless Unai Emery is going to call upon a few more academy players.
Anyway, as much as the Sky Sports advert try and tell us that ‘Christmas is for football,’ it’s not. Christmas is about the celebration of a very special birth many years ago and since that day, we get together with family, friends and loved ones to mark the occasion.
It’s one of my favourite times of the year. The build up, carols, midnight mass, decorations, cooking and then the day itself. A day for peace, love and laughter with friends, family and loved ones.
However you spend this day, have fun, be happy and don’t forget to get your brussels on nice and early…
