Jack Wilshere in trouble with the Arsenal Fans and UEFA? Alex and Cahill linked again…..

Naughty Jack has been accused of breaching UEFA rules by having a flutter on Arsenal during our final Champions League fixture.

He is supposed to have said on Twitter:

‘Champions league tonight come on the Arsenal! @Frimpong26AFC 1st goal is 150-1… worth a cheeky £10

Frimmy nearly won me some money there!’

The latter was when Frimpong came close to scoring when the scores were level 0-0

Not to miss out, young Wojciech Szczesny replied to Wilshere..

Frimpong then responded with:

Cheers Guys U can put a tenner on a tackle? 🙂

A UEFA spokesman has since had this to say:

All persons bound by UEFA’s rules must refrain from any behaviour that could damage the integrity of matches and competitions. A breach of these principles is committed by anyone who participates directly or indirectly in gambling or who has a financial interest in such activities.

Jack has strenuously denied such allegation:

I didn’t actually bet on the game. I know we’re not allowed to! I was only messing #justtobeclear

Funny enough, all Jack’s tweets have now been deleted from his account.

What is wrong with people today, have they no sense of humour?

If Jack wanted to place a bet on our Champions league fixture, don’t they think he’d have got someone else to do it and, would he be stupid enough to tweet about it?

No, I don’t think so either, get a life UEFA!

Moving on to something else about Jack which could upset a few staunch Wenger fans!

He has been talking about the impending vacancy for the England Managers position and he’s all for our current manager filling it next year.

Wenger wouldn’t be a bad thing for England. He proves it every year. He and Sir Alex Ferguson are the best managers in the league and, if the boss at Arsenal wanted the job with England, I’d be delighted with that.

Well, what do we make of that, has Wilshere had enough of Wenger at The Emirates?? Nah, I don’t think so either….

Staying with Wilshere, he’s confident of a return early in the New Year as long as he suffers no set-backs. Just the news we have all been waiting to hear.

Finally, the gossips are suggesting we are still interested in Gary Cahill, no surprise with The Daily Mail there but they also suggest old Ebenezer Wenger may turn his attentions to Alex, who should be available quite cheap next month. Chelsea also want Cahill as does ‘Arry and the latter is reported to have made an enquiry for Jan Vertonghen.

Boy, it’s hard to keep up with all the Red Top talk but out the three listed, the one who would who would make most impact with us is the 6’ 2″, 24 year old Belgium.

So go on Arsene, sign him up and our defence will finally be complete…

Simples innit…..

Have a good day all, Everton up tomorrow…..

No mate. Not been doing many things. My life is very hectic between job, coaching and family. Some days are ok. Others I am up to my neck in work.

  7. rico says:

Hope he was paying Lee 😉

this is a special team. In a match, both goalkeepers are out for the next game.
Almunia at the bench tomorrow. Will be greeted with a thunderous round of applause …
Our defence for tomorrow will be nice too
    Spurs wants Milito…

    Laters Dg…

Hi JM, ‘Arry wants everyone 😉

Will certainly be an interesting back line, I hope Miquel plays LB or a reserve LB as we need TV to play where TV plays best….

  10. allezkev says:

I do hope that the Alex rumour is a bum steer.
Otherwise we’ll end up looking like the Chavs reserve team.
It’s gotta be Vertonghen this January or in the summer.
I won’t be best pleased if he ends up at the Slum.

  11. allezkev says:

You know, i had a listen [about 5 mins] of Talkshite yesterday afternoon.
And even with the calamity at Old Toilet and Wastelands those pillocks were still going on about Arsenal.
Hahaha, you couldn’t make it up. How pathetically crap is that excuse for a radio station.
Fortunately i hardly ever hear a proper Arsenal fan calling in anymore. Well not for the short time i listen.
Starve them of callers. It’s their oxygen.

  12. allezkev says:

Anyone seen the new statues outside The Grove.
    Pictures in the Evening Standard.
    Gotta say they’re quire good…

  13. rico says:

Thanks Lee, hope he’ll say yes 😉 😉

If not, I am packing my dinghy and off to give him a dunking in the cold waters 😉

  14. allezkev says:

Sorry i had to shoot off Rico.
    I’ve got some ideas boss.

  16. Micko says:

I really don’t know what all the fuss was about terry henry, was he really that good ? if I was jimmy carter i would be really pished off.

  17. Micko says:

Okay, I can take a hint, just thought i’d stick my head in the door to say hello, be rude not to, catch you all tomorrow.

  18. rico says:

    Night all…..

Quiet on here again [yesterday] .
Morning Lee. Yes it’s been a bit manic, but that’s a good sign.
Bet it’s gonna be a good occassion at The Grove today.
Miquel trained with the 1st team and is expected to be on the bench.
No doubt Arteta will find it strange, but i expect he’ll have a good game.

  21. allezkev says:

Morning Rico. Yes it was cold, but i was warm… 🙂
Should be an interesting match today.
Don’t think that Everton have any speed merchants so their threat will probably come from high balls & dead ball situations.
Having a back~four of centre~backs shouldn’t cause us any concerns.
Would be nice to see Theo get on the scoresheet.
