Morning all.
After the draw at home against Spurz, the loss to West Brom and a draw with Norwich away, a game in which I used my bet365 bonus code for new customers, the question ‘Wenger in/Wenger out’ is again being raised on a regular basis.
Should he go?
I’d suggest the balance of opinion is slightly tipped on the scales towards ‘yes’.
On here, other forums and various Facebook pages, I could not possibly count the number of people who perhaps at times, contradict themselves when offering reasons why he should go. Two major arguments are invariably used by those wanting him gone.
Each in it’s own right is a fair point, but when people use both, the contradiction becomes apparent.
Point 1 is ‘Wenger won’t spend, and therefore our squad is always lacking depth and overall class’.
Point 2, which is more a question people ask aloud, is ‘imagine what a top manager would do with our squad’.
Without placing too much emphasis on the fact we are 2nd and just 2 points off top spot without signing a single first team outfield player in the summer, it’s worth mentioning that other clubs who as always, spent a small fortune, are below us. Some more so than others. 🙂
Leicester, who sit above us wouldn’t have spent an awful lot I’d imagine, so the two clubs which didn’t go overboard in the summer are at the top of the table.
Anyway, back to the contradictions.
‘A top manager would succeed with the terrific squad Wenger has assembled.’
‘Our squad is not good enough, and not deep enough.’
It makes you think, well it does me.
Someone whose opinion must be respected, if not enjoyed or even agreed with, is Alex Ferguson, who asked a few months back ‘which other manager in world football could do a better job than Wenger’?
No doubt they’ll be plenty of differing opinions on Fergie’s comments but it’s hard for me to simply dismiss his view.
I’m not for one second suggesting Wenger was right by not strengthening during the summer, quite the contrary, he clearly lost his code for new players, but the flip side is, if our squad is not good enough and not deep enough, shouldn’t he be getting recognition for the fact we are in second spot?
Seems not as the general consensus is that Arsene Wenger should have signed more players back in the summer and had he done so, we could very well be six points clear at the top and flying high. While I agree re the signing of outfield players in the summer, that’s not the really the point I’m trying to make.
If the squad is no that bad then surely he’s a genius. If the squad is good, then he’s doing a half decent job.
You can’t have it both ways, although many seem to.
PS…..I still say him retiring on a high after last years Cup Final would have been simply perfect… 🙂
Having written that, Scott is off to find his tin hat……
Yes, I’m officially in hiding Hahahahahaha
I wasn’t poking the Bears, just raising this for discussion 🙂
I’ve got my tin hat on too Scott… 😉
Thanks for the post and I’m in the ‘had he signed, we’d be top’ camp. And if it wasn’t for the rest slipping up too, we’d be well down the table… 🙁
It’s a funny old season in the PL and I fear the summer of neglect will prevent us from running away with the league title…
If AW wanted to go out on a high, he’s got a funny way of going about it imo…
Still, you never know what January will bring, if he is on a similar wavelength to most us us, two signings in the first week and the PL is still there to be won…
Scotty Oz 😀 I said it last night didn’t i? You re the archbishop of all the wengerites 😀 hahahahahah praise rico??? No way we re in this shit because of him. If he listens to us fans and not play god maybe just maybe we ll have won a few titles along the way. Morning good people slept with a smile on my face 😀
Rico, we’ve all asked why he didn’t sign anyone, and we all wonder where we’d be if we had.
He’s the most frustrating of men, no question.
Hahaha Stan.
Iv said all along I’d never defend his failure to strengthen, and I won’t, because I can’t 🙂
I still see good in the man though.
Wengers problem is that he does have a deep squad, but a lot of those players are injury prone. It is idiocy to think that Wilshere, Walcott, Gibbs, Chamberlain, Ramsey, Rosicky, and Arteta would not have a period of time on the treatment table. He needed to be ruthless in the summer and get rid of some of those, but he wasn’t and now we are where we are because of his (yet again) bungled transfer business.
“I still say him retiring on a high after last years Cup Final would have been simply perfect…”
This.
Why not say fuck it and get in the two/three required quality players in January, no expense spared and go massively for the PL??
It seems no one wants to win the thing at the moment!
I don’t Scott lol. He’s the most infuriating person I know. Does the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I mean who plays a player yet knowing he’s in red zone? Tell me Scott tell me.
Leicester do, Lee 🙂
You’re right though.
Howdy lee…let’s vote Adam the blogger of the year and ts the chump of the century 😀 what do you say pal??
Stan, as I said, certain things I won’t defend.
A black cab driver (they are the fonts of all knowledge) told me Wenger is on North of £10m p.a and gets a piece of the transfer action or non-action!
There you go…just one more step and you re on the dark side like me. Come on scotty don’t be afraid. It’s actually fun here 😀 I long for the day you ll go wenger out with me. I ll buy the whole block a beer 😀 lol
Stanley…. 😉
Scott, I try too to.. lol
AW was very emotional after the game on Saturday which shows he really cares about things, I just can’t believe that the same man had so my faith in a squad which always and I mean always suffers so many injuries…
I don’t think they’ll finish top 6 Scott…..
Adam for me all day….. tough on TS there Stan.
You mean build on what we have Lee? Now that would be something new… 😉
Lol morning Rico 😀 how are you this morning maam?? Cold in around your parts?
Lee he’s going to get me when he returns lol. You ginge where are you??? I miss you mon fre 😀
I bet he is a kind, caring, genuine man………unlike Maureenho who is a cnut of Biblical proportions! #justsaying.
Who’s the specialist in failure now? Karma what a wonderful thing……
Lee, 5th or 6th for mine, but I’m with you on no top 4….new year will slow them down, I’d say.
Stan, call me Luke, and remember, the force is strong with this one hahahahahahahaha
Rico hahahahahah emotional??? Wenger??? Hahahahahahah joke of the century. He’s a tin foil man. Cold hearted business minded turd. He don’t feel nothing 😀
Joe Say has aged a hell of a lot this season 🙂 🙂
Beegegs, exactly..
No……..
Good thought-provoking post, morning!
Point one, totally agree, so much so that its boring repeating it, but it wont go away and I will carry on believing it.
Point two, totally disagree. Squad is always two to three players short of a title-winning one and cant see another manager doing better.
However good AW is in some aspects, and I actually feel he over-achieves getting us 4th every year, he shoots himself in the foot time and time again. So that is not genius. A Dein (or similar)/Wenger partnership might be closer.
Scott 😀
Scott karma is a bitch. I ll bet Eva is laughing her ass off presently.
Andrew, I really believe Wenger does what he thinks is right, but that doesn’t mean it is.
Seems he’s so insular, that nothing anyone else says gets though to him.
Shame, because, as is often the case, we are sooooo close.
Eva is a happy girl now, no question Stan Hahahaha.
Rico, thanks for your brilliant edit job 🙂
Now the question is how did these cnuts win the league on a canter last season. Same players same manager!!!! It’s unbelievable what’s going on at Stamford bridge but am not complaining 😀 long may it continue. Lol
Morning Stan, i’m well thank you, are you? It’s very mild here in the uk…
Scott, it took a while… 😉
Really?? I ve always pictured the English midlands as a very frosty place. Maybe I read too much Enid blyton growing up 😀
Andrew – couldn’t agree more re ‘Dein’, not so much the man but what he did for the club. When AW dilly dallied, Dein seems to have been the man who got things done…
Back to the power struggle I guess and Wenger having far too much…
Yes, Rico…but it was worth it.
It should be much colder Stan, but all gone a bit weird this winter, especially here in the south….
Nice one Scott. Finally a debate in the house. Some people (me too) think the stick he’s getting is because of his own undoing. Sadly we are living in a lifetime where success and winning is glorified and Wenger is not on the winning side.
Problem is he’s not getting the respect he deserves. I recall even when SAF was having those rare bad times, he was still respected. We may not like him but atleast give him the respect he deserves, he got us here- financially stable and a decent squad.
I am in the he should have strengthened camp, had we done that WBA and Norwich wouldn’t have crawled back into the game after us going ahead… even the Sunderland game.
🙂 Scott, it was…
Well said, Marshall and thanks.
The problem is Marshall ferguscnut never lied to his supporters or treat them with scorn. Plus he knew what he wanted and he always got it. Wenger on the other hand, not so much.
Good points made Marshall but I think goonster has a point. Fergie always had a strong squad when the season started and clearly wasn’t afraid to spend money to get who he wanted through the door…
Plus, he had a glut of trophies in the cabinet which fans couldn’t ignore….
Wenger deserves respect imo, although sometimes I am guilty of forgetting that, but he’s certainly not beyond criticism, especially when it comes to the squad…….
How many top class managers have suffered such humiliating defeats like wenger in the past 20 years. My God manure 8.2 liverpool 5.1 chelsea 6.0 shitty 6.3 bayern 5.1 in the spate of 3 years rico. 3 fucking years!!! Come on now respect is reciprocal. You give respect to get respect.
Thank you rico 😀
Hello again all. Jeez, just got back from doing the shopping. Lunch next, washing up, clean the cooker and then an afternoon of cleaning the bathroom and a machine wash. Clean the downstairs floors, then dinner, then more washing up. Might get a moment to myself this evening. Fuck this.
Goonster.
Lol Adam is whipped 😀 hahahahahah howdy slugger? Tired are you? Lol
I don’t mind it Stan but it all takes much too much time. 🙂
Welcome to my world Adam… 😉
You’re welcomed Scott.
Goonster, true Wenger lied- still slate him for that and the stringent transfers, and player management has been his downfall. Wenger likes to do things the right way, we all hear a so and so player could’ve been signed yet it never happened, part of it could be he’s never a go getter and part is he wants to get players in the right way. (i read some clubs pay agents insane money to coerce players to join their clubs).
He has his dark side, but there’s more good than bad. Look at how we play, we don’t have divers, cheats and thugs in our club. We play beautifully, he teaches players to be professional and be gentlemen as well. AW deserves recognition for that.
i hope after he retires he writes a book, and explains in all honesty how he did his transfers, till then we’ll never know what happened.
Lol Adam I applaud you my man that’s why you re my mentor 😀 you re swell my good man. A perfect gentleman 😀 Mrs A ll be thrilled. Lol I can’t do what you do Adam. Lol
Stan, Fergie did treat the game of football with scorn, though.
Adam, she’s replaceable…no. 6 is out there somewhere 🙂
Marshall we have 200 million quid burning a hole in our account. Nobody wants to blow it all at once. 15 million and we could have a back up to coquelin. Heck even 5 million could have gotten us ki from swansea but what did le fraud do?? Exactly nothing! Respect my ass.
True rico and goonster, Wenger sentiments towards some players sometimes is the source of his downfall. Now he’s sticking to like of Per and MA. i don’t know what he promised them after they were quickly signed after 8-2 thrashing but it would be a good time if he let them go. AW should be a manager first and a friend later, this the problem imo that we see injury prone and lots of squad members in our team, instead of actual first team competitors.
Scott. I couldn’t do it all again. 🙂
Thank you Stan. Very decent of you.
Rico. Surely you don’t do this every day do you? 🙂
Ki would have massively improved us. He’s exactly what we ve lacked for sometime. A ball playing enforcer. Jesus in heaven how are we stuck with this clown?? Coquelin to play the whole season?? Nobody votes wenger for president we ll all be dead in a month!!!
Goonster, trust me i hate how he’s conducting current business as much as you do. I wanted him gone like since 2010, someday he will and we’ll miss him. I bet you will
Spot on imo Marshall, he’s too soft, too loyal and all too often lacks the cutting edge..
I’m on the fence!
On the one hand I think he should have bought a couple in, but on the other hand I understand why he didn’t. He thought he “had enough.”
I feel he thought his squad was talented and sufficiently good and available to compete with the rich kids. Crucially, he wasn’t going to spend, spend, spend to achieve his EPL and CL ambitions, á la Chavski or shitty or manure et al. Furthermore he felt his squad was double covered, eg two players for every position plus several utility players who he could play in any position, if necessary! Well, with the exception of DM, CF, and CD of course!
His dilemma was if he went out and bought any of the above mentioned he would, unquestionably have upset his current first teasers, who would see their place in the team jeopardised by the newbies! Team spirit is not an easy friend when competition and jealousy or envy is rife amongst the staff! (Look at Debuchy, not a happy bunny, and who can blame him?).
What he didn’t factor in, as many have said already, was the enormous list of players on the ‘sick’! Having got rid of Diaby he thought his troubles were a thing of the past! How wrong was he?
So, the reason there is a general clamour surrounding his future, as a result of his seeming inertia, he could not have envisaged what has happened, although most of the remainder of the squad, the current ‘first team’ are of a good enough quality to win prizes, and points mean prizes!
So, here I am having nailed both legs to the fence! He had a good squad, when they were all fit, but could have found a couple of extre legs as stocking fillers, whom he could use at times of crisis, except of course he already had players on the books of that type, in the form of Arteta and Flamini, so why buy more?etc, etc
So you’ve learnt the lesson after 5, Adam…better late than never Hahahaha.
Stan, what if we are about to offer Alexis and Ozil new bumper contracts….there’s a decent joke in the kitty.
Added to that, what if Wenger is keen to leave at seasons end, and ensure the new guy has decent money to strengthen?
It’s just a theory, but what if?
No Marshall I won’t trust me. The sooner the better.
Pretty much Adam apart from shopping. But washing, hoovering, dusting, cleaning the chickens, cleaning the fireplace, walking the dog, getting lunch and dinner and clearing up afterwards etc… 🙂
Stan, yes you will…go on, admit it.
Come on scotty Oz 5 million from a possible 200 million??? Are you serious??? Come on mate.
Lol Scott trust me I won’t. I don’t forget that easy. Plus I still have nightmares about that 8.2 massacre. It left an indelible mark in my heart. Am scared for life.
5 million?
Over 5 years for both guys…..now you need to be serious lol.
It takes a lot longer to build up that stock of cash than it does to spend it.
I’ll miss old Scrooge….
Stan, that 8-2 is the most over hyped, needlessly stress causing game in history, IMO.
We had more shots on goal, missed a penalty and a sitter, Young scored goals he never would in a million years and they copped a ridiculous penalty.
We should have led easily at half time.
That result was a myth for mine.
Let it go bud.
Lol Scott now I know you re just trolling. Lol what else can I expect from the archbishop of all wengerites 😀
Wavy, I reckon with the entire squad fit we could win this league, I really do, but we, nor many clubs will ever have every single player fit for an entire season and the DM situation is a complete joke imo…
I think regardless of what argument you follow re Wenger, one thing is clear: we’ve been here before.
We never looked like winning the league last season as the team, yet again, could not cope with injuries and loss of form or fatigue to key players.
On that backdrop, not strengthening last summer sufficiently with a mountain of cash eclipsing the Emirates, was simply preposterous to say the least.
The inevitable injury-laden winter has hit and our great manager has not planned for the big chill. It’s really tiresome actually. I’m completely bored of repeating myself for 6 years.
This is what will happen. This injury period will cost us long-term re the title race bc I can’t see us surviving this number of absentees. We will go on a run later in the season but just fall short. A glorious failure moment where we lambast injuries and praise Wenger for even challenging.
That’s the positive scenario. Knowing Arsenal as well as I have….I expect a massive meltdown and Wenger out brigades after the January window when he brings in inadequate players if any.
The writing is on the wall.
Rico, that’s the absolute killer….a lack of back up for Coquelin.
Absolutely unforgivable, that one.
Stan, you’ll miss the old boy 🙂
Lol its in the record books scott. We were smashed and I ve got the scars to prove it. Yet you want me to forget it?? Lol Scott what are you drinking??? Nigerian guiness??
You’re my hero then Rico. :).
Great day, everyone……catch you tomorrow 🙂
Do we currently have a replacement/back up for Ozil? Low was too kind to rest him and I see us playing him to the ground too.
Night Scott lol 😀
Agree Scott…
Really stupid to rely on Arteta and Flamini….
There you go Marshall 😀 he ll probably burn out by January and we’ll be fucked. Lol
🙂 Adam…
Night Scott, thanks again….
Ozil is on a mission to break the assist record so I’m confident he’ll stay fit. ?
Lee, I have met some of the biggest bullshitters and story tellers you could find anywhere, in cafes frequented by cabbies.
?
Marshall God forbid anything happens to Ozil…..
Santi is out for the rest of the season now who do you think the opposition will target henceforth? Stop ozil you stop arsenal ll be the battle cry from our opponents. When we had santi it was hard to shackle ozil because santi is equally dangerous but now we don’t have santi ozil ll be marked out of games and folks ll start getting on his back again. Poor bastard he just can’t catch a break.
Santi Marshall, but he’s crocked…. 🙁
Welcome Jamie, it’s all like an Arsenal merry-go-round…..
Rico, I agree re the DM but for the rest I do believe he thought he had enough. He hasn’t, of course, but the club has been really unfortunate with so many injuries, or do the conspiracy theorists have a case?
Incidentally, AFC have sent out a tweet :
Arsenal tribute to legendary fan
Football
Posted at 12:05
Arsenal have paid tribute to a “legendary” 90-year-old fan of the club, Ernie Crouch, who died after he was blown by the wind against a bus in north London on his way to Saturday’s match with Sunderland.
Arsenal tweeted: “Everyone at Arsenal Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong fan Ernie Crouch. May he rest in peace.”
According to fans on social media, he had supported Arsenal since 1934.
At least they have acknowledged his passing, whether they’ll do more, who knows? It would be a fitting tribute if they marked it in some more tangible way, a minutes silence or applause in recognition of a life dedicated to ‘his club’. Extraordinary.
Logic says we’ll find it harder to control the game as we did against United. Cazorla was sensational. I’m hoping Wilshere returns asap to fire us to the title. Ramsey has to step up too.
One tackle and he’s done. Our season in tatters. Lol let’s stop fooling ourselves. It’s going to happen. Sooner rather than later. Am under no illusions. Ozil ll be injured soon and that’s it. Season over.
I don’t know about Adam being blogger of the year, although he has my vote…
I also propose Adam as the;
Househusband of the Year….
Congratulations mate…. ?
Ditto kev 😀 husband of the year lol hahahahahaha
Hahahahahahah I read that all wrong kev. House husband??? Hahahahahahah that’s a new one. Hey Adam you have my vote mate 😀
Wavy, I reckon he thought he had enough too, shame someone didn’t tell him otherwise…
Thank you Kev. Mrs A is giggling about that one.
When is Tomas due back?
He could yet have an impact on the first team, Welbeck too if he comes back with a point to prove…
Welbeck on the right right now and we’d have a really quick front three… With Theo in the middle i mean, not Ollie… 😉
Welbeck will be back soon won’t he?
Welbeck??? Is he a DM adam??? Lol I believe that’s what we need right now. Flamini ll break down soon. He can’t play twice a week let alone 3 times then who do we play then? I guess micko and Lee are feisty enough to play through the middle. Lol
You’d think so Adam, Jack too..
Although he’s crap of course and only gets picked for England because the team is even more crap….
That was a fair summation of Wenger this summer Wavy…
I actually think he wanted to and tried to bring in a player or two, but that old mean streak got the better of him and he couldn’t push through any last minute deals when it went a bit Pete Tong…
Cech was an ok signing though…
We’ll get a DM in Jan goonie… 😉
Maybe AW will re-sign Denilson? lol
Lol rico that shanice was on the sauce last night wasn’t she? Denilson a great player?? Hahahahaha
I ll rather have Lee through the middle maam. He ll make a mean bastard and a local lad too. Lol.
Night Scott, good post btw…
Adam, I always try to curry favour with Mrs A, as you know, she makes a wonderful cup of tea, but has an intimidating stare…
I know my place… ???
https://youtu.be/4nnEe724C3k
On Ozil, shows how thin our squad really is. I wouldn’t count on JW cause he’s always a nick away back to treatment bay. Problem is Wenger would throw an inexperienced kid to cover (incase sh*t happens) while now he’d be resting Ozil in 70th min and give the kid some game time. That’s an are Wenger should look to fill in this window.
She must have been on something Goonie…
I’ve met Lee, reckon you are spot on… lol
Lol rico 😀
But who though Marshall, Jeff, Iwobi or someone else…
Kev and Rick are well informed on the reserves etc…
I’m a lover not a fighter!
Crowley rico. He’s the closest thing we have now to santi. He’s passing range is phenomenal for one so young.
Denilson could shoot! but a 2 min clip doesn’t tell the entire story of his career. Arsenal as a whole were shit back then.
Lee go on mate take the mantle and show those cnuts how’s done. I have huge faith in you buddy. Just crush John terry’s skull while you are at it. Make it appear like an accident but let him see you do it 😀
You said it Marshall. He was cringe worthy. Lol
Crowley for me Rico, Jeff is more of a winger and Iwobi as a stricker.
🙂 Lee..
Crowley it is then… 🙂
Good to see rico agreeing with me 😀 so this is what it feels like to be in your good books?? Nice 😀
Brudder Lee is charm and grace in human form.
You’re not often out of them goonster, well, not really… 😉
I can’t get up off the floor Adam…. lol
Funny you say that Rico. I almost fell asleep in the armchair just now. 🙂
“Brudder Lee is charm and grace in human form.”
Never a truer word said…
Not sure what happened with my previous two comments, anyway;
For Adam.
According to Physioroom.Com;
Arteta, Alexis & Jack, all back on 26th Dec.
Rosicky, 2nd Jan
Welbeck, 12th Jan
Coquelin, Feb 2016
Cazorla, Mat 2016
Life taking it’s toll Adam… lol
They are out now Kev..
I might need to resort to alternative stimuli Rico.
After I have cleaned the hall and kitchen floor that is.
Surely not Adam…..
A woman’s work is never done!
You two would have a laugh. While waiting for the floor to dry I made a sandwich and upon the first bite a huge dollop of pickle flew out and landed on my new shiny white T-shirt.
Spot on there Lee….
That made me laugh Brudder!
Hilarious Adam… 🙂
Oh how I’d love to be a fly on the wall……
Was it Branstons?
Or one you made earlier?
Branston or Piccalilli more importantly?
piccalilli > branston especially with corned beef and cheese!!!
What r u on rico goonster do tell is it the white stuff? Couldn’t be westmoreland weed. .. Who said denilson was great?? ? Im sure goonster is on the white stuff to even think wilshere is world class r will be. .
Mrs A, propped up in my usual spot on the sofa, tells me that I always destroy clothing with food contamination and suggests soaking it with some magic powder she has. I will find it under the sink apparently. She sees the funny side of the situation, just like you two. 🙂
I retain a dignified stoicism.
Denilson wasn’t great he wasn’t good he was turd!
It seems Brudder is on the white stuff…..
In order to remove that stain!
It was indeed Branston and now an initially undetected bit has slid down into my strides and attached itself to my pants. necessitating a complete change of clothing and more bloody washing.
🙂 Lee, there’s always washing to be done…
Cheese and Branston for me, nom nom…
Red Leicester and Cheddar grated with red onion and a little mayo is my fave….
No point in trying to back track Shanice… 😉
Who back tracking? ? I stand by my comment about denilson starting out good but faded away never to return to that level even got worse.. He was a good player when he started out at arsenal. .
And then the ironing!
It must be Monday – washday when I was a kid!
Well you are on your own with those thoughts….
How about a young man who as done well at all the clubs he gets loan out to. . Jon Toral who is not tiny lije dan crowley don’t be bias because he isnt full english.. He half english.. .he deserves it more than Crowley who cannot replace cazorla r cover for him because he is not a box to box player he doesn’t tackle either so how will he cover foe santi do tell goonster and rico
Ironing Wavy? Do people do that any more….?
I say recall toral he also came with a bigger rep than bellerin from barca
I have a stack of ironing waiting Rico. 🙂
Shanice, you are pushing your luck on here assuming people base their views about players because they are English. Utter bollox and for your information, Goonster is not English, just in case you think that’s the reason he rates jack!
We are all intelligent enough to base our opinions on what we see each game….
Have you actually seen Toral play Shanice??
Did mine yesterday Adam….. 🙂
Im on my own here awww. .96 games is with me. u17 brazil captain. Joined arsenal at 18 left at 25
There you go Rico. I have yet to master the wonders of the steam iron myself. 🙂
Wavy. Are you a London boy?
Ok so what have u seen of Crowley to even suggest he can cover for santi?? ??
And?? Doesn’t mean he was any god. Heck, even a referee could out run him and that’s saying something….
Fergie worries Jurgen Klopp more with their potential rising.
He said he will never allowed and can not let liverpool get above them.
Talking about the old nemesis rivalry clubs.
Hope the spuds will still be spuds always, never let them finish above us.
Maybe that’s one thing for sure that could make wenger sacked. LOL.
In the real world ppl have there biases. ..
I always had you down as a steam iron Brudder….
Thank you Brudder.
I don’t steam Adam, spray is best for me.. 😉
Shanice, I didn’t say Crowley could, Goonster and Marshall did and perhaps they have seen him play. Certainly more than you….
In fact I don’t even know why I am bothering. Why not find somewhere else to troll…..??
Denilson was shit….
I know of the criticism he got how he was slow and pass sideways mostly.
With a capital S…
Exactly, he was very very average and should have been sold long before he went imo….
Again my birth country is the reason u think they have seen more than i have lol. . Sad for u. Troll im not trolling
Rico. It always seems a waste to have a modern steam iron with knobs, buttons and water vessels onboard and then use a spray. But I think I will go that way as the steam iron seems close to being dangerous to me with its hissing, gurgling and ejecting of super-heated water droplets at high velocity.
afternoon rico and the hou
denilson was that good he is now selling pineapples on the beech in Rio
Garbage Shanice, anyone can view the Arsenal player….
I did make it to the fa cup final two years in a row enough said there. .. Why is wilshere not sold?? ? Injury prone average player isnt he?? ?aww lol.
Ha ha Adam, exactly why I went back to spray. Irons kept throwing everything out including black stuff….
Again my birth country is the reason u think they have seen more than i have lol. . Sad for u. Troll im not trolling….
What the fuck has where you are born got anything to do with football?
Look at Scott he’s from Australia….
And I’m from the sticks…..
And we tolerate Scott don’t we? 🙂
Just about… 😉 Poor old Scott….
Well, some of us anyway. 🙂
Yea anyone of course. How much match have u been to this year rico?
Walk time for me so catch up in a bit….
Adam, born E17 bred E4 emigrated to the midlands in mid twenties! 1920’s??!! My mid twenties! Lady Wavy is a dab hand with the steam iron. Would you like me to send her down the motorway for a few days? I’m due a bit of respite care!
Does anybody actually want to win the title this season? And if so who?
I think this bloke James Whaling opinion in Mirror is much reasonable than the other writer’s opinions as excerpted:
“I’ve never known a season be quite so open – and it is great for the neutral.
It isn’t a case of teams not wanting to win the title, but each side has fundamental flaws which are contributing towards their inconsistencies. It could be a record low amount of points to take glory in May.”
Hmmm…interesting.
Wavy. Isn’t that Walthamstow? Not far from here. And I eat in Station Road, Chingford E4 quite often.
Please send her straight down. 🙂
Ask rico she keep saying they av seen more than i have. Ask her why she assumed they have adam? ? I figured its because im Jamaican because she doesn’t know me otherwise. . Plus rico y r u not tell your fellow bloggers that denilson was good in my opinion? ? U jump to tell me goonster opinion was that wilshere would be world class. Didn’t u?
Orfevrerie. It’s the money I think. The more you give these fuckers, the less effort they put in.
Yes Rico, why is that?
Right on both counts.
Last time I went through E4, Station Road was largely charity shops, eateries and estate agents! Where have all the shops gone?
Wavy. Opposite the bus station is a lovely little Thai called Patpong. That end is full of restaurants but the rest is as you say. Walthamstow is undergoing something of a gentrification.
Hard to believe I know. House prices in Chingford are mental.
Adam,
maybe, these players wages is beyond belief eh…
maybe I could work my arse off till my retirement just to match 3 months wages of Wilshere or ramsey, and they are even work on daily basis match, but mostly in crocked center room.
Afternoon all.
I would rather break Wenger’s in half. The first half at Highbury, the presence in the side, the board and most of all the trophies. The second half at The Emirates and all that entailed, new majority share holder, selling our best players and yet keeping us in the top 4, yet the last three years there has been gradually more and more money, many buys haven’t worked ot, we have generally no real physical presence and no leader.
Wenger wanted a replica of Barcelona but it was never going to happen. Now he stumbled on Coqulin and brought him back by default but the world and it’s dog knew what we needed in the Summer and at a minimum all we got was Cech.
We are a top club but as many of us think and know,we aren’t consistent, haven’t been for years and Wenger must take a good proportion of the blame and he has aged and too an extent the game is passing him by and he is too set in his ways.
Support I always will, but my expectations for the time being remain low .Amen 😉
should read Wenger’s tenure in half 😉
The more money that’s pumped into the PL the more it costs the fans and the worse the football gets. If I could be bothered I would produce a detailed graph and publish it here to be ridiculed.
That was very close to where I lived, almost next to the Plain. Before I left the were more than several tea rooms and restaurants that had opened up in the stretch from the post office to the bus terminus, well, Station. A nd Roy King,s sports shop! Next to the building that housed Chingford Golf Club . Ah happy days!
Kelsey mate,
maybe Xhaka-Le Coq pairing will add the physical presence for our play.
Interesting duo IMO, remind me a little bit of Petit-Viera.
Xhaka and Aubameyang for this jan window, please Ze arsene, pretty please?
Currently I would like him to retire gracefully simply because of his clear inability to see inherent weaknesses in his squad. For the past 3 summers we have not bought the players we needed. Starting last season with just 2 experienced CB’s was insane and predictably resulted in us dropping too many points before we could rectify the issue in January. He knew before the previous season ended that we would lose both TV and Sagna, yet he failed to replace them properly. Debuchy had never played CB so Chambers, with 13 EPL games, mostly at RB, was our 3rd choice CB.
Arsene has still not addressed the DM situation as he was forced to try Le Coq and he still considers the failed experiments of Arteta and Flamini at DM as good enough. Saturdays game should be a wake up call for Arsene because what I saw was the same Arsenal pre Le Coq. Ramsey (or Jack) charging up-field with no consideration for defence, leaving a slow Flamini (or Arteta) to get by passed with ease.
Arsene cost us a serious shot at the title last season and could very possibly do the same this time because of his refusal to buy another defensively minded midfielder. Quite honestly if we don’t win the league this season he has to go.
As to who replaces him, well there you have me. I wanted Klopp but we missed that boat. Pep is not an option as he said he isn’t looking for a long term project. The only thing I can say with any certainty is it won’t be Maureen.
Allan, you’re right.
This season is a must or a bust for arsene.
Next season would be another major overhaul with the likes coming of:
– Pep to Man City
– Carlo to Man utd,
and Klopp with liverpool….
can you imagine the chances with the same old stubborn wenger odds compared to those mentioned above?
good grief.
Allan. I find it hard to argue with a lot of that. The positive side is that he has bought some good or even great players but he probably hasn’t bought enough of them, or at the right time.
With our injured players back we have a strong squad.. We just have to stay with the pack until January then buy that dm and possible strike <not so sure we will buy a striker thou.. . Front three of welbeck walcott/giroud sanchez is not bad thou.
Bio Tex for stubborn stains Adam… ?
I was laughing so much at ‘Picklegate’ that I almost knocked over a cyclist…
It was like Laurel and Hardy for a few minutes Kev. 🙂
Afternoon all, it’s turned chilly out there…
Adam, re your earlier, I don’t know why, and I always use soft water but still the gunk keeps coming out…
Shanice, are you still rambling on about being hard done by….. dearie me….
Vanish in our house or at least that’s what I do at the mention of washing and more so with the word, ironing!
‘Pickle gate”! Mmm, like it.
It was like ” Carry on Highbury House….” I had Stan down as Charles Hawtrey.
I reckon it’s the mud from the nearby River Thames oozing outward, through the ground, yet being filtered by the limestone deposits from the Thames basin, rendering the black stuff invisible to the naked eye. Then, while being blasted in the iron to the super-heated temperature of a Red dwarf it reacts with the aluminium water chamber within the device and the gunk coalesces through some obscure form of osmosis into the very substance that is an unwanted by product of the whole ironing process Rico.
Ha ha Lee, I like that…
You are form today Adam…. lol
Sorry Rico. I was limbering up for a tiny piece of work there. 🙂
What’s next for you today Adam, dinner?
Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me.
Bang on Rico. Just sorting it now.
Adam is currently having the sofa surgically removed from his derierre!

Adam, Rico lol who would be sorry for that Portuguese pig. I hope he has nightmares as words come back to bite him. We should feel blessed- for those who are religious- Mou can never bring the rot to arsenal.
Thank goodness Marshall.. Looks like his childish behaviour after the Comm Shield has come back to bite him on his butt….
