No sooner has Poldi been sold off the papers are now setting their sights on a bit of gossip on who will be next out of the door at Arsenal.
We know Santi Cazorla has a year left on his contract so 2+2 means he could be sold. Ath Madrid are said to be interested and with Turan looking to leave its a swap deal in the making or a straight sale. We all know the papers struggle this time of the year for stories so any player with a year left on a contact is fair game for stories and headlines on moving on.
We have plenty other players I’d rather were moved on before Santi and I also don’t want Monreal to leave either.
This squad is close to being very competitive the last thing we now want is to go backwards and weaken it. I always say I don’t care who leaves as long as they replaced by better players but in my mind we must keep the quality core and Santi and Nacho are both in the core of players to keep and add to.
If we bring in the oh so needed defensive midfielder anyone quality player would be a bonus in my view. I think we have 3/4 players on the periphery of the first team that could make the all important step up and for a few pre-season is the time to shine and show they could be ready.
Do we need a winger… do we really need a striker..? lots say yes and many say no only the Boss knows what he wants to do and over the next few weeks we will surely find out what he plans. Is it to be three years running of a superstar signing or just 2 more solid signings to add to the world class keeper we now have..?

Wenger likes to barter and get value for money in my mind if he thinks Santi is open to leaving for Spain on a free at the end of his current contract I think he’d consider using him now to try and get a better deal for someone else….
