Arsene Wenger to take a risk on injured winger? Cohesion, togetherness and commitment can win the day…

Morning all.

Apparently, Arsene Wenger has his eye on signing Ajax’s Viktor Fischer.

The 21 year old winger has scored 5 goals in 13 matches for his club and is valued around the £10m mark. He suffered a hamstring injury back in 2014 which kept him out of the game for nearly a year having had surgery but now he’s fit and firing. Well, he’s fit! What to make of that I don’t know but it sure would be good having an out and out winger in the side, if that’s what he is and he can’t be all bad if Ajax signed him.. Oh hang on, Yaya…..

Mathieu Debuchy is wanted by Italian giants Juventus, according to Football Italia and could make a move for him in January.

Ok, match day and it’s a big one as the league leaders head to The Emirates.

It’s been many years, too many, since we beat Utd in the league. In fact so many I can’t recall the last time we actually beat the at home – we had a great victory at their place last season in the FA Cup but at home this season, we are having a dreadful time. The boys have managed just one victory so far in front of their home fans which is really poor, especially considering the teams we have played and going back further, just two of our last seven at home have resulted in victories. That’s not league winning form is it!

Up until last Saturday, scoring goals was a real problem which is hard to believe when one looks at the players on show but Alexis got off the mark, Walcott continued his scoring run and we bagged five good goals. We need a few more today. De Gea will be hard to beat but not impossible. They need to shoot at every given opportunity and not straight at De Gea as they did last season, test him early, test him often and one or two will go in….

Mata, Martial and even Rooney have to be marked out of the game, Gary Neville has already told the players what they can expect from those three so if they have any sense at all, they’d have taken note. Coquelin will have a midfield battle on his hands but it’s one he and Santi can win if they are in the right frame of mind.

Merts and Gabriel have to take control of set-pieces at the back and the entire team have to be focussed and on the ball from start to finish. If they switch off as they did on Tuesday, they’ll be punished hard.

Walcott, Ramsey/OC and Alexis have to get at their back line and Ozil needs to show he can shoot, and score! If Giroud starts ahead of Walcott, we have to give him better service. He’s big and strong in the air, find his head with the crosses and he’s likely to score. Well, maybe.. lol

We have the players, they just need to be at the top of their game. As does Arsene Wenger. If it’s not working, he shouldn’t be afraid to change it, t do something and not just sit and watch the game go by getting up only to remonstrate with the 4th official. Bould too, there’s no point in him sitting their shaking his head, he has get behind this team from the sidelines.

Arsene Wenger:

Without home form, you don’t win the championship, that’s for sure.

We have a big game at home and the advantage is to win the big game at home. It’s the first massive game for the top of the table. It’s at home and you want to win.

We hear a lot about cohesion, collective spirit, mental attitude etc etc, well where’s it been? This group of players aren’t suddenly rubbish and it’s about time they rolled up their sleeves and played with a bit more passion and fire in their bellies.

It’s Utd at home, it’s Arsenal against the league leaders and it’s time we beat them on our own turf!

COYRRG’S!!!

JM, we have one, but Wenger keeps playing Aaron wide 🙂
The Wallabies have a coach that players simply want to play for…..a pre game talk from him to the Arsenal boys wouldn’t go astray.
3-1, Aaron to bag a hat trick.
    Morning all.

2-1 to the Arsenal. Alexis and Walcott…….again!

It will be long, it will be hard and it will be emotional! But we will come out on top!

    Good post Rico…

    May I add…

Which Arsenal Will Line Out Today?

The one that was so pathetic against Dinamo Zagreb? The one that gifted Olympiacos an unmerited win? The one that lost their heads against Chelsea and lost a match they shouldn’t? The one that was so mediocre against West Ham? Take this home – if we ever see any of those Arsenal today, Man U will whitewash them even at The Emirates.

In the other hand, if we see the Arsenal that played Leicester, Stoke, Crystal Palace, then the match will be worth watching. Problem is…these days it’s difficult to predict the Arsenal to expect until 10 minutes into the game.

Something is so worrisome about this season’s Arsenal…this team had a very good pre-season…this team did not lose any first team player…this team added Petr Cech, effectively improved with the acquisition of Gabriel Paulista last January…this team suddenly got a solid defensive midfielder since Alex Song in Francis Coquelin. Why is this team currently under performing? Perhaps Arsene Wenger alone knows the answer.

While many teams tinkered with their squad, Arsenal kept hers intact…at the start of the season, they are supposed to have kicked off on fire, waiting till other teams blend to catch up…instead it’s huffing and puffing all the way.

Today, Arsenal have their biggest test of the season yet. Manchester United have surprisingly kicked off their season in grand style…having overhauled their team, one expected a difficult start but instead they’ve scrapped through wins, got the desired confidence along the way and suddenly looking quite solid. And forget about the recent coming of Chelsea and their billions, no other team in England dominates Arsenal like Man U. It doesn’t matter which team they parade, coach or venue, Man U perpetually humble Arsenal to submission.

Today, it’s all prayers as dear Gunners fans hope for those rare occasions when Arsenal get one over their once- bitterest rivals. It’s not that Arsenal lack playing personnel. Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Santi Carzola, Coquelin, Cech, Theo Walcott are some of the reasons why this Arsenal team can bomb any other side on a good day. But this is Man U.

With Wayne Rooney, who loves scoring against Arsenal, Juan Mata, who has equally scored four and assisted two in his seven games against Arsenal, latest sensation Anthony Martial, who already assisted a goal in his only visit to the Emirates, the Man U band is coming with some fearsome pedigree. Add Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Michael Carrick, hard-to-beat David De Gea, new Ronaldo, Memphis Depay and the new solid pair of Danny Blind and Chris Smalling in central defense …then understand dear Gunners have their works cut out!

Let the song begin…dear God, give us this day.

    COYG.

Scott 😀 Aaron and hatrick are two words that don’t go hand in hand especially the current Aaron 😀

  6. rico says:

    Morning Goonster, Adam.

Tai, if they turn up in the same mindset as Tuesday, we’ll get battered. AW has apparently laid into the players so I’m expecting a response. A big one.

  7. tsgh says:

    Good read Rico.

Who will AW start with upfront seeing as when Olympiakos set out to defend in the 2nd half, Theo was a passenger.

  8. Micko says:

Big game today rico, my money’s on Everton.

Can anyone remember the last time Ramsey scored for us, I can’t, good time to break his duck.

  9. Goonster says:

I need both my teams to show up today. My God what are the odds of both playing their arch nemesis on the same day. I just know I ll be needing a drink today. Thank God I already sent brianna away for the weekend. God help me. Look at my limbs quaking. I

  10. Tai says:

Rico, Ts…I never in, my wildet imagination, anticipate our struggles at this stage. Something is deeply wrong…and I don’t know what. Don’t tell me it’s players because we have enough quality to be better, much better than we presently are.

  11. tsgh says:

lol Goonie. i feel you buddy. No mention of the original team who claim to never ‘walk alone’ though. 😉

I have one eye on that game. A P.E.A goal plus 2 Mk’taryan assist will do me fine.

  12. Goonster says:

Tai you re enough to make a man shit himself. I just reread your post again and I think I just shit myself. What are you doing to me man??? Listing those players only increased my anxiety. My God Shrek and his band of northern pigs are coming for us. God help me.

  13. tsgh says:

Tai- our form is not too bad.

I agree UCL form is abysmal but we have had a poor home form for 4 years now…; the stats are there to back it up..

  14. scottfromoz says:

Stan, he’s not the same player, but he isn’t playing the same position, either.
We can beat them if the payers believe it…simple.
It’s all down to confidence, and work rate.

  15. Goonster says:

Scotty oz my knees are weak. If I a fan 3000km away is not confident of a victory. What do you think ll be going through the players mind?? Wish this game was at old bog. We ve been found out at home. My God Shrek ll score again. He ll break my heart and plunge me into a week of depression. Jesus christ in heaven give me strength.

  16. allezkev says:

    Afternoon All…

Rick, did you see that Willock Jnr has signed his contract, so we’ve got both brothers tied to the club for now…

Good to see The Jeff fit and back in training.
The way our injuries are going he’s gonna get a run of games soon.
He’s a much better prospect than Campbell anyway!

Off to the game today, so have a good one.

  17. Tai says:

Goonster…didn’t mean to upset ya…but I’m always a student of history. I just pray today becomes one of those odd days…otherwise, we end up moaning yet again. Right now, I’d gladly take a draw. Dear Gunners, please prove me wrong.

  18. Tai says:

Come to think of it…many, if not most, of us here didn’t bother about the UCL…they even wanted us to drop into the Europa…be careful what you wish for!!!!

  19. potter says:

Goonie calm down mate take a chillpill or something , chamomile tea works apparently but so does a bottle of Bacardi. Today is evenly balanced , if we move the ball quickly throughout we will come strong in the last 20 minutes, if they get the first and shut up shop we will revert to pass , pass and will suffer the consequences. Lets hope it’s a last gasp winner in our favour . 1 – 0 , 3 points , lets go home will do for me.

  20. tsgh says:

Walcott or Giroud? Who starts today, we will hear that before every game this season. I will go with Giroud at home as team normally sit tight when they visit Emirates & use Theo away when we need to break on the counter.

  21. Goonster says:

Ts can we not go back into that debate 😀 rico and wath said to drop it. No one to replace arsene? ? You re having a laugh.

  22. Goonster says:

I ll go with Ollie too ts but walcott on the right to whip the balls in. Sanchez on the left. Ozil on the bench. Rambo and lecoq at the base. Santi in the hole. The back 4 picks itself. That team ll turn the mancs over but we all know rambo on the wings. Bummer.

  23. Nashua Gunner says:

    Good Afternoon Rico and All.

Interesting summary of Arsenal, good read.

What we do need are 10 Alexis Sanchez in the pitch. We loss the ball by giving it away today, that player should go after it.

Every team knows if you can soak up Arsenal’s pressure for the first 15 minutes, then Arsenal get frustrated and start giving the ball away with strays passes.

  24. Nashua Gunner says:

Goonster, I like your lineup. No one should think that they have a permanent position, when they are not putting the effort they should be drop to the bench. Loss the ball you should make an effort to try and recover it back.

  25. Goonster says:

Nasher that line up ll give them something to think about. Pace and power upfront. I have no confidence in the team and wenger hope am proven wrong though. Can’t lose both matches today. I ll be devastated.

  26. Goonster says:

Nasher most bloggers on here know sanchez is not my cup of tea. He loses the ball too much credit to him he recovers it back but his touches and passes makes me want to tear my eyes out. Good player but appalling to watch sometimes. My opinion by the way 😀

  27. rico says:

Afternoon Ng. Couldn’t agree more re having another few Alexis in the side, AW could do well to sign a few more with his work ethic…

  28. rico says:

Goonster, I just don’t see a lot wrong in Alexis, he works his socks off each game and he’s one of a few who try to get hold of the game and make a difference.

  29. Goonster says:

We love arsenal we do we love you arsenal we do we love you arsenal we do arrrrsenal we love you 😀 am so scared guys. I hate losing to these scums. Poop and chavski I can stomach but manure??? No way. I hate those cum sucking bastards. Come on lads make my day. Let’s smash these cnuts. Yeeeeeeaaaaaah. Am do close to shitting myself. God help me.

  30. tsgh says:

Neville: “If Man U don’t win League I hope it’s #afc. I respect everything Wenger has done. They’re a fantastic club with great traditions.”

  31. Goonster says:

I saw the list and lost it. Why on earth ll Diarra make the team ahead of coquelin? It makes no sense. Just shows you how low we ve fallen. Only OG and kozzer in the French team from us. That’s outrageous.

  32. tsgh says:

Ajax is my team too but Cocu I like so..

Kosser is out of french squad due to injury.

SC19,Le Coq, Ramsey, Ozil, Gabriel, per start. Debuchy, Chambers, J Campbel, Ospina on bench.

  33. tsgh says:

United: De Gea, Young, Smalling, Blind, Darmian, Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Mata, Rooney, Memphis, Martial

Us: cech, Bel, nancho, gabriel, per
    Coq, SC19, Ramsey,
    Ozil, Theo, AS17

  34. tsgh says:

You are right Goonie; we have fallen behind in quality.Le coq is not called up because only Arsenal fans rate Le Coq…

Le coq can’t compare to any of the Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye (Crystal Palace), Morgan Schneiderlin (Manchester United), Blaise Matuidi (PSG), Paul Pogba (Juventus), Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle United), Lassana Diarra (Olympique de Marseille)

  35. Goonster says:

Ts I loved matuidi from St Etienne back in the day (or was it toulouse ) he had everything in his locker to be a beast figuratively and am so glad he’s still considered a good player. So sad we ve missed out on some of the best french players in the last generation but you re right coquelin ll never make that french team as long as the likes of matuidi king Kong et al are available. He might just be another arteta. So sad.

  36. Goonster says:

Howdy MG I hope we do my good man but I don’t see it. We re too predictable. Same team every game. Am hoping alexis show up today. Am not his biggest fan but even I can’t deny what he brings to the team. Hopefully we are up for this.

  37. tsgh says:

Still goonie- Imagine James Milner being our highest paid player. What a terrible football club LFC has become.

Still media say he was the best summer buy… 😛

  38. Goonster says:

Milner is an odd one ts. I like what he brings to the team. He never stops running. His work rate wirh alexis’ could have lifted us to another level but highest paid??? No chance. Good player but not worth the money he is on.

  39. Goonster says:

Fuck them ts we don’t need them. We can handle our own protest. Stay away from everything manure. As their name Implies they stink 😀

  40. Nashua Gunner says:

Where can we find player like Romario who operates in tight places when team park the bus. It’s really hard to break down defense when team comes to the Emirate and park the bus and try to beat us on the counter.

  41. Goonster says:

Which is why we deploy a new tactic nasher. Let them have the ball the ball and when we get it move it quickly and hit them on the counter. Sheesh even my pet monkey knows the solution to our problems at the emirates.

  42. Malaga gooner says:

If I had the wings of a sparrow

If i had the arse of a crow

    I’d fly over Manchester tomorrow

And shit on the wankers below

  43. tsgh says:

Neville can tell as a proper football man that SC19 is the deepest lying footballer. The rest of media can’t see it like that. lol

  44. tsgh says:

SC19. making all the successful defensive stats his own as well…

Scott- Roll call. Some AW bashers missing. lol

  45. Goonster says:

Ts how many interceptions has he made today? Wow. I lost count but I think he has made more than coquelin 😀

  46. tsgh says:

Goonie- Tuchel and the boys looking good at the moment… still 0-0 though

Coq needs to watch Bastian. He is making some intelligent runs of the ball

  47. Goonster says:

Ts don’t let rico bin us. We ll talk about dortmund when she sleeps. You know she’s an early bird 😀

  48. Goonster says:

From shitting myself to kreaming all over 😀 lord God in heaven talk about flying without wings 😀 come on you fucking gunners 😀 yeaaaaaaaaaah

  49. Goonster says:

Hahahahahahah Harry kane just scored the goal of the season guys 😀 against his own team that is 😀 what a cnut.

  50. agirlagunner says:

Midnight here, Rico and this fangirl has been shrieking like mad. Neighbors can call the cops whatevs. I don’t care! ?

  51. andrewh1313 says:

Great so far. Hope we don’t get caught sitting back on what we have. Signs at end of first half. Shame Darnian off, be good running at two full backs with bookings.

  52. agirlagunner says:

Ts, I missed that. It would have madame so happy. ? Rico, unfortunately, yes. Scott, we deserve it after that Champions League disaster. ?

  53. tsgh says:

AS17 was in the red 10 or so days back…

We need him fit before and after the international break…; Aw may need to make a change in 10 minutes imo…

  54. Kel says:

Absolutely delighted Well done Arsenal, finally turned up in a big game against utd in th PL, hard to pick a man of the match Alexis or Cazorla for me, cech was also excellent today safe hands on a few high balls and Crosses he brings a reassuring calmness to the defense.

  55. Goonster says:

Theo for me man of the match 😀 he’s won his spot and olie should come off the bench henceforth. Wow what a performance from him. Shame he didn’t get a goal. That ll do his confidence some good. Come on you gunners 😀

  56. rico says:

Definitely ran Alexis close, best game in an Arsenal shirt for years, great to see him getting stuck in and chasing the ball down…

  57. Malaga gooner says:

Rico the team and the fans turned up today

Told ya we’d do it goonie, we had everything today

  58. Tai says:

Thank you dear Gunners for proving me wrong.

Everything about the game was class. That’s eight goals in two games…who then needs a striker? Definitely not Wenger!

  59. Hell Raising Devil says:

    Good Evening Lovelies and Hunkies.

After 3 minutes the possession was 100% in favour of Arsenal. Yep you read that right. 100%. United players had not done a single pass.

It was like a dream. watching our team tearing apart Manure. I have not even seen that from the Invincibles.

The ball was like a blur.

some points……Our 1st 11 are by far the best team in the EPL. Yes shitty included.

it is blatantly obvious that AW and the team want the EPL OVER any other trophy. Yes even the CL. Do not be surprised to see AFC finish bottom of the group or 3rd which will put us in the Europa league. If we participate in the latter expect AW to field young players and those who do not play that much in the first team.

I have been saying it even before the season began….AW is after the EPL. He does not care about the CL this year. He knows that we are various players short of winning it. But he also knows that the squad we have, Arteta, Flamini etc included is good enough for the EPL.

We lost the game vs the Chavs because of the ref who did the wrong decisions. We should have won that game.

final point…..after the first two games I asked everyone to talk after 7 games have been played. Its the eight game and we are just two points off the top. Before anyone gives me various reasons which honestly send even the most ardent Wengerout to sleep, we should talk after 15 games have been played.

honestly…..people who let their imagination wander before trying to understand make me sick.

And yes …..I am happy that we thumped that lot 3-0. not because of the three points. But at least it shuts people up.

  60. Adam says:

Just got home. Superb afternoon. The Emirates was rocking. Poor, poor refereeing by Taylor though. He let Schweinsteiger and Fellaini get away with far too much.
So, Brenda’s gleaming teeth will be absent from the Liverpool bench. Such a shame. :):)

  61. rico says:

I don’t think people let their minds wander Devil, the simply talk about how they feel. It was a superb performance today but there’s still a long way to go before I’ll believe AW has got this team back on track….

  62. Hell Raising Devil says:

    you are right Rico.

but there is a difference between stating how a person feels and making a statement.

A feeling is neutral….its neither good nor bad.

A statement which is made in the heat of the moment is not a feeling.

yes there is a long way to go. But credit is where credit due……when the team looses AW gets the blame. When we win he should get the praise. Something which usually escapes those who often criticise.

  63. rico says:

Didn’t you just make a statement Devil… Lol

I think AW will get a lot of credit, but then so should the players as when they are in the right frame of mind, as they were today, they perform….

I’m one who has often lumped the blame in the players and I think today shows that it’s been justified….

  64. Adam says:

It had most things Rico. We were quick and decisive. Man Utd weren’t. That has to be close to Theo’s best game for us. Too many notable performances to run through, but a special mention for my man Monreal. 🙂

  65. rico says:

Agree re Theo Adam, his chase back and the tackle showed just how much his work ethic had improved. As you say, too many to mention, in fact apart from Gabriel’s one lapse, I thought everyone was superb. Shame Ollie and OC didn’t put the icing on the cake late on…

  66. andrewh1313 says:

Amazing what confidence can do, even for a player of Sanchez’s standing. Were my eyes deceiving me, Walcott actually with back to goal, shielding and laying off! Go Theo☺

  67. Adam says:

Right on Rico. It was a great afternoon and I swear that I saw Ollie explode into a jog just before the end too.
Martial is impressive close up I must say.

  68. Lee says:

    Klopp’s got a 3yr deal at Liverpool allegedly….
What a cracking win that was!?!?
Belated congratulations to Scott and his Wallabies, they gave England a rugby lesson last night!

  69. rico says:

Wonder what he’ll do with them, can’t be worse than Rogers. I’d hoped Rogers would get a big more time to really muck up…

  70. Lee says:

I thought Theo was outstanding today, if he can play like that for the rest of the season we’ll be bloody close to some more silverware!

  71. Lee says:

I’m not 100% convinced about Klopp, seems a bit of nutter to me.
After Advocaat getting binned it all snowballed…. 😆

  72. kel says:

just how important was that win at OT in the cup last season, as someone said earlier utd turned up today in a different mindset knowing we could beat them.

  73. kel says:

we did indeed if only we could start most of are games with that intensity we really would be a force to be reckoned with…

lets hope this result pushes this team on.

klopp for liverpool then… imo i think they are a perfect match he will make them a force again imo.

  74. Micko says:

Bad day for the Cockney Reds lol.

Devil, toe the line like the rest of us peasants and judge him in May.

International break, we just had one for Gawds sake, you off on your hols again rico.

  75. Rick says:

    evening All,
Just returned after a great family day out to celebrate my Grand Daughters and Great Grand daughters birthdays (Both on same day)
Arrived home to find that we won 3-0 and Brenda was sacked.
Looking forward to seeing it tonight and reading Kev’s thoughts.

  76. Marshall says:

Hi all! What a good game it was. Rico its like the guys heard you, they hit DeGea early and the first 3 shots won us the game.

Love how our flair won is the first half and displine won us the second and the game. Did anyone notice how Theo hassled for the ball? Your boy Rico is hanging around Alexis too much which is a good thing. Ozil turned up too, Per kept things calm, Petr was neat all through. everyone put in work.

Sad Sanchez had to come off with a groin niggle but what do you expect after he drilled a new one into the Manchester utd’s defence? 🙂 cheers to the good times. Goodnight all.

  77. potter says:

One way to get the crowd behind you is to start like that and bring them to their feet. If we played with that intensity there would be no need for AKB’S or WOBS

  78. scottfromoz says:

    Morning all.
Lee, I’m not lying when I tell you I’m happier about the Arsenal won than I was the Wallabies.
I was happy during the rugby, but ecstatic during the Arsenal.
Sean woke up to watch it as well, so that made it even better.
    What a performance.
    Stunning.
We attacked and simply stuck it to them from the start.
Is it accurate to say the first two times De Gea touched the ball was to pick it out of the net?
I’m celebrating and rejoicing in that performance, but in the back of mind lingers a question.
Is it a performance like the CL one that frustrates us more, or this one?
    Talk about extremes.
Devil could well be right about Wengers ambitions this season.
Until you are the champions of your country, I’d defies logic that you can be European champions, so I hope that truly is Wemgers plan.
    What a performance.
    Incredible.
The attacks was just brilliant, but our defence was terrific as well.
Yes, UTD created some decent chances, but they always will, so do keep them to nil was sensational.
    Brilliance, pure brilliance.
Klopp and Ancelotti are the names linked with the Scousers.
    Who cares though 🙂

  79. allezkev says:

Rick, it seems that our players possibly need to be bollocked more often by Wenger.

    Congrats to your G/Daughter & GG/Daughter btw…

There was a really positive feel around the ground, pre match, not sure if Mourinho losing again lightened the mood Rick, but I certainly failed to pick up any bad vibes around the place. The Media would have been bitterly disappointed by that.

ManU aren’t a poor side, by any means, they have some really good players, but we just blew them away in the early part of the game and they never really recovered.

Coquelin was immense as was BFG who played an intelligent game against tricky opponents. Martial only had one good chance and he needed to foul BFG to create it. A poor miss by the officials.

Theo was perpetual motion, Sanchez was majestic and Ozil pulled the strings, it was a complete performance and the players owed Wenger that, especially after the Press campaign to undermine him.

Gotta say that Giroud looks as if he’s sulking. I might be wrong and it might just be a lack of confidence, but I wish he would fcuking ‘man up’ instead of playing with an attitude….

Cech was brilliant, he has that Seamanesque quality of spreading calm when all about him are losing their heads.
What a wonderful professional he is…

Special mention to our superb full-backs.
    Both exceptional…

    Night All…

  80. rico says:

    Potter was right.

Headlines this morning should be about Arsenal, instead it’s all Rogers and Klopp. Still, nothing can take that result away, not even the press… 😉

    Morning all…

  81. rico says:

Marshall, good to see the shooting boots on eh… lol

Let’s hope Walcott hangs around Alexis for many more years…. It’s funny really, said the other day that if I was one of the players watching AW interview on Friday, I’d be livid and take a bit of responsibility on the pitch. From what TW said after the game, seems the players got together as a group without AW and decided enough was enough…

  82. Adam says:

Morning Rico and all. Surely a degree of consistency is needed. Where each player finds the motivation is individual and part of their footballing ”thing’ but I hope we don’t have to take shocking losses and performances to fire them up this season.
Reading through the papers and especially Arsenal chubster John ‘man of straw’ Cross, it seems as though he wasn’t at the same game as I was yesterday or perhaps he had over indulged. What a crass little creep he is. Exactly the sort of writer (?) that Mourinho loves to intimidate and bully. I so wish he would switch his attention to that rabble and document the mental disintegration of a disgusting man.

  83. Kel says:

Morning. So Alexis has a slight groin injury yet still going to play for Chile against Brazil on Friday? Surely if he’s injured even slightly he should not play.

  84. rico says:

Morning Adam, I’d like to think Tuesday was the worst and now these players realise that not al wrong is down to the manager. They showed what work ethic gets, and now they need to play like that most matches. There’s little excuse now really…

JC gave Santi a 6 for his game, passing sloppy he said! Idiot.

  85. tsgh says:

    Morning Rico, Adam and all,

This sums it up best ”Where each player finds the motivation is individual..”

I see the Brenda apologist are out in force on the radio… 😛

Now Klopp the so called dippers fan will see he is another AW ‘wannabe’

  86. Adam says:

Morning TS. It’s performances like yesterday and especially the first half that keeps the faithful coming back for more. We like to think that Arsenal represents the best of what football and sport has to offer just as Chelsea and that douchebag represent the very worst.
I would have thought that Ancelloti would be a safer bet for the scouters but Klopp is, apparently, a genius. 🙂

  87. rico says:

    Morning Ts..

Has he actually travelled Lee? I didn’t know that.

Maybe the Chilean medical team are better than ours.. 😉

  88. tsgh says:

Well said Adam. It was like watching a Cruyff Barca team in the first half at times…; football at its finest it must be said.

The second half was also about us showing resolution…
    For me its the highs and lows that make supporting Arsenal such an experience…;
And as you have judged, a sadist like me has to balance it out by supporting a team that will lose 500 miles away. 😛

Well as for Klopp, he is a character. I appreciate his 2 title wins for BVB but even when his former club was making its way to the UCL final, die ‘harders’ were calling for him to be sacked as far back as 3 season ago.
He claims to be a ‘looserpool’ fan so lets hope he makes it 23 years and counting for another EPL title…
