Morning all.
What is the footballing world coming to, the player of the month nominations have been made and there’s no room on that list for Aaron Ramsey. Team-mate Olivier Giroud is on it though so he’s out there fighting the Arsenal corner. As is Arsene Wenger who is in with a chance of winning manager of the month.
Transfer gossip:
The Daily Mail report that Arsene Wenger is planning to make an offer to Man Utd for Javier Hernandez in January.
The Daily Express report that we are one of a few PL clubs keeping tabs on Edinson Cavani who is suggested to be fed up with living in the shadow of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Start digging a hole, we are off to Australia this morning, well, not literally, but a few of our Arsenal friends, including Scott have conjured up today’s post, a topical one too bearing in mind we are off to Old Trafford again on Sunday.
Back on that horrid day in Manchester, I was willing to write that 8-2 defeat off as a non event.
Why? Well we had 100 players injured, kids in the starting eleven and yet we had more shots on goal and we missed a penalty! Young scored two screamers that day, shows what the little s**t can do when he stays on his feet and we gave away some suspect penalties and free-kicks which resulted in them scoring…. It was the perfect storm.
Now let’s consider what it led to.
We brought in several players before the close of the transfer window, some of whom have since disappeared without a trace, while others were tough, hard nosed professionals with the experience we sadly and very badly lacked, and they continue to shine.
Tough times followed that dreadful loss, especially in the media but the players learned and slowly but surely, regrouped and started to get better. They toughened up, they had more fight in them and no doubt they all knew knew they no-one in the club wanted to experience anything like what they had ever again….
It also seemed to fire up Wenger as since that day he has slowly put together a side that is looking capable of winning the league. With one or two additions in January, maybe more than just the league.
I have always believed that the last 4/5 tough seasons would set us up to being the best football club in the world and can anyone say that that isn’t looking likely right now?
Financially, we already are at least up there with the best.
Our stadium is up there with the best.
Our manager is up there with the best.
The missing pieces have always been the players in our squad but I truly believe that our first eleven is the best in England and can compete with any team in the world.
Our squad depth is better than it has been for near on a decade, but there is still room for improvement. January might see Wenger add one or two but I think that all depends on exactly where we are as 2013 comes to an end.
So, from the depths of despair two years ago, we are now TOP OF THE LEAGUE and going along quite nicely….
Of course there is always room for improvement as we still have a relatively young squad but we have the makings of something special.
Something very, very special…….
Written by Scott from Oz
We still have room for improvement . Firstly a world class striker to put pressure on giroud or even demote him. A world class defender to send jenkinson on loan. Then make a decision on the likes of fabianski diaby frimpong park and bendtner. These are the 5 players in our squad that do not really have a future. I would rather see martinez yennaris eisfeld afobe and aneke given the chance to.shine at their expense.
Rams missing in dat nominees is a,political tact to derail him but it wont work
Good post Scott & co from Australia, thank you.
On that day, I was livid, yet again AW had had the entire summer to sign players and had he done so, that mauling wouldn’t have happened. There was absolutely no way I could simply dismiss it as a non-event.
Yes, AW went on to sign Park, Santos, Arteta and Mertesacker, two of those cost the club around £12-14 million and a big wage. What a total waste of money they were too and we are still paying one of them.
Arteta and Mertesacker, well there’s not too much to be said there as they are still here and playing some of the best football of their Arsenal careers.
Has AW learned though? Yes he has signed a few much better quality of players but he really had the chance this summer to be a lot more proactive than he was. Just signing a top class striker would make us seriously stronger, but he didn’t.
I believe that one of the main reasons we are doing well is down to our younger players growing and those we have gelling…
Don’t get me wrong, signing Pod, Giroud, Cazorla, Ozil have of course had an impact, but as well as we are doing right now, I still think we missed a chance in the summer to have made sure we could be a lot better…..
Has AW learned, let’s see in January….
bc – why not sign a top striker to compliment Giroud, to give us a rotation option without lessening our quality up front.
Why would you want Giroud to be ‘demoted’?
Great post Scott.
It now looks as though we are through the years of selling our best players, big players want to come to us instead of leave. Keeping our best players and complimenting them with top talent, young or old and we can only get better.
The future is looking rosy at the moment and I honestly believe we should be able to take three points on Sunday, keep Rooney and the greedy badger quiet and they have nothing else.
the records books all point to United but then so did the Dortmund stats 🙂 If we win this, all hell will break loose with the press. Really can’t wait and really believe we can work our way past them. Moyes rep hangs by a thread if they loose this as does their EPL campaign.
Morning all
Good read scott,
Amazing really what a clear out can do for the squad,
we look so much stronger,
Rooney, hanson(sweaty) and that other little dipper murphy,
have writen us off…great.
The next month will tell…we hear
Wenger has been banging on about the experts writing us off,
Wenger explains
This team has the best form of any team since January 2013,
plus we have beaten the 2 champions league finalists,
in front of there own fans
I’d have to agree totally with the view of us looking very good now and for the future. You are right Lewis, players are not only not being sold, but I doubt there are many who even want to leave right now.
We are on the up and we appear to finally be a club who bigger better players will want to join…
And we need one or two of those in January…
Just hope the players legs recover Oz, if they do, Utd need to be very afraid….
at least two Rico if we’re serious about taking things to the level we can reach – Wenger so far has been so lucky again as with the RVP uninjured season, ass beats class every time they say haha! He really needs to convince of of these striking targets to sign on in the summer.
‘one of these striking’ sorry
fatigue is rarely an issue in games like these Rico – adrenalin will be pumping a thousand miles an hour.
I’d be ok with just a striker in Jan Oz, if we signed a right sided centre half who can play right back too, I’d be very happy. Then make sure we we are ready for summer and get any transfers done early but I doubt he will unless players are not involved in the WC.
Good point, our boys are on a high, they’ll be up for Sunday that’s for sure. I’m truly looking forward to it…
With a little apprehension admittedly…. 😉
test
there was no world cup this year Rico and when was Ozil signed? 🙂
fred – let them under estimate us, all it will do is drive the players on more and more…
🙂 Oz, yes, a late smash and grab but a bloody good one…
It must be tough in WC year though, you could spend a lot of money on one player and he gets injured but then a players value could increase if they have a cracking competition….
you are right Rico because even if you have done your homework and know the players the right fit, he will probably want to focus on the cup before making any career changing decisions.
so the genie is out of the bottle – a 1-1 draw is offered, would you take it or leave it?
Or Oz, , the player knows by the end of May and the move is done and dusted before the WC kicks off – I’m sure players know which clubs are after them…
Spooky, I nearly posted something similar earlier. Yes, I probably would…
Morning all,
I decided to disagree with the whole post the moment I read Scott wrote it. 😛
Well done mate, a very good read btw! Oz didn’t obviously have an input. 🙂
On a serious note, the post-Morten on why AW sold players and bought some players has been debated and spun for too many years… the truth is always somewhere in the middle. The good news is that some ex-players like Wright have supposedly come to understand why certain decisions were made and that is noble of them to acknowledge live on radio that they were wrong about their previously held views imho…
I will take a good draw which will keep us at least 3 points above the 2nd placed team if they win…
According to Tutto sports- Marotta: “A bid from Arsenal arrived with an offer of 20M for Llorente, but he’s not on sale, never has been and will be with us.”
Morning all.
One great point my post missed was beought up by Lewis….we stopped selling our best players.
Probably would have made my post complete 🙂
Thanks to Rico…i gave her a very, very rough draft, and the Queen made it readable 🙂
Should we be concerned BM are getting closer to beating our unbeaten ran… its currently 36 games in the league. hmmm
🙂 Scott, I barely touched it….
Ts, BM don’t count, not being in the PL 😉
🙂 Rico
Flamini back for Sunday.
Giroud a doubt though according to NN headlines….
I want a win , I want to crush their title hopes , I want to put all the pressure on Moyes , I want the papers and the radio to talk of nothing else but United in crisis and most of all I want a message sent to every other team in the league that the days of pushing us around are over. I expect them to use every tactic in the book and a few outside it to try and influence the ref ( Michael Oliver ) and I fully expect that Mike Riley has given his pre match instructions to the officials to clamp down on anything we do and as I expect their crowd to be noisy , I expect the officials to bow down to the pressure and make things as difficult as possible for us. However I expect our class to shine through and get a win.
I want a win too potter, a big one just for the reasons you say, I never want anything else…
Certainly can’t give Oliver any excuse to penalise us….
Southampton manager won manager of the month, good…
don’t go along with this ref paranoia at all mate – Fergie is gone and some of the decisions United now get prove his departure has changed much. Ref’s make mistakes, we’ve had a few go our way already this season. They will come hard but Moyes is not the threat Fergie was. Many said without Fergie’s seal of approval your career went nowhere, I happen to believe that. Of course they will come hard, they have to show their fans they are up for it. Keep the ball and move quickly and we can get at this back line.
Ginge, there are only a few sides in the Bundesliga, so it doesn’t count.
Also……..an undefeated season is what they need 🙂
Despite the great start to the season, it seems Arsène Wenger is going to have something else to worry about come January other than how to keep this great run of form going.
According to the more than reliable Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, it seems that Wenger is already thinking about replacing his current right-back, Bacary Sagna, with the French right-back possibly moving to AC Milan in the summer.
The Italian club are seemingly doing their transfer business early with the addition of Adil Rami on loan from Valencia and the more than likely arrival of Keisuke Honda from CSKA Moscow in January. Fragile at the back, it appears that their primary focus is to eradicate this weakness in order to climb back up the Serie A table (they currently find themselves in 11th place behind Atalanta and Udinese).
Di Marzio seems fairly confident that Sagna will not be signing a new contract at Arsenal (his current deal expiring in June 2014) because the London club are not prepared to offer him one.
AC Milan aren’t the only ones interested. GDM also believes that Napoli, another Italian team with defensive frailties, are keeping an eye on Sagna’s contract situation.
It seems very unlike Arsène Wenger to not want to renew Sagna’s current deal but the French international isn’t getting any younger. Aged 30 and with a couple of rather serious injuries behind him, perhaps Wenger has decided that it is time to either promote Carl Jenkinson or delve in the transfer market in the summer for a new first-team right back.
The only issue with the latter option is the lack of available, quality right backs out there at the moment. However, if there is one manager capable of finding the next best thing, it’s Mr Wenger.
the biggest issue is, you get a settled side finally and once again someone wants out – pay the guy and keep the continuity.
Oz, you might change your view on Sunday…
It’s the club, not just Fergie and an ex Manc is now with the FA..
if he makes an error so be it – as for the ex Manc if they didn’t follow the game they wouldn’t be involved would they. I remember all this stuff when Dein was running things for the FA. Fergie was feared by the refs Moyes is not and its cost them once or twice already.
Give Sagna a 3 year deal.
spot on Scott – he does the job, why go looking for others?
no pressure here then…
‘The game is one of the benchmarks of the season for us,’ said Wenger.
Oz, We thrive under pressure haha
Oz I would like to agree about the PGMOL but I don’t . Riley has been a thorn in our side ever since Rooney took his tumble over a non existent leg to stop our unbeaten run. Riley gave the penalty and was publicly.proven to be wrong It put him against Wenger in particular who had invaded the ref’s inner sanctum and bought a form of accountability to them. Wenger didn’t learn and went on to publicly criticise both Poll and later Webb in similar fashion.Poll for allowing a five minute sweary rant by Rooney and Webb for sending off Adebayor at Wembley when in fact Eboue threw the punch. Every time Wenger was in the right but as we know one thing is sacrosanct and that is that in their eyes referees are above any culpability. Now that Riley is in charge is it any wonder that sometimes referee appointments seem to favour our opponents when we play certain teams. We all know the records of certain refs and we know what they penalise and what they let go. How come we always got the lenient ones for our games against Stoke, Bolton etc . Coincidence ? Not really.
4 non penalties against us this season.
3 Points sunday should be what we all want,
Just to see that the little boys mush.
We’ll have to agree to differ Oz, the entire refereeing set-up from Riley down, dislike us imho…
Historic incidents and events have drawn me to that conclusion. 49 unbeaten was the worst and that little squirt Riley!!
Totally agree re Sagna Scott
ok mate, everyone has their views but i will tell you all supporters claim exactly the same thing and thats why i tend to dismiss it. Fergie wielded influence against everyone, not just Arsenal. Now he’s gone… rock on Sunday and lets shut Rooney’s ugly gob for him.
Good Morning to the Lady of the House and all fellow Gooners in residence.
Scott – A great article mate. We need more true supporters like you and less of the ‘prawn cocktail fans’.
Last season you stood behind Aaron Ramsey when many fans were calling him shite. I bet when you were a kid you were one of those who were muttering “I belive” under your breath when watching Peter Pan.
Our team are starting to believe too. A number of them have commented that they and their teammates are enjoying playing their football. They are a team in the true sense of the word. With a few judicious additions we can be champions.
Potter – I’m with you on your 11:02 a.m. posting. I too want all three points for the game and to make a point with Judas van Pursestrings and David Moyes.
Sagna being allowed to go will be a disaster; Ludivine is the biggest gunner WAG in the land… no disrespect by the way. They seem happy in London; can Milan or Napoli even afford to pay him more than 50k a week?
Milan offered Flamini 32k last summer… Italy is BROKE.
If it ever comes to replacing Sagna, Lichtsteiner of Juve arguably the best RB in the world who now has his style of play named after him in Italy will be superb but he is roughly the same age as Sagna so why contemplate that? He is also only a RB so…
Uchida of Schalke will be ideal for both commercial and footballing reasons. Hwe will make Stan and IG more money with shirt sales and he is almost as good as Rangel…
If I had it my way I will promote Yennaris and Bellerin though; but I guess I believe in the youth system more than most so…
Thanks CG.
I hate prawn cocktails 🙂
Off now guys…..enjoy the day.
Not long til we while Yaniteds arse.
Why will we……we are better than those bastards 🙂
Whip their arse…..whip haha
Talking about penalties 5 of the spuddies 9 goals this season has come from the spot in the last 10 minutes of games… hmmm
I asked my neighbor last night if his team had decided to concede to finish below us this season so that his team can challenge Yanited and the ‘bigger’ teams for the title next season? He acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about… 😀
bc – “Firstly a world class striker to put pressure on giroud or even demote him.”
This isn’t the Football Manager game. Giroud has worked his socks off for the team and his teammates and is a great player for us. He deserves some respect.
Yes, we should sign another world class striker, but to work with him and the team and/or to replace him in normal squad rotation.
Night Scott
Hi Cg
3am start so i am away as well – night all see you tomorrow
Night Scott, sleep well.
Morning Cg…
Night Oz, you sleep well too….
Night Oz
Scott – Good Night mate, sleep well.
Ginge – Good Morning.
Great away win in the week but,
Flamini has to play..who do we drop?
I think we should offer Sagna another two or three years. He is still a great player and our young fullbacks can learn a lot fom him. He is also one of our best crossers, landing balls to feet or head of the likes of Giroud.
Yes, he is getting old and will slow down and be more prone to injury, but he will give us contiuity nd an experienced cool head a we phase in his eventual replacement(s). The same goes for Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta.
Cg- I think AW will evaluate TV’s attitude between now and January and offer more than a 2 year contract if TV decides to move on which will be a shame btw.
Sagna was offered a 2 year contract in the summer but that translated to 1 year extension which is an insult imho…
Sagna is the ideal 3rd or 4th choice CB in the league imo so we should consider that too..
Talking about CBs; Miguel is doing quite well at Leicester even though he is not playing as much as he may have wanted… on the other hand whenever he plays he has looked assured and has even scored for Leicester…
Good question fred…. Tomas to the bench maybe but that would take a lot from our attacking game.
Good post Scott, good day everyone.
Heard a comment yesterday that had me chuckling, not sure if its been repeated here.
Same old Arsenal, still haven’t beaten anyone above them in the Premier or Champions Leagues 😉
Ginge – You raise some interesting regarding Vermaelen.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, if and when he gets some regular playing time. He’ll need to get his confidence back and work on his partnerships with Kozzer and the BFG. I hope he can get back to his best for us.
Also, I agree with regarding Sagna being a great back-up at CB. I hope he and the club can reach an amicable agreement for another two to three years. If he has any aptitude for coaching, it would be great to see him back in the Academy after he retires from playing.
On that note, it was great to see DB10 sitting next to Ajax manager de Boer in their ECL game on Wednesday. He is another, along with TH14, I’d like to see back at the club on our coaching staff.
Ginge – That should be “interesting questions regarding”.
Rico – Has anyone heard from AGAG recently?
I couldn’t help thinking about her when one of our local weathermen mentioned that the typhoon tracking across the Philippines today, was the strongest storm of the year anywhere.
That’s funny Ah, we can’t 😉
Agag was here at the weekend Cg, but not in the last couple of days…
Rico – Thank You.
The night is almost gone, so I’m off to bed. I bid you and your Houseguests Good Night/Afternoon.
Night Cg…
Sorry was on a lunch break
Afternoon all, nice post Scotty boy.
Our signings have been good and the Marquee signing put a nice little edge on our team, Ozil has lifted the whole squad but the player who has made the difference for me is Flamony. Granted he hasn’t played a few games and important games at that but he has set what is expected in midfield and now that he has been out the replacement has done the business, its my opinion that when he comes back, and i hope its for the United game, his play will certainly help the team. Of course the other players like the back four have a resiliance now that at one time looked a little accident prone and with Rambo and Ozil backed up with Arteta and Rosiski the engine is running quite smoothly. Giroud has been flogged like a carthorse but he’s up for the challenge but Bendtner is not the player to give him a rest. I am disappointed with Sanogo’s injury i would have liked to have seen him settled in by now, as i had tipped him to be a future CF but with a Diaby type start he may not be the player i had hoped for. A centre forward is a must in the next transfer window and also maybe another defender. Manchester United will be a major test for us i am not so much worried about their team as i am about our record with them can our players wipe that out of their minds or will the many losses flood back, i suppose we will have to wait till Sunday to find out.
Night Cg, rest well..
Flamini has been a top addition imho too Sp, but we’ve done really well without him too as Arteta has been really good…
BC – OG12 has fully deserved his place in the team. His work ethic and touch for a big man has been immense. He is a starter and earned that right. He does not deserve demotion. Obviously he is not clinical as we’d like, but his other attributes make up for that possible deficiency.
Lewis – Great point about the big players now possibly wanting to join us. Hopefully Gooners will not have to sweat over the annual summer exodus.
I’ve been nagging about BAC for months.
Something is cooking in Italy.
Believe BAC has commended a 3yr deal with pay rise.
He is an unsung player in our squad. True Gooner who plays with his body on the line.
I recognize that his crossing can improve, but he is still Top 3 RB in PL.
I love Jenks but he’s clearly not ready.
Nice post Scotty.
I always appreciate your consistent upbeat optimism even during tougher periods.
You bleed GOONER RED undoubtedly…..
Cheers
My thoughts on Bacary Sagna…
Is he the best right-back at the club?
Is he one of the top right-backs in the EPL?
Is he versatile, ie can he fill in at left/centre-back?
Is he a reliable and solid professional?
Yes to all the above….
Is he injury prone?
Is he, at 30, too old?
Is he a troublemaker?
No to all the above…
Is he worth a 3 or 4 year contract?
Yes to the above….
How much would it cost to sign a player of his quality?
Loads….
Then WTF are the club doing, seemingly letting him leave on a Bosman?
Fcuk knows?!!!!
We let Pires go too soon, we let Gilberto Silva go too soon, we fanny’d about with Edu and he left on a Bosman, likewise Wiltord….
Giving Sagna a new contract is a no-brainer…
Well said Kev 🙂
a117, spot on re Giroud. He’s not a poacher striker but he’s sure scored a few good goals and what he gives to the side is immense.
Sign a poacher to play off of him I say…
I do not want to come across heady.
This is the first visit to OT in many seasons, i can honestly remember that we are favourites.
I will take a win or draw.
I remain humble but quietly optimistic.
Ozil has added belief to the squad.
Flamini has added authority and steel.
Ramsey, OG12, TR07 and others have stepped up.
I am excited to see what Poldi, TW and Chambo can add.
I still do not believe that Santi is back to his pre injury best yet.
COme on You Reds.
Cheers
I don’t believe much from that earlier article, something makes me think that the club will announce that Bac and AW have signed their new contracts at very similar times..
Prob during the next transfer window.
We’ll said Kev.
Afternoon Rico and all.
Great point Kev – re Pires, Silva and Edu.
It seems maybe AW has since changed his post30 policy.
These men are solid pros who make adjustments for their declining pace.
I do NOT want a new RB.
Jenks and Bellerin will come good in 2 years.
Ozil isn’t at his peak either yet A117…
Bendtner has not reached his peak or should I say his ‘trough’ yet. 😛
Afternoon Adam..
Ts, I wish he would, the one on Everest… 😉
Hi Rico. It has got really drab and wet here. Calls for some comfort food for dinner and a careful selection of music to suit the mood I think.
It’s the same here Adam, just made some spicy soup for the weekend…
LM burgers are nice 😉
What a good idea Rico. I must go to Waitrose tomorrow. 🙂
Is LM burger made from kosher meat or tofu? 😛
We had some in the week Adam, football night 🙂
With red onion, gherkins, cheese slice, chilli sauce and mayo, nice 😉
Neither Ts..
Here are the ones we are talking about Ts…
http://www.lindamccartneyfoods.co.uk/ourfood/mozzarellaburger/
They are lovely…
They are good but be careful not to overcook them.
I would ask everyone to keep Agag in their thoughts and prayers at the moment. Things are bad in the Philipines, really bad. The storm is unprecedented in fact. Agag is one of us and as Arsenal fans, we always keep special people close to our hearts.
Depends on how one likes them cooked Adam… 😉
She is already Adam. Cg mentioned that things are bad earlier. I hope that she is safe, and all of her family and friends….
Adam, do you know whereabouts agag is in the Philipines?
2 certainties when we play at the Theatre of Pus. They get a dodgy pen and we get a red card. Also we rarely ever llay there with a full team.
She lives in Manila which is on the opposite coast to the real bad stuff I think Rico. Some people are really copping it though.
I hope that’s not the case Bj….
Thanks Adam, just been reading about the storms on the BBC, they are really bad…
The problem I have with Lm’s food and bear in mind it comes from just up the road is despite the photos looking good , I can’t stand the taste. Then again I am not a fan of most vegetables especially those that have a definite methane smell whilst cooking. In my defence I was bought up just after the second world war and the cooking style was to cook it for 20 minutes too long and then give it another 20 to makes sure. I remember school dinners with white carrots and being sent out for copious amounts of bi-carbonate of soda. Not a good start for young tastebuds.
BTW :- I too feel for those in the Phillipines , from all reports it’s a bit nasty out there.
🙂 Potter, that has made me chuckle. No sprouts for you at Christmas then….
Wellbeck is out for Sunday.
Back after dinner….
Not a chance Rico , A nice tomato and red pepper soup to start followed by various different meats with roasties ,peppers and beans , red wine , then hot morello cherries with ice cream , a glass of port ( or two ) , Log fire , armchair , sleep off Christmas eve Get ready for the Garnetts on boxing day.
No Wellbeck ! That will give us a close up of Hernandez then
Potter. You hedonist. 🙂
Nice Potter, apart from the selection of meats of course, the rest though – nom nom…
Not too close though, he’s a dangerous player…
That’s me done, night Adam, Potter and all…
Morning guys.
Agag, our thoughts are with you.
Nighty night All…
Echoing earlier comments, my thoughts are with my Shopping Buddy, Agag…
Be safe buddy
Nice article.
We agreed to disagreed.
Merlin, i wait eagerly for your article 🙂
me too – All the best AGAG hope you are safe and well
Interesting read Scott; well done.
agag, our prayers are with you and your countrymen.
More than 100 people were killed in a Philippine city that took the brunt of super Typhoon Haiyan, authorities said.
That death toll in Tacloban was the first significant casualty report in a day when authorities began surveying the devastation of a typhoon described as perhaps the strongest storm to make landfall in recorded history, with 195 mph wind and gusts of 235 mph.
Long time no see Merlin, hope you are doing well…
Morning all.
New post will be up around 9.30.
I’m out this morning so catch up sometime later…
What I was sayinf about giroud is that every striker needs real pressure to keep him on his toes. Bendtner park sanogo afobe akpom lipman walcott and podolski are not doing that. If we don’t bring in a striker better than giroud we need one at least as good. As for the RB situation we need sagna to sin before january or face needing 2 right backs. Quite simply jenkinson bellerin siemann are not at the level required yet to replace sagna. Also if sagna goes we need a 4th centre back . One answer could be to bring back coquelin and djourou who couldbe rb and 4th cb? But I personally think they will leave.
Morning all.
Despite all public announcements that he is settled/important to the immediate future of Juventus. I still think that we are for and a deal can be done, for Llorente…
Morning All
