Arsenal’s Worst Defeats Under Arsene Wenger…

Morning all.

Arsene Wenger’s 21-year reign at Arsenal has everyone questioning if he is the jinx to the Gunners yet again, fading season.

Here’s a recap of the 11 worst defeats throughout the years by PK.

  1. Manchester City – Arsenal (6:3)

In the 2013-14 Premier League, Arsenal suffered one of their worst defeats. The officials played their part in this hammering with a few decisions going against us which hardly helped. After the match, Wenger said his team lost their discipline and made “too many technical mistakes”. I think he’s still saying the same today…

  1. Liverpool – Arsenal (5:1)

During the same Premier League season, early in 2014, Arsenal suffered another battering, this time from Liverpool .

Liverpool were in superb form, while we were caught napping. Having been at the top of the tree just a few weeks earlier, by the time this game was over Arsenal were back down to a very familiar fourth place, seven points adrift from the league leaders.

  1. Bradford City – Arsenal (1:1, 3:2 on penalties)

If you ask Arsenal fans, they’re bound to blame this on Gary Thompson, as he was the one who scored the goal for Bradford City just before the end of the match which dates back to the end of 2012 during a Capital One Cup showdown The match went to a penalty shootout, one we lost.

  1. AC Milan – Arsenal (4:0)

February 2012 – three players from Milan scored four goals and utterly destroyed Arsenal’s chance of progressing in the Champions League that season. The result and performance was very different to the one four years before this match when Arsenal became the first English side to beat AC Milan at the San Siro courtesy of a 2-0 second-leg victory that eliminated the then holders from the last 16 of the Champions League.

  1. Arsenal – Blackburn Rovers (0:1)

In a home match, during the FA Cup quarter finals, Arsenal suffered an unprecedented defeat by lower league Blackburn. Coming from a division below, no one expected the tie to unfold as it did and even those who loved a flutter wouldn’t risk their free bonuses, explained here, to bet on Blackburn.

  1. Chelsea – Arsenal (6:0)

Another ordeal for Arsenal in the Premier League occurred in 2014, during Arsene Wenger’s 1000 game in charge of the team. Completely ruining his day, the Frenchman decided to skip the press conference for the first time in 17.5 years.

  1. Arsenal – Birmingham City (1:2)

Just two minutes before the end of the finals Birmingham snatched the League Cup right out from under Arsenal’s nose, even though they were favourites at the start of the match. At least Birmingham enjoyed winning their first trophy since 1963.

  1. Manchester United – Arsenal (6:1)

After a statement by Wenger about United being unremarkable that season, they beat us 5-1. Awful.

  1. Tottenham Hotspur – Arsenal (5:1)

In 2008, this battering from the neighbours was embarrassing. Yes it was only the Carling Cup, but when it’s them, it’s a must win at all costs. On this day it wasn’t to be and fans weren’t happy. Apparently their were a few fans fighting on the pitch after the final whistle blew.

  1. Manchester United – Arsenal (8:2)

In what seems to be their greatest defeat, Arsenal had reached a new low. While they disappointed their manager and fans, Wayne Rooney scored his 150th goal for United.

    11. Bayern Munich – Arsenal (5-1)

The latest, and hopefully the last for a long while was a trip to Germany to face Bayern Munich side.  1-1 at half-time only to capitulate in the second half. Funny enough, we lost by the same scoreline to the same opposition back in 2015…

So, which is your worst Arsenal match/result under Arsene Wenger, any of the above, or a different one?

Tomorrow, we’ll look at the best….

    Liverpool 5-1.
    We weren’t prepared.
We had absolutely no excuses at all not to be ready to go, as we knew Liverpool would be.
I believe there are reasonable factors that contributed to some of those other loses.
    This game, there were none.
    Morning all.
I hope tomorrow’s post with best wins is as enthusiastically received as I’m sure this one will be 🙂

    Evening rico1 & all

On this balmy evening as well. Like I’ve said b4, Arsene Wenger is like an old pair of jeans to the Board/Stan Kranky, he’s a comfy fit. The thought of potential massive expenditure that the Board/Stan might have to outlay to get better than what exists now makes parting with Arsene that more difficult. That’s why Stan must go, then the cards will fall?

  3. rico says:

    Not sure I’ll find many Scott… 😉

    Morning George.

Surely right now the best, perhaps only option is to change what is going on in training and on the pitch? Stan has absolutely nothing to do with any of that though does he?

Imo, start with a new manager, then, if the club are still reluctant to spend money on players we really need rather than those who just are just bought for the sake of it, then we’ll know where the problem truly is..

I’m no fan of Kroenke/the board and yes, they should have told Wenger to go before now, but none of those people are responsible for Bayern beating us 5-1, or any of the other shoddy performances we’ve seen over the last 5/6 years…

  4. scottfromoz says:

    Rico,
11 grown men and professional footballers are every bit as guilty a Wenger.
They were fine until Kozzer went off.
Ok, people will say Wenger didn’t have them motivated etc etc, but what does Stan do to motivate Wenger!
I promise I’ll not rant again in this post, but you can not give one scenario without accepting the other.

  5. gnarleygeorge9 says:

If you just think Arsene a Wenger should go then you are just prolonging your pain. By getting rid of Stan & replacing him with a Chelsea Roman, you get what you want & in less the time.

  6. rico says:

Scott, if you suggest the players should be self motivated etc etc which you do, why should that same rule not apply to Wenger? Why should he need someone breathing down his neck to do his bleedin job properly…?

  7. potter says:

Throw back to yesterday. Bank holiday monday 8pm kick off away to Middlesbrough. Btw No trains to London.

  8. gnarleygeorge9 says:

The last 2 PL winning managers sacked less than 9 months later, yet Arsene Wenger is untouchable. That’s because the Board /Stan don’t have the will to let him go. What is this English adoration of all thing State Side.

  9. scottfromoz says:

Rico, so which one of us Is right?
Either both of us or neither.
Who says Wenger isn’t motivated, by the way?
Players body language show’s they’re not.
Wengers lack of tactics and subs can’t necessarily be put down to that.
Not sure who will manage us, GG.
He could come from Tassie 🙂

  10. rico says:

    That’s well planned Potter.

He has far too much control, of that we all know but I really don’t get why Stan is at fault for the rubbish Wenger serves up…

When results/performances are not good, the manager goes, not the owner…

  11. rico says:

If Wenger was motivated Scott, don’t you think the players would be? They mirror is sloppy lazy approach each week…

Also, if he was motivated, he would have us defending well, have a solid midfield and we wouldn’t be being beaten by sides we shouldn’t be losing too… Certainly not in the way we do.

  12. potter says:

    Still it’s on TV.
As for the Stan / Wenger debate they are both to blame but neither are likely to go . The supporters Will continue to ebb away but as long as the money rolls in this ownership will do what the last did .They will hang on until they can sell at a fat profit.

  13. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Scott

Arsene Wenger has to go. He is passed his used by date. He will never win the CL with The Arsenal, so why should the Club/fans tread water while he fiddle farts about.

  14. scottfromoz says:

Rico, when did Arsene ever know how to coach defenders 🙂
No matter which way you spin things, I can flip it around and the reverse applies.
None of truly knows exactly where the problem lies.
Time will tell and changes will prove it.

  15. rico says:

Eddie Jones what George? I thought Scott was on about some unknown Aussie footballing coach who would work wonders at Arsenal. Despite Kroenke being the owner.

  16. rico says:

Which makes matters even worse Scott, he can coach defenders at all!

Well, you flip it all you like as it seems that is your agenda these days Scott. Everyone knows when the football is stale it’s not an owner who leaves a club, it’s the manager.

When Wenger is gone, I suspect you and I will watch another manager spend some money…. Maybe then the penny will drop…

  17. rico says:

I read that too George but only as part of a new managerial team according to the article I read. Although I don’t know if that article is genuine…

  18. Lee says:

So there’s a Wenger out march planned at the next home game!
Can’t wait for a new manager given all the tools Wenger has at his disposal….can’t do any worse than the shit Wenger’s team have been serving up!

  19. Adam says:

Morning Rico. Surely that would depend on a new manager wanting Thierry’s input. Wenger has firmly rejected any assistance.

  20. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Get rid of the Yank, & it clears the way for a new direction, that has a heavy focus on winning the PL, etc.

As for the AFL, it is better run than your FA , & on a fraction of a budget. its a properly run competition.

  21. Le Coq Monster says:

    Cheers Rico !

Defeats !……………..everyone of them is a knife in the heart !…………..even draws are like someone has strangled me near to the point of death !…………………………..I like to get theatrical !…………………toupee or not toupee, that is the question !……………well, it is for Stan every morning ! hahaha

This is easy for me…………..any cup final defeat, followed by any Spud defeat or draw !.

  22. rico says:

Really Lee, good.. Me too re the rest of your comment. The man has everything yet still fails dismally…

Morning Adam. You’d have thought so, after all, it wouldn’t be Kroenke’s decision as he doesn’t get involved with anything to do with the management.

  23. allezkev says:

Bolton 2-2 Arsenal, 2002-03, followed by a home defeat by Leeds, classic implosion by a Wenger team, handed title to ManUre on a plate, won the cup but it should have been the double.
I was there, leading 2-0 then threw it away amidst some shocking refereeing and Bolton strong arm tactics.

Following season lost 1-0 to a poor ManUre team in FACup semi-final.
Another shit refereeing performance allowed Scholes & Nevilles to kick Reyes to pieces, but we were insipid, and remember, that team were the invincible squad…

Those are my two, two doubles frittered away…

    Morning All
    Morning Rico

    Pastygate….

  24. Le Coq Monster says:

Tomorrow will be easy as well !…………………………..Any game that wins the title, any cup final win, any win over Spuds and any Spud loss !…………………I`m so predictable !………………….
    🙂

  25. scottfromoz says:

Rico, I have no agenda other than to see the club do better, but because I dare believe there’s a remedy that includes more than Wenger leaving, I’m an open target for people to say what they like, but that is ok with me lol

  26. Adam says:

Those fixated on Kroenke might bear in mind that a new owner/owners might be worse. Who knows? They might want a say in team affairs.

  27. Lee says:

May not need to get rid of the yank just get rid of Wenger and we could see a whole new proper football team!
Wenger’s pathetic washed up, outdated management style surely is Stan’s fault is it?

  28. rico says:

Morning Kev, well remembered….. The way Reyes was left to be kicked to pieces was disgraceful stuff from the officials…

    Such a talented player…

  29. Le Coq Monster says:

True Adam !……………………………but we all want someone like Abramobitch or Mansours or our own Uzzy……………………….although if it was to be Ginsters, that would solve the Pastygate problem !
    🙂

As much as I want Kroenke to pass peacefully away, I`m sensible enough to know Wenger has to go first !………although my missus wont vouch for the sensible bit ! hahaha

  30. rico says:

Very true Adam, We hear of so many club managers who complain about their owners interfering with transfers etc. Isn’t that why Bruce walked away from Hull?

That’s my view Lee. Only when Wenger goes will we see what Septic Stan is all about…

  31. scottfromoz says:

    There we have it, Kev.
Wenger hasn’t changed, but the game has and fans have.
LC, Yes, Arsene must go first, no question.
It won’t change anything, imo, but in a year or two time, everyone will be telling us they knew Stan was the problem all along lol.

  32. allezkev says:

    Scott;

1998-99; threw away the double (again).

1999-00; lost to 10 man Galatasaray on penalty shoot-out after dominating game.

2000-01; lost to Liverpool, again after dominating.

All the flaws we see in Arsenal teams now, were there then, at that time, but we won the double in 2001-02 and most forgot that three year period, but the warning signs about mental strength or lack of, were apparent.

  33. allezkev says:

Scott, that’s quite a damning indictment of Wenger if you are right.
For someone so intelligent not to change, not to evolve as the game changes.
    His methods are yesterday’s news.

  34. rico says:

Why on earth didn’t you write that yonks ago Scott? ‘Wenger has to go first’? At last! lol

I think though that it’ll be you eating humble pie… 🙂

  35. scottfromoz says:

    Yes Kev.
The entire club was different then, and we had strong characters on the pitch.
    Leaders.
    We have none, now.
They made up for Arsenes lack of tactics, as did his knowledge of nutrition, scouting etc etc.
People criticise the man relentlessly, forgetting he was ahead of his time.
He was never perfect, but he’s nowhere near as bad as people suggest now.

  36. Le Coq Monster says:

Kev` !…………………did you have to mention…………………….精神力量……………………I need to lay down !

Ok ok ok…………………..I will deliver it next home game I`m up for……………………..that`s if Adam hasn`t burnt his season ticket ! 🙂

  37. Lee says:

We used to play wonderful dynamic football but we’ve also been serious bottlers under Wenger…..

A strategically shaved chimpanzee could do a better job imo

  38. Le Coq Monster says:

Is Bubbles still alive, Lee ?…………………………………..I look forward to being Chimpions again !
    😆

  39. scottfromoz says:

Rico, Ive been saying that’s since May 2014!
I’ve also said I hope I am wrong and we flourish when he leaves.
My big concern is if I’m right, we are up shit creek and stuck with a Yank owner who doesn’t give a toss.
    What then???
I won’t be bragging if I’m right, I guarantee you, but it’s not about who I right and wrong, it’s about what’s best for the club and we may know until it Is too late.

  40. rico says:

Not sure about that Scott, don’t think I’ve ever read a comment of yours suggesting Wenger should go before Kroenke…

    🙂 Lee.

  41. Wavy says:

Kronke is probably not a bad owner, in the scheme of things. He seems to let the football people just get on with it. Money is released now, when it is demanded, or at least it seems that is the case. He doesn’t interfere at all in the day to day running of the club, or so we are told. Could you imagine having a Chillini (sp) owning our club….absolute nightmare!
Yes, I would prefer Usminov in charge but only because he has gazillions in the bank and claims he is prepared to spend some of it on players, top players for the club. Have no problem with that at all. I fail to understand why he has been ostracised from the Board etc. Perhaps he’s just not a very nice man, a bit like Abramovitch!

But who will replace Wenger who is going to steal the former king’s crown?
    That is the question!

    Blue skies again!
    Morning all.

  42. Le Coq Monster says:

I hate to say this but to a certain extent I agree with Wavy in that Kroenke is not a bad owner……he`s a terrible one !……..just kidding !…………………if all the clubs in the EPL were run on self-sustainability, like say, some form of Financial Fair Play scheme, then I would have no problem with him, but because we dont have a fair level playing field the he has to be the victim of a snuff movie !

I dont know the ins and outs of companies whatsoever, but It seems ridiculous and somewhat unfair that someone with almost a third of a companies shares and second largest shareholder is not on the board of Arsenal FC !……………I just dont understand it and wish someone could explain the stupidity( or is it ?) of it !.

As for Arsene`s replacement…………..we aint going to get the richer clubs managers unless they are sacked, so it`s Koeman or Simeone for me.

  43. Wavy says:

I’m convinced Koeman did not renew his contract at Southampton and waited and waited for Arsene to quit last summer before accepting a job at Everton. Obviously I have no evidence for this assertion, it’s just a gut thing. However, now he’s established himself at the toffees who have found themselves a sugar daddy, recommended by our Alisha, plus the promise of a new ground, I don’t think he’ll be moving on any time soon. Oh, unless Barca come callings! He does carry thei DNA around with him, always.
Arsenal are no longer in the frame for the Dutchman. Our management sourcing team will have to look elsewhere.
Finally, I suspect old syrupy will have no input for the replacement manager, in that he does not know the first thing about soccer or its many management hopefuls. He will have an agenda and a list of cash rewards that he wants for himself, but beyond that he’ll have diddly squat influence on the new mans appointment. Imo.

  44. Kk says:

    Hi Scott. .

SK is only guilty for not sacking wenger long time ago..or at least openly demands more improvement.
It’s pathetic. .we all know that, and I haven’t heard or read anyone defending his lack of action.

However, it’s not easy to sack a cult figure like wenger from his job after all his past achievement and service to the club, and Stan is no fool to initiate that, it could backfire and bite him in the backside if things go pear shape afterwards.

Wenger on other hand has selfishly been controlling the club and most importantly the football and won’t let go. And hence the abuse and the frustration among the fans.

A decent man should’ve done the honorable thing and helped the club he claims to love move forward.

He has been doing the same thing over and over with the same end product. The only difference is the football is getting worse.

Wenger has become either a selfish deluded old man or a complete fraud just playing along the greedy yank agenda.

So I don’t know why you get worked up when people here say it’s primarily his fault.

It’s all been said 1000s time really.

Ps I know you think he should go!

    Afternoon Rico and the house.

  45. Le Coq Monster says:

As much as I hate what Wavy has just written, I have to agree and the Koeman chance has sailed……………..Simeone it is then ! 🙂

Shit !…..just realied isn`t he another one who has been promised a new shiny stadium !…………..back to the drawing board……….at this rate there wont be any decent managers available…………………..Wenger it is then ! 🙁

  46. Bob John says:

    HI all
Worst defeats! Any defeat is bad enough. A 3-0 home loss at Highbury to Middlesboro’ when they only had one shot on target was pretty rough! We had a good side then too. 3-2 at Home to the Spuds after being 2-0 up still rankles. Lots of European games where we have been abject. Zagreb, Braga, Mancs semi, Inter (h). The most annoying has to be Chelsea quarter-final 2nd leg when the Champions League was there for the taking.

  47. Le Coq Monster says:

The current odds on a Wenger replacement !

    10 – Dennis Bergkamp 20/1

    8= – Rafael Benitez 18/1

    8= – Ronald Koeman 18/1

    7- Leonardo Jardim 14/1

    5= – Patrick Vieira 12/1

    5= – Diego Simeone 12/1

    4 – Eddie Howe 11/1

    3 – Brendan Rodgers 8/1

    2 – Thomas Tuchel 6/1

    1 – Massimiliano Allegri 4/1

  48. rico says:

Wavy, apparently Pep was in the same situation as Keoman, he too wanted to come to Arsenal..

Bob, the 4-4 against both Newcastle and Totts still haunt me..

Afternoon Kk, good comment and spot on imo.

    Afternoon all by the way…

  49. frednerk says:

    Afternoon Rico and All
Looking back the last couple of years, reports of
top managers wanting to sign for us say’s a lot
about our club..Prehap’s our board/Syrup are not that bad
    after all…Just joking scott.

Could it be..The Bullit means something else in the US of A

  50. ScottfromOz says:

    Morning all.
Fred, you could be right 🙂
    Maybe I’ll be proven 100% wrong-I hope I am.
Rico, I’ve made a lot of posts on here, so not even your memory is good enough to remember them all, surely lol
Arsene going leaves us with the truth about what’s wrong with the club, and I have said that.
KK, Stan could easily advise Arsene to improve or leave without doing it publicly.
Stan shows his true colours by not doing this, thend inoounding thebissue by extending and upgrading Arsenes contract which, right here and now, is just ridiculous.
It shows how out of touch that man really is.
Merson said it the other day-Stan has his perfect manager.
Someone who keeps us competitive, makes money and is the clubs fall guy who cops all the criticism and abuse of which some us deserved, some not.

  51. rico says:

Scott. I don’t need memory, I have the tools to look back on your comments, so perhaps you don’t need to be smart eh…. ?

  52. ScottfromOz says:

Well you’d better post every comment I’ve made on Wenger and Stan then lol
    Tomorrow’s post right there 🙂

  53. ScottfromOz says:

What Merson said this time was on point and nobody can suggest otherwise.
Then, if he said Wenger was to blame, he’d have been right, of course, in the eyes of most and his credibility rating would’ve shot up.
Still, what he says, what we say-it really doesn’t matter, unfortunately.

  54. ScottfromOz says:

Sense and logic are overtaken by emotion and hate, Rico.
You only need read any conversation here recently to know that.
The place is toxic and I mean Arsenal, and all things related to it.
A fresh start is required and we can only hope it happens.
    Imagine if Wenger does stay?
    Bloody hell!!!!
WW3 will take place every day on Arsenal blogs and FB pages lol

  55. rico says:

I disagree Scott. People on here speak through many years of experience- not emotion or hate. That’s harsh, almost disrespectful to those who have been born into the club.

  56. ScottfromOz says:

Rico, Do you honestly think people aren’t emotional about Arsenal and hate what’s happening at the club??????
I do, but as you so subtly point out, I’m not born into the club-it comes up often enough but I do realise it.
I think my accent gives it away, but keep reminding me so I don’t forget.
My comment wasn’t meant as an insult to anyone, so if anyone is offended by that, then that’s hardly my problem.
If they don’t hate what’s happening, then they hide their happiness damn well lol
Ok, people can question what Merson said, but if they disagree then they’re hardly being honest.
I should add, that’s merely my opinion, because I’m not God, either.

  57. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Lee/Frank Mc

If, for instance, Usmanov replaced Stan, then there would be no need to be talking about Wenger out, coz he would be out, & the situation would have arisen where both the manager & major stake holder would be working for Titles, not top 4 or being asked to be judged in May, etc,etc

Stan is not a winner, he is an accumulator of finance, & he has an accountant type manager @ The Arsenal whom he happily pays for, like an expensive pair of old jeans, & whom in return provides him with the dividends that make his wealth rise.

And just as well Stan does keep his nose out of footie affairs, I mean Thierry Henry as manager FFS ?

  58. rico says:

Bloody heck Scott, your response to me is cheap, and stupid! I’m not born into the club either and you know that. You made a comment which suggested hatred towards Arsenal- and as far as I know, there isn’t any. Just a lot of frustration….

  59. ScottfromOz says:

    Rico.
    I “suggested” nothing.
You “interpreted” what I said in a manner you chose to, but that’s always the case of late lol
Since when have I been accused of NOT saying exactly what I think?
Since 5 minutes ago but hey, there’s a first for everything.

  60. ScottfromOz says:

Show me where I used Wenger and hate in the same sentence of the comment you responded to.
Of course, you can go back as far as you like with your tools and make anyone look silly, but keep that for special occasions lol

  61. ScottfromOz says:

If only I had the tools lol.
My posts are cheap and stupid, and I’m silly.
Imagine I’d said that to someone lol
    Sensational.

  62. rico says:

Do you know what Scott, I don’t even know why you bother on here. You have just twisted my comment around to suit your own agenda…

Like I said, do you ever read back on your own comments….

  63. allezkev says:

Shame about Stephy Mavididi, just developing nicely at Charlton and now he’s done his hamstring seriously, needing an operation, so out for 14/16 weeks, won’t be back till July ffs…

  64. allezkev says:

I guess they were always likely to beat Huddersfield, Rico.
They should beat Middlesbrough in the Q/F.

The FACup S/F is gonna be quite interesting this year.
I might go to Wembley if I can get a ticket this year, not that I’m disrespecting Lincoln, but for flecks sake, we should beat them.

  65. gnarleygeorge9 says:

What you English need to understand is we are Australia, unlike you chameleons who are England in the Commonwealth Games, etc, then England & Wales in the cricket, then GB in the Olympics, etc or UK for whatever, or Europe when you play golf.

  66. ScottfromOz says:

GG, you’d be amazed at how relaxed I am lol
I’m other things as well, apparently 🙂
    Mooy goes well-he’s PL quality.

  67. ScottfromOz says:

    Enrique standing down at Barca?
Must be our next manager, Surely lol
    Switch, maybe?
    Wouldn’t that be interesting?

  68. allezkev says:

Yeah GG, you’re right mate, all you Aussies are pure….

Pure Irish, pure Croat, pure Italian, pure Serb, pure Greek, pure Scottish, I mean, there’s even a few English down there living with all you guys, and of course the Abbos… ?

    Bonzer…

  69. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Yes kev, & they all band together under the one banner, not several.

Yes Scott, there has been another wave of Poms moving to Launceston. I can talk footie/The Arsenal with them 🙂

  70. Le Coq Monster says:

Excuse my ignorance, but is Tassie it`s own country or a part of Oz, like Gibralter is a part of GB ?…………………..if a part of Oz, are there Tassies who want independance like nearly half the Scot`s want from GB ?………………..I could google it, but I like to hear from you Sheila`s ! 🙂

Off to bed here in Cornwall …………………where there are plenty who would like to see Cornwall get independance and I dont give a fcuk either way………………….will read any reply in morning if any so thanks Sheila`s ! 🙂

  71. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Independence? After you lot bailed on us back in 1973, & now seem to be wanting to come crawling back after brexit, we will let you know what we intend doing when it pleases us & only then 🙂 The only thing you have to offer us is trading money & China has plenty of that 🙂

…………And to address your final question LC “is Tassie it`s own country or a part of Oz, like Gibralter is a part of GB”

1.GB or England, which is it? &

2.Tonight I’ll go down to my old mates place, who lives 3 doors down from me, & ask him if his son James, who was Man of the Match in the 2015 cricket World Cup played @ the G, was playing for Australia or Tasmania?

I think that covers things 🙂

Morning all, another day in the crazy world which is Arsenal….

Ozil is an injury concern ahead of Saturday, good I say….

  75. rico says:

Well Adam, he’s always telling us how many jobs he’s turned down during his time at Arsenal, this is his chance to prove he’s not past it and with as much money as Barca seem to spend, we’d soon see if he’s willing to spend it.

Might tell us a lot if he goes there and I hope he does… 🙂

  76. Lee says:

Enrique “steps down” after 3 seasons, winning several trophies including 1 CL and 2 titles because of pressure!

    Meanwhile…..

  77. rico says:

Oh well, he’s just said he’s not interested in going there because his preference is to stay and improve….

    New post up now…

  78. Lee says:

It’s all spin about Barca offering Wenger a job unless they fancy coming fourth for a decade…
