Morning all.

The agent of Joel Campbell has taken a huge swipe at Arsene Wenger.Β Batica is quoted by O Jogo as saying:

Benfica fought until the last minute to sign Campbell but the moveΒ didn’tΒ happen because, in the last hour,Β Arsenal decided to keep him.

Wenger says he did not want to sell him. But if he is not in his plans, then why not allow him to leave?

He has a point. Not about selling him imo, but his playing time. Just 16 minutes so far and it’s not right nor fair, not when the hapless Frenchman his chance…. But we’ve been there eh…

Joel Campbell has to accept though that he’s part of a squad and his chance will come. Well it should and soon.

The transfer window is done and dusted for another four months and we have who we have. I had my rant yesterday and I’m done. Arsene Wenger is here to stay, unless of course the fans make their voices heard on match day and Stan Kroenke starts to get very concerned and takes action.

You got it, it isn’t going to happen, Stan won’t do a thing. Maybe he will get fed up though and walk away, especially if performance and results see us spiral down the table but I can’t see that happening either, not really.

We haven’t got a bad squad, on the contrary, we have a very good squad, it’s just not big enough to cope with what’s ahead….

But if it did all go wrong and theΒ fans let their feelings known from the stands each week, things might get a bit tricky for Stan Kroenke and Arsene Wenger. It happened at Liverpool not so long ago when the then owners Hicks and Gillett were pretty much forced out and they seem to have sorted themselves out under John Henry. It’s taken a couple of seasons and two different managers, but they are getting there…It pains me greatly to say that!

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that…

Right now we have the players we have, the manager we have, the owner and board we have so now I’m going to try and remain positive and get behind the lot of them….

Well, until the next game and the next transfer window cock up of course…. πŸ˜‰

Anyway, tonight is international night and all we can hope for is that they return home without injury.

I might even watch England to see our new signing in action. He took a knock on his ankle in training yesterday but it’s not serious so he should feature tonight and again on Monday..

New boy.....

New boy…..

Finally, today is a day of celebration for two HH regulars.

Happy birthday to Adam who is 21 again, I hope you have a lovely day wherever you are hiding.

And for Rocky and his wife, I truly hope everything goes like clockwork and a new young Gooner will arrive safely into this world…

Have a good day all…..
