Morning Gooners,

Talksport, everyone’s favourite radio station when it comes to Arsenal!! Not.

But despite the rubbish they so often spout, yesterday Ray Parlour was on there so I’m told (Allezkev) and he said the changing rooms are buzzing with anticipation since the new boys arrived, especially Santi Cazorla. Sahin signing is still in the pipeline of course and Arsene Wenger isn’t stopping there, he’s looking at bringing in a few more before the transfer window closes.

Makes you feel like a kid again doesn’t it on the last day of the term when you know six weeks of summer holiday’s are just around the corner….

Reports suggest that Santi Cazorla has travelled to Germany to join up with the squad after Malaga gave their permission, in the meantime they will sort themselves out and finalise this deal. Β One which the BBC report will be confirmed today!

Robin is there too as are two or our youngsters, Nico Yennaris andΒ Serge Gnabry. Talking of Robin, Juventus don’t want to sign him it seems, they are nowΒ targetingΒ Liverpool’s Suarez!

Nicklas Bendtner and Sebastian Squillaci are not in the travelling squad which is good, hopefully they will both be soon long gone..

Aaron Ramsey hasn’t travelled either, he’s been given some time off to recover from his involvement in Olympic football tournament, maybe he’ll get his voice back too, the one that couldn’t be bothered to sing GB’s National Anthem!!

Can’t seem to find out for sure ifΒ Andrey Arshavin has travelled but apparently we have received a Β£4 million offer from Galatasary for him. Whether that will prove to be enough to tempt our club to sell him or not though is another matter and of course the player may not wish to join the Turkish side.

Maybe it’s a ‘you can have Arshavin as long as we can have Sahin’ ? πŸ˜‰

I started with Romford’s own Pele, so I’ll end with him too.

Ray Parlour will make a sensational return to the FA Cup this weekend – five years after retiring. The Arsenal legend Parlour, 39, who has won the famous trophy four times and scored in the 2002 final, will join a group of former players for non-League ΒWembley’s FA Cup campaign.

Ex-England stars Martin Keown, 46, David Seaman, 48, and Graeme Le Saux, 43, plus ex-Argentina World Cup striker Claudio Caniggia, 45, and former US forward Brian McBride, 40, will also turn out – with former England boss Terry Venables in the dug-out.

All sounds like fun doesn’t it?

That’s it for today, a day that should see us finally announce the signing of Santi Cazorla and I wouldn’t bet against Sahin being confirmed either, there has to be a reason afc.com are keeping the travelling squad details quiet…

Don’t know about the dressing rooms buzzing, but I think we Arsenal fans are too…..

Have a good day all…..
