Morning all.
So where was Hanson last night on Match of The Day?? After all his knocking of us this season, did he not want to discuss the way we totally breezed past his beloved Liverpool??
I’m going to start with the bad points…
Ok, onto the game!
What a game is was too and one we could so easily have increased our goal scoring tally by five or six!
Liverpool started a lot quicker than us, they were clearly up for game. We however were prepared to play the waiting game, patience clearly running through the players mind.
Rosicky nearly opened the scoring early on but Mignolet somehow managed to get a touch on his shot, enough to see the ball go out for a corner.
The patience we showed paid off on 19 minutes when Sagna was released down the right. His cross found Giroud and Cazorla in the penalty area, the ball bounced and the little Spaniard powerfully headed towards goal, playing a perfect one-two with the post and then, having watched every move the ball made, followed through and fire home passed the helpless Mignolet.
How many times to we see players, not just ours, not follow up their attempt?
Not Santi, not yesterday and the way he finished was pure class.
If the first was good, the second was just as good, it really was another superb strike from Aaron Ramsey who for him, had a little below par game but when it mattered, he made his chance count.
Ramsey collected a little chip in from Ozil from the right, he let the ball bounce not once, not twice but three times before biding his time. As Toure turned his back, he unleashed a super strike into the top left of the goal which left Mignolet standing….
Toure said in the week that he wanted to prove to Arsene Wenger that he was wrong to sell him. Defending like that just goes to show that Arsene Wenger got that one spot-on! Had one of our defenders turned their back on a shot like that, I’d be livid…..
What else is there to say about the game?
Other than we out passed Liverpool, we were more accurate in front of goal despite Giroud missing a golden opportunity to get on the score-sheet, we defended far better than them, we we far more organised and tactically, Arsene Wenger was far superior to Brenda Rodgers!
The pundits might be tempted to suggest that Liverpool didn’t well and they’d be right.
But that was because we didn’t let them play, we were the ones closing down, we had the urgency, we had the desire to win and it showed in the result.
Totally and utterly deserved…
The downside was the injury to Kieran Gibbs, seeing him hobble off was horrid, he’s been playing so well this season, a huge part in a strong back five.
I don’t want to single any one player out for praise after that game. Football is a team game and that team worked their socks off yesterday and got The Emirates rocking again.
10 out of 10 for everyone, including Arsene Wenger and his team….
Oh, and who the heck is this ‘S&S’ partnership we were meant to fear???
Over to you all to pick the finer bones out of our performance….
I really don’t want to, not after beating the team sitting second of the league to open up a five point gap at the top….
That’s your lot…..
GET IN!!!!…Good read.
I was lucky enough to watch the game in HD on danish television.
The game was of such importance, and not once did I doubt that we would win. I had tears in my eyes like a small child after the game, and especially after the goals. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful…
Thanks Kt, great result, ok we missed a few chances, Ches had a moment of madness and a couple of other things happened but after totally playing them off the park, who wants to be picky today…
π
You old softie Adk π
Great post, as always.
We dominated them.
Sturridge proved he is totally over rated, and that his reputation this season is built on performance v average sides.
Suarez was a little down, but our boys up back were superb.
we look really good this year.lets hope with the players coming back we can sustain it.i want a win at Old toilet more than anything else now.we have to win there now.
Morning Rico. A very fair summation of what I saw yesterday. The Emirates was rocking for sure.
After weeks of playing far too narrow we stretched the game into wider areas and both assists came from wide right. It slightly stunted Ozil’s creativity perhaps but was too much for the Scousers and especially Kolo who looks like he and Sahko have shared too many bargain buckets of KFC. A right pair of lumps.
Rosicky looked like a man possessed or on crystal meth as he flew from side to side, making tackles, pushing forward with his hair flowing in the wind. He made Gerrard look like an old man.
After Brenda’s pre-game swipes at us it is always good to see his words rammed down his throat and any man who wears a black shirt with a black silk tie thoroughly deserves. He is fast becoming one of the PL’s great Planks.
Ha ha.. Rico, I guess The Arsenal brings out the sentimental in me π
And long may it continiue!
Now all I need is to see Walcott back in the squad π
Before every game when we meet this small nippy strikers like suarez sturridge aguero…we always hear how they would run rings around BFG but that never seems to happen.he is in fact rarely troubled.he is calmness personified always.his reading of the game and intelligence has got to be right up there.it also helps that he has a terrier like kos beside him.
Btw, does anyone know whats happened to Geoff and Pedro of Le-Grove? No post yesterday for the first time in years..
DK, nothing wrong with passion mate….brilliant to hear.
Adam, a few mates were at the game and reckon the atmosphere was electric.
Morning All…
Morning Rico, that, was a great read…
Thanks Scott..
Morning Adam – and I bet Suarez wishes he handed in a transfer request now.
As I said yesterday, I once rated Sakho highly but no more. You are right, he’s overweight, not very quick and Liverpool suit him nicely π
Their best player was Flanagan or what ever his name was at rb…
Hi Scott. It was mate and a reminder of the importance of the fans and atmosphere to the team and the whole club.
Ozil may have been slightly off the boil but he is so integral to our attack.playing him with santi and rosicky would mean we get so narrow but Ozil balances this out by drifting out wide whenever either of the aforementioned players drifted in.he keeps the balance and ensures we always have width at all times.his movement off the ball also mean he is always in space to receive the ball and is a great outlet to have.he is dovetailing perfectly in our well oiled midfield machine.and to think we still have so many players injured…
Adk, they bring out the best and worst in me π
Morning Kev, thank you…
Even on the television one could hear the fans go up a few notches after Santi scored and it stayed at the level pretty much until the end….
Fantastic…
Kev, can you feel the confidence growing amongst the fans?
I can even here in Oz.
Even the most conservative of fans are starting to ask if we actually are good enough to go on with the job.
It’s a great feeling, and the boys are really playing for the badge, and the fans.
It warms the heart π
If we beat our rivals we will win the league
No idea re Lg – i too noticed no post yesterday, quite unusual…
morning Rico & fellow gunners….good happy read.
sunday morning couldn’t be more sweeter ..
SAS gone into SOS plea,A.Hansen anyone?
Adam, absolutely right.
The players feed off the fans and vice versa.
The club has given the fan season to sing and they are.
I love it.
Rico. I remember you liked Sakho. I am sure he was at least a stone lighter when he played for PSG. π
Nobody is talking about it but what about the lazy pass from Sczesny that Sturridge almost scored from and in that same sequence the give away by Mertesacker than almost led to Suarez scoring … We played superb and dominated the game but its errors like these that will mess things up … I hope Bouldy or Arsene are looking at these things and pointing them out !
Also i love how well we pressed from the front yesterday especially Giroud and rosicky.it really helped and stopped pool from building up any momentum going forward.i hope we continue to improve on that front till we can reach the levels of the likes of Dortmund.
Rosicky’s energy level was amazing but it was Ramsey who in the first half was all over Gerrard so much that when Coutinho came on all action Stevie me sat back in front of his back four and hardly moved for the last half hour. Effectively Ramsey ran him ragged. We watched the scouser talisman go over the top of the hill yesterday and worryingly for England it’s all downhill from now on.Too many of the team played out of their skins , Giroud was immense and there were three or four candidates for man of the match. The crowd have started to get belief again , it was that good.
You’re looks like he has swallowed a sheep.
If he is fit I will bear my arse, which, I may add, is smaller than Kolos π
Rohan, we could all talk about two bad errors, but the 1267 things we did brilliantly gave us the win.
The injury to Gibbs is the only downer for me…
Hopefully it’ll only be a maximum of 3 weeks…
Podolski, Walcott, Sanogo, Flamini, all back over the next few days, hopefully.
It wouldn’t be Ches if he didn’t make at least one major cock-up each game.
Kev, it is lovely to know Nacho can slot straight in though….aaahhhhh, depth π
A bit of the Lehmann factor about him π
Monreal deserves some game time. He is a really good player. I wish we had the same options at right back.
Morning Kali, thanks – Sunday morning is a nice feeling π
Too many pies in Liverpool Adam..
Rohan, yes there were a couple of silly mistakes and I am sure they won’t be overlooked by Bouldy, and of course we need to cut them out but we won by totally outclassing a Liverpool side who many thought/think, can win the PL….
Scott, there is a great vibe on here today.
I must confess that my heart sank following the defeat to Chelsea midweek, and the manner of it.
Too often in recent seasons, a morale sapping defeat has seen past Arsenal teams descend into a succession of poor results, but yesterday made my spirits soar…
Adam, get that kettle on for Wednesday mate.
I got a good feel about visiting the Jerries…
Scott – Imagine if Sturridge had scored from that silly silly error — All im saying is we need to avoid those — Might sound like a pessimist but Sczesny definitely has that crazy side to his game which could cost us dearly during a crucial point of the season — I think he is a pretty good goalkeeper and I love him but he needs to work those moments of madness out of his system !
Me too Kev, I feel for him but at least we have Monreal to slot in nicely, he is so so good…
Maybe that will give Gibbs the rest he deserves..
I still fear Giroud getting injured, what he gives us is incredible, such a clever player..
Kev, the way you drink tea, Adam will need an urn π
I doubt there are many CFs who would give us what Giroud does.not even the media darling sturridge.Giroud is bossing it right now similar to how Drogba used to bully us.he also works immensely hard in both attack and defence.he also wins nearly all balls when we concede a setpiece.if he can be a bit more clinical he would be absolute gold.our midfield enjoys playing so much because he is like a brick wall that they can bounce passes off as we advance forward.
The urn is being installed tomorrow Kev. π
That’s what Nik should be trying to emulate Kt but he has neither the strength or belief. But then he never will unless he’s playing each week. He really has wasted his career…
There you have it Rico… π
Mrs Adam make a memorable cuppa whilst Adam strums out Little Wing.
What more could a Gooner ask for? π
Adam I can hardly wait mate… π
Kev, can you say Jerries??? Or Krauts, or Wurst munchers?? Be careful mate! There are the word police out there ready to arrest any lexicon benders!
Great write up Rico, I relived the game again. Sunday morning hasn’t been so sweet for ages!
Scott, you can’t beat a little depth… π
Ha ha Wavy, yeah, what Der Deutchlanders?
π Kev. An away win maybe? …..
Thanks Wavy, no wonder the sun is shining this morning….
Fair call Rohan, but we won 2-0, so why not focus on that?
The coching staff will sprt that out, we can just enjoy the spoils of victory π
Kev, the COC never worried me because i really thought it was the one title that carried very little weight if we won it anyway, so best be gone from it and concentrate on those we truly want to win.
I did feel we had to win yesterday so as not to get in a rut though.
Good morning, nice report rico. Some of the control and touches from Giroud were outstanding. If he had tucked away one of those two chances, he would have been another candidate for MOTM. Clearing defensively, beating players, he was really up for it. Suerez also missed two, one when he maybe should have passed, but he didn’t put the effort in Giroud does.
Rosicky made some great tackles as well, I thought Little Mozart was a bit lightweight in the past, but now he’s more injury free, he really is getting about.
Arteta? Best can say is didn’t miss Flamini, and that’s saying something. At least we are covered at LB with V and Monreal. Probably our best covered position on the pitch. Great stuff all round.
You know what i like about Giroud so much rico?…its the fact that despite him struggling in front of goal he never gave up.he worked so hard yesterday for the team.fans will always appreciate a player who puts a shift in despite not having the best day in the office.i hope he keeps it up.
Sturridge is very limited.
He does very, very little v good sides.
Arteta really played well yesterday similar to dortmund home game.his reading of the game must be right up there in midfield.he is making a mark in big games finally.
Thanks Ah.. I thought the ref was quite harsh on Giroud, not once, well until the end of the game did Atkinson give him anything yet time after time he was pushed and shoved…
Agree Kt and at times, he’s our best defender π
Back in 20…
As it goes Scott, the way the League Cup QF has panned out, leaves Chelsea, ManUre and Man City with the prospect of mega-tough SF and Final…
Whilst we can give our lads a rest, so you are probably 100% correct.
Mourinho vs Pellegrino at Wembley is what I’m hoping for, with all the associated baggage to feck with their heads…
Here’s hoping…. π
Kev, we have good depth, but not for 4 fronts.
2, definitely.
3….well, with few injuries from here on in.
Great summary as always Rico.
I am chuff end but must say I had settled for a score draw pre game. Even my mother was more confident about a Gooner win Friday night. Game was played at a frantic pace and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Og12 work rate is amazing, his touches and heading ability are sublime, wished he tucked one of those chances away. He brings so much to our system. Please wrap him in cotton wool. NB52 is not AFC quality – Sorry…
I was surprised with the empty seats visible on tele. The atmosphere sounded phenomenal and the crowd are really behind the team which is superb.
Please AW sign Bac to his 3year contract as he is the cog in our team and we CANNOT afford to lose him.
I am a very happy Gooner and quietly excited, humbly though.
Let us remain low key, united and supportive.
I am still wondering if we missed an opportunity with Remy.
Cheers
Gibbsy has been great. Montreal should slot in nicely. Being a big Jenks supporter I feel he needs a loan for some consistent play to be ready. It seems he has lost some confidence.
Thanks a117, you need to have more faith π
I have plenty if any fellow members need some, Rico π
Good post rico
Has anyone seen SAS?
Heard hansen is still looking for yester-years video reel when arsenal last dominated the dippers thats why he didn,t turn up for motd yesterday π
Good to see cazorla and arteta back to their almost best. Ozil still adjusting to the pace of the pl no wonder he said on twitter post match that the speed of arsenal game was like F1 ;). Sad about gibbo/wilshere wishing them a speedy recovery. Thank goodness arteta has got his grove back but it took several games to get there. Imagine an infom arteta with flamini, it will provide our attacking players d platform to do their thing. Jenks is like arteta who needs to be playing week in and out to get his mojo back. I would love a situation for him to play in d u21 to keep fresh so that when called upon he slots in seamlessly
Quietly confident we will win on wed as we usually do better away from home
Loving it. Top of d league and 5pts clear π
good post Rico – I agree on the Arteta post. If he is one on one his pace is an issue but he does some many things with class and composure so often. It’s so often the little things, like cutting out the grass between passes that so many miss. He uses his body as good as anyone in this league to shield oncoming tackles not only for himself but for others also. A true team player. A true Captain. Having said that, they were all very good last night and must maintain this level if we want higher than fourth. As we said with managers changes etc this is a huge opportunity for Wenger and the team, hopefully we can take it! Hats off to Rosicky as well, superb effort son!
Having said that .. I cant stop gushing about our midfield and Giroud … So much creativity and the best part is there are goals all over the midfield … In the past we’ve had the technicians who dont look to score but now we have goals all over the park … And Giroud — Oh my .. He’s fantastic .. gets everyone into play holds the ball up always troubles the opposition defense .. Our midfield will always flourishes when he is in the side … Just Brilliant !
π Scott, I’d never have known…. lol
Thanks emma, even though he’s not firing on all cylinders, he’s still bloomin good…

Thanks Oz, one of Arteta’s best games yesterday but as you say, so many played well too.
Few times there was a little too much space in the middle but hopefully Flamini will be back soon to fill those…
yes true Rico, although I don’t remember us giving some of the clear cut chances we have handed out lately. There has been adjustment i think and will need to be with the next two foes coming at us.
Suarez had one at the end Oz but other than that, pretty much nothing… Oh, and Henderson when through the middle in acres of space early on …
Well said rico, we pretty much bossed it yesterday, a few nervy moments at 1 nil but that’s the Arsenal way.
Thanks Micko, can’t believe what all the fuss about S&S is…
Come on you toffees, get at least a point today…
Interesting listening to one of the Everton players talking about life under Moyes compared to life under Martinez.
The first – he says that they played Scottish football, more physical sometimes.
The second, he said they play football the Spanish way – it’s much better and much more enjoyable…
I’m off for a couple of hours now…
Afternoon all,
A well written summary of proceedings.
Kev- are you Yaya Sanogo’s agent from Percy Street? π I love the way you have faith in most of our squad; its very refreshing imo…
And good to see the faithful happy this morning… hopeful on Wednesday no player will be labelled a ‘non-Arsenal’ quality’ player… π
A11730- ditto on Sagna.
He made his 250th appearance yesterday and was immense as always. He may make the podium as the best RB again if he maintains it; The 2nd best RB in EPL history after Gary ‘Reyes-kicker’ Neville unfortunately…
No Dev recently I hope he is not enjoying being over busy…
Percy Circus, Ginge…
Yaya Sanogo, not seen him play tbh except for brief highlights on the TV.
I hope he turns out another Wenger snip…
I’ll support any Arsenal player, as long as they deserve it….
The Spuds can kiss goodbye to two more points…
It’s been a very enjoyable weekend so far…
Nice result at Goodison…
Afternoon all…
Hi Rico, Kev…
Who was in charged for the spuddies? π AVB or Lloris? I didn’t hear the pundits make a fuss about a goalie refusing to come off the pitch live on TV…
Shows the advantage of having a balanced squad, age-wise, with the likes of Arteta, Rosicky, Flamini and Sagna all playing vital parts in the teams success this season…
Hi Ts..
Just needs a bit more depth Kev..
Afternoon Rico/Ginge…
Just parked off the A4 having a cuppa Rico…
Getting into training for the successive cups of tea Mrs Adam will be serving up this Weds.
She makes a wicked brew… π
The younger players finally have mature experienced players to learn from and go to for advice. Not too many years ago we had kids trying to learn from teenagers…
Depth is good Rico…
Let’s see what occurs this January…
Afternoon Kev, I’m having a hot chocolate, skinny version of course π
I saw Adam has an urn being delivered π
Two in Jan would be a positive window imho…
Yeah Rico, not only experienced players, but players who know how to win, players who know how to quickly recover momentum from a bad results..
A winning mentality…
Adam is an exceptional host Rico…
Every time I visit, I feel totally at home…
And the tea is memorable… π
Hmm hot chocolate…
Very nice Rico..
So what two or positions would you prefer in January Rico?
A striker and a centre-back for me…
That’s nice Kev, what do you reckon of our chances?
Hot chocolate was just the job after a nice walk in the gusty wind and sunshine. Cold but lovely….
Striker and a winger for me… but I can’t see AW going for a winger..
So a CB who can play DM… or a DM who can play CB π
Wonder if there is any legs to the Pato rumours…
Wenger was watching him years ago, and as is his habit, is probably still watching him…
Is this West Ham defender any good?
Khadeira and Reus would be good, but probably in the summer..
I’d love Lewandowski, but if Abramovitch starts flashing the Roubles, I suspect we’ll pull back from an offer…
Chances in Dortmund do you mean Rico?
Hmm, we won’t lose…
A draw wouldn’t be a disaster, but I really think we can go there and win.
I suspect that there’s a lot of frustration in our team, about the manner in which we lost at home…
There could be an element of “let’s show em” when we go there…
Bit like Ozil Kev, AW has been watching him for years…
Lewandowski might just prefer us though, if he takes a good look at what goes on at both clubs, there is only one winner imho.
Be a star with us or just one of many fighting for a place at Chelsea…
Don’t know anything about Reid, but WH fans reckon he’s a good no nonsense defender…
Ok, tea break over…
Lata
Go steady Kev…
We need TR07 to retire from international duties asap; plus a better team doctor/lady luck from injuries π then throw in 2 new players then we will be a force to be reckon with…
We have the most injuries amongst all the CL teams 2 and a half months into the season… 8 as it stands unless Poldi and Theo are fit to go…
I.Gundugan rumours have returned… ideal replacement for Arteta or TR07 imo
They’ll be many a rumour between now and Jan 31st…
Yevhen Konoplianka is another linked to us..
Hi Rico,
I have had a bit of a trawl through the blogs this afternoon and I am a bit surprised at a number of Arsenal fans saying ‘Pool should have had a draw, because of the number of chances they had.
Trying to be fair is all well and good, not that I understand that, but it is a little like saying the guy who got knocked out and lost to the world heavyweight champion only just missed the champions chin with a number of close punches and deserved a draw.
So ‘Pool had a chance or two = so what? We had other chances too.
We won – they lost – what’s the problem with these people? π
I wouldn’t mind Sven Bender..
Talking of Sven, the other one reckons he signed a contract in 2002 to take over from Fergie…
Hi Hb, I am stunned by that, thank goodness those fans don’t come on here..
No way did Liverpool deserve a draw….
Rico,
I saw Konoplianka in a couple of internationals and he looked really good.
The trouble is PSG and Barca are supposed to be after him too.
I am never surprised by folk – until I am – again. π
It is almost as if they would prefer to praise the ‘Pool, even though their manager, Brenda, admitted they were beaten by the better team.
Weird!
Hb, I read other clubs were looking at him but that shouldn’t mean we aren’t in with a chance.
Signing Ozil has put to bed all the stuff about us lacking ambition and not signing big players. Where Ozil has now tread, others may want to do the same, especially the better players.
Things are changing…. I hope π
Don’t worry about them Hb, they are not here to try and justify/explain their crazy view so let them be… If that’s what being an Arsenal fan is about for some people, then I’m just glad I’m not one of them…
Corinthians director Roberto de Andrade has not ruled out selling striker Alexandre Pato in the January transfer window.
Pato only joined Corinthians in January this year after spending five-and-a-half seasons with Italian giants AC Milan.
Speculation surfaced that Tottenham Hotspur tried to sign the Brazil international in the summer, with Pato claiming he rejected a move to White Hart Lane.
Recent reports have suggested that Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is planning a fresh approach for the 24-year-old, while north London rivals Arsenal have also been linked with a bid.
De Andrade does not expect to sell the former Internacional youngster to another Brazilian club, but is open to the prospect of cashing in on Pato in the New Year.
“Considering his value, I think it’s hard that he moves to another Brazilian club,” De Andrade told Radio Bandeirantes.
“If those two clubs (Arsenal and Tottenham) are interested in Pato, we don’t rule out selling him in the winter transfer market.”
Speaking earlier this week, Pato discussed Spurs’ reported interest in a deal, just a few months after his Β£12.2million move to Corinthians.
“Tottenham had called Corinthians to ask for my transfer,” Pato was quoted as telling Brazilian TV station SporTV.
“I sat at the table with the club and my agent and I decided I wanted to stay.”
Pato’s performances for Corinthians resulted in a recall to Luiz Felipe Scolari’s national side for the recent friendlies against Portugal and Australia.
You are right Rico.
That was one of the best games I have seen for a long time and we were fantastic. π
Ozil is a class act and no one can argue with that but he has brought out the best in others too and so many of the team performed at the highest level, and we would beat anyone playing like that!!!!!
I am still grinning!
Boooooo! Can’t stop smiling. π
I just think signing a player of that quality has lifted the side, we saw great improvement at the end of last season but it was clear in the summer that many players wanted AW to sign some quality and he did just that with Ozil..
Just a shame he didn’t go one step further and sign a striker too…
π Hi agag, good…
Hello, rico. Imagine what ANOTHER top,top signing could do. Bring on the Krauts!
Evening all, good write up Rico.
I believe you were right in your post when you said we could have scored many more, and i must admit i had been screaming at the tele to take the Fcuking shot only to see another back pass or an under hit pass. Liverpool had a very bag day, not taking anything away from our boys who took the two goals well, but all the same it took forever, I am never happy to see both our centre backs come up for every corner i am also unhappy with them staying up when there is a loose ball situation, Merts is the slowest defender in the league si i dont think he should pass the halfway line especially when were a goal up. Overall we managed a fine win which was very pleasing but as i said before Liverpool were very bad on the day. and a flurry of goals should have been recorded. Szezesney who i have moaned about held his ground on one occasion he stayed between his sticks and eventually collected an easy ball he does look as if he is learning something i thought was too difficult for him.
I’m nervous for Weds agag…
Thanks Sp, I too was thinking shoot, especially as Mingolet seemed very nervous and slighty suspect..
But I just happy we got the result after what I honestly believed was a very good performance. Didn’t think Merts let himself down at all tbh… His positioning makes up for his speed most games…
I’m not, rico. We go to Dortmund with confidence and a point to prove. Potent combination. π
I stand corrected then Rico, I’ll watch his positioning at the next corner.
Cardiff beat Swansea and Vorm sent off… Didn’t expect that result…
Fingers crossed agag….
I meant when defending in open play Sp… I don’t like all our defenders going up for a corner either, it leaves us vulnerable to a break…
Dinner to get now, back in a bit…
Evening. Have you noticed that the League table has been shown a number of times on programmes this weekend, but its been removed so quick before there’s time to enjoy it!
Ha ha Andrew, who cares, we know where we are π
I’m off for the day, television to watch… π
Night all…..
Strictly and X Factor….. π
The Jungle is on it’s way soon Rico. π π
Morning all.
Downton Abbey & The Paradise too Kev. Looking forward to the jungle too…… π
Morning Scott and all…
Hi Rico.
Just read Jose will be trying to sign a striker in January, that’ll be Lew at the top of his list then…
And rightly so, Jack’s goal was voted goal of the month, was there ever really any doubt?
Considering it will goal of the season…no π
Exactly! The perfect team goal…
Good day all you Gooners, need i say anything as everybody has said it all already. one thing i must mention is that a few weeks ago AW said that BFG is the best defender in PL, is he right or what? Between him and Arteta i would give my MOTM, but it is so difficult because every gunner on that pitch deserves the MOTM, when last have you seen each player in a team put in a good shift. Hope this team play lasts through the season, then in May we WILL BE Champions.
Bfl – I’d say he’s up there near some of the best, as is Koscielny imho…
Kozzer and Merts compliment each other beautifully.
Merts timing of a tackle is second to none…his positioning is the same.
New post up now..
Agreed there Scott..
