Send him packing! Arsenal stoop to an all time low under Arsene Wenger!

Morning all.

I started to write about yesterdays match but then I deleted what I’d written as what’s the point? We’ve been here before so many times, it’s not worth repeating myself yet again.

Yesterday was a chance to prove our victory over Man City was no fluke but as we all probably knew, it was. Yes we battled hard in that semi-final but against Tottenham, no-one turned up. The team selection was odd to say the least as the ineffectual Olivier Giroud was again up front on his own. Alexis Sanchez had a game to forget, as did the ever lazy Mesut Ozil. In fact not many can be proud of the way they performed yesterday. Certainly not Arsene Wenger!

Hang your head in shame!

I’m not fussed about Tottenham finishing above us, I’m really not because unless we win the league, we’ve failed and this season we’ve failed like never before under Arsene Wenger. Yes the loss to the neighbours hurts but what hurts more is the manner in which we were beaten just as it’s been so often throughout this season and seasons before. We are too soft, a reflection of man who coaches them.

There’s no leadership in the squad, there’s little to no organisation on the pitch, players who are out of form are being selected ahead of those who would give more to the side and we have a manger who just sits and watches the game but does nothing. Well, nothing until it’s too late.

Wenger’s aim remains the top four and yesterday he had a chance to get a toe in there after both Manchester teams dropped points but no, he sent out a weak and disorganised team. Rob Holding, who’d performed so well against City was dumped on the bench. Ozil and Giroud – two players who aren’t going to get stuck in for the team are they? Giroud falls over far too much and Mesut, well all he did was jog up and down the right hand side, leaving Oxlade-Chamberlain with a lot to do. Not playing Mohammed Elneny remains a mystery too unless he’s injured.

Anyway, as we’ve said time and time again, Wenger could sign Lionel Messi but he’d probably play him at right-back!

If the board and majority shareholder had any balls, they’d be telling Arsene Wenger this morning that his time is up. No new contract as this club needs to move forward and the Frenchman isn’t the man to do that.

Neither he, or his coaches should be at the club when the new season kicks off.

    Thx for taking the time to even write a post Rico I can’t fault you if ya wanna step back for a while.

    I didn’t watch the game and tbh I actually feel better for it. i cant stomach this team anymore and just the sight of Wenger infuriates me I so wish he’d fuck off…

    The board are so useless it’s unreal any forward thinking club would have had a plan in place for wengexit and a good manager would know when it’s time. instead at Arsenal we have a board asleep at the wheel and a manager who can’t except he’s fucking shit.

    All the arseholes who were crying be careful what you wish for.. I wonder what they think now.

  2. DB10 says:

    If any of us were as inept as AW in our jobs, we wouldn’t last a month! He’s been destroying our club for the past 7 years and has been given free reign to do so. It is an absolute disgrace! Where will it end? Relegation? Nottingham Forest made the same mistake with Clough – too much power and random, illogical thoughts which led to the European Cup winners falling off the map! Is there nobody at Arsenal who cares enough to sack him?

    Am sick and tired of poor excuses and even poorer displays. If we have players who ‘don’t want it as much as the opposition’ then, quite frankly we don’t want them, and I include Ozil and Sanchez in that statement as both yesterday were deplorable. I would rather field our entire ‘B’ team than suffer another 90 minutes of no passion, moaning and second rate football.

    I have said many times before – failure to re-invest in a business and refusal to move with the time only gets you one thing – a second rate, out of touch failing empire.

    He must go, and it MUST BE NOW!!

  3. rico says:

    It’s getting harder each day Kel. Just feel like we are all saying the same thing, day in day out. Maybe that’s because we are and until he goes, we’ll carry on saying the same thing…

    He’s got to go…

    Goo move not watching, we were awful.

  4. rico says:

    Db, I think he’s lost the dressing room. We are going through what Chelsea went through last season when their players turned on Mourinho…

  5. Adam says:

    Morning Rico. Yesterday was a complete shambles from top to bottom. The evidence that Wenger must leave is incontrovertible and self-evident. If there is an argument for him staying I cannot see it. But, as Kev pointed out yesterday, defeats are perhaps the only way forward and what a ridiculous position that is for a football club – at any level. Perhaps if we had flukes a win yesterday it might have strengthened Wenger’s hand when talk of the new contract again rears its head. That simply cannot be allowed to happen surely.
    If he can peek through the clouds of embarrassment he is heaping upon himself and the club perhaps he will see that simple honesty from everyone involved is the way forward. But the way he is carrying on is shameful really and I find it interesting that we have heard no words of support for him from Ivan or Chips and the look on Bouldy’s face yesterday as Wenger was moaning about the goals conceded said more than words.

  6. Kel says:

    DB all those yrs of champions league he failed to build from a position of strength and the board didn’t mind.

    The yr we didn’t sign a single outfield player was the final straw for me that was the epitome of failure imo.

    So now we’re left in a position that we can’t attract top players maybe even a top manager as we are a club on the decline.

  7. rico says:

    Morning Adam. I too think Kev is right, we need a few more hefty and embarrassing loses as only then will Wenger be slightly ready to concede defeat.

    Ivan and Chips silence speaks a thousand words..

  8. Chisom says:

    Best article I’ve read about arsenal. It’s rather heart breaking to see a team u love passionately crash so low with no plans to improve. It’s also rather unfortunate that the Arsenal board have no regards whatsoever for the fans all over the world who stick their necks to support them despite all the folly of the old fox. It’s again very annoying that a man like Arsene can’t honourably take a bow and leave now . It’s time for a huge change from the board to the coaches to backroom staff etc .

  9. DB10 says:

    Sadly Kel, I agree. Even sadder, I cling on to the feint hope that my beloved Arsenal will wake up before it is too late. Trouble is, groundhog day is rolling round for about the eighth consecutive season and I am beginning to think that prospective managers look at the club and think ‘what the hell is going on at board level?’ Catastrophic doesn’t even scrape the surface.

    Rico – well done for even posting. Sad times but as always, a quality blog.

  10. Adam says:

    Morning Kel. I think we have all the things required to grow again but we certainly need some resolve from the owner and the board. Simply letting Wenger get on with it without any checks or balances is absolutely killing us at the moment. I also think that the Arsenal job is still very attractive to any number of top managers. Probably more so these days since Wenger lost the plot. The man who built this fag-end team surely cannot dismantle it. It just won’t work.
    If Wenger gets a new contract the place will be like a powder keg and the ramifications for the future will be dire.

  11. Adam says:

    Rico. If they aren’t then we are in serious trouble just as the Season Ticket demands are due to be sent out.

  12. Le Coq Monster says:

    Morning all and thanks Rico.

    Weird yesterday as in the past I have dredded this game even when we have been way out in front of the scum, but yesterday for the first time in years I was resigned to expect a loss and when the inevitable happened I wasn`t my usual down in the dumps after a loss to them !
    In a way I`m relieved that they have finally avoided a St Totteringham`s Day and can move on.

    My worry for the future is can this non footballing board get us a new manager we the fans know we need ?.
    Looking at the comments I know we…we all know we need a new manager, we have known for years, but I`ll say it again, it`s the shower of shit above him who haven`t sacked him !…..and they are all as guilty for our current situation as Wenger himself.
    As usual I`m with Kev in that it has to get worse before the penny sinks in and it gets better…………….although I cant bring myself to want that “worse” to be to lose the FA Cup Final……………..just lose all the rest of the league games ! 🙂

    I`ll be disappointed if we dont have Lee and Herb on here giving it some X-Rated stuff ! …………..I need to be entertained ! hahaha

  13. rico says:

    Thanks Chisom.

    It’s all very painful eh. Just wish the man himself would see that it’s him destroying the club and leave.

  14. Wavy says:

    Just at the moment the club stinks from top to bottom. Who knows what is going on? I’m not going to waste my time identifying every individual who has displayed an inability to grab the problems by the balls. Give them a squeeze and sort them out! Starting with Kronke and probably finishing with the tea lady!
    ‘Be careful what you wish for’ yeh right! I didn’t wish for any of this crap! AKB’s are total f**k wits, like the manager himself. He’s not only past his best before date he’s past his use by date too, in fact he’s past his condemned by date. Time for him and his ancient staff to leave and be replaced by a new 21st century team. He was one of the 20th century’s best but he’s still living the old dream. We need a new broom! Sorry brooms!
    As for a good new manager coming in, first you need a vacancy…..need I say more? Allegri, Simeone, Jardim etc are all pipe dreams. The same as many of the quality players who are much discussed on here but who never materialise because, strangely we don’t seem to have enough cash! Where does it all go??? Why isn’t it spent?? Has silent Stan got an escape pipeline down which all our profits are passed to him and his? Why isn’t he remotely proactive? Why is Usminov denied a right to sit on the board? Etc etc too many questions and far too few answers.

    The form that has been on show since Xmas has been little short of dreadful. On current displays far from chasing top 4 we are more in danger of entering a relegation struggle. I have to say this is what we can look forward to if Wenger and his team continues in post. The club is showing the same signs as Forest and their insistence of keeping ,’old big ‘eat in charge. And look where they are now, in danger of being relegated into division 3!

    Rant over, for now I have better things to do with my time than waste it on the shower of inertia that are presently inhabiting the Emirates Arena!

    Time for a change, and the time is now!

  15. rico says:

    Morning Lc, similar to you, I expected nothing from the game but with the players we have, a disciplined, proactive and reactive manager would have got a victory there yesterday. Of that I’m convinced…

    Wenger has no imagination any more. Giroud?? I ask you, who on earth would have a) played him, or b) left him on the pitch for so long? Same with Ozil, bleedin wimp!

  16. Le Coq Monster says:

    I think that even the AKBs know that it is time for Wenger to move on, but the trouble with them is that they are suffering from…….The Stockholm Syndrome……..having emotional attachment feelings for their chief tormentor and torturer !

  17. Kel says:

    Adam all that money that Arsenal and wenger saved or refused to invest depends how you wanna look at it.

    For me it was a refusal to spend due to his arrogance for yrs we were 2 top players away from being the real deal but yet every summer went by and we all felt disappointed about transfers.

    now every penny of that money needs to be invested by a new manager the last thing we need now is Wenger spending it on more useless crap.

  18. potter says:

    The board has been complacent since the removal of David Dein , it won’t change until someone sits up and starts banging the table . I just listened to Charlie Nicholas on talk sport through the haze of waking up following a long lie in. He has just depressed me even more than I already was. He could have been reading from a script written by any one of us. Wenger’s time is up and his prevarication has totally affected the players and the crowd. The boards inactivity is shameful , a once proud club being dragged down by people that either don’t know or care. Players that no longer want to play for him, players that play well for their countries in different systems but at Arsenal look average because they can’t play the Arsene way. With all the contracts about 11 players with one year left , he says the whole club needs a new outlook from owner , board manager and players. Also if Wenger stays and Chelsea are offering £ 60 million for Sanchez then sell him because he isn’t playing the right way to get anything like the best from him and sell Ozil too for the best you can get . Get the money in with a new man up top and start to rebuild.

  19. rico says:

    Good comment Wavy. As you say, many questions of which we have no answer…

    Why there’s even a contract on the table I’ll never know. That’s if there is one of course.

  20. rico says:

    Lc, reading around the blogs, there’s still a chunk of fans who think he’s the right man. Lord only knows what they are smoking.

  21. DB10 says:

    Potter – Dein left because the dinosaurs on the board feared that he would bring in Usmanov – hence the invention of Red and White holdings. I seriously think that there must be a case for the fans to take the club to the European Court of Human Rights!!

  22. Le Coq Monster says:

    As I said Rico…..they are suffering from ….The Stockholm Syndrome !……………they need councelling from trained psychology professionals…..serious !…………………at least they are on drugs !……where`s the drugs for us who are sufferering from years of torture and know it that we dont want Wenger ! 🙂

  23. Le Coq Monster says:

    I still find it unbelievable that a man who has over 30% of shares in Arsenal Football Club is not on the board of directors !………………….how the fcuk do Chips and `arris get on there ?………….who votes for these numbskulls ?…………..is there a vote ?………………….how do you get on the board ?

  24. Le Coq Monster says:

    What are the most deranged AKB sites ?…………………..I feel I need to go on them and treat them to some councelling !…………they need to be slapped out of their delusional state as the drugs are clearly not working ! 🙂

  25. Mabo says:

    Wenger will not be able to sort the rot that he started. Big mystery remains regarding Elneny and Perez. Wenger chose Ramsey over Elneny whose a workhorse. Ramsey can’t even kick the ball these days. Even when he tries to change he still wants to fit his favourites in the game. Giroud is like an elephant in the room really and how he gets picked I’m sure I don’t know

  26. Alex says:

    Good morning Rico

    Is obvious that the Le Prof has nothing to offer nor his back staff.

    The general view is to sack them all.
    Question is how much it cost to replace them ?
    I believe that is what matter for Kronke.
    Do you think Kronke is ready to pay compensation for remaining contracts time of all those unwanted and replace them with top notch ones ?

    As it stands or next season without CL …what are the financial implication ?

    I believe the owner does not give a rat of football winning or loosing as long money is coming.

    Le prof know that for long time and has worked through this strategy cannily.

    Himself is not bothered to win.Bar Sanchez there is no one that you can see playing with that winning passion or mentality.

    Do you think in this squad there is any one who will feel sick after loosing a game ?No

    Players like Feo who does not have any merit to stay on an elite club stays for an entire decade.

    Gibbs happy to play second fiddle for decade.

    Le Prof planted these numb entities into every where and the status quo will not change.

  27. Dublingunner says:

    What,s the point is right Rico, in the immediate future nothing is gonna change, so suck it up.. couldn,t get myself up for the game yesterday, didn,t watch it, shows the desire I have at the moment for all things Arsenal, not much can be added to what has already been said on here,
    The board are just shameful to let this go on any longer, Don,t know why you bother sometimes Rico, must be hard for ye….
    Oh ye City was a Fluke, like Leicester!!!!

  28. Meerkat says:

    I agree with LC re the fear of change being akin to ‘Stockholm Syndrome’. It is exactly that.
    However, that fear needs to be shaken out of everyone, because we are going nowhere (apart from down), which for a club like Arsenal is totally unthinkable for the fans.

    What to do though? Clearly no amount of protesting has any effect. I can just see Stan reading the reports of the protests, and thinking ‘fuck them’ tbh. He is happy and he is a stubborn, hard headed, hard hearted, businessman.
    The board are dummies who don’t know their arse from their elbows.
    They will not want to pay all the redundancy required to get shot of all the dead wood, because they are tight arses.

    So, it’s not going to be enough to have le prof leave, that won’t even scrape the surface.
    I don’t agree that these players are good enough, but mismanaged. They are not good enough.
    Those of us that think if only Cazorla was available things would be any different, are very wrong. He is finished in the top flight. Too old, too slow, and never going to be fit enough for the EPL again.

    For the first time yesterday, in his post match interview le prof looked really uncomfortable.
    I think he may be rethinking his position and may leave after the cup final disaster.

    Who will Stan appoint though? I never thought I’d say this, but if the Toon don’t hang on to Raffa, he would be a good option to tear into everyone at the club and not give a toss who he upsets.

    Other than him, then who is there who would be willing to work under the constraints imposed by Stan and his board? David Moyes? Claudio Ranieri? God help us.

    If that were to come about, I too would be agreeing with the ‘careful what you wish for’ brigade.

  29. Herb's Army says:

    Hi Rico and HH.

    Hi Cornwall.
    You know what mate, I can’t be bothered.
    There was a time when I’d be all over this venting pure rage, but what’s the point?
    When I think about all those bloggers gloating about Wenger, and attempting to make some of us look like idiots from their higher moral ground for ever daring to question him, I’m done.
    I remember Raddy, Peaches and LB sharing their delight when Wenger signed his new contract in 2014. Three incredibly successful people without an ounce of common-sense regarding our Football Club, all looking down their noses at anyone who questioned our French parasite.
    Never mind getting humiliated at Liverpool, Chelsea or even Everton, we beat the mighty Hull in extra-time at Wembley. Clearly it’s okay to literally hand the title to your rivals (see RvP), we’ve got much smaller fish to fry, and are more than happy with that.
    Not only has it become acceptable to get routinely thrashed and humiliated by our ‘rivals’, if you’re not singing There’s Only’One Arsene Wenger’ with gusto from the roof-tops, clearly there’s something wrong with you!.
    Wenger is slaughtered on many radio shows, and yet when they question him before or after a game they turn into weak, wet little sycophants grateful that he has given them his time.
    The whole thing is a stage-managed farce, the sport has been taken away from the passionate die-hard working-classes and no longer represents what I grew up supporting.
    Until they recognise us fans and our wishes, I refuse to recognise them.
    Wenger and Kroenke’s Arsenal means nothing to me.

  30. George says:

    Good afternoon all

    Just read through most of the comments.Have to say , its doom and gloom and that shitshow at those Clowns at Spurs doesn’t help lift the mood.

    There is definitely off pitch behind the scene stuff going on we don’t know about.I have to say our board suck, and agree with Potter that since David Dein left, we have been poorly managed off the field.

    On it , there are too many players simply not good enough and there will be a big clear out. As for the manager, he will stay but i don’t think that’s best for us. We haven’t developed as a team and when we sign good players, we simply regress them rather than improve them in training.

    He has lost the dressing room, and i fear the FA cup final will go the chavs way as they go onto to the double.

    Scary times for us …I want Dein back, Wenger on the board and upstairs and a whole restructure of management and coaches. We need to spend a lot of money to sign improvements on the garbage we have and cut or losses on players clearly no longer at the required standard. I mean Ramsey , Walcott and Gibbs….been at the club ten years or so, not really improving….

    Watch Perez move and do well overseas….sods law….and we have Sanogo still here but let Gnabry leave…that baffles me.

  31. rico says:

    Afternoon Alex, Herb and all.

    Dublin, there is little point until Le Fraud has left really as all well be doing is repeating ourselves each day. We’ll win one, lose one, draw one over and over. In fact I wouldn’t bet against already relegated Sunderland beating us in a few days time…

  32. rico says:

    George, I reckon you’re right about off field stuff going on. I really hope there’s a big fight over whether he stays or not and Ivan, Chips get their own way….

  33. rico says:

    Herb, I’d love to see him pushed more during his interviews but as Jake from Bt Sport found out, any tricky questions get ignored..

  34. Alex says:

    Say..Le prof has made clear to the board that he do not want to sign any new contract…..
    Then what?
    The board and Kronke

    A will aggree
    B have no clue what to do
    C They will beg him to stay for at least a year

    B all the time for me

  35. George says:

    Dein and Usmanov in… a steady manager like Sampaoli (keeps Sanchez put) and 250m spend after recouping some cash from sales would be great.

    i reckon we would get the below:

    Walcott =12m
    Gibbs =3m
    Jenks=2m
    Debuchy=2m
    Zelalem=3m
    Willock =1m
    Akpom=1m
    Sanogo= a tenner
    Martinez= 1m
    Ospina =6m
    Szcseny= 3m
    Ramsey =14m
    Perez =14m
    Giroud=10m
    Coquelin=4m
    Gabriel=5m
    Ozil =25m
    Monreal=4m
    Elneny =4m
    Xhaka =16m (big loss)
    Mustafi =15m

    If we have our hand forced,

    Sanchez =40m -in last year of contract
    Chambo=17m -in last year of contract
    Bellerin =20m
    Koscielny=22m

  36. Alex says:

    @George

    Saling 21 players in one go ??? Are you for real ?

    I agree with you that none of this current crop ecsite me and i dont give a toss all sold/loaned or disappear where ever.

    Even the so thrumpeted Sanchez is not that is performing wonders though surrounded by a bunch of shites .

  37. George says:

    Alex, after seeing the performances against Palace Spurs and Watford…yep

    Major surgery

  38. frednerk says:

    Afternoon Rico and All

    Spent the day with the Gooners hard core if I can say that.
    Ended up in the pub next to holloway road station.
    Most were locals and live The Arsenal day and night.
    Not one supporter did I speak to who wanted Arsene to stay.
    Nearly all were away supporters not season home supporters,
    I may have that wrong though.
    Funny…..No one mentioned The Syrup.
    Being an EastEnder getting beat by the spuds
    never hurt me as much as it hurts the locals.

    The next home game could be telling for Arsene.

    David Deane brought The Syrup to The Arsene.
    Do we really want him back?

  39. kelsey says:

    I can’t be arsed anymore.They should have read the small print before offering Kroenke all those shares
    There is no relegation in the NFL jusy money spinners in all the franchises.

    Hi Herb, I was called a doomer when I went against the tide even before 2014.

  40. Herb's Army says:

    Hi Kelsey.

    I always looked forward to your early morning posts, they were always on the money for me.
    I remember they used to light-heartedly poke fun and call you a ‘doomer’, and maybe they were a little more generous to you than me because of your status on the blog, and friendships with the admin and Micky etc.
    My tone might sometimes have been seen as abbrassive and argumentive, but they don’t like getting into the meat of a discussion, they’re right I’m wrong and if the bear is poked too much…we end up looking for more sensible, intelligent people who aren’t afraid to talk about the rot at our club.
    Sadly Kelsey, the current Arsenal malaise is all on them and everyone else who worships Wenger.
    In all honesty, I’ve despised him ever since the 8-2 at OT in 2011.

  41. frednerk says:

    A year after he became chairman of Arsenal, Hill-Wood sold the bulk of his shares to a young sugar trader – David Dein – for £290,250. At the time, Hill-Wood said he thought Dein was “crazy – to all intents and purposes it’s dead money”.
    Dein sold his shares to Usmanov for £75 million.

    Talk about make a killing.Guys.

  42. Adam says:

    I agree with lots of the comments today and what comes through is an exasperated sadness that I feel too. We are going round in circles aren’t we? Failure is heaped upon failure with what seems like zero accountability. Who could possibly believe that Wenger is the man to take the team into the future? And for sure there must be huge question marks over the owner and the board too but perhaps we will get a better idea about that soon. Everything about the club can only be viewed through Wenger it seems and his stubborn reluctance to accept how low he has bought the team, the club and the fans.
    But the end of the season brings a natural break and the chance to sort the whole humiliating mess out.
    Personally, my confidence in that happening is low.

  43. rico says:

    I too think we’ll find out a lot about he owner and board this summer, even more if they change the manager..

  44. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Morning rico1 & all,

    I’ve calmed down, a little bit anyway, from my mood just after listening to the game on radio. You can’t ride off into the sunset rico, coz venting with others is sometimes the best remedy during these times, & you have the key to the venting room ?

  45. allezkev says:

    Hey Rico, how about Born to Kill and The Good Fight, I think you’d like them as well…

    I’ve totally forgotten about Arsenal all day, been having a nice time with visitors, so am going to catch up now, although I can guess it isn’t going to lighten the mood around our shambolic club

  46. allezkev says:

    Oh dear, that was oh so very depressing, but completely understanding.

    Man Ure will finally kill off any faint hopes we have of CL this weekend, because even a draw isn’t good enough as that’ll be 5 dropped points from the last 6…

    After that it doesn’t really matter.

    And don’t think that Southampton (a) and Stoke (a) will make us feel any better, because the most I can see from those two is a draw and a defeat.

    Can you imagine the atmosphere at the Emirates on Tuesday, May 16th if we’ve dropped more points at St Mary’s and the Potteries?
    Arsenal vs Sunderland could be like a funeral, in fact it wouldn’t surprise me to see the crowd dip below 45,000.

    The club don’t announce attendances because they are cowards.

    Yep, the build up to the FACup final could be absolutely dreadful…

    Roll on the summer.

  47. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Good Evening North London & Surrounds,

    Wow! there looked to be a far bit of frustration, 22 years of frustration to be precise, vented @ the travelling Arsenal support in Tottenham. If anyone was there, did those ‘old’ grey headed fellas look even more stupid close up? 🙂

  48. Adam says:

    Morning Rico. Our club has achieved a state of limbo it seems. I just hope that the powers that be recognise that fact. Wenger is driving that wedge deeper and deeper into the fan base now. His inaction is crippling us.

  49. Adam says:

    Rico. It certainly feels that way doesn’t it? Perhaps wiser heads will prevail though. It’s easy to put two and two together and make a prime number these days but every game and the subsequent comments from Wenger bring a crushing silence from Gazidis and the board. Surely they won’t want to go down with the sinking ship.

  50. allezkev says:

    Adam, I don’t think they have a clue what to do…

    The Board/Owner seem to be a collective state of shock, the enormity of the task coupled with their inactivity since 2014, has slammed into them and it’s almost as if they’re in a daze, hoping to wake up from some awful nightmare and discover that it’s all ok again.

  51. rico says:

    Adam. The silence from Gazidis and the board could be good news for us. If there’s a bit of a battle at that level over whether Wenger stays or not, then fingers crossed. I can’t see Ivan wanting to stay on if Wenger signs up, not after his ‘change’ comments. Maybe I’m being to optimistic but where there’s hope, there’s hope.

    But if winning the FA Cup means he stays, then I hope Chelsea win the double.
