Morning all.
Sorry, I was busy with my own stuff yesterday so I couldn’t knock out a post. Great shame though, as for the first time in yonks, a flick from Aaron Ramsey ended up with us scoring. Ok, in all seriousness, his pass was perfect, and so was his other one which led to a goal. Go Aaron, go Aaron!
I do worry about our midfield pairing because both Ramsey and Xhaka like to get forward which leaves the defence exposed but that seems to be the way Wenger sets us up, but it’ll cost us against stronger and better teams.
And tomorrow we’re up against exactly that in Man Utd and the ghastly Jose Mourinho. They might be without Matic, although I suspect he’ll make a remarkable recovery, we’ll be without Lacazette who I thought was very good against Huddersfield on Wednesday evening. Hopefully the Frenchman will make a speedy recovery as the thought of Ollie leading the line hardly excites does it? Yes he nabbed a couple of goals the other night, one of which he robbed off Kolasinac but his lack of speed really upsets the way Arsene Wenger likes us to play.
I hope Wenger goes for Welbeck on the wing with Sanchez replacing Lacazette in the middle. Despite a few rumours surrounding the fitness of Sanchez, Wenger has said he expects him to be fine for tomorrow. The rest of the team pretty much picks itself although Wilshere will no doubt be hoping to dislodge one of our midfielders.
Talking of the Chilean, I was listening to Charlie Nicholas the other morning and he was talking about the situation surrounding both Alexis and Mesut contract situation and he said that if one of the two had to be sold, he’d sell the Chilean. Of course he’d like both to stay and extend their contracts but like us, he can’t see that happening. Mesut he said is perfect for Arsenal. Something like that anyway and to be honest, I was surprised. Out of the two, I’d like Alexis to stay but as said, I think any chance of that happening has gone.
1st of December today so White Rabbits to all Gooners out there. The countdown begins to not only when the big guy makes an appearance but also the January transfer window. Arsene Wenger has done his best to try and convince us that no one will be leaving next month but in all honesty, I can’t see that being the case.
There’s going to be plenty of transfer talk both incoming and outgoing and the one we’re being linked to today is Czech midfielder Jakub Jankto who currently plays for Udinese. He’s 21 years old, has already played for the national team and The Mirror reckon we’ve been scouting him for over a year. Other big European clubs are after his signature but Arsenal are ‘winning the race’ to sign him they say.
I’d have thought a defensive midfielder and central midfielder would be more important in January, that’s if Arsene Wenger is planning on making any signings. Perhaps Sven Mislintat has one or two ideas up his sleeve..
Have a good Friday guys…

Sorry about the typos, darn iPad… lol
Good post, as usual!
I’m gusted for you all those knee pad, I mean iPad typos!
Poison dwarf in the dugout, sha la la la la!
I should so love it, love it if we stuffed it up ’em! 2-0 would make me very happy……I might even change my mind about Wenger if we win this one. Should we do the unthinkable and lose, I’ll be back to Wenger out. This is his last chance saloon, for me.
Very bright and blue skies here nearly 11.00 and the frost is still all over the car! V. Cold.
Afternoon all!
Sanchez out?
How long Lecazette would be out?
Thanks Wavy. I’d love Wenger to beat that horrid man good and proper, however….
Three weeks I reckon Jm, Alexis is ok though. Well, according to AW.
Afternoon Rico and All
Looking at the backroom staff,the
changes seem to have been made.
But……No English faces,or ex-player’s,
time will tell..On that.
Arsene says.
Ozil and Sanchez are happy and maybe,
could stay..Could it be two free transfers?
I find it hard to believe players that run down
contacts and sign for the next team, will risk
a tiggle on the shinpad, from Jan to May.
The spin continues.
Afternoon Fred. Sorry, I d given up for the day as it’s dead on here..
Evening all and thank you Rico.
Lovely 😎 day here !
Yes we are going great guns at home and everything looks good on the exterior of 4th place, new chief scout and new in all but name DoF, but as great as it is in beating the Spuds, it will all be forgotten when the true shit hits the fan and we lose both our prized assets before the next season starts, this is what was supposed to never happen again, but it has or will !…………………………only one man to blame and that`s Wenger and he cant argue against that.
Both them players not starting our opening game of next season is a disaster as we know they are irreplaceable talent wise !………………….can anyone on here say who we can realistically replace them with and who are as good or better ?…………………………..I wont hold my breath on that one !.
Pleasure Lc..
Nice group for England..
Not sure whether it`s a sign or not and I am a superstitious person, but the FA Cup draw for 3rd round is on Monday which is my wedding anniversary and the Final will be on my sons wedding day !…………………………it will be a sign if we win it again !
🙂
He may be a Gooner along with his Gran, but Prince Harry is definately punching above his weight !………………………….must be an Arsenal thing as Gazidis last said we were punching above our weight !……………………thing is as a fellow Gooner I`d rather make love to Meghan Markle than Stans Syrup !………………………….not sure about some of the KKB`s on here though !
😆
It’s been quiet on here today, anyone would think it’s an interlull…

This is a great listen if you get the chance.
Evening all,
If Alexis starts, 2-0 to The Arse potter.
Wow! Mangos $2 each this week @ Woolies?
It’s still quiet this morning Kev… ?
Morning all..
Morning Rico.
Kev. I had listened to that and it makes sense. There really does seem to be a quiet revolution going on within the club and it seems to be happening with Arsene’s blessing. It also seems more than probable that one of the architects of these changes is the much-maligned Ivan. The changes would seem to be a sensible reaction to the realities of today’s football. It will be very interesting to see what results flow from them.
Morning Adam.
Maybe Arsene Wenger was told on signing his contract that he’d have to accept the changes or leave. I can’t see Ivan making such a bold statement without knowing changes were definitely going to take place.. he’s not stupid.
It’s all smokes and mirrors at arsenal
Lacazette starts and so does matic!
Smoke
Two costly mistakes from our experienced centre backs and it’s all over!
Typical. .
Really shoddy Kk..
Shocking from kosielny rico ..gave them the edge in the 1st 3 mins and then mustafi ..
Well we gave it a good shot at the end, but was too little too late.
Welbz should have had a penalty though!
