Ozil & Gazidis leak positive transfer news! Fifty up, so let's get this one in the bag!

Morning all.

Ivan Gazidis has reportedly told L’Equipe newspaper:

We will see where Arsenal will be in January and whether or not the club will invest in another forward.

Olivier Giroud won’t be able to go on all alone until the end of the season. We need to buy.

We do Ivan, we do – make it happen!

Our ambitions were made clear to Mesut Ozil when he signed and he knows there will be further signings:

There will be further investment in the team in the future, It was important for me to know that the club matched my ambitions and they clearly do.

Just what we all wanted to hear.

Another boost ahead of today’s match is the fitness of Jack Wilshere and Mathieu Flamini who are both fit for today.

I’ll get the match facts out of the way.

  • The Red Devils have lost just one of their last 12 league and cup games against the Gunners (W9, D2, L1).
  • This will be Arsene Wenger’s 50th game against United as Arsenal manager. He has won 15 of the previous 49 (excluding penalty shoot-outs).

Manchester United:

Who gives a toot!

Arsenal:

  • Victory would give Arsenal their highest ever points tally after 11 Premier League matches.
  • Arsenal are the only Premier League club to have scored in every game this season. The last team to shut-out the Gunners was David Moyes’ Everton in a 0-0 draw at the Emirates on 16 April.
  • Prior to this weekend, only five players had assisted four or more Premier League goals this season – and three of them were Arsenal players (Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey).
  • Ramsey has 11 goals in 17 league and cup games for Arsenal this term, and 13 in 21 for club and country.
  • Arsene Wenger has registered 14 Premier League victories against Moyes – his highest tally against any manager.

Well, not all of that makes enjoyable reading does it?

Especially the head to head facts!

How on earth we have only managed to beat them 14 times in 49 attempts under Arsene Wenger beggars belief as over the years, especially the last few seasons, they haven’t even been that good.

No More!!!
No More!!!

We aren’t soft any more, we travel getter and the ‘Fergie Factor’ has gone!

Today it’s about Arsene Wenger v David Moyes and of course the man in the middle, Michael Oliver. No doubt it’s been made clear to him that he is to do us no favours, so we can’t afford to give him the slightest of chance to penalise us.

Man Utd may have found a little bit of form of late but our form has been there since the second game of the season! For every player they have, we have as good, if not better in most positions.

They stopped us from achieving an unbeaten record of 50 games by unfair means, let’s make sure this 50th match against them under our manager is a very different result.

As the season has progressed, the pundits/critics have moved the ‘let’s judge Arsenal’ goalposts. Until we beat Liverpool that is, and followed that with a superb victory over Borussia Dortmund. Now it seems they are taking us seriously.

Well we fans never doubted them did we? Ok, I’ll be honest, I didn’t anticipate the Dortmund result!

But I anticipate a very good performance today and a very good result.

Our squad is a tight-knit squad, they are playing football with fun, playing for each other, the club and the fans. They’ll be up for today, that’s for sure.

Stay disciplined, play hard,  play fair and most of all, play without fear!

This is our time, this could be our season, we need to make today count!

Hoping for a great day….

hello family – huge game again (another one) For some reason this game offers none of the previous “we’re doomed baggage” going into their home turf and I am truly of the belief we can get something from this. A draw is a solid result and win is magic and sends the final message, we’ve arrived. Straight from the game to a 12 hour night shift, lovely. Hopefully I will be in high spirits all night!! Come on lads! Good post Rico!

  2. Adam says:

    Morning Rico.
The Elephant in the room remains Mike Riley today. Why send a weak ref to this game?
I suspect a certain red-nosed Scot has been in touch and applied his belligerent influence.

  3. ozgunner says:

the joys of wordpress Rico. Has a mind of its own at times – source code indicates it should be middle aligned but there ya go! Yes I am facing 12 x 12 hour shifts out of 13 nights. I am well knackered already having done 7 but tonight i should be floating the round singing my head off!! Fingers crossed. 🙂

  4. AndrewH says:

Morning Rico and all. Bit nervous! Curious what the bookies thought bearing in mind our recent form. But a Man U win 6-5, and Arsenal 11-5. Not close in their view. I guess past record counts against us?

  5. ozgunner says:

hi AndrewH, was also surprised by the odds offered, are we missing something? They are normally pretty good at this prediction stuff, after all its their living.

  6. rico says:

The changes worked then Oz…. Good.

Morning Ah, it’s good to be nervous, no place for complacency 😉

Odds mean little, it’s about who turns up wanting the result more…

  7. ArsenalDK says:

    Morning good folk of HH.
I’ll be watching the game on danish television, as they have taken a big interest in Arsenals games of late.

(Hate the fact that Laudrup is the manager of Swansea, as they only broadcast their games now).

I will be the happiest man alive if we win this one. I’ll be content with a draw, but if we lose? God I hope not… This is the test of the season. Win this one, and we will remove the mental barrier which we sometimes carry against the big teams…

  8. BrainwashedKev says:

    Morning All.
    Morning Rico, excellent post…

Have to agree with you Adam, that Oliver seems a suspect choice as the referee, for arguably the most high-profile game of the season to date.
As Adam and Rico suggest, the dark hand of thag über cheat Mike Riley, seems to be at work in the background…

  9. rico says:

Just a little news slightly off topic. BT Sport have won the bidding war to screen ALL CL football from the 2015 season.

Looks like they really are out to challenge Sky Sports, they already have some PL matches and the FA Cup….

  10. Merlin96 says:

There is one fact most of us overlooked.
Since 204/05 when Arsene Wenger started rebuilding his 3rd team, this is the very first time he has a settled team, melding experience with youth and continuity of hardened veterans who had played at least 3 seasons with Arsenal FC.

A budding Brit pack that can only get better, and all cemented together with a steely German Spine.

Remind moi of transitory period towards his 2nd team from 1997/98 to 2001/02 title – a span of 4 years.

That is, the “nearly team” of 2007/08 transits to 2013/14 – a span of 6 years with the last remnants in Van Persie and Song leaving last season.

Whatever the result at OT, you can bet that this TEAM will fight to the end, fiercely focussed to win in a new Era without hang-ups of past failures.

  11. BrainwashedKev says:

Rico, there are some very nervous players and officials at Old Toilet.
They fear a vibrant Arsenal team humiliating them in front of millions.
They will do absolutely anything, pull every trick in the book to cheat us out of our fair reward.
I don’t trust the FA, I don’t trust the EPL, and I most certainly don’t trust Mike Riley, he is still Ferguson’s ‘bitch’…
Arsenal are entering the lions den this afternoon.
The Manc crowd will be screaming and yelling for every decision. The referee is certain to crack at some point during the game, it’s inevitable…
We just have to give Oliver as few opportunities as possible, because, believe me, he will be looking for them…

Despite all the dark arts at work, working to cheat us, I still reckon that we’ll come away with the minimum of a draw.
    We won’t lose…

  12. snaparse says:

hi Rico, who cares if the records aren’t in our favour……..we’re going to old trafford with the belief that are going to win……morning all

  13. Merlin96 says:

Manchester United take on Arsenal on Sunday afternoon in one of the Premier League season’s biggest fixtures. Always a fantastic spectacle, this edition of the rivalry will be David Moyes’ first as United manager, and he will be hoping to continue Sir Alex Ferguson’s good record against Arsenal.

Here’s all the stats you need to know about today’s clash at Old Trafford:

Arsenal have won 9 of their last 10 away matches in the Premier League, and haven’t lost away in all competitions since the start of the season.

Your browser does not support iframes.

Manchester United have won 8 of their last 9 home matches against Arsenal in all competitions, including an 8-2 hammering at the start of the 2011/12 season.

Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud has managed 5 goals and 4 assists so far this season, with United’s Robin van Persie scoring 6 and assisting 2.

In 23 games against an Arsene Wenger side, David Moyes has won just 3.

Under Wenger, Arsenal have scored 48 goals against Moyes’ Everton. More than any other side.

Manchester United have drawn 2 of their 5 home fixtures so far this season. Manchester United didn’t draw at home at all in the previous two seasons.

    Can’t resist cut-and-paste these stats 😀

  14. Merlin96 says:

    I am predicting a 3-2 victory … fingers crossed.

Based on gut feeling that a ne era had begun without that fear factor and intimidation by Rednose.
Moyes is just a pale shadow of him and simply like Hodgson’s Liverpool – Peter’s Principle proven at OT today.

  15. Merlin96 says:

    Yes, Kev.

We need a firm foundation playing our swift attacking game and should not be caught out like by Dortmund.

Arteta-Flamini needs to battle it out with Felliani-Carrick, plus coverage against break thru’ middle by Rooney.

DO notice Flamini is covering the flanks as well – and hey, you notice Santi is doing more defensive works nowadays?

  16. Merlin96 says:

    Latest rumour:

Arsene Wenger is eyeing City’s £10million-rated England international Micah Richards as replacement for Sagna?

Doubt Pelligrini will sell him to his main rival for the title tilt. Abu Dhabi doe snot need the money and can afford to let Richards rots in the reserve.

  17. rico says:

Great comment Kev, so so true and like you, I honestly don’t believe we will lose.

Re the OT fans, not for one second did I imagine our fans would be heard in Germany, but boy were they in full voice. If we settle early and get a goal, they’ll come alive..

The Mancs might expect a 12th man in black, but we will have our 12th man sat in the crowd…

  18. BrainwashedKev says:

I would ideally, like to see, the experience of all three of Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky, in the starting XI, not sure how Wenger can accommidate all three and Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey?

  19. rico says:

Hi snaparse, totally agree, what has gone by can’t be changed. What happens now is all what matters…

This is a very different squad from the seasons gone by, this one is brimming with confidence and togetherness!

Kev, I see both Arteta and Flamini starting, possibly Tomas making way…

  20. GunnerDNA says:

    Morning all, good post rico.

If Arsenal players play to their potential the referee and whatever Moyes do is a non factor

  21. rico says:

Has to be Tomas or Santi making way if he goes with the 2 DM’s..

Imho – this will be another ‘WBA’ away kind set-up. AW won’t want to lose and will sacrifice our attack to ensure we don’t…

  22. BrainwashedKev says:

Merlin, we are gonna come under intense early pressure in todays game.
The Mancs will try to knock us/kick us, out of our stride right from kick-off.
That’s why i’d like to see our most experienced players starting.
In many respects, todays game, coyld well mirror last Wednesdays in so many ways.
Getting to half-time with it 0-0, would constitute, in my view, a minor miracle.
The referee scenario really worries me.
But I still maintain that we won’t lose…

  23. Scott from Oz says:

Morning all…..justna quick one as a kip beckons.
Adam, it is Scott with two T’s, and how do you my nose is red 🙂
Wenger needs to tell our guys one thing before they run out……we are better than this mob, so believe it and get the job done.
See you in a few hours.

  24. snaparse says:

Rico we can be tight with arteta and Ramsey(as shown towards the end of last season)………I really would like us to start with one of flam or arteta ……as with most big games the first goal is always very important

  25. rico says:

We’ll have to agree to differ then snaparse 😉

Catch up later Scott, bet you don’t sleep well 😉

Another thing Kev, it’s the boring international break after today, AW won’t want us to go off on a bad result 😉

  26. DutchGooner10 says:

    Afternoon GoonerFamilia,

    How’s life?

Have we heard from AGAG yet???? Is she (and her loved ones) okay?

Rico sorry to have missed stream service duty. Been on the back burner as my private obligations has been murderous. I know its voluntary community service but the guilt really stuck on me this week. Reminding me to check in more often even though for a few comments and minutes of chat.

  27. rico says:

Hi Dg, you are forgiven. 😉

Agag was on yesterday, she is currently on vacation and heading home tomorrow. She and all her family are fine and well I think…

  28. rico says:

Got to pop off again, have a lawn full of leaves which need clearing before the rain comes in again tomorrow…

    Back shortly…

  29. DutchGooner10 says:

    Tnx Madam.

If you need me you know I’m just a mail away, right? Don’t hesitate, think twice or use a but…… when the situation calls for it.

  30. ozgunner says:

focus is everything tonight and we got some solid training in that in Germany the other night – come boys, lets tell the world we’re back

  31. BrainwashedKev says:

    Thanks for that Dutch… 🙂

Another scalp today, would do us nicely thank you… 😀

Spuds lose! One down, three to go… 😛

    COYFRRBlackCats…

  32. tsgh says:

    Afternoon HHers,

    Good post as always…

4 pm kick-off get in there… we will deliver for sure.

Interesting to read Klopp blaming BVB’s defeat yesterday to the effort his squad exerted when the faced us…

  33. kali says:

    afternoon Rico & all
we surely need to deliver today…about time….
just hope Mr.M.Oliver willn’t be the talking point after the game!
seeing W.Brom being robbed of two points yesterday!

  34. tsgh says:

Rico, have you heard that Napoli may not be able to play their match against us in CL at the San Paolo stadium due to the ‘incidents’ that happened during Napoli-Marseille (GdS)

  35. BrainwashedKev says:

No BFG, not happy at all about that…

    We’ll do well to get a draw…

    ManUre will be like vultures.
Any weakness and they’ll smell blood…

  36. Lewis says:

    Good day all.

Massive game today, if we play our game and get at them we can take three points home. They have a good strike force but that’s about it, they’re not on the same level as Dortmund.

    Let’s smash them!

    COYGS!!!

  37. tsgh says:

ha ha ha $hitty lose again.

The scums and $hitty had over 50 million pounds worth of ‘worldclass’ talent who AW was allegedly clueless not to sign not starting.- Jovetic and Lamela.

WoW £100M spent and they have scored 9 goals in 11 games. lol; Maybe Eriksen is better than Ozil? 😛

Dear oh dear; but no crisis talk as yet from the media.

  38. Rohan says:

Hey Rico and all. Terrific results today and this weekend so far – hopefully we can take the three today. Would be great to be 7 points clear of chelsea and 11 over man utd. COYG

  39. tsgh says:

Re Napoli I am sure it will unfold soon Rico if UEFA and their side kicks are serious.

Lets concentrate on smashing the Yanited pride first.lol

  40. rico says:

If TV has any balls about him, he’ll play out of his skin today to prove a point.

Gutted no Merts and Ozil though….

  41. Scott from Oz says:

Morning guys…..not much sleep was had, but i am ready.
    Tommy V is too.
    Get in there lads.
    Destroy these arseholes.

  42. BrainwashedKev says:

Maybe some fresh legs are needed?
    Ramsey, how is he playing?
Stuck out on the right side isn’t his best position…

Cazorla, Ozil, how are they playing?

  43. rico says:

I know Adk, I’m worried it might be,….

Not really in the game Kev, but neither are a few. Ozil, well I don’t think I have heard him mentioned 🙁

  44. Lewis says:

That was shit! The most annoying thing is they aren’t a very good side, we just haven’t turned up. They need a rocket up them. So disjointed!

  45. tsgh says:

It has been said again; we really need another Box to box midfielder if Diaby or Aneke are not options imho. To be honest maybe another Tr07 is what we need; The team look tactically static…

    I am not a fun of the MF and MA08 pivot especially when we do not have TR07; It has to be one of the 2 imho and never both as even with MF and MA08 starting it is quite obvious MF is the deep lying playmaker; MF is not as mobile as dynamic and is not technical enough to be the box to box option;
Additionally none of our other players are trying to break behind the opposition midfield or back 4…

  46. BrainwashedKev says:

I wonder if the lethargy of the team has anything to do with the effort they put in vs Dortmund?

There could also be a case if more players suffering from that ‘bug’, than the club has revealed?!

  47. Joaquim Moreira says:

    Was ozil playing?
why we defend the corners in that way? A man to man to RVP was obviously. Give him space (and to the others) for preparing the jump was always a clear advantage.

  48. Gunnerdna says:

The tactics isn’t right, we are the leaders for a reason, why go to Man U and sit back and give them confidence to attack us. This is the same team that kept Suarez and Sturridge quiet who are more dynamic than Rooney and Van P, showing these fuckers too much respect is the problem.

  49. tsgh says:

Could be kev; its a valid point…

Considering Klopp blamed effort used to contain us for their lose and playing 2 top away games in 4 days…; Sometimes its not just the physical side its the long duration of being mentally switched on..

  50. HenryB says:

It’s all part of the great plan!

Absorb the first half pressure, keep the score down and then strike like a cobra in the second half.

    No probs. 🙂

    — [X – Rated] — For Rico’s eyes only —

That was the worst first half performance this season! Damn it.

  51. ozgunner says:

wow poor half – the occasion appears to have got to us. Did we have a single shot? Forward players non existent. Could easily be 2 down is the positive. One goal and we’re back in it, have to lift

  52. BrainwashedKev says:

    Lewis/Ginge I would happily settle for 1-1…

Not sure where our 1 would come from.

I kinda had a feeling that Ozil might score/be the hero today.
    I’m still hopeful…

  53. BrainwashedKev says:

Rico, I had a delicious pizza yesterday evening…

Steered clear of the lasagne though… 😉

    COYFRRG

  54. tsgh says:

Kev- I wanted a draw when I think Oz (I think) asked last week after the BVB game…

In my view. sometimes not losing to an old adversary could be a much killer blow..

Still fingers crossed as you said…

  55. tsgh says:

Good sub… Ramsey now in the right position to influence the Yanited engine…Maybe Serge would have been a better option but…

  56. BrainwashedKev says:

Ramsey’s goals have covered up the teams lack of penetration this season…
He looks the only player we have, who is dangerous in front of goal

  57. tsgh says:

    ditto- kev

That was one reason why I thought AA23 made more of an impact to our side than Ozil has done so far…

We need another box to box player… Gundugan or Schneiderlein

  58. Lewis says:

We haven’t wanted this enough. And bendtner being our option from the bench to try a rescue a game is just not good enough. That needs to be addressed.

  59. tsgh says:

Poor subs again Mr 75 minutes.

Serge should have come on first but I guess it is all hypothetical…

How many times us Moyes beaten AW?
    Mental block indeed Kel…

  60. Scott from Oz says:

    Bugger.
We ended up with our chances, yet played like crap.
3 points gone, but damn, we will be beating this mob home in the League.
    We were awful.

  61. Gunnerdna says:

No blame on the players, blames the negativity the coaching staff brings to Man United. Ts, why mention who wins tackles and AA23? The reality of the games is we lost.

  62. rico says:

    🙂 Kev re the pizza…

We didn’t turn up and I wonder just how many of our players had the bug, I really do. They were lacklustre and appeared to have little energy in them. Never seen Ozil pass so poorly, or Ramsey, Cazorla and Giroud…

    Really downhearted after that…

    Off to get dinner before….

  63. Lewis says:

So annoying as that utd team are just shite. Bunch of lumps with 2 good strikers. Horrible game of football to watch.

    Hate those smug manc fucks.

  64. tsgh says:

    has* even.

Lewis, for this one I do not think it is all down to B-something or lack of top strikers.

Where are our big game players?

Wooney and RVP used their tactical awareness to haunt us. I do not think we have enough of those in the attacking third without TR07 or Ramsey playing in behind OG12.

For 6 games this season, TR07 and RAmsey have swapped positions in the last 25 minutes to change games. I doubt AW had any thing to do with that to be honest…

Still, we can regroup after the break and with Poldi and Theo coming back we will have options

  65. bob john says:

As poor as we were still don’t think we deserved to lose They are just like Everton relying on lonv balls and set pieces. We had half a team playing ill and they ended up hoofing the ball clear like a lower division team hanging on. Scummy bastards

  66. AndrewH says:

Two great crosses from Sagna, just needed a foot connecting. Not great but they didn’t deserve three points for a goal off a shoulder.

  67. bradster says:

United has always set up like a lower league team. 4-4 banks andcatch us on the break.
When we beat them, we had pace on both wings and up front. Our set up plays right into their tactics.
Crosses are a waste in our team, no one ever tries to get on the end of it.

  68. tsgh says:

Hats off to Wooney.. a big game player.

    I agree Brad…

From the first minute I was concerned with the way we set up with Wooney and RVP dropping into the hole and overloading Arteta.

My concern is not conceding a goal but that we did not score away for the first time in over 20 games…

  69. tsgh says:

We missed Rosicky way more than Mertesacker today imho. Vermaelen did very well and did nothing wrong. We will be hard pressed to find much better third choice CB than him.

  70. bradster says:

I think we missed Walcott most of any player. At least there’s an outlet for a break, pace to frighten their defence and the ability to get in behind.

  71. bradster says:

We need something different to central technical slow midfielders. Or a skillfully gifted striker, not just a finisher.

  72. Gtid says:

The defeat’s hard to swallow. United played very well. All our big players didn’t show up. The moment I found out TR07 and PM04 were out I knew we would struggle.
Plus I think we missed some of the injured players.
    A new striker needed too.

  73. Rohan says:

    @tsgh
I think that we were lacking options on the wings rather than rosicky. Especially in the first half gibbs looked very sluggish and cazorla failed to really impact the game. Furthermore ramsey was very poor in the wide positions struggling to really make an impact – only sagna showed any real quality. The injection of gnabry very quickly made an impact and realistically when we have walcott and podolski back we won’t have this issue as much.
I know it’s been said but we desperately need another striker that can provide a tactical alternative to giroud – I find myself asking what does bendtner offer that giroud doesn’t?

But at least most of the others dropped points to teams outside the big 4 – definitely cushions the blow

  74. kel says:

tbh. im not surprised at all at the result, utd no matter what you think about them perform in big games and if we be honest with ourselves Arsenal quite simply do not turn up at OT! im disappointed, but certainly not devasated! what Arsenal need to do now is respond and keep going to jan.

  75. stevepalmer1 says:

    Evening All,
A bitter pill to swallow, we can travel half way round the world and come away with a result but a trip to Old Trafford and half the team shit themselves. They call it a bug but i think they shit themselves..

  76. tsgh says:

    Well said SP1.lol

We will regroup… this shows we can win the league by making sure we beat the teams below us at least… in the cup games we need a few more big game players.

Rohan, you have a valid point; I just based my views on recent performances i.e Dippers and BVB 09; TR07 was the key in unlocking and dictating play …

  77. tsgh says:

$hitty have nearly £150M worth of strikers and still lost to a sunderland team whose manager has 3 games of EPL experience…

In most big games the midfielders are the key scorers; Suarez may have score 2 or 3 yesterday but in the bigger games like against us they failed to score whilst our midfielder scored; Juve vs RM mid week was a typical example imo…

  78. tsgh says:

In the last 7 games…we have played against Suarez & Sturridge, Lewandowski, Reus, M’ktaray, Blas’ski, Rooney & van Persie and conceded 1 goal which was ‘shouldered’ set-piece.

Not too bad for dooms November… lets keep our heads up…

  79. stevepalmer1 says:

I love your optimism Ginge your a real trouper. can we win the league yes i think we can, can we win at old toilet not for a while.

  80. rico says:

Anyone want to write that game up?? 😉

    No, neither do I……

Ts – I’m just disappointed in the way we played, but I’d like to know just how many were ill.

For me we simply lacked pace, width, directness and a shot…

  81. kali says:

bad day at the office…we shown far too much fear/respect for
    undeserved bunch of bullies….
we gave the game away rather than being outplayed.
we will bounce back…chin up gunz..
pitty now we have this boring inter lull

  82. BrainwashedKev says:

Just spoke to my son who went up to that Northern shithole…
Usual trouble with the stewards and Police at that pile of dung.
    Fcuking Northern cnuts….

    Night All…

  83. emma says:

I hate losing to those mugs. We missed our big game players rosicky and walcott. Hopefully they will be back after d interlull were we are bound to go on another run of wins. Let d media continue to write us off as non title contenders at their own peril. We are d arsenal and will bounce back.

  84. kali says:

it really hurts the way we lost rather than the loss!
we played right into their dirty tactics and we gave away
    the game before even started!

  85. Scott from Oz says:

Chins up guys, as i said we can not play worse, and they will not play better this season.
Smeone mentioned it and i agree….Theo would have been dynamite, or Ox.
Gnabry….damn he is an impressive kid.

  86. tsgh says:

    Check you mail box Rico..

Hi Scott.. a bad day in the office me think… most CL teams suffered this weekend across the whole Europe…

Shitty the chavs, BVB, Napoli are losing 2-0 to Juve

  87. Scott from Oz says:

We just can not play our beat every week Ginge.
Credit to Yanited…they pressed hard early, got a jump on us and got their goal.
I have no doubt we are a much better team at our best than they are at theirs, but our guys need to believe that.

  88. Merlin96 says:

    Chins up people.
We are still top-of-the-table going into the internaitonal break.
And Theo will be bakc on 23-Nov.

Plus it is that perennail November Slump where we stumbled along the way and yet remains top in Feb.

Titles ar enot won in Nov/Dev; yhey are won during March to May where the title-winners are those that fired-up their turbos and accelerated away from the Pack.

2011/12 and 2012/13 shown our devastating form during March-May and will be again comes March-May 2014.

  89. ozgunner says:

yep no the first time we haven’t shown up but i am getting concerned about Ozil – he is looking very ineffective lately or is that unfair?

  90. W.A.T.H says:

Is it just me or is it not just embarrassing and totally insulting to us the fans that the piece of shit that is Bendtner who continuously slags off our club is still wearing “OUR” shirt…. Why has he not been told to fuck off and train with the youth team….?

Disgraceful…. if he had any talent what so ever he would of anticipated one or two of those crosses from Sagna passing everyone and tapped one in for an equalizer…!

It’s why we crying out for another top quality striker.

  91. Scott from Oz says:

Played so badly, yet still so close to a reslult.
Any word on how many players were affected by illness?
We are hearing mose of them to some extent at least.
    Excuse??

  92. HenryB says:

    Morning Rico

How was that for a disappointing performance?

Somehow it seemed to be a case of rabbits caught in the headlights for our guys. Only in the second half did we show any form.

Playing Arteta and Flambo together was understandable, given our past performances and of course the sickness that struck Per was bad luck, but somehow the team looked slow, unbalanced and lacked confidence and allowed Manure to attack at will.

Try as he might Giro just was not at the races, and Bendy is a waste of space.

    That’s football I guess. 🙁
