No Alexis row, Merts loves Arsene and has he already signed a contract extension?

Morning all.

Tonight we play Bayern Munich and we need a 4-0 victory to progress into the next round.

I actually think the best thing we can hope for tonight is a reaction to not only our defeat in the first leg but all that has reportedly gone on this week and the season in general. There was a time, after the opening two matches of the season when this Arsenal team looked like they’d finally clicked. Many of us believed Arsene Wenger had stepped things up too but soon it was clear – another false dawn.

Yesterday in his pre-match conference, Arsene Wenger claimed the stories which have been hitting the back pages are pure fabrication. No such incidents involving Alexis Sanchez took place. Yes he’s a tricky guy to manage, but his attitude is fine so the message to us was, stop making a fuss over nothing. We have to take his words to be truthful, however, on this occasion, I think he must have been sat with his fingers crossed under the table.

One of the press men wanted to dig deeper about the rift within the squad and what did the players think of their manager. That exact question was fired at our captain Per Mertesacker but before he could answer, Wenger stepped in to spare Merts the embarrassment of having to tell the world that they are 100% against the manager staying on for another two years. I may jest, but let’s be honest, live on television and with the media waiting again for the chance to print something negative about out club, Merts was always going to back his manager and he did just that and with a little grin whilst doing so.

So there you have it, Arsenal is a happy camp, the players love each other, they love their manager and everything is rosy. Except it isn’t and Alexis knows it, most of the players in the squad who want to win know it too. There’s little doubt that we have a number of players who are quite happy with what’s going on, they are happy to have a little jog around in training and on match day whilst knowing their bank account is increasing vastly by the second, but that’s not good enough. Not for a club like Arsenal who should at this stage of the season, be pushing hard for the title and going into tonight’s match with a great chance of progressing through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Instead, we are out of one competition and ninety minutes away from being out of the other so if that’s an indication that all is good at the club, then my uncle is my aunt.

Stories are leaking thanks to ANR that the Frenchman has signed a new contract which I seriously dread being true and considering just a few days ago, Wenger said he hadn’t made a decision on his future yet, then one can only hope the latter is far nearer the truth.

Finally, there are protests planned for tonight so if that’s your thing, be loud, be proud but be objective and most importantly, be safe.

I would say enjoy the match, however…..

If you’re a season ticket holder there’s no need to rush out and re-new, I think you can afford to wait and see, the club isn’t going to take your ticket away, I mean what happened to the trumpeted ‘waiting list’…? You don’t hear about that load of tosh anymore…

  2. allezkev says:

Rico, the club give you a deadline, but they’re not going to cut their own throats, if the take up of tickets is slow, they aren’t going to not take your money, even if you are late to re-new…

When I had a ticket, I was always late when I re-newed, but it was never a problem. The club set these deadlines to suit themselves, not the fans, they’ll bullshit all summer.

  3. ScottfromOz says:

    Morning all.
I’m tired of the stories flying around, but mainly because we really don’t know what’s fact and what’s fiction, because we can’t even take the clubs word as gospel.
On to the game-can we get a result?
    Beware the wounded Arsenal?
Yes, we can get a result.
No, as they’ve been wounded for a few seasons now, and none of us know what the trigger is on that odd occasion we’ve relipped sides apart.
If we did, we’d bottle it and make a fortune lol

  4. allezkev says:

The club will also sense if people are holding back, to see developments, they might even rush through a big transfer to con everyone, it’s what they do.
They might make a big deal about reminding fans about not renewing at the date, that suits them, with the threat of you losing your ticket, but it’s all bollocks, they want your money…

  5. rico says:

Thanks Kev. Tbh, I can’t see many renewing until they know what Wenger is doing and if he stays, that so-called waiting list will get shorter…

Mind you, who would sign up for the vacant ST’s?

  6. ScottfromOz says:

Exactly why I said no news is bad news-the longer it is before the announcement is made, the more likely he’s staying, imo.
It’s sad the club has to play games

  7. rico says:

What would be better in the long term tonight?

A battering which is the final straw and Arsene goes?

We win, play really well and then go on a good run, and Wenger stays?

  8. Adam says:

Rico. It must depend to some extent on how important the club see the support of the fans. If they are just interested in the bottom line and don’t mind playing to a stadium full of bored, sleepy people and grinning selfie-obsessed London tourists then get him to sign for another couple of years. If however they see the fans as being both an important part of the club’s fabric and essential to helping the team on the pitch, then he really must go. The traditional fan base has been shredded, but perhaps they really do want people with deep pockets and no love for the club.
It is a business after all. 🙂

  9. ScottfromOz says:

I never want to see us lose, Rico, but if it happens, it may have some benefits.
Hard to say that, but it’s true.

  10. Wath says:

Morning you lot, evening sheep lover…..

What I find more worrying is the comment from Wenger now saying he wants more time to decide on his future so March/April isn’t enough and he should be judged over 20yrs not 2 weeks, Shame he’s forgotten the last 10 years have been pretty much treading water and scrapping for the 4th place trophy. The worst thing about his comments for me show a complete contempt for the fan base and indeed the Club that the decision is merely about ‘HIM’…. The club need to show some balls and say sorry Arsene we need to know now…..!!! The players need to know the fans and we need to be able to plan and action a new manager as quickly as possible. To decide when ‘HE’ feels like it is utter nonsense and shows the lack of leadership at the club with a board that are merely nodding dogs and who can’t show the guts to take responsibility and make a decision, yet again they bottle it.

How the fuck are they the custodians of our club…. They are a disgrace and so is he when he is being all selfish and self centered about a decision that needs to be made and announced ‘NOW’

A gutless board a selfish arse manager and us left to pick up the pieces….! As i said days ago, a shambles from top to bottom as a club and front to back on the pitch.

  11. potter says:

In a nutshell Wath , all this delaying is no good for anyone. As I said a few weeks ago and again last night reports that Alexis would not sign unless Wenger left were abound in Spain . Of course the club immediately countered with the Ozil only came because of him story which possibly caused the reported split in the camp as players took sides .
Who knows ? could be anything.

  12. allezkev says:

The longer Wenger takes to make a decision, the more I suspect that he wants to stay, but maybe the Board know this already, they’ll know how the fans feel as they monitor the blogs, it’s a case of who blinks first, the club or the season ticket holders.

I can’t see a decision being made before the end of the season…

I couldn’t care less about the result of tonight’s game, it has no bearing on the current situation.
If we lose 3-0 Wenger isn’t going to announce that he’s leaving.
If we win, he isn’t going to announce that he’s staying.
Even if by some miracle Arsenal win 4-0 nothing is going to be decided.

It could all depend on a top four finish, because in the world of Stan Kroenke, it’s all about the money.
Kroenke is the cancer at the heart of the club.
    Wenger is just a symptom…

  13. goonster says:

Morning you grumpy lot ? 1st and last wenger is arsenal(well according to him) he decides even the quantity of water dumped on our lush green Emirates pitch. That bugger tastes the meal before the players and staff eats. He’s mr arsenal lol. The only way he leaves is in a body bag. Like a fan said on arsenal fan TV this past weekend. He wont leave without a fight. He built us remember??? Up until 1998 we were nothing. Haven’t played in Europe. Haven’t won the league. Funds disappearing. Fan based disjointed. Then hurray out of the far east came a French man and the rest is history. The arsenal is born. Lol. Long live arsene wenger???? 7 more years. IN WENGER I TRUST.

  14. Marshall says:

On STs, I have friends and family who swear not to renew if Wenger extends his contract. Naturally (being the biggest-and the loudest fan) I was waiting in line to acquire(inherit) but I’d understand if they gave up the ST.

  15. goonster says:

Marshall we have mental strengthz. We ll be alright. Plus we are playing at home. 6.0 to the Arsenal. The players ll be up for it. We ll turn them over. Bellerin with a brace. We ll smash them guys. I guarantee you. Lol NOT.

  16. goonster says:

It doesnt even hurt no more. Am immuned. Its been comical lately. When i need a laugh i just switch on to the arsenal game. In 20 minutes i ll cracking up. Lol. We are a joke. Wenger is not going anywhere. He hasnt signed yet but trust me he will. All the signs point to the inevitable. We re stuck with this mug till God knows when.

  17. goonster says:

Marshall dont even bother renewing your seasons ticket. If you think we are bad now…wait till ozil and Sanchez leaves. We ll be an eyesore. Without sanchez’s goals and assists we ll be mid table right now. We are dire Marshall and its only going to get worse.

  18. allezkev says:

Wenger and the Board do what they do, because Kroenke allows them to do it, because to him Arsenal are an investment, a name on the Stock Market that keeps on growing in value.

  19. goonster says:

Some prick on twitter is saying he hopes Wenger dies of a heart attack. Hahahahahahaha omgosh. Now thats extreme….i won’t wish that on my worst enemy but Wenger isnt my enemy so hey lol.

  20. Marshall says:

We are doomed Goonster, even in the long-term when Wenger leaves. I have no trust in Stan. These yanks come with/extend Olive branches while hiding arrows on their backs!

  21. allezkev says:

I don’t think that a Kroenke lacks direction or motivation Rico, he knows what he is doing, he’s growing his wealth and that’s all he cares about…

  22. rico says:

As far as football goes Kev, Kroenke is fooking useless, but it doesn’t mean those ‘below’ him need to be as unambitious though. But they are all old farts who really have no intention of rocking the boat…

  23. Marshall says:

It’s awful to wish someone a demise. Some people don’t mean it they just can’t control their rage. I’d once said something dumb here with blind fury. I think after he’s gone, we’ll miss him. Just cause he never seemed under pressure and was always a gentleman. Won’t miss him in the technical area though.

  24. goonster says:

Marshall this kroenke bullshit is overated imho. Hes known as silent stan. He doesnt interfere plus havent we spunked almost 200 million in the past 3 years. We spent 90 this past summer. A new manager ll get this same team cracking again. Look i don’t mind losing games but go watch the saints under poch, koeman and their current manager. They are a hard to beat anywhere. Wr have better players, more financial pool and most of all the pedigree. Kreonke is just a diversion from akbs to throw us all of track. Even the senile git has come out a million times to say stan doesn’t restrict him. Its all political marshall. Wenger is the cancer in arsenal. He won’t leave anytime soon. So just grin and bear it my man. Lol

  25. allezkev says:

Rico, the Board are fairly irrelevant, they are just a group of talking heads, caretakers for Kroenke and son.
Gazides has some influence and power, but he can’t really make any decisions without the say so of Kroenke or Wenger for that matter.

  26. goonster says:

If kroenke is the problem how come anytime wr take a massive whooping suddenly funds are made available to strengthen the team ala 8.2 against united. In 2 weeks we bought 5 players. Men i don’t buy into that bullshit. Wenger has and always have been the problem with arsenal. Point blank period.

  27. rico says:

That’s my point though really Kev, they are irrelevant but they shouldn’t be. They are the ones who should be helping nudge Wenger out of the door…

  28. kelsey says:

    Morning all

As I told you a few weeks back,Wenger has officially announced this morning to his players that he is leaving at the end of the season.

  29. Meerkat says:

You never know. The row on the training ground may have done them all good. I know they still went out and lost to L’Pool, but after a few days since, to prepare to face BM, they might want to prove a few people wrong.
The players may have been happy to sit back and allow Arsene to take his much deserved flak, but tonight the onus is on them to play for some pride at home.

Perhaps a draw may save face. It won’t be a cure-all, but it may kickstart them all again. Even those ‘playing to get away’ may feel the need to show what they’ve got.

We are stuck between a brick and a hard place really, we want to win or at least draw, yet doing so will probably prolong the agony of Arsene remaining in situ.

It can’t go on, I just hope he decides to go.

  30. Marshall says:

Goonster, I agree with you on restrictions. Problem is Stan K offers zero restrictions especially to curb the on-field sh*t show. He should have input on the ambition of the club. He’s just silent and happy to let Wenger earn him money and give the finger to the club.

Am never distracted/diverted by those who point at Stan to take steam off Wenger. Wenger is the worst. Those who argue that Wenger doesn’t do his job cause of Stan I’d call them dumb. Wenger has free will to conduct business however he chooses to. He chooses to be complacent, which trickles down to his team.

  31. goonster says:

Well thats why we need a new BoD. Get Franck McClintock in there and some other arsenal great and see if the ambition of this club wont change overnight. Allegri for me but if we get jardim, emery, simeone i wont complain. Wenger out now!!!

  32. kelsey says:

I have no reason to gossip about it.David Dein told me personally months ago that he was 99% sure Wenger would go this season. If I am wrong then I have made a fool of myself.

  33. Marshall says:

I saw Carlos Ancellotti being interviewed. He said he’s never been at a club where the president and the chairman have so much knowledge of the game which makes it easy for the club to make footballing decisions. This has made Bayern one of the most stable clubs in the world and a top one as well.

Our board should have knowledgeable people about the game, not just the money.

  34. goonster says:

Am sorry kelsey am not buying it. Wenger has or will sign that contract and here’s why..1 he’s finished as a top class manager. No top team ll hire him. His record in europe is appalling. 30 years in the champions league just one final. No way. 2 he just divorced his wife a few years back. Living alone in his twat massion won’t be that fulfilling. He ll be dead in a year. 3 he loves being in charge and sees arsenal as his. He built the club remember?? Lol so will want to take us to the next level. 4th and final he’s “nicking a living” while doing fuck all. Who in his right mind would leave a job where he or she is required to do squat yet earn so much money in return. Face it kelsey wengee stays. In arsene we trust. Lol

  35. goonster says:

Am doing fabulous adam. Cant complain. Just enjoying how the season is unraveling. Lol good times. Glad to be alive at this point in time.

  36. rico says:

You do have a way with words goonster – Why on earth will Wenger be dead in a year. He looks a broken man, but relieve himself of all the stress around him at Arsenal and he’ll soon perk up again….

    He must see that too…

  37. goonster says:

Lol you don’t believe that do you Rico?? Wenger is a footballing man. He lives eat and sleeps football. Take that from him and hes just a scrawny looking scarecrow of a man. He said it himself. Ferguson have horses….what does he have??? Hint…the arsenal???? he aint going no where fam. Lol

  38. BT62 Gooner says:

    Goonie for.. Manager…..CEO…Owner….Chief Scout….Player/Coach….Tea Lady..

    How are you and Bri?

Kelsey, if your info is kosher, then it’s the best news to come out of Arsenal in years.

But like Goonie, i remain sceptical…

  39. allezkev says:

I must defer to Mr Cock of Cornwall, and wait until the Great Ornstein confirms today’s sensational news…

I’m not sure that I’d believe a word the Daily Star writes, a newspaper fit only for eating fish n chips out of…

I can only hope that Kelsey is right, he has certainly put his neck on the block…

  40. goonster says:

Hey BT wow…its been a while. Brianna is doing great thanks. How are you and the family?? ☺

  41. allezkev says:

Yes Stan, I’ve got myself a new suit in anticipation of the big day…
All I need now is a visa, a date and the city where the big day is gonna be…
Lee is gonna bring his supplies and Adam is gonna bring his banjo and volcano, it’s gonna be a gas… ?

  42. goonster says:

It was intended kev .lol just enough to knock you off balance. Hahahaha hey but uber is dying isnt it?? Dont worry kev you bacon is saved.

  43. allezkev says:

Yes, there seems to be a negative reaction to Uber, growing around the world as people realise the arseholes behind it, no pun intended.

George Osborne for example, and you couldn’t get a bigger slime ball than him…

  44. goonster says:

I hope it crashes. I dont trust any bugger who drives for uber. They all seem creepy to me. I hear allegations of rape everywhere. Plus i dont think they do background checks for their prospecting drivers. Any prick can be an Uber driver. A rapist drug dealer even a convicted killer. That’s crazy isnt it?

  45. Meerkat says:

If he does stand down, it will be to move on upstairs at the club to oversee things I bet.
They will then get someone like the Southampton manager in, who was with Le Prof in Monaco, who will be prepared to accept him looking over his shoulder all the time.

  46. kelsey says:

It’s being announced everywhere except from the club

Why today, why not as he has already had all the grief for the various performances including at Bayern.

I don’t think he can think straight anymore.Money isn’t an incentive,he has plenty. Might take time off and then go to China as he has Asian experience in Japan or he might go to PSG as LifeLong President which has been an open offer to him for years.
As to who sucedes him, who knows except I repeat that the club were looking in Germany and Italy for the last few months.Make of that what you will

  47. goonster says:

And we appreciate that kelsey just stating the obvious. He won’t quit. Not yet. People like him tend to hang around till they are hounded off. I ll believe it when i see it. Wenger is power mad. He wont give it ip.

  48. goonster says:

This is the worst i ve seen arsenal. I wasn’t around in the 70s when things were really dire but i ll bet the atmosphere was never this toxic. The tension is palpable. You can feel it even from this distance. The only way we move forward is with leshite gone. He’s a divisive factor right now. Fans can’t unite when there are WOBs and AKBs. We need a fresh start. But mark my words people if he doesnt go this year. It ll get ugly. He ll be manhandled. A fan said they ll physically have to restrain him from getting to Wenger. He ll hounded at games, home, bus station, restaurants etc. For his own safety he should just step down and stop being a cant. Lol

  49. rico says:

My expections aren’t high at all goonster, I have learned to accept he’s a stubborn one who can’t see what’s right in front of him….

  50. Meerkat says:

Even though he trained yesterday, Ozil is still feeling ill apparently, so won’t be playing against the mighty BM tonight. Quelle surprise!

  51. goonster says:

Exactly what i was telling a mate last week. We didnt win every game but man were we a pain in the patella. Plus we won 2 European titles. I ll say this again arsene got lucky with the glorious back line he inherited. Plus the fact that back then it was either us or manure for the title. Liverpool was a busted flush then and Chelsea dont even get me started. I keep reteirating*spelling* if he was that good a manager he wont be in japan. We made arsene who he is today not the other way round.

  52. goonster says:

People keep banging on about what he has done for us in the past!!! Well hello….when Ferguson took over manure we had more league titles than them. Yes they had an European cup but we have more titles combined than them. How many titles did Ferguson win for them subsequently?? How many has wenger won in 21 years?? Look guys don’t let this old senile twat and his fans tell you any different. We were a powerhouse before he arrived. We did the double in 70s twice. Smashing the cants next door 5.0 on the way to doing the double. Wenger is not arsenal. We were here before this prick and ll continue being here after he expires.

  53. frednerk says:

    Afternoon Rico and All

If you read into what Arsene has said,(Repeating again)
What ever the Board decide’s…He has said.

Kelsey if he has decided to-day to tell the player’s
Is it Because of the planned Demo to-nite or Dropping Sanchez
    do you reckon.

  54. rico says:

Every manager inherits a group of players, some great, some less so. Even Mourinho did and without the likes of Terry and co, he wouldn’t have won so much so early on.

Wengers huge mistake imo, is going from big strong players to small flakey ones…

  55. frednerk says:

Arsene for some reason think’s we come about
    in 1996..
His misguided quote on europe was another
    load of Banana’s

  56. goonster says:

We have 13 titles to date. Hes won only 3 in 21 years. GG won 2 in half that time with limited resources. GG won the uefa cup went to arnfield and did the unthinkable. Why do we let this idiot dictate terms to us??? We re the arsenal. Lord God in heaven wish i was in that protests today. I ll definitely be arrested cause i go gung ho for that prick. Reaching for his scrawny neck. God am so angry.?????

  57. goonster says:

GG almost won the league without losing a game too plus with better wining to draw ratio. He should be the one with the statue outside the Emirates. For that night at arnfield alone he deserves title outside the Emirates. Wenger out now.

  58. goonster says:

BT mate am so angry fam. This guy irks me. He’s exactly everything wrong with the world now. Selfish masochist and down right evil. I physically hate this man. Am sorry Rico but i do. If am ever 10 yards to him. Well…?????????

  59. goonster says:

Hes so good yet have lost more finals than he won. Uefa cup against Galatasaray, first time a turkish team ll ever win a continental trophy was against us. Fa cup against Liverpool 1.0 up till ladt 10 minutes when owen scored twice to nick it off us. Champions league final against Barcelona…don’t even want to remember. Carling cup against the chavs rests first team played a youthful team against Drogba the bully well we know how that turned out. Carling cup against Birmingham…like i still can’t believe that happened. I blocked it out of my memory. How we lost was classic Wenger. No balls just arms and legs. Man i hate this prick faced poxy bastard. Wenger out now

  60. goonster says:

Because people keep yapping about what he’s done for us ma’am. What has he done??? Seriously am waiting for someone more knowledgeable to clue me in.

  61. Le Coq Monster says:

Nope !…………..nothing from Ornstein, Kev !……………………………..chicken or egg ?………………………does Ornstein get his info from Kelsey or vice versa ?

  62. goonster says:

Am sorry rico. My apologies but he doesn’t help his own cause with statements like i ve been managing for 30 years, have made 30000 substitutions etc. Who the hell does he think he is???

  63. goonster says:

alright rico lay it on me….what good has he done??? That wasnt a requirement for a top class manager leceister just fired their manager. The greatest football story ever written. He won them a title against the odds. A year later they relieved him of his post. That was leceister we are the fucking arsenal ma’am. We are a 100 times what leceister is was and ll ever be. Am sorry but he hasn’t done squat.

  64. Le Coq Monster says:

I fear for Arsene if he was ever in a phone box with Lee and Goonster !……………………………..then again, maybe Arsene would have them killing each other with some mental strength talk !…………………..at least they would be in the right place for a call to The Samaritans ! 🙂

  65. goonster says:

LC he ll dead in minutes lol. Am a 6.3 dutch power house. Built like a tank. He won’t last 5 minutes. I wont even break sweat. Lol

  66. Le Coq Monster says:

Funniest result tonight would be what ?…………………..6-2 win and go out ? 🙂

  67. goonster says:

Lol give me some of that juice you re sipping LC. We score 6 against a top team?? Yeah right. Lol. We could against ludogrets with ozil looking like the reincarnation of Pele puskas and cryuff. Lol 6 against bayern??? Lol lol lol

  68. Le Coq Monster says:

Hahaha……………..and the juice I`m sipping tells me Sanogo will score them all !………………………………..even Bayerns 2 ! 🙂

Rico`s probably right !……….something to give us pride back, bit like the AC Milan game !
    🙂

  69. kelsey says:

I don’t think this has anything to do with the demo tonight and having told the players doesn’t mean the club have to announce it as yet.
AW sends two days ago that Ozil was still unwell (cough)
Something has obviously escalated and my gut feeling is that the Board new 2 months ago that he had made his decision.

If i am wrong the only alternative is he stays 🙂 He won’t walk out now regardless of results or protests as I think we and the club owe it to him to finish his contract.

  70. rico says:

Lc, it happens every season. Blown away in the first leg only to come close but not close enough…

Who’d bet against the Bayern manager doing Arseneca favour…. lol

  71. goonster says:

You guys keep forgetting one thing the players like their manager are wimps. The atmosphere ll be too hot for them. They ll fold like they always do. Bunch of overpayed prima donas.

  72. goonster says:

Lol how i wish it was a Maureen led team we re playing tonight????. Men that ll be a total wankfest if goals.

  73. Le Coq Monster says:

Which is why Rico, whoever comes in as manager needs to tighten our defense for the first law of title competitive teams……………..be hard to beat !

  74. Meerkat says:

    WOB’s and AKB’s?
Oh dear, excuse my ignorance, but what do they mean?
Not more death threats I hope.

  75. Le Coq Monster says:

I`m actually looking forward to tonight as there`s no expectancy, no stress, as in all truth, we have less chance of turning this around than Jimmy Savile being made Patron Saint of The NSPCC !

  76. rico says:

I suspect he will Lc, if he’s good…

Meerkat – Wenger out brigade and Arsene knows best…

Not a term often used on here…

  77. Marshall says:

Arsenal are always about anti-climax. We are a team of 2 halves, which goes back to questioning our mental strength. I hope the demos are loud and clear and visible.

This match has no significance anyway, those fans who’ll attend better let their frustrations be heard. Just don’t let Goonster in! 🙂

  78. ScottfromOz says:

    Morning all.
Arsene has stated he will be managing next season, so if he steps aside, he won’t be found upstairs.
Stan, you show little or no class towards the man.
You say he’s all things wrong with the world?
Funny, because whether you agree or not with his way of going about it, he wants Arsenal to remain a self sustaining club.
    He’s never tapped up players.
Never spoken to players about a transfer without going through the correct channels.
    He’s never discussed transfers publicly.
You condemn a man that operates in that morally correct way?
What’s really wrong with the world, Stan, is the fact people manage to find that attitude so terrible.
For all the bad he’s done, the one thing nobody with half a brain would ever suggest is it’s been done with less than honourable intentions because it’s simply not true-Arsene quite obviously believes in what he does, and his problem has been his stubbornness, not his lack of class, something a hell of a lot of Arsenal fans suffer as it’s on display daily.
Case in point-I’m not able to count the amount of times I’ve read Arsene should die.
Worst fans in the world, as a collective.

  79. goonster says:

Kelsey am not the one to say i told you so but erm sol just confirmed on BBC that wanker is staying. Lol wish we had a bet bro. I could have been a few quid richer.

  80. goonster says:

Scotty oz why ll i respect a man that shows total disdain to fans??? Let him earn my respect its reciprocal scott. You give it to earn.

  81. goonster says:

I dont know about you scott but i ll rather have a cant as a manager who delivers than a gentleman. He cam fuck off and coach golf then. This is football. Nice men dont play or manage it.

  82. goonster says:

Lol it gets worse. Dat guy is injured. Pulled a hammy during warm up. Oh oh this dont look good people.

  83. ScottfromOz says:

Stan, and that is exactly what’s wrong with the world-nice men don’t play or manage it.
    Says it all.
    Respect is reciprocal, you say?
Read your own comments and show me where you’re being respectful.

  84. goonster says:

Lol scott my own comments??? Read his first. Read his body language. See the disdain in his eyes. A power hungry despot who won’t let go yet knowing he cant proffer any solution to our impending demise. Scott why do you defend this man so vehemently?? When its obvious even to ray Charles he’s past it. Why?? Am intrigued. I want to know why you continually defend him?? What has he done in the past decade that deserves him staying??? What he has done in the past huh?? Alright am waiting for you or someone more knowledgeable to clue me in. Am waiting scott because sometimes i read your comments and am astounded.

  85. goonster says:

We want you to stay we want to stay arsene Wenger we want you to stay???? my spuds make is killing me on Twitter.

  86. ScottfromOz says:

Stan, I haven’t defended him at all, I’ve called for you to show some respect, especially as you’re labelling him disrespectful.
You read into my comments what you choose to-that’s not my problem.

  87. goonster says:

You always defend him scott…whats in it for you?? Do you get a certain percentage or what?? You talk about respect. Well he’s old enough aint he?? Do the right thing and bugger off then you ll get the respect you so much cherished. He’s not wanted anymore. Its clear for everyone to see. If he doesn’t someone is going to harm him. Mark my words. There are lot of angry psychotic fans out there.

  88. goonster says:

Now tell me why we don’t play like this every game??? See what I mean? This team has it in it to go toe to toe with any team anywhere. The problem is tactics, passion and set up which wenger is bereft of. Such a shame. A different manager a different outcome but we re stuck with him until “he” decides its time to go. Shame one man has all that power. Reminds me of another german despot. So sad.

  89. goonster says:

Rico he does with tongue in check yet barks at anyone who vehemently wants him out. This is a blog maam. We re all adults here. Am allowed to air my greivieances. He’s allowed his too right?? But i dont appreciate him trying to jump on anyone’s dick that has a different opinion. That saying i love the little ozzie bastard??? just want wenger has done to us all. The sooner he leaves the better. We can all unite and make arsenal great again.

  90. ScottfromOz says:

Rico, I do say he must go publicly, but behind the scenes, my royalty cheques are rolling in hahahaha
I’m missing a decent performance then?
    That’d be right lol
It’s all good Stan-we Butt heads and get over it quickly so no dramas 🙂

  91. goonster says:

Well err rico where was this against Watford, Chelsea and Liverpool? See that’s the problem one good game and you lot are back to maybe….christ in heaven.

  92. goonster says:

Am resigned to him staying. I ve got age on him. He ll be 70 soon am just 31 so hey let him stay another 10 years if possible. I ll have my arsenal back eventually. I just feel for all those protesting. Its all for nothing. He’s signed sealed and delivered. Another mediocre season ahead. Lol

  93. Bradster says:

Bayern is offering space and time all over the pitch, the Prem teams don’t offer that.
Different players seems to make a difference as well, ones that tackle in the midfield.

  94. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Are Bayern @ full rat power or just coasting? This is typical Wenger, he does this every year, gets his mates in the media, etc to come in to defend him at a time of crisis. You are all being conned. If he signs an extension that’ll be me till he’s gone. Mind you I’ll still tick my bucket list for ‘Watched game @ Ashburton Grove’ in September, but that’s to watch The Arsenal not Arsene, oh & hopefully get the tour with Charlie 🙂

  95. potter says:

Not me Goonie ,he has run his course. This the type of performance he should be getting from them all the time. LIking the Ox and Ramsey

  96. frednerk says:

You have to say once again Arsene
    has no plan.
    Sanchez uptops,Danny on the left.
    Danny pulls one,
    He bring’s in The Quiff
stick’s Sanchez out wide the Quiff uptop’s.
We need leg’s down the left.

  97. goonster says:

GG9 lol he’s staying and thats final. Lol???? we just can’t shake him. He’s like an old tick on a dog. He’s here for another 5 or more years. Hopefully less.

  98. goonster says:

Howdy potter sir i feel you but we just don’t have that power yet. Too many wengerites and undecided. I bet you 3 years from now we ll still be having this same discussion. He won’t leave sir. We are his. He built us.

  99. micko says:

Howdy Stan, know it’s hard to believe but I used to be 31 when I was your age as well !

Just sit back and relax in the knowledge that this may just be Arsene’s last European game in charge of us, every cloud has a silver lining.

  100. goonster says:

A different coach and maybe this lone goal ll take us through to the next stage. Instead we lost the first leg scandalously. What would GG have done after we went in at halftime 1.1. He would have played 2 banks of 4. Neutralizing and shutting them down but instead we capitulated again. So sad. Great ingredients bad chef( cook).

  101. goonster says:

Lol micko its so hard to cheer this lot knowing its just what it is…a false dawn. How are you slugger??? Doing well i presume.

  102. goonster says:

I see the faces at the Emirates. I see pain, disgust and some bugger taking a selfie. What kind of fan takes a selfie when we are being clobbered. This is what we have become. Oh highbury why did we ever leave you??? How i weep for my beloved arsenal.

  103. micko says:

Nite rico, don’t think the supporters will have much trouble exiting the stadium tonite, I’d say there be more congestion in Arsene’s nasel passages than outside the Emirates in the next 15 minutes.

All good Stan, unlike the nitemare thats unfolding in front of us yet again !

  104. Kel says:

10 is coming… the most embarrassing performance in the history of the club….

And people say to me be careful what you wish for when talking about wenger haha….

  105. Lewis says:

Why are we trying to play football. As soon as kos went off it was damage limitation. Why the fuck are we trying to play our way out of this.

One dimensional Wenger tactics yet again. No contingency in place for the likelihood of a player being sent off. It’s fucking dreadful. I could manage this team better.

  106. goonster says:

I get it Lewis but no need to show that. He’s a fucking disgrace. He’s an employee lewis. Shouldn’t he hang his head in shame too. God why us?? Why arsenal??

  107. micko says:

Kel, I know I’m a bit of a sicko but I’m quite looking forward to the post Arsene Apocalypse meself lol.

  108. gnarleygeorge9 says:

It’s time to activate the contingency plan, unless a new suitor has already been chosen. No more French influence, please!

  109. Marshall says:

An some how Wenger will find the words to justify the results, and put the blame elsewhere. Lol, that’d be retarded.
He’s just tightening his own noose with every game.

Wenger should walk tf out after this game. Or maybe he’s become accustomed to loosing, he doesn’t care at all. 2 more years you said?

  110. Meerkat says:

Sanchez is a disgrace, sitting laughing. And Petr Cech, he was laughing with him.
Sanchez is not a team player and needs to sod off.
Until the sending off, we were doing well, then the ref decided to intervene and ensure those big-headed barstewards (BM) had a bit of help from him. Ribery and Robben are nasty little gets, and seeing them smiling turned my stomach.
Arsene? Yeah, he again lost the plot and didn’t defend with ten men just to stop from being humiliated. Bould sitting there like a friggin’ dummy too. What’s the point of Bould? can anyone tell me?

Well, Le Prof will leave IMO, then let’s see how everyone feels next season when we are mid-table.

Scott. Btw, agree totally with your 7.22pm post. Arsene may no longer be able to cut it at this level, and should bow out ASAP, but I don’t agree with some of the disgusting stuff I’ve seen recently.

He doesn’t (no-one does) deserve that spew and bile being spat out at him. He is just trying to do his best, he isn’t losing deliberately just to piss everyone off. The fact is, he and his players aren’t good enough.
They are not murderers ffs. Just not good enough.

  111. Kk says:

Meerkat who employed Bould and the other useless assistants and coaches !? Wenger did..
Who brought in those gutless players? Wenger did. .
    Here is your answer. .

If there is anyone who is not a team player it’s arsene Wenger himself. .it’s all me me me..
    Stop making excuses for him.

  112. Marshall says:

Lol, let’s divert attention to Sanchez laughing. Hahah, it’s a joke!

So Sanchez, can’t cut a frustrated face cause he’ll be sulking, and can’t have a laugh with Cech (probably about the circus going onfield). There is no winning for him. It’s absurd after another humiliation you want to focus on a player smiling on the bench.

  113. Meerkat says:

What, do you lot only want people on here agreeing with one another all the time? I thought this was a discussion blog. My mistake.
You all carry on, patting each other on the back, verbally attacking Wenger, fantasising what you’d like to do to him. LOL.Good for you.
Stick it to him. It clearly makes everyone feel better.
Doesn’t offer any alternatives, but hey, that doesn’t matter, just slate the manager.

  114. potter says:

The first half shows what could be achieved but once the ref did his Greek duty to Germany we were scuppered. However that’s the excuses over. Our inability to defend is the reason we suffer these humiliations .Ferdinand was right when he said that we should have shut up shop and settled for a face saving draw.We just don’t know how to do it.

  115. Alex says:

I don`t understand why some people at the back of this bad result will make high expectation that Le Prof will go…..Hallucination ….lol

Le Prof will say the usual rhetoric’s
We where unlucky with the sending off of Koscielny ….bla …bla…bla ..and 10 v 11 Bayern is not something shamefull….Next …we move on ..AND THAT IS THAT.

    Onto the Football …
    Mustafi…and the OX

Fantastic …..desire….workrate they give their all .Even in such a big defeat i believe we have to respect and cheer the one they did all.Ramsey as well he paly his guts ,,,,,then the issue is always his abilty

    Feo

This is not a footballer and for me he can go up and down as much as he want but as long he has not got football brain is just useless.Waste…. Waste. He thumped blindly one goal and people will defend him but if you see the claimed but not given peno incident his body twist is at best farmer one not of an elite sportsman.Countless time is in the box has a lot of better options but is brainless man there is no need to say it we have seen him for a decade.

In my eyes the team is not equiped let alone to face the Bayerns and Barcas. Is absolutely a collection of mediocre players.Who will merit on to the high end teams from this players ??

    Alexis
He is an individualist not a team player if you ask me.At least among this players.
How many f…..ing times has been dispossessed the ball ? You can see Ancelotti noticed that he will keep the ball more than is needed and instruct them to persist get closer and he will loose it.
And exactly that is what happen. He suppose to be subbed very very early but then Le prof is Le Prof and needless to repeat things i guess.

    Ozil
Seriously ..?are there teams that will want to buy this primadonna?.He just do not give a toss when dispossessed the ball. No desire to fight back or tackle.I am absolutely convinced that among the German team will not act like that.Culprit is none but Le prof.

    Koscielny
Is out of form slightly better than Monreal form.Look at his performance and lets not fool ourselves. The other important thing he is rubbish when faced against big and strong strikers.Lewa and Cavani at the european stages they eat him live.He is good again the like of Sturidges but not big ones.Having saying that i dont fault his commitment.

    XAKA
The most expencive mistake in my eyes.Simply i will hold a bit my criticism just because is first season with us.SImply is just another polished sideways passer .
Can he go and initiate attack ? NO
Can he dribble and pass one -two players ? NO
Has he got any pace? No
Aggressivnes plenty ,,,,untimed…in unnecessary places that let him accumulate yellow cards

This man has to reform completely to satisfy my likes.

Huge surgery is required from the manager to the team in order to challenge with this kinf of opponents

  116. Marshall says:

How tf can anyone see we won’t be better without Wenge?

Meerkat take away the selfish Sanchez goals and assists this season and we are a mid-table team.
How to some people it’s okay to praise Wenger for what he did a decade ago and the same praise/recognition cannot be afforded a player who puts blood, sweat, tears (and a little laugh) in every game. Well praise whoever suits you.

  117. Meerkat says:

Marshall. Perhaps someone could point out where I have praised Wenger? No, thought not.

It’s not about that, I just don’t like some of the disgusting abuse and threats.

At the moment he is the manager, so until that changes, and it will soon, why can’t potential successors be discussed? Analise the team as the previous poster did.

Keep slating Wenger on here won’t change anything, it just gets cheap laughs that’s all.

We all agree the manager is past it, but what about the owner, the board, the players (yes, he bought them and we all agree he is the one to blame for that), but how can anyone think it acceptable for Sanchez to sit watching and laughing at his teammates getting stuffed? No wonder they don’t like him.
There will be another bust-up in training after the rest of the team see that on TV tonight.
Same goes for Cech too. They don’t give a shit about the club. Wenger does, whatever his faults, he loves the club.

Btw. *This meerkat guy* isn’t a guy. Never make assumptions.

  118. ScottfromOz says:

Plenty are happy laying the boot in and that’s just pure class.
Staunch as fukk are Arsenal fans lol
I said it yesterday and it stands-we have the worst fans in the world as a collective.
I’m embarrassed at fellow Gooners behaviour more than id ever be about a shit performance.
Meerkat, I often think I should just go with the flow and agree with everyone but fukk it.
Why should I be dishonest to myself and not say what I think.
One thing I know is plenty on the net are guilty of taking the easy path.
    Alexis laughing?
None of the Wenger haters even mentioned it and when it’s thrown up, of course hey have all the answers but the fact is he can piss off back to where he came from and I really don’t care how popular that view is.
    Was Kozzer laughing?
I’ll bet not but that’s because he gives a shit, and am I right In Saying that we were winning 2-1 over the two legs with Kozzer on the pitch……who’s our best player again?
I’m not suggesting we should not have a better defensive unit and there’s no way a single player should have such an influence on the performance, but all the talk of one player who wants out and so little discussion of a loyal clubman who’s recently extended.
Very sad day for the Arsenal.

  119. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Ms Meerkat, I hope I got that right.

Wenger loves the Club, but so do millions of other Gooners/tourist Gooners around the world. Its just that he gets paid via the rest of us, & he is not producing the goods on the field. Its not his Club, he is just the hired help, & he should be shown the door after multiple stuff ups, but no one in high places there has the will to do so.

But I agree with you re the abuse he gets, but its probably no different to that which Hitler or Mugabe get.

  120. ScottfromOz says:

GG, it’s been disgusting to watch but it does show the class, or lack of it, that people have.
    Criticise…..we all have.
    Want him gone…..we all do.
Question his ability, no dramas, but why abuse and insult him in a personal and nasty way?
Again, it says more about those people than it does Wenger himself.

  121. Meerkat says:

Just meerkat gg, that will suffice, lol.

Kroenke is a businessman, who isn’t in the slightest bit interested in football. He rarely has to even visit his investment, he has a manager in place who is turning him a tidy profit year on year.
Why would he want to change that? He doesn’t care about fans, just the money.

If we were to get someone with some real enthusiasm for football success and the club, they would see the wood through the trees, and realise that clubs go in cycles, and changes of manager are part of that cycle when the team become stagnant. Stan doesn’t see that, he just sees the balance sheets and stock market.

Wenger is guilty of looking after his boss’s interests, more than the fans. I hope your comparison with those psycho murderers, Hitler and Mugabe, is in jest;-)
Regardless of what Bill Shankley said, it’s not as important as life and death.

    Scott. Agreed, once again.
    Now for the inevitable flak!

  122. goonster says:

Hahahahahah some people’s delusions knows no bounds. You know what like i said i won’t even bother. Lol. Hey Marshall you re barking up the wrong tree mate. This is exactly why leshite still has a job. She said ” what is bould doing” hahahahahaha that was hilarious. Like i said earlier Wenger aint going no where anytime soon. We are stuck with him but am a generous man. I ll wait. 10 years 20. I ve got time and age on my side. He doesn’t. I ll get my arsenal back eventually. Am not in a hurry. ?????

  123. ScottfromOz says:

Stan, so we put our thoughts down and we are delusional?
Seems that’s a “go to” word for anyone who isn crass on the topic of Wenger lol
I wonder how many Wenger haters ever actually used that word until the last few years 🙂 🙂
I said to Rico earlier that if we cop a belting, it could well be the final nail in Arsenes coffin and so be it, but being happy and actually gloating when Arsenal lose is something I’d never consider doing.
    It’s a strange reaction to a loss.

  124. goonster says:

Scotty oz lol it was a bait and you took it. Hahahahahah you re so predictable mon ami. Lol anyway i believe he wont leave. Not just yet. He ll be here for another few years. I ve got time. Lol

  125. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Jest of course Meerkat 🙂

Call me old fashioned, but one of the first things the next manager should be doing is get the right man for the Captain’s armband. If you like, a Tony Adams type who commands respect & with plenty of grunt. Xhaka might just be that rough diamond just waiting to be polished. I’m just saying!

  126. goonster says:

No one here was laughing when we lost. Go back and read up the comments. I even condemned Sanchez for snickerring but like i said am not overly worried. I feel nothing anymore when we lose scott. I have had arsenal apathy for quite some time now. It doesn’t hurt anymore.☺

  127. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Scott,

The worst place to be in the current circumstances is about in the middle, you get it from both sides coz your words don’t compute with either arguments, so you get both sets of frustration unloaded onto you.

  128. Meerkat says:

gg, we do definitely need a Tony Adams type, who can see the game unfolding and can kick some butts. I’m not sure Xhaka is the man though, not enough ‘presence’ (and I don’t mean coz he keeps getting sent off, lol). He isn’t commanding respect. In fact no-one currently in the team is Captain material IMO.
I thought once that Steve Bould would do it from the bench, but no, not at all.
Adams would chew some of our precious little goonettes up for breakfast! Can you see him putting up with Sanchez with his attitude, in the team?

I fear for the future atm. Christ I even fear for the next game, how bad is that? It’s no fun is it, being a fan? LOL.
    G’night.

  129. Kk says:

So it’s OK to say Arsenal fans are the worst in the world and they are staunch as fukk as you put it?

    Thats class?

  130. ScottfromOz says:

KK, yes it is but in case you missed it, I said collectively.
If you feel it’s aimed at you then that would be your problem.
As usual though, picking one line out of a comment with so much in it is just what I’d expect.

  131. ScottfromOz says:

Meerkat, I think we all expected Bould to really light a fire under the boys, especially in defence.
Plenty suggest Wenger won’t allow it so there could be some truth behind that.
    Shame, really, if that’s true…..

  132. ScottfromOz says:

KK, just to clarify things-that post was aimed at those all over the net and FB who were seriously delightful at the fact we lost.
Plenty on here, me included, agreed before the game that if we lost, the positive would be it may tip Wenger over the edge and he will leave, but nobody on here would actually be happy in seeing the club lose-especially a bad loss.
I hope that clears things up and it wasn’t aimed at anyone here but I do concede the post wasn’t clear in that point.
Apologies to anyone who was offended….except Stan bahahahahaha

  133. potter says:

3 oclock in the morning here and I can’t sleep . Can’t turn off and can’t think what’s upsetting me.
Could it be the comedy show I watched earlier ?, it was slapstick of the highest order . Chaplin or Will Hay would have been proud to see so many errors of judgement albeit the timing of being in the wrong place at the wrong time was immaculate. I wasn’t surprised that we lost, I had money on a 3- 2 defeat but 5 – 1 again for the third time. What’s German for “” Can we play you every week “

  134. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Its ok potter, the nighshift is here to help, all the way from the South Pacific.

    BTW, anyone heard from Stan?

  135. ScottfromOz says:

    Lol Potter.
Not sure which of us is worse off.
I’ve copped it all day from “mates” lol
    It’s been relentless.
Of course, the bastards in question are silent when their mobs lose.
Have a wee dram or 6-see how that goes.
If it doesn’t send you to sleep, at least you’ll enjoy it 🙂

  136. potter says:

No doubt I will along with everyone else get it thick and fast tomorrow . Still taking your advice just poured a port and brandy , try that and see if I can creep into bed without waking the missus.

  137. potter says:

You talking about the Adonis or the silent one GG. If it’s the second one I doubt he even knows the score yet although I am certain he knows the share price.

  138. potter says:

He’s in his counting house , counting out his money. When along came a Gooner and smashed him on the nose .

Now that’s a nursery rhyme I could get to like.

  139. potter says:

Alex , you list the players and their faults but don’t forget who was responsible for buying them in the first place.

  140. potter says:

From ESPN :- With Koscielny on the field, Arsenal have outscored opponents by 35 for the season, the best differential of any Arsenal player. Koscielny’s presence also can be directly seen in defence, as opponents have a shot-on-target percentage of 36 percent and shot conversion percentage of just 28 percent. These numbers are dramatically better than when Koscielny is off the field. Arsenal have a negative seven goal differential without Koscielny, while opponents have fired 53 percent of their shots on-target and 59 percent of those into the back of the net.

This was never more evident than in the Round of 16 matchup against Bayern Munich, as Arsenal outscored Bayern 2-1 with Koscielny on the field but were outscored 9-0 with him off of it.”

  141. Bradster says:

I think it was our fragile confidence. The Prem match was let’s get at them and play quick direct ball and it was working.
After Kos was sent off their confidence dropped but they tried to keep trying the quick direct game.
After their second they lost all confidence and started playing for themselves.

At least Wenger speaks up about that shit linesman, missed so many offsides. The ref was weak and felt he needed to be involved to make calls on minor things and cards for things he could’ve just given a word.

  142. ScottfromOz says:

    Potter, thanks for those statistics.
Wenger still hasn’t done enough to sort the defence out, so I wasn’t attempting to deflect attention, but that shows exactly how good and how valuable Kosicelny is.
I’d say the two Bayern games show that he’s our most influential player, without any doubt at all.

  143. potter says:

Just posted an Obituary notice in the Denver Post it reads :- The sad demise of Arsenal Football Club.

No flowers please just send partially squeezed lemons to Stanley Kroenke and his son Josh..

Still can’t sleep but the Port and Brandies are going well.

  144. ScottfromOz says:

I just saw some, ahem, highlights and those holding the banners up were all bloody 18 year olds!!!
No doubt there were others but every one I saw was a kid.

  145. ScottfromOz says:

I just saw a March and that had a mix of ages so the first group weren’t representative-seemed funny at the time though.

  146. ausscotty says:

First of all Wenger should not be manager next season.

However, the first half was a great performance and show of will. Had it not been for poor officiating then i’m sure Arsenal would of again gone close.

Without Le Coq on the field, the ref definitely took his spot when it comes to poor performances.

I’ll stand by Wenger this time as his post match comments were spot on and not just excuses this time.

  147. Kel says:

It was a fucking horror show yet again… yes the ref was a dick, but he didn’t decide to bring in ozil, perez, after koscielny being sent off… for the love of God where is wengers pride…

Shameful… embarrassed to be an Arsenal fan today.

  148. Kel says:

I’m still confused at it Rico… some eejit on Arsenal fan tv said he was just giving him a run out lol

BTW that fan tv is pure cringe material, my facebook is covered in it other teams fans sharing it etc it literally is a comedy show about us.

Surely now some clarity on wengers future has to be announced. .

  149. rico says:

A run out? That’s funny Kel, especially as he was supposed to have been ruled out with man flu…

I don’t watch Arsenal fan tv and now I know why…

Doubt it re Wenger, the saga will no doubt roll on…

Which squad cost £16m more than the other one?

We get absolutely hammered 10-2 over two legs and Wenger blames the referee?!?! The bloke has no shame, how about a fucking apology?

Hopefully that pathetic result leads to him leaving!

    FUCKING EMBARRASSING YET AGAIN!

    EFL cup ❌
    CL. ❌
    PL. ❌
    FA cup. ❓

    Who would of predicted that??

  151. Kel says:

The officials were brutal… so when kos was sent off… surely you would think about not getting destroyed and embarrassed.. Gabriel and gibbs should have come on…

  152. Kel says:

Biggest defeat in europe for an English club…. biggest defeat at the Emirates.

Wenger… Arsenal is in great position. Lol

  153. ScottfromOz says:

    Morning all.
I do say the refs sending off was a joke, but so was the capitulation afterwards
    Blame the ref.
Blame Wenger but how about the players??
    I’ve always thought Kozzer was a star but I didn’t realise he’s a one man band 🙂
    Stan out-Blonde Adonis, my arse 🙂 🙂

  154. ScottfromOz says:

Guys, would an honourable loss make people feel better today, really?
    I’m not sure about that.
People would feel no different about the club and Wenger today even if we’d won 2-0.

  155. Kel says:

I don’t know about that Scott maybe you wouldn’t feel any different.. but a 2-0 would have made me feel better than another 5-1 destruction.
