No Champions League, no problem says Arsene Wenger….

Morning all.

Arsenal Football Cub is in a mess and there’s not a soul on the payroll who seems prepared to change things. Arsene Wenger looks set to stay on for at least another year, or that’s what the media and Tony Pulis would have us believe, unless the board/owner tell him otherwise which in itself is a laughable situation but it’s not funny, not anymore. Not that it ever was. No other club would behave in such a manner, certainly not one which believed that success means trophies, not building a massive bank account and yes, for those reasons, I hold the board/owner responsible.

But as far as all things football goes, Arsene Wenger is stale and I know, we’ve all been saying that for a while and writing the same old things each day has become incredibly boring, a bit like the Frenchman’s tactics, team selection, press conference and excuses and all of that was going on long before Stan Kroenke took control of the club.

A hamstring injury kept Mesut Ozil out of the team at the weekend, yet he’s now heading off to be with his German international team-mates. Funny how an injury which usually keeps a player sidelined for 2/3 weeks can suddenly heal but if we are to believe the reports in the media, it was Ozil who said he was injured although now it appears he simply didn’t fancy playing. Alexis Sanchez , despite hobbling off with suspected ligament damage to his ankle, has also joined up with his international squad and according to reports in Chile, well El Grafico, he’s fine: Alexis is “in good condition and can play” in the upcoming match against Argentina.

Yesterdays results meant we dropped further down the table into 6th spot, a position I think we’ll struggle to improve on this season despite having a game or two in hand over the teams above us and with Everton level on points with us with just one goal in it, this is heading for the worst season ever under Arsene Wenger. And who’d bet against West Brom catching us either as they are just seven points adrift. Yet the crazy thing is, many of us would say this is perhaps the strongest squad he’s had for a few years. On paper I’d say it’s stronger than that of Tottenham, Everton, Liverpool and even Man Utd but the man just can’t get them all working together. They are miles away from the team which blew Chelsea away at the beginning of the season, in fact that’s possibly the last time this team really clicked and now it’s looking likely that they’ll be no Champions League football next season and Wenger isn’t too concerned:

My decision will not necessarily be linked with that because I’ve done the top four 20 times. It’s more, it’s not that.

I take a bigger perspective than that. It’s not the last result that will decide what I will do.

It’s not (the end of the world), not any more. That was for a long time the case, but not today. Financially, I mean.

Of course, on the sporting front it would be a blow, but financially the Champions League does not have the impact any more that it had five or six years ago because of the influx of the television money (to the Premier League).

And there was me thinking a top four place was a trophy in the Arsene Wenger cabinet – but no, as he says, the money matters not these days because the television deals handsomely reward all the football clubs as do the fans who pay big money to sit and suffer what Arsenal dish up each week.

Another season of it just doesn’t bare thinking about…..

Oh well, at least the Arsenal Ladies battered Tottenham 10-0 yesterday……

    Thanks Rico.

    Last post !……………..

Maybe we should try a different strategy with Arsene !…………………….let`s praise him sarcastically instead !

“You`re a tactical genius !”………………………….”your substitutions are amazing !”…………………………….”the way you can change a game with french aristocracy!”…………………………….”your so modest about the bad luck you had with players you didn`t buy !”………………………………………………..” No Arsene that`s way too much to want to pay Kante, let Chelsea have him instead !”……………………………….”2000 games as a manager ?………..it only feels like yesterday that you revolusionised our game !”…………………………………..”I bet you want some ear defenders to stop listening to Steve Bould advise, he does`nt shut up does he !”

  2. Danish Gooner says:

He is such a hipocrite, the Cl is alfa and omega to him he even States that himself several times but Arsene Will say and do anything that fits his manuscript for him to stat in his vastly over paid job.

I have now gone beyond angry to just sad . At 70 years old having first gone to Highbury when I was 8 , having had a season ticket passed down through the family , what do I do now ? My first reaction is “He stays then I go. after all the ticket costs me about one and a half times my monthly pension. However I know that if he goes next year I would want it back , the enthusiasm would return and just the thrill of the live game , the uncertainty, would take over again. I know that should I walk in all probability I would never return because life is like that and the money I put aside would get swallowed by something else. Thanks Arsenal , thanks to all that have ripped this little bit of my life away.

    Not suicidal yet though.

“Of course, on the sporting front it would be a blow, but financially the Champions League does not have the impact any more that it had five or six years ago because of the influx of the television money (to the Premier League).”

So our only hope of ending this nightmare is relegation ?

  5. rico says:

Potter, it’s such a sad situation and I feel for guys like you who have been going for years. Such a tough decision to make re your ST..

  6. rico says:

That comment made me angry, if he now says that money is no issue, then why didn’t he spend more when he clearly could. Not saying he needs to spend everything in the bank but to go a summer and not sign a single outfield player when we were desperate for a striker at least was simply stupid.

  7. allezkev says:

    Morning All

    Morning Rico.

Well that’s two years more of Wenger I reckon, isn’t that exciting…

The supporters of Lord Wenger will be very happy and will feel vindicated, meanwhile the fan unrest is certain to increase.

All this is symptomatic of having an absent owner, out of sight, out of mind, and a CEO who has no authority over the manager and has nowhere to go…

The feelings towards the manager are only to get more hostile as we drift along, from formerly more middle of the road fans.

The schism between the pro-Wenger faction, despite it shrinking in size and the anti-Wenger faction, might grow to become unbridgeable. I predict more fighting in the stands, but Kroenke won’t care, more empty seats in the Emirates, but Kroenke won’t care as long as the money is in the bank, why should he?

  8. allezkev says:

Thomas Tuechel, sorry about the spelling Adam, isn’t he another manager who likes working on a tight budget?

Just perfect for the Kroenke model of making a nice profit…

  9. rico says:

    Morning Kev.

I simply can’t see any reason why he’d want to stay. He’s lost the fans, the players and now even ex players are telling him to quit while he still has some kind of reputation to keep.

All these cat and mouse games over his contract just shows what a control freak the bloke is. If he knows, we the fans should know….

  10. Alex says:

    Mornig Rico

Where is the evidence that this team is stronger than previous one talk.

Is it because that Xaka has been brought per 35M
In that depleted rag tag midfield.

I mean Arsene does not have any other method except the Tiki Taka game.None what so ever.

And one when just look at that midfield
    Coq
    Ramsey
    Ox
    El neni
    Xaka

They have not any technical level to play the Tiki Taka thing. All good at meaningless sideway passes.

    Phisicality
No one is idiot here .We all know the phisicality level required to sustain in 4 fronts for the entire season.Who is the foolish to tell us that this above mentioned player are resilient enough to endure the battle ?

Wenger and his hench men they got it very wrong not add top tecknical player in the summer. They where happy looking at basement ground and brought the likes of El neni for 5M.

Have you seen anything special except short sideway passes ,??

Add to it the perennial failures like Ramsey snd Feo and it is just reality what we are witnessing this days.

There is no technicality to speak of nor phisical attributes on this team.

For me it is the worse combined team that ever assembled by Wenger and the results speak for themselves.

Wenger will never leave the team in such disarray even if it is of his own making.Eloquently he will put is case to the board and as they have no clue whatsoever the board will back him and expect for us same all same crap.

  11. Meerkat says:

Jeez, what a decision for ST holders?
On another forum someone said I must ‘be fuming’ at what is happening. Strangely I’m not, I’m just gutted.

Why can’t the manager understand that the vibes now, are nothing compared to what they will be? Surely he can’t want respect to turn to loathing?
He needs an adviser, to take him to one side and read him his horoscope.

I still think the players are a disgrace, and the fact that Ozil is hiding away when the team need all the help it can get, is despicable.
Fit for Germany? Fit for nothing, IMO.And not fit to wear the Arsenal shirt either.

  12. rico says:

    Morning Alex.

Each to their own but on paper, we are stronger than we’ve been for a few years. The problem is the manager can’t get them playing together…

  13. Alex says:

If that Ozil plays for Germany …all this absence once with tiredness the other minute with flu was all bullshit. When Wenger extended the contract of the BFG my gut feeling was it could be a presence and influence on the dressing room.

Not even that works for Wenger….

Weak weak managment Arsene just go.

  14. kelsey says:

    Morning Rico and all.

So that tells me he is staying and CL isn’t a problem as TV money compensates that.He is a liar and why put himself through all this with a massive rebuilding job ahead, and to say CL doesn’t have an impact anymore he must be talking about Arsenal specifically.

Sanchez and Ozil both join their respective squads today.(surprise, surprise)

.Kroenke must have given him the nod. Oh dear,Oh dear.

  15. Le Coq Monster says:

He is right though !………………….this is the best set of strikers he`s ever had !………………..breaking all records they are !…………………..I`ve even heard they`re all on peanuts !

  16. Joaquim Moreira says:

change AW now. Replace for another one.
The big problem it’s the relation betweem AW and the players.
then, probably will be in the top 4.

  17. BT62 Gooner says:

Potter, that’s a terrible predicament to be in, i don’t know if you have considered leasing/renting your ticket out for next season.

I have a friend here who has been doing that for a number of years after moving from London to live here.

I hope you find a solution…….i think Mr.Wenger is going to be with Arsenal for a few more years…

    Heaven help us all

    Morning Rico and all.

  18. Adam says:

That’s a deep sink hole that Wenger has sunk into and it seems he is still digging. The club might find that, once they are shot of him, it’s a long way back to the surface. If he stays, then expect every press conference next season to centre on his replacement and every defeat to be greeted with ever more anguish from the supporters which the media will delight in. If he does stay I can envisage some really horrible times ahead, but he seems completely immune from it. Almost as if he is in a bubble of self assured contentment in his management even though every sinew should be screaming at him that he has it completely wrong.
What is he going to do? Re-invent himself and his football philosophies at close to 70 years old, build a new team and win the PL?
And in the meantime the Arsenal sites can continue bitching about who is really to blame.

  19. allezkev says:

Didn’t someone mention the other day, I think it may well indeed have been Potter, that you can have a break from your season ticket but still retain it..?

I guess next season is the time to do it, but for a number of reasons…

Not only will you spare yourself from 10 months of frustration, spin and lies.

But you might find that you won’t miss it as much as you initially thought you would?
You might find that you find other things to do instead?

You can still ‘enjoy’ it, but from a distance, without spending a whole day based around something that leaves you upset.

And think of the money that you won’t be putting into Kroenkes pocket?

And if after a year, you want to go back, we might have a different manager and a different vibe around the stadium/club/franchise?

I never thought that after being an Arsenal nut for more years than I care to recall, that I could become so apathetic about going to live games. Spending time with my son and his friends make it bearable.
The rest of it is a cynical, Americanised charade, intended to part you with as much of your dough as Kroenke can possible parr you with.

  20. BT62 Gooner says:

Thanks Rico, i had a sneaking suspicion he might be, perhaps the fine art of subterfuge was at work.

  21. Meerkat says:

Well there are reports on Sky that Arsenal have been in Germany, sounding out the Borussia Dortmund manager to take over in the summer!

  22. Le Coq Monster says:

Talking of difficult times, have you seen our April congestion ?………………could be The Ides of April for Arsene !

    2/4 Mansour City (H)

    5/4 W Ham (H)

    10/4 C Palace (A)

    17/4 M`boro (A)

    23/4 Mansour City (Semi)

    26/4 Leicester (H)

    30/4 Spuds (A)

The only one I feel confident of is `Boro away as their Strikers are on strike ! hahaha

  23. Le Coq Monster says:

Plenty inc` BBC contradict that rumour, M`kat and in anycase Pulis said Wenger told him he will stay !………………we will know soon enough !

I cant believe he would want to carry on ……is he that thick skinned or are we thick skinned in believing we are in the majority of wanting him gone !………………I mean, there has been no official poll on Wexit has there ?…………………………….what sort of swing do we need ?……………………………does anyone know what his manifesto is about ?…………………….could we have a hung management ?…………………..who wants to tie the knot then ?……..my monies on Lee ! hahaha

  24. Le Coq Monster says:

Article 50 will be triggered on 29th March !…………………………..a great day to trigger Area 51 and get Arsene locked away as well ! hahaha

  25. Meerkat says:

LOL. Le CM, was that when Pulis, Spam and NapoleONE, joined Arsene for a boy’s night out?
They all had a few drinks and a heart to heart chat.

Nah, Le Prof is keeping schtum, he knows if he so much as sneezes it will reach the press.

If he has any close friends, real friends who care about his emotional wellbeing, they will have a good chat with him.

  26. Kk says:

    Afternoon,

Terrible state of affairs at our club. .
And wenger is vastly responsible for this mess. what a selfish bugger!

If I held a season ticket for as long as some folks here have, and I can somehow afford it , I would keep it ..then I would either rent it (compromise ) or use it and show all my anger and protest with all means against wenger and the board at every opportunity I get. It can be therputic?

Not ideal, but wenger wouldn’t be there eventually.

    God help us!

  27. rico says:

    Alan Smith:

“If Arsenal are not sounding out managers at this stage there is something badly wrong, they are not doing their job,” Smith told Premier League Daily.

“If Wenger said tomorrow ‘right, I’m leaving’ then Arsenal would be left high and dry because they would have to scramble to see who might be out there and who might be available.

“They have got to sound people out. That would only be natural. Whether that is through a third party or whatever – that happens all the time.

“[Massimiliano] Allegri has been mentioned at Juventus and there is [Leonardo] Jardim, the coach at Monaco who has done really well.

“It is a plum job. I’ve said this before about Arsenal. They will be scrambling over each other to get into the hot seat. It’s a fantastic job to take.

“It’s a beautiful stadium in London where a lot of the foreign managers want to come and a lot of the foreign players want to come. I don’t think that advantage is being exploited enough at the moment.

“But as a board they have to be looking at who might be available if Wenger does walk away.”

  28. Meerkat says:

And he needs to be able to multi-task for quite some time, until he manages to relinquish/delegate roles appropriately. This is an area of utmost importance, so that this situation is never allowed to arise again, where one man is indispensable.

Alan Smith is right, any competent Board would be putting out feelers to other managers.
But, alas, there lies the problem!!

  29. Le Coq Monster says:

Agree peoples !…………………..it`s a plum job and surely they must be or have been putting out feelers !……………………I reckon they have as I phoned up about an interview for the up coming vacancy of Arsenal Football Club manager and they told me to fcuk off !…..that I was only a Van Driver and that putting Van in front of Driver did not make me an expert on Dutch Total Football !……………….they said that they have an endless list of top Van Drivers wanting the job and even Cabbies, but they draw the line at Uber drivers !

  30. Le Coq Monster says:

That fcuks it up then M`kat !………………………..men cant multi-task, we need a woman !……………….what you and Rico upto next season ?

  31. frednerk says:

    Afternoon Rico and All

We gave up our season ticket’s 4 years ago
    and just keep Silver Membership’s.
Very happy we did, because this has been going
    on for years.

Most season’s the captain Fu*k’s off,
this season we have a captain who sit’s
    on his Arris.

The only leader we are allowed to have
Is You Know Who (Control Freak).

    What another fine mess Ollie.

  32. Lee says:

“I take a bigger perspective than that – it is not the last result that decides,” said Wenger, whose side ended the weekend further adrift from the Champions League places in sixth spot, six points behind fourth-placed Liverpool, who have played two games more, and two behind Manchester United. “It will not necessarily be linked with that. I’ve done the top four twenty times, it is not that.”

How about the last seven results??? FFS just piss off….

  33. rico says:

Afternoon Fred. Don’t blame you but must have been a hard decision to make..

So you don’t want Wenger to stay then Lee? Lol

  34. Le Coq Monster says:

I only think as a fan and not like Kroenke in that anything inbetween 1st down to 17th position doesn`t matter !

CL would only be interesting if it was a non seeded knockout competition from the start and as for the EL……………….do we really want to play a team of part time goat shaggers from Kazakhstan ?

It`s all about the money money money

  35. Le Coq Monster says:

Apologies to any Kazakhstan Gooners as I`m sure it`s only a Kazakhstan Spud which shags goats !……………………………………..and I would have no problem with the multi billionaire ……Stan Kazakh taking over from the useless American Syrup shagger…..Stan Kroenke !

    Stan Kazakh In !

    Stan Kroenke Out !

  36. rico says:

You couldn’t yet for so many years we’ve been fed that line, even when we’ve had money….

His comment about giving £100 million back if given it still irks….

  37. Adam says:

Rico. That money stuff was a convenient excuse. The more he’s spent, the worse we’ve got. It’s the “I could have signed” this or that player that is irritating as he thinks it shows him in a positive light. To me it’s the opposite.

  38. Le Coq Monster says:

    Adam
Trust me it`s a great listen for about 15 mins and basically saying every thing most of us think !…………it doesn`t matter what station it is or who is saying it, it hits the right note…………………..listen and tell me you dont agree with what you hear ! 🙂

  39. Adam says:

LC. I am sure it is great but I never listen to TalkSport on principle over their stance on the Eduardo injury. As for Piers Morgan, I consider him to be one of the biggest pricks alive today.
So, I’ll pass on that one.

  40. Le Coq Monster says:

Fair enough and understand. I`m not his greatest fan either, but for a prick he does talk some sense on the current issue in hand …….although he didn`t hit the right spot where Kroenke is concerned imo, he says he is one of the richest football owners in the world, but he failed to say that he wont spend his own money on Arsenal like Abramovitch does at Chavs, the rest is spot on though…………… lol

  41. Le Coq Monster says:

I listen every Friday when Perry is on !……………….I like hearing him come out with some sophisticated words and muck them up ! hahahaha

  42. Kk says:

Desperate times call for desprate measures..
We may have to rely on the like of Durham and Morgan to do us a favour and increase the pressure on wenger . .
At the moment I can take listening to any buffoon out there other than wenger really!

  43. Le Coq Monster says:

    Stan….$7.4B………………….his wife…..$6B……………………Usmanov….$15B

Kroenke is missing a trick by not getting his wife to sponsor us as a heir to Wallmart !.

  44. Meerkat says:

Donald Trump is a buffoon, but Wenger is just over the hill re football coaching and man management.
I can never see him as a buffoon, just past his sell by date.

I just know he loves Arsenal, and that is his Achilles heel. He can’t see the end is nigh on the love affair, and is too emotionally involved with the club.

Sorry everyone, I still want him to walk away with some dignity intact.

  45. Adam says:

I think we all have our own idea of what’s going on really Rico though, until we know his decision, we cannot be sure. These are bad times at Arsenal, the worst for a long time I would think but now things might have a momentum of their own.

  46. Le Coq Monster says:

Fcuk !…………….I just clicked onto my link and even though I had seen it before hand, he still scared the shit out of me ! hahahahahaha

  47. Le Coq Monster says:

But what about Piers Morgan, Adam ?……………………he said he could do a better job than Arsene in the TS interview ! hahahahha

  48. Le Coq Monster says:

Just by looking at Simeone`s photo I have sent him some money and he didn`t even ask/threaten for it !…………………what a guy ! hahahaha

  49. Le Coq Monster says:

I can just imagine Theo taking some of his TJ books to Simeone for an opinion and Diego pissing all over them ! hahahahaha

Anyone ever watch Paul Kayes MTV series….Mike Strutter ? ……………if you have you`ll know what I mean by the above !………………..they are quite adult themed, have a look on youtube, it`s rude but funny !

  50. Le Coq Monster says:

There`s some out there, Rico, including my fav`s Koeman and Simeone, but can we get any of them ?…………..Tutchel(spelling), Allegri, Jardim, I have no idea about, just hope we get quality !………………………..although someone tough like Simeone is growing on me, he has the ability to take the punishment of say Theo`s face doing some damage to his knuckles without complaining ! hahaha

  51. BT62 Gooner says:

Rico, have you 15,000 Emirates air miles? if so Emirates Airline can guarantee you a ticket to any of the Semi Finals, in the fan section of your choice..

    What a joke..

  52. potter says:

No doubt Gazidis will creep out of the woodwork and complain about the number of freeloader tickets unless of course it’s in his interests.

  53. ScottfromOz says:

    Hi GG,
Because I refuse to blame Arsene for everything that’s wrong at the club, that’s what I’m labelled by plenty even though I’ve said he should go, and I said that after the 2014 FA cup win.
No, I’m definitely not though, to answer your question.
He makes too many mistakes for anyone to find no fault with him, imo, but equally, there’s too many others at the club doing damage for anyone to say it’s all on him, so I stand right in the middle.
    He must go.
    So must others.
That’s as clear as I can be but yes, some will read that and suggest I’m an AKB lol
I’ll add this-if I offer that opinion, which I have a squillion times on various pages and groups, nobody accuses me of hating the man.
    Funny, that 🙂

  54. ScottfromOz says:

I reckon he is going, by the way, GG.
I won’t celebrate even though I’ll be happy.
I’ll hope he goes to PSG and wins the CL next season.

  55. Lee says:

I hope the new Arsenal manager wins the CL next season and if Wenger maintaines his one dimensional style of football he’ll never win the CL.

  56. ScottfromOz says:

Lee, I thought you were saying we can’t make CL next season 🙂
Sorry mate, but I agree with you and that’s why I made that call.

  57. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Maybe Scott he is actually going. He & his minders may just be playing possum with the media & fans about where he will spend the next 2 years.

  58. ScottfromOz says:

GG, so many conflicting reports but that’s Arsene and Arsenal for you, and I reckon all the BS they feed us annoys fans even more than poor results but that’s just my take on it.

  59. Lee says:

“This was a meeting about the club’s future strategy and their policy. Financial terms or a contract have not been discussed, since that is not my priority at all.“I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days.“Out of my huge respect for Mr. Wenger, the players and the fans I don’t want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.”

    RvP 5 years ago…..

As for the usual suspects (average Arsenal players) blowing smoke up Wenger’s arse maybe it’s because they’re on bumper contracts that no one else would offer them?

  60. Adam says:

Morning Rico and all. When I heard that Wenger had extended the contracts of Giroud and Coquelin it was yet another pivotal moment for me.

  61. Marshall says:

    Morning all
If you think our season is bad, I believe we are in for an outrageous TW (especially if Ozil and Sanchez leaves.) As for the rest of stale players like Ramsey, Coq, Monreal -not listing Iwobi as he’s still young – they’re stuck with us. We can’t sell them cause they are shit players on high wages.

Scott, agree on that link. Kids look up to these superstars. Not selling them would be my first action, a good manager would just/try to straighten them up. Look at Costa -he’s had tremendous improvement.

  62. Marshall says:

Van Persie was right. He knew had he stuck with Wenger he’d have come out of England without a premiership medal. Some players just want to win.

  63. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Adam
Coquelin, IMO, is just an angry ant. He goes full on into tackles to compensate for his lack of quality. i don’t reckon he has much between the ears. I might be wrong ofcourse?

    Only 2 sleeps to go?

  64. rico says:

    Morning Adam, all..

RvP was to be admired really, after all, he told the fans the truth. It hurt that he chose Utd, but only because our own club in theory, pushed him out…

Marshall, only compared to Usmanov… lol

Today the headlines suggest he’s staying put and ready to have a massive change in the squad. Alexis and Ozil out and Wenger is set to rebuild us into a great team again……

    Oh the irony….

  65. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    rico

Arsene Wenger, is a dead man walking football wise. At least 50% of the Club he managed 12 years ago has dumped him. I know you will all probably have to take poop from Spuds fans for a while, but Arsene Wenger is a chump now. You should all keep up the ‘Wenger Out’ pressure on him, coz he is phucked as far as being footie relevant. The real issue is getting rid of that germ Krankie & his offspring. But you hurt his business portfolio, you can all defeat him.

    Up the Arse!!!

  66. rico says:

    GG,

I know, staying makes no sense to me as his life will be hell. The fans will just get more noisy, the media etc questions will be more and more difficult and he won’t be able to open a newspaper without seeing his own stressed face on the back pages…

    He should just go…

  67. ScottfromOz says:

Guys, RVP had no issue with the clubs “lack of ambition” when they supported him during his personal issues and for the years he received his salary while in the medical room.
I’m starting to realise more and more that loyalty is dead.
So is the appreciation of it.

Back in the ’70’s we’d get the Big Match, Star Soccer here, & the thing that hooked us into pommy footie was the crowds, the noise, the songs, etc.

i know I come on here & wind you all up about England & its sport, but its you the fans/supporters that will & always will be the heart & soul of The Arsenal. You inspire, especially the away fans. Give yourselves a pat on the back, to me you are The Arsenal & Choochie Graham?

Can’t live in the past Scott, the club chose to renew his contract whilst knowing his injury problems. Same with Diaby and a few others including Sanogo…

And don’t forget, this was at a time when the financial restrictions were gradually being lifted and we were being promised great things by the club…

    GG, well said.
It’s a crying shame those running the game have less appreciation than people like you.

GG, back in the 70’s that’s all we got here too, The Big Match with Brian Moore. I used to always sit with my late Nanny and Grandad and what the games – special times…
