Merry Christmas….

Morning all.

Well, have you or your significant other half got the brussel sprouts on boiling yet?

I always think of Sir Terry Wogan when someone mentions the sprouts at Christmas because the very topic was a favourite of his. A running joke from early December which I probably heard every morning as my parents were avid listeners. Mind you, I found Terry Wogan very amusing full stop, and from a young age. They certainly don’t make DJ’s like him anymore..

This Christmas is about firsts for me. The first time I won’t see my mum on Christmas Day as she passed away just a few months ago. The first in our new home and the first time I’ll be spending Christmas morning on the beach with the woofa. It’s the first time I’ve prepared and frozen the roast potatoes and parsnips too. If Aunt Bessie can do it, so can I.

It’s hard to believe that today is the 15th Christmas of Highbury House. Not for one minute did I expect HH to be going for so long but it’s because of you guys and those before you that it is. Oh, and a very good technical genius behind the scenes.

Trust me, there has been times when I felt like giving up but that was when Arsenal looked like a club which had given up. These days though, things are much improved. Enough to win a trophy this year I’ve no idea but one can only hope so.

Enough waffling on from me about me as all I really wanted to do is wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Enjoy.. 🎄🍾🥂

Thank you ” mams well ” Enjoy your walk and your veggie dinner (I think ). It is a time of reflection as much as one of making new memories and on that subject as a club we have been top at Christmas before what we have to do now is make sure that we are top at Easter and beyond .
Have a good one everybody ! Keep the faith and merry Christmas .

You are right Potter, a veggie version in my home.

Walk was lovely thanks, chilly but sunny.

Agree, let’s hope we can break the duck come May..
