Medicals set as strikers to sign….

Well the silly season continues as we hear from several obscure radio stations and media outlets around the planet that Higuain is all set for his Arsenal medical today….. Yes I did say today. I would say that seems a little far fetched seeing as we have still not heard a peep from either Arsenal or Real Madrid on the subject but I suppose we can but hope there is some semblance of truth in this. Arsenal have a delegation in Madrid according to some reports, again all will be revealed soon enough.

We now also have supposed comments coming out of Italy from players that Higuain is going to London, does that mean he’s going to the Chav’s…? Am surprised no one has twisted that comment yet so that it will read that Arsenal have lost out on him.

The other Striker that’s about to sign is of course Yaya Sanogo, it’s been well publicized that he is going to join us but I’d expect he’ll sign on July 1st, the media stories over this highlight the lack of proper stories out there. Lets hope his signing means the end of his injury problems and lets also hope we have covered ourselves in that regard in respect to clauses in his contract.

We are as usual linked with numerous other names from all over Europe, names we’ve heard of names that we have not,  as we all know and as has been discussed for weeks we’ll know the truth when the player is on the pitch parading in The Arsenal shirt.

We now have comments attributed to Tony Adams saying Rooney can’t handle London and would be a huge risk for Arsenal, has anyone wondered if TA is being a secret double agent here…? What if those comments are aimed at winding Rooney up to get him to come to us and prove TA wrong..? mind games maybe..?

I think it’s going to be a long long week of gossip and scoops most of which simply won’t happen or never were in the first place. This is the time of the season where Arsene will be in touch with his team of deal makers, he’ll know the targets the prices and they will be busy making things happen. They better be otherwise we’re going to have a great many unhappy fans come Sep 2nd.

I think the next few weeks will be very significant in how our club moves into the future and the direction that we take. I for one am staying positive until proven otherwise, one last show of faith in the manager and the execs to deliver the quality players we need.

Enjoy your day.

    Morning all,

Another fine post WATH… what have you been drinking? 🙂

On other news… Usmanov said and I quote: “My point of view is that Arsène knows best.”

Is that statement not worrying for the AW out brigade?

  2. Adam says:

Morning Wath and all. I am beginning to feel a bit sorry for Tony Adams. He seems to think that his status as an ex-Arsenal player and excellent captain gives him a degree of credibility. He obviously has an overwhelming feeling of entitlement where the club is concerned. I am afraid that nothing he has done since leaving the club has really been that succesful or remotely interesting. He talks a good game but increasingly reminds me of the strange uncle that gets drunk at parties.

  3. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, The GG for breakfast works wonders mate.

I think anyone who could be bothered to read will know that Usmanov has never said Wenger needs to be moved on…! I think most of us on here have said we wanted Usmanov with Wenger to see how that went…! You’ll know that was what most of us felt here, Usmanov in doesn’t mean Arsene out…!

  4. tsgh says:

… TA is definitely the drank uncle who is first to dance at a family wedding.

Even the Romford Pele disagreed with Big TA on my favourite dribble radio station…

  5. W.A.T.H says:

Adam, seems to me the only time TA has done ok since he’s stopped playing was when he was No2 to ole Arry down at Pompey..! I would think TA would make a decent defensive coach but he doesn’t come across as a manager thats for sure.

  6. rockyrocastle07 says:

Morning all. I agree Adam… He seriously thinks he is King Shit at the moment. His opionions really seem to be hampered by years of getting completely c*nted! I still love the guy though!! He’ll never stop being my earliest hero. Big Tone chasing the Romford Pele round a Pizza Hut with a fire extinguisher was a real high point for me!

  7. Adam says:

Wath. That’s probably because Twitchy couldn’t understand it when Tony recycled the thoughts of Nietzche from a book he recently read.

  8. Wavy says:

I have heard, from a reliable source, that Sanogo has been signed to act as a donor human. His contract reads something along the lines of, ” which ever limb, organ or other replacable part is needed by Abou Diaby, in his search for fitness, will be removed and replaced by a similar body part given, freely, willingly and without prejudice to the afore mentioned Abou Diaby as and when the need arises.
So, Sanogo’s role has been identified right from the start. He will be the spare parts provider!
    Innovative signing?

  9. W.A.T.H says:

Rocky, can tell you a few stories from the old Ra Ra days…..! I bet TA can’t remember many of those..!
I think TA says what he thinks, the problem is a lot of that is rather controversial and is jumped on by the media if it goes slightly against the grain of what the club say or do and of course lets be honest in the fact they twist his words best way possible.

Ts, we disagree on players on here so why would ex pro’s not disagree on players that they think would improve the Club, it’s natural to all have players they like and dislike.

  10. rockyrocastle07 says:

All good thanks Ts – You? Yeah, I bet Tone couldn’t believe his luck when he was having a go on Caprice! That gave hope for all us ugly folk out there!

  11. tsgh says:

Apart from being a monday morning, its all good….

my pocket is not that deep like TA, so I have given up hoping… lol

Caprice is looking a real state now though…

  12. W.A.T.H says:

Adam, you think Arry enjoyed TA playing the piano in the dressing room to calm everyone down at half time..?

  13. rockyrocastle07 says:

True Adam. Bottom line is, likw Wrighty, he’s just pissed off with the way things are going and gets frustrated. But he does seem to come out with some bizzare ramblings occasionally.

  14. tsgh says:

WATH… we only disagree on one thing… to me Yao Gerv is Zico reincarnated.

That comment will probably bring SYG out fighting from Cyprus 🙂

  15. Adam says:

I think so Wath. I reckon his version of My Old Man’s A Dustman must have sent them out for the second half with renewed determination.

  16. Adam says:

Rocky. When I came out of the station the other night a strange bloke appeared from the shadows right before me and screamed “The Blood Of Jesus Washes Whiter Than Snow”.
    I’m sure I recognised him.

  17. W.A.T.H says:

    U got it Rocky…. 😉

Very stirring Adam, you can just imagine eh…. Enough to make Chas n Dave retire…!

  18. tsgh says:

WATH isn’t passion fruit a bit too exotic for you? I thought the only fruit or vegetable you ate was the 2 bulbs of tomatoes from the tin you have with your English breakfast… 🙂

    Hi Wavy?

  19. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, I am not a fan of tomatoes Ts, passion fruit with my morning GG is pretty tasty although GG and cranberry is my absolute fav..!

  20. Adam says:

There’s none so ardent as a slightly disjointed character with a message is there? Especially if he is filled with righteous indignation.

  21. W.A.T.H says:

gooners, lets not believe everything that’s printed in the media that TA has “apparently” said…!

  22. rockyrocastle07 says:

I’d love to see the list of players Tone wants us to buy! Does he think Ronaldo will come to us? I’d happily take Reals cast-offs seeing as they are better than us currently.

  23. W.A.T.H says:

It would make me laugh if the swampies sign David Villa and we sign Hig, would show just how big that shadow is that they live in…!

  24. W.A.T.H says:

Rocky, I’d def be interested in 1 or 2 from Madrid thats for sure…! Ts loves Khadira, i wouldn’t mind him..!

  25. W.A.T.H says:

I’ve watched that greek centre half at Schalke a few times and although pretty decent he ain’t worth the kind of money they spouting on about… Obviously his agent looking for a new deal at Schalke..!

  26. rockyrocastle07 says:

Khadira would be an amazing signing! I would love Casillas and di Maria too. But if they came, in Tone’s eyes, they must be wank.

  27. tsgh says:

WATH, does Eboue play for RM.. I want him too

Ozil will make me very happy. ALonso deputising for MA08 will also give us that stability…

  28. Scott from Oz says:

    Hiya Wath.
    The greek kid is good.
Still a kid though, and has a lot to prove before being worth that cash.

  29. Wavy says:

Cynical? On a Monday? Me? Never!
Have a bit of sympathy for Sanogo though. He is already ‘legless’! Ho,ho.
TA continues in his own insane way. Bless him he can’t help it. He has a short circuit between his mouth and his brain. When they dished out brain co ordination his arms and legs got the lot, but sadly they forgot to connect the brain to the mouth, so he cannot judge what he is saying esp to journos, he just says the first thing that comes into his mind, such as it is!
He needs to get over it. He has been dumped like an old lover but he cannot accept the truth – there is no love, well not for him. We have all moved on. We, at the Emirates have new lovers! We have moved on, time for him to do the same.
Perhaps he needs to be reunited with Flash ‘arry, the twitchy one seems to like Tone’s ego massaging skills! A marriage made in madness – ideal!

  30. Lewis says:

    Good day gooners.

Nice post WATH. As you say, one last show of faith in the manager, all the noises so far have been positive.

  31. tsgh says:

Hi Scott, I thought the time difference between the UK and the Aussies was just 7 to 10 hours… isn’t 12 years a bit too far behind? 🙂

  32. W.A.T.H says:

Thing is with Alonso Ts is that we should of bought him when we had the chance and baulked at an extra million…! He’s now to old to cover for MA8…! I like Khadira and as Dev was saying last night he likes Bender although am sure Adam will have something to say about Dev liking a Bender..!

Ts, have you seen much of Ginter…?

  33. bob john says:

I find it a bit worrying that other clubs arent after Higuain. Mourinho and Pellegrino would know all about him and dont seem interested. Bit like the Arshavin signing when no one else bothered.

  34. W.A.T.H says:

Bob jon, Juve want him….!?!?!? Also Moreenya seems to think he wants to buy more expensive signings…!

  35. tsgh says:

WATH… Mr Dev and I have discussed both players on here before.

Personally I think Lars Bender is better than Sven, even though Sven is the defensive one and plays for a better team in BVB09… Lars is a bit like Ramsey or Khedira in that they are have good engines…

Ginter reads the game like Thuram and that is saying something… He hardly gets booked for a DM/CB. This was Matthias first season and because Freisburg are doing well… I am not sure he will move.

  36. rockyrocastle07 says:

Ts – Maybe Tone does that in a bid to get the focus off his shambolic bottom set of gnashers?! They’re line burned chips.

  37. tsgh says:

I totally agree with your views on Alonso… on his wages and age, unless he is coming as a freebie it won’t be a good idea…

  38. W.A.T.H says:

Rocky your such a spiteful git, such cutting words on our Tone…!

Ts, money talks mate if Ginter is that good get him now before his price rockets, he’s also 6ft + eh… we def need to add more physical presence to the side and get away from a team of dwarfs

  39. tsgh says:

I am with you there WATH… he is very good.. and he has been tipped to make the WC squad next season

He is german Phil Jones if you like… He plays both DM and CB so well, its difficult to tell what his position is…

FC Munchen want him now so as I said I am not sure he will move to us
unless he is guaranteed playing time…

  40. W.A.T.H says:

Rocky, Tony was proper on the pitch mate and i wish we had a few more than him, he has my respect as well as he went through a lot of grief and still came back strong. I still say he speaks from the heart and says what he thinks and is 100% passionate about the club but it’s not always good with the media picking apart his every word that’s all. A true Arsenal legend for sure.

  41. W.A.T.H says:

So we’d be one youngster well worth the risk Ts..? He looks a big lump for 19…! If he has half the footie brain of Thuram he’ll do for me…!

    Who is this allezkev AK…?

  42. tsgh says:

    From the Bavarian forum…

Bayern Munich are one of many clubs who are interested in 19 year old German DM/CB Mathias Ginter who currenttly plays for SC Freiburg and is in this years U21 European Championship Germany squad according to spox.com……

Google Translation: Also at the U-21 Championships is Matthias Ginter . But its future is not for sure yet. Dortmund, Stuttgart, Bavaria … more and more clubs seem to be interested at Defensive Allrounder. The “mirror” reported today that even now the Arsenal became aware of Ginter. The Gunners are reportedly ready nearly seven million Euros to put on the table for Freiburg.

  43. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, you seen the interview with the BFG where they ask him which player would be his dream to play with, he says TA.. he then adds he comes to the stadium and sometimes to the dressing room and it’s amazing the feelings you get to have such a player around the team…!

I think that says a lot about the repsect within the game that TA still has..!

  44. allezkev says:

Morning Adam, Rocky, Wath & Gooners…

    So, another ‘no-news’ day I see…

Not at the Flyers Wath… 😉

  45. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, how many more f’kin players do Munich want…?
No messing, Offer 10 million and lets get him in.
    Mornin Lee, just got up…?

  46. tsgh says:

SC Freiburg finished 5th last season… they had the 2nd best defensive record in the Bundesliga if I am not wrong.

They also have Max Kruse who Dev rates… he is in the Senior German squad already

  47. ktr7 says:

    Good read.

If Adams thinks higuain is a cast off he needs to have his head checked.Hig’s record speaks for itself.he is also the top scorer in the qualifiers in their region ahead of the likes of falcao and messi.

Also Inter signed sneijder from madrid who was considered as surplus but he went and led inter to a treble.Robben went to bayern and led them to their 1st CL final in almost a decade scoring beauties in every KO round.

I believe higuain can make thay sort of impact if he is given the responsibility. If he is made a star player in the team he’ll blossom.

  48. Wavy says:

TA a great player, defo. A balanced human being NOT. He is delusional. Not sure he lives in either the same world or the same time frame as the rest of us!

Real rejects? What is that all about? As somenone said earlier, who has he got in mind? Not Rooney, cos there aren’t enough grannies to go round? Who then? The man is clueless, and as I said yesterday he is totally negative where Arsenal are concerned.

Allegedly Wenger tried to buy Ozil before he went to RM but we wouldn’t pay him enough or pay enough for him. Story of our club recently! But would we take him now? Bloody right we would! A reject, not. Same for most of the rest of their squad. Rejects phooey!
Sadly it is Tone who is the reject!

  49. allezkev says:

It’s a great shame that Wenger has, seemingly, never offered a coaching role at the club…

    Another missed opportunity.

  50. tsgh says:

WATH… TA can be charming… he visited one of my regiments once 7 years ago… he could have been a world great if AW had been an influential figure in his life earlier…

Saying that I love me a Keown… I truly love him. He was very underrated as was F. Baresi of AC playing next to Maldini…

Hi Ktr7, I rate Pipita too as a footballer. But come October, Adam, Rico, Lee and a few will be complaining about him staying in offside positions. Personally, the thought of Higuain, TW14, Poldi or SC19 feel me with mixed emotions… creativity -wise it could be one of the best in Europe, however imho, those 4 players in the same line-up will put a lot of stress on the remaining 6 players in the squad defensively…

  51. Wavy says:

To his credit big Tone re-signed for us when Manure came a-calling. He was a one club man, all his playing life a very loyal and passionate one, at that! Real credit to the man. But post playing days he has achieved very little. He has tried and failed with the running side of the game. No credentials no job!

  52. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, had the pleasure of meeting TA a few years back through a mutual friend and he truly loves the Arsenal, most of what he said that day was 100% spot on. He maybe says to much in the public domain that the media then tear to pieces.
Keown also another proper Arsenal man and loves the club deeply as he is a fan and always was growing up, he is just a little volatile to be in coaching lol…!

  53. tsgh says:

WATH, what people don’t realise is that Sammer, Effenburg and the likes consulted AW in 2008 allegedly on how to make FC Bavaria great…

If you watch our model ie AW’s brain child and the Bavarians its almost the same in terms of recruitment… for every Ribery they buy they buy a Gerv or Dante,Alaba ie a gamble… the major difference is that Munchen buy Germans 50% of the time due to talent in the country whilst it will be financially irresponsible for us to buy 50% English players due to the extortionate and over inflated home market…

  54. W.A.T.H says:

Wavy, as we said yesterday mate great players do not necessarily make great coaches or managers he seems a prime example yet obviously has a love for the game that he wants to give something back. Maybe he needs little perspective and take a step back look at what he can offer and maybe coach the youth teams..! As Ts says maybe a shame AW didn’t have more influence on him at an earlier stage but such is life eh…!

  55. ktr7 says:

Ts i know what you are on about and thats why i’ve maintained from the start our current system must be tweaked to accomodate a no.9.its intriguing if he does come to see how we plan on using him since in our formation our lone forward has been a false 9 helping out the midfield more.

I also know about his offside issues and sometimes he misses easy chances but outside the likes of lewandowski/ibra/falcao/rvp/cavani there aren’t many better options who we can get.

  56. tsgh says:

Wavy, re Ozil, that is true… Bremen Chairman (Allofs) even confirmed it on Bild… Ozil chose RM because at that time the tax burden in Spain was 20% less than ours. I heard we offered close to 70k but we had tp pay him 90k a week to match RM’s offer…

He is a bit of a party boy though… that is the only worry

  57. W.A.T.H says:

You missed out Torres KT….. I’d have him without hesitation…! I just don’t reckon chavs/moreenyo would ever sell to us..!

  58. tsgh says:

I still maintain Benteke was worth a try…. considering his attributes. He is the closest to Lewandowski or Yilmaz in football…. he is mobile, strong, can lead the line perfectly and has a shot on him…

  59. tsgh says:

Torres looks like he has gained his confidence back…

Then again I rate the Tahiti team highly… lol

  60. W.A.T.H says:

Yep i like Benteke also like Yilmaz although Benteke now has one up on Yilmaz as he has a years experience in the Premier League..! Worth a punt at 20mil…?

  61. tsgh says:

That is exactly my point WATH…. the question is will Rednose have signed Gonzales if he was still managing properly not remotely?

AW hates obvious choices and this is coming from one of his biggest supporters…

My logic is that by the time a new import settles into the current system or the team changes to suit a new buy… someone like Benteke will be up running and causing problems to defenders and heliping with set-piece defending in our half… 😉

  62. W.A.T.H says:

Seems they have found some money in the last 12 months Bob and decided they now want to buy a decent striker..! Barcelona did buy Song as well don’t forget so works both ways..!

  63. W.A.T.H says:

I’m on your side there Ts, I think Benteke would def be worth a punt alongside Higuain…? if we don’t get Rooney then get Benteke…? Gives us many options up front then..!

  64. Adam says:

When I was serving in the Calcutta Light Horse Brigade Tony Adams gave us a motivating lecture on piano playing. It was enlightening.

  65. tsgh says:

Juves’ system or thinking was similar to AW’s 2 or 3 years ago where, the value of a deadly clinical striker was not required until, I guess this CL when they realised a prolific striker makes the difference in the 80th minute in tight games.

Look at Mandzukic of FC Bayern, how many fans will want him? But because the likes of Muller, Robben, Ribery break beyond him into attack it works… plus a solid defence which we now have. All players defend from the front… even Robben the ugly diver defends whilst we have too many luxury players in our team and are linked to the same type of players in the name of quality…

One reason Mauren rated Di Maria at RM

  66. Adam says:

Wath. I reached the rank of Brigadier General before the scandal happened and I was asked to resign. The details are too painful for me to entertain at the moment and might sully my already appalling reputation on here still further.

  67. W.A.T.H says:

Do you really think your reputation could drop any lower Adam 😉

Seems Djourou’s name is now cropping up as being wanted in Germany…? would be another move beneficial to both parties…!

  68. W.A.T.H says:

Maybe we should try repair the damage Adam, no more mentioning those red spandex’s to start with nor of the Squillsters tat on your left breast..!

  69. W.A.T.H says:

Far to young for the fee being mentioned Scott, plenty better for that price i reckon and plenty with as much potential for less…!

  70. Adam says:

Wath. I did join the French Foreign Legion ” to forget” but then I met Rocky, Lee and Kev who dragged it all back up again. The red spandex strides are an affectation and part of who I am. 🙂

  71. W.A.T.H says:

They are such a spiteful bunch Adam, those three NOT the foreign legion..! Can those strides not be “coloured” a little so they are not so lavish shall we say..?

  72. W.A.T.H says:

I reckon it’s a ploy by his agent to throw in the names of a few clubs that are “interested” in him so Schalke give him a new improved contract..! Seems to be the ways things work lately.

  73. W.A.T.H says:

Waiting for all these medicals and signings is tedious…………! It’s enough to drive a man to drink………. Bloody good idea..!

  74. Lee says:

I’ve taken up crocheting, I find it extremely theraputic! That and crystal meth…..winning combo!!!

  75. Adam says:

Caesar’s Palace and the Bellagio Lee. I was dressed as a surgeon at the time. I have been rubbed by brasses too.

  76. W.A.T.H says:

thruNthru………. I would love it if Arsenal signed another TA… around about 24yrs old would be perfect…!

  77. stevepalmer1 says:

Afternoon all, Nice one Wath, can’t beat a GG fuelled post.
Apparently Mr Adams felt he had friends in the boardroom, nod nod wink wink. Expect to hear a lot from Mr Adams but i expect it won’t be good. He keeps this up and his statue could end up a mess. Legends can fcuk themselves quite easily.

  78. W.A.T.H says:

Afternoon SP, yep agreed but then again did he actually say anything remotely close to whats been printed..?

  79. stevepalmer1 says:

Never heard him say a positive sentance about Arsenal since he left Wath but i may have read his words wrong

  80. W.A.T.H says:

As i said a little earlier was fortunate enough to spend a bit of time with him a few years back with a mutual friend and the bloke is Arsenal through n through and has plenty to say both good and not so good but the not so good was not said nastily at all and was very constructive, said in the wrong company can imagine very very easy to twist the words..!

  81. stevepalmer1 says:

Will take that into consideration next time he speaks and gets printed. He just looks all wrong to me that’s all.

  82. W.A.T.H says:

I think he speaks from the heart SP, he may be says more than he should without thinking of how the words can be twisted and that’s where he comes across all wrong sometimes but I think it’s not said in a bad way.

  83. Lee says:

The thing that winds me up about him is that he tries to be all cerebral and if the truth be known he’s not that sharp! Just saying…

  84. stevepalmer1 says:

To be quite honest Wath, Adams strikes me as if he is looking for a job. Management jobs have not been thick on the ground for him and i have not heard it mentioned that he was looking for coaching jobs. But when someone asks to be considered for a chairmans job i wonder if the guy is sound of mind.

  85. W.A.T.H says:

Adams is currently looking at taking a job as a coach in the tropical Uzbekistan or somewhere exotic like that..!

  86. W.A.T.H says:

Where was it he decided to visit people and made the entrance through the front lounge window… was that the Rainham incident Lee..?

  87. stevepalmer1 says:

I read what he said in the Sunday papers whether they changed his words or not, its easily to make amends by an arsenal news letter. To say things like that may be how he see’s it but not what fans want to read from an Arsenal legend. If you have nothing positive to say keep stum.

  88. W.A.T.H says:

SP, Hardly think the club would put up with him saying such things if they thought it was true…!?!? He is often there..!

  89. potter says:

T.A strikes me as a frustrated person both with himself and the Arsenal. He knows things could be better and I think he feels that the club have lost sight of their direction on the pitch . As for the boardroom I reckon he feels that the club needs a football voice in there as opposed to the financial ones that rule the roost.

  90. W.A.T.H says:

I think even the board know they need new blood Potter, I think they also know they need people who have football in their veins as well, it’s a fine line between the business side being top heavy yet having people on the board who also understand the business requirements of the club.

  91. Joaquim Moreira says:

    Afternoon all!
Have we any player in England squad in under 20 ?
    Villa close signs for Toots

  92. W.A.T.H says:

Not sure about the England under 20’s JM, maybe Chuba Akpom…? not sure though to be honest.

  93. W.A.T.H says:

SP, funny how TA is now on the Arsenal website chatting about the centre back duo…!

If it’s in the papers mate take it with a pinch of salt unless you heard the words yourself..!

  94. W.A.T.H says:

Quite an appetizing little glimpse of the class there Lee, the nice thing is he very 2 footed as well and a lot of those goals also pure instinct…! Also not easily pushed off the ball, He’ll do me for starters….!

  95. W.A.T.H says:

Not seem Bruma JM….! If I am honest watch very little Portuguese football, thats why we ask you for your views 🙂

  96. tsgh says:

Oh dear… Balague is saying Juve and us are battling it out for Higuain. RM want to get as much as possible for Pipita in order to finance a move for Cavani….

If true, should we really be paying whatever it takes for Higuain to please the long suffering masses…

  97. Micko says:

tsgh 10.05, I’m with the ‘Arsene Used To Know Best’ Brigade.

Wath, maybe Higuain is getting the ferry over, that might explain the delay !

  98. W.A.T.H says:

Juve don’t have money to burn Ts and we can offer cash up front I still say the deal will be around the 20mil mark not the 25 that Madrid seem to want.

You could be right Micko, weather in the channel is great this time of the year he must be sunning himself on the yacht..!

  99. tsgh says:

Juve are skint… but the Old lady’s fans will not tolerate another Bendtner-like signing this summer… we will see with that one.

It will be a major show of intent to out bid a major European force for once instead of just walking away like clowns…

The purported full fee upfront could be crucial, unless the French/Argentine prefers Turin to North London

  100. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, as you say can’t see Juve being able to compete with us fee wise and by all accounts he wants to join us not Juve, we’ll see won’t we. Juve can bid for Villa that’s more their price range..!

  101. SD_UK says:

    To answer why Chelsea and Man City do not seem to be interested in Higuain;

    1. I only hope they are not trying to steal the deal come July 1st when the window opens, they have done it before, they are going to try and do it again, but,

    2. Higuain might hate Jose Morinho because he benched him a lot and used Benzema instead, so they might not like each other.

    3. Mancity maybe can’t really buy any big money players because of Financial fairplay rules.

$. Man United is really broke and may not be even able to afford Rooney 🙂

    Just saying

  102. tsgh says:

Balague and Malaga gooner share transfer sources…

I see MG is back on the rumour site doing what he does best…

  103. agirlagunner says:

Boo!! Good one, WATH. All that GG is doing you wonders. 😉 I like mine with guava juice. 🙂

Hi, Ginge. Juve should go out and buy more Bendtner-types; within their price range, I think. 😀

    Hiya, JM. Howdy?

  104. tsgh says:

Hi Mrs Agag… how are you?

I settled on a mid-price Michael Kors bad for Mrs Ginge… and a gold bracelet…

I am trying to get my insurance sorted when the world banking system crashes… 😉

I listen to too much David Icke me think 🙂
Higuain snr mentioned a few weeks ago that his son would suit Serie A style more than the hassle of the EPL… that is worrying imo..

  105. W.A.T.H says:

Guava juice has to many pips in AGAG, ruins the GG…!
I also think Chavs n Citeh with new managers want to be seen to be buying the very very best world stars…! good let then over pay on Cavani etc etc..! Makes me laugh they both been blown out the water by Monaco on the Falcao deal.

  106. W.A.T.H says:

Ts, only a week or so ago Hi Jnr said Arsenal would suit him so it all depends what paper decides to publish what quote they think they heard pass someones lips…! Even air has a rumour…!

  107. agirlagunner says:

Niiiice, Ginge. 🙂 What color is the bag? I hope the bracelet has charms, they are so cheery looking.

Strain before you pour, WATH. 😉 Tsk.

Ginge, I didn’t know Higuain, Sr. said that. Ick. I hope they don’t nick the deal. Falcao only went for money. It’s pathetic, really.

  108. agirlagunner says:

I find Balague distasteful. He was part of that whole Cesc fiasco.

Apart from the goal, did he play well, JM?

  109. Joaquim Moreira says:

Final scored: France 1 USA 1
He is not bad. He is a little “green” but he can grows up.
    Is a interesting player

  110. agirlagunner says:

You learn something new everyday, WATH. 😀

That’s good to hear, JM. I hope Sanogo isn;t another crock. Fingers crossed. 🙂

Good night, all. Work work work tomorrow. 🙁

  111. Micko says:

Leech, that’s the word your looking for agag.

tsgh, get down on it, that was pretty ‘Kool’

  112. W.A.T.H says:

Seems the Telegraph is saying Higuain is a done deal agreed to by player and club but waiting to be signed off by new manager Ancelloti…!

  113. tsgh says:

Scott, I am waiting for the signings… Vietnamese or Tahitian preferred… all the coconuts drinks we will be endorsing…

    Morning all…

Can Arsenal fans sue the board for emotional fraud…?

  114. allezkev says:

    Morning Gooners…

    Today, I will mostly be reading a Hi-Fi magazine…

To take my mind off of Chelsea/ManCity/ManUre buying up quality reinforcements, whilst Arsenal sit on their collective hands….

    Just another Arsenal transfer window…

  115. tsgh says:

hiya, I can only try WATH… , people sitting on deathrow must have more fun than waiting for Dickie Law the multi-lingual to finalise a deal…

hello Ak. Flight plan magazine will be nice…
