Morning all,
There is a plenty of player gossip doing the rounds which I’ll skip but this particular story caught my eye and it’s from another Arsenal Blog called LadyArse. The article relates to Joachim Low and how he’s possibly being lined up to replace Arsene Wenger. It’s worth a read and you can do so here.
Today’s Post.
When you have had a career as a weak and ineffectual little man like Mike Riley, it must come as a tremendous shock to find yourself in a position of power within the game you bought into disrepute for so many years. Who can forget Riley’s simpering willingness to do Ferguson’s bidding when a much more skilful Arsenal used to make the trip north to play Manchester United?
When Ferguson looked at those Arsenal teams he knew that, if he tried to match them skill-wise, man for man or purely in the footballing department he would have lost every time.
So, being a bully of epic proportions, he turned to intimidation and in that endeavour found a willing accomplice in Riley, a man with the backbone of a Jellyfish. But Ferguson, like many bullies, is endlessly cunning and the method of his intimidation was to single a player in the opposition’s team that he thought could be targeted and get his players to relentlessly foul and kick him.
In doing so Ferguson introduced the concept of rotational fouling, a practice so crude that people like Allardyce, Pulis and Sergeant Major Moyes looked on in sycophantic admiration and in their rather basic minds realised that this was the way to put one over on the Frenchman Wenger and his team of prancing fancy Dans.
After all, wasn’t this the very man who had come from “Japan” as Ferguson so famously vomited out when Wenger had the temerity to question his right to win every trophy? Oh yes, you have to “Get in their faces”. This was a phrase that fitted Allardyce’s rather limited view of football perfectly as it most likely suited his idea of the great North/South divide to a tee.
I can imagine him boring people to death over a herring or three with great tales of how “Arsene Wenger’s teams? They don’t like it oop ’em”. Oh what a wag and footballing guru he must have seemed in the working men’s clubs as he clapped his flippers together.
But back to the Ferguson master plan and it’s fiendish implementation.
He had the players. Poacher turned gamekeeper and all-round good guy Gary Neville and his ghastly brother Phil were ably supported by Paul Scholes, a brutalitarian of the first order and a spiteful little ginger man if ever there was one. I can imagine that the stick he must have taken at school left him with mental scars so deep he decided he would transfer them in a more physical way to his opponents in some warped sense of revenge. So, Fergie had the ammo, all he needed was a referee prepared to look the other way while his morally repugnant plan was put into action.
Now, let me see, who could that be? I should rather ask, who else could it be but the cowering Riley?
One withering look from Fergie prowling the touchline and Mike would visibly shrink, almost turning to stone as if caught in the Gorgon’s stare. His face would become pure white, his wispy hair would retract into his skull and he would glow red. A small trickle of urine might even slide down his inner thigh at the thought of Ferguson kicking the door of his refuge off his hinges before delivering a tirade of crimson-faced abuse amid a shower of flying spittle at half time.
Thus was born the victimisation and physical destruction of Jose Antonio Reyes, a player Ferguson had clearly earmarked as an easy target. It was a sorry day for football, one of the blackest and Riley was even more to blame than the boot swinging Neanderthals that were hired to do the dirty work. Hacking and pulling, scraping and butting all happened under Riley’s nose. The nation looked on in horror as here was the message, delivered straight at the end of a size ten boot for all to see. It was a turning point really as the Sky audience began to understand that Riley really was going to do nothing about the catalogue of physical assaults that were being perpetrated live on TV. Manchester United at Old Trafford had become all but untouchable.
Having decided to retire, Riley passed the mantle to Howard Webb and must have thought that he would be held in such low esteem, his career such an abject example of weakness, that he would be allowed to retire somewhere never to be seen again. Even Ashley Cole, that beacon of humanitarianism, had humiliated him in front of millions by treating him with the contempt he so richly deserved. But no! Shock and horror, we were not to be rid of Riley at all – in fact he would be responsible for allocating referees to games.
Seriously? Mike Riley?
Oh yes, it was all true and Manchester United were to be the beneficiaries once again as everyone scratched their heads in wonder as decision after decision decided game after game in their favour. Those referees who blotted their copy books were seldom seen at Old Trafford while others who kept their cards in their pockets except to send off players while awarding 93rd minute penalties seemed to appear with troubling regularity.
So, when Arsenal play an Everton team hyped up and wound tighter than Carol Vorderman’s dress by Moyes, who does Riley send? A weak referee obviously. A man who will not send players off when he should or even punish the blatant sub-plot rotational fouling of Wilshere. A man who sees nothing when Fellaini embarks on a 10 minute spree of violence or Pienaar, finally booked after many fouls, deliberately handles the ball and continues on his merry way unchecked to commit more.
After the game, when Wenger points out the poor standards and a microphone is pointed at Moyes’ face what do we get? Ah, it’s the old tough Northerners schtick again. Thus, the legacy of Ferguson’s early tactics against Wenger’s teams is perpetuated through one of his disciples and who is lurking in the background wobbling like a jelly?
Why, it’s none other than Mike Riley.
The World turns and football comes full circle.
Some things never seem to change.

Morning all…
Very good Adam, I enjoyed reading that.
Can’t believe you are suggesting that Riley has it in for us…. 😉
Morning all, this low character has been named before. I don’t see Wenger going anywhere soon so more hyped up press. Wouldn’t surprise me if he signs his extension early after season ends actually
Good Morning Lady and Gentlemen.
Nice one Adam.
But what can we change or do about it.
On another note friends……………how much do you think Suarez will get for his pathetic behaviour?
I am not going to condone it but I would not give it more than Shawcross got for breaking Aaron’s leg. 3 matches. After all which is worse? My answer will be the latter situation.
didn’t Defoe do something similar? Not sure if it was him or not – I think on a second offence he’ll get 6 games… .we’ll see
I thought I was the only one who hated Mike Riley and Dean…you know what to expect when you see the whistle between their lips…
Its amazing how many dodgy penalties and dodgy decisions go Man Utd’s way when these 2 are involved…especially if its against arsenal…
Morning Oz & Devil…
I still think AW might walk away if we don’t get top 4 Oz …..
Nothing Devil – annoyingly. No doubt some other fuddy duddy will jump out of Fergies pocket when Riley retires for good but then Fergie will be also retired by then..
Maybe fairness will come back into the game then…
It’s all in the intent. No-one can prove Shawcross intended to break Ramsey’s leg..
But it’s quite clear Suarez intended to bite the Chelsea player..
I think he has played his last game in the PL…..
Welcome to HH craszygunner
Trust me, everyone on here shares your dislike for them both….
Good post. Was thinking along those lines myself, one day last week. Manure always ran around like headless chickens on a kamakaze mission for the first 20/25 minutes kicking any Arsenal player they could get close enough to! Nothing changes. Next game we will see the same from manure.
They are not a skilful side, I haven’t got any of their midfield players in any of my fantasy football teams, why not? They simply aren’t good enough! But they are effective as assault troops!
I wonder who will trundle out to ref our game? As Adam suggested it will be one of the more spineless jellyfish that rednose can bully!
Just as an aside but quite pertinent, I think; when Carrol wiped out de Gea, he did so because he was assaulted (pushed) in mid jump, by Vidic, as probably instructed by old red face, so the cast of evil villain hangs round the neck of Carrol whilst the real villain of the piece escapes scott free! And the bully tried very hard to get Carrol sent off, retrospectively. He is the ultimate arsehole, but not so useful!
Fergy (short name for an old tractor) is a past master at the manipulation of the truth and also the cunning protection of his players, even when they are guilty.
I suspect if we had been conquered by the nazis he would have become a quizzling and then won promotion – to the ss! I’ll leave it your imaginations where he would have ended in the hierarchy of that organisation! He would have been in control, that is for certain.
Personally I shall be really pleased to see the back of him. I do not, nor ever have thought that his contribution to the world of sport has offered anything worthy. He was brought up in a seedy, violent area of Glasgow and whilst you can take the man out of Govan you cannot take Govan out of the man! And nobody has yet.
Will no one save us from this man and his hoards?
Morning all, happy Monday!
Morning Wavy, feel better after that? 😉
A bit, but not a lot!
The only thing that will cheer me up is, if nice Mr Wenger’s team beat the villain Ferguson’s team, fairly and squarely without having to resort to underhand or illegal tactics and that includes, not biting any of the opponents or head butting the referee (Suarez apparently performed that act of violence too, as a 15 year old!) over the top tackles, tripping, shirt pulling etc etc.
All with the help of a genuinely impartial and fair minded referee!
I would like it if Lowe got the job. I like him as a coach.
How are you Rico?
😆 Wavy..
Morning All
Great read adam,
In a way it sums up the last 8 years really for me,
wenger has continued to bring players in without,
any nuts.
He used to go on about, the captains we had in the side,
he never mentioned leaders.
Fergie played 7 defenders against us in one game,
his intentions for a home game, were crystal clear,
yet what did we do,
plan A again, right into the trap.
I keep looking back over the last 16 years.
and thinking,
Was it wenger who new how to play against, these teams,
or was it the players we had at the time,
who new how to play against these teams.
If we play like we did on Saturday, we have no chance against the Mancs.
Unless they are all hung over from celebrations after tonight …
I’m good thanks devil, are you?
Morning Fred.
I see AW has spoken out about how TV is a big part of the club etc etc… That’s him off in the summer then 😉
I took it that way too. TV is off this summer.
So maybe its Williams plus another right back in this summer. Hope its Lowton or Corchia. I prefer Lowton because he is English.
Morning Gooners.
Morning Rico.
Great post Adam, especially the bit about Carol V…
Sky, ManUre, Ferguson, The FA, The Epl, Referees, they’re like an ‘Old Boys’ club, all with one aim, that is to ensure the domination of the Salford Reds…
When Dein was at The FA, we had a fighting chance.
But thanks to the self-harming policies of our Board, we lost that influence…
And have suffered the consequences ever since…
Rico – i don’t think there is a chance in hell of Wenger going anywhere to be honest – there is not an easier job in football and maybe life than he has, for the money he gets – he’ll sign again i am sure of it
I think Wenger wants more English players too devil…
Morning Ak and don’t the Mancs now have an ex employee at the FA now?
Do managers resign.
Good Morning to the Lady of the House and all fellow Gooners in residence.
Devil – Re: “But what can we change or do about it.” Not a lot as referees are a lot like the police. If you point a finger at any one of them, accuse one of bias or accuse one of incompetence; they all close ranks and defend the indefensible. It will take one or more incidents of patently bas/incompetence to start a cleanup. Maybe if they find evidence of payments to referee(s) like in Italy, but don’t hold your breath or you’ll expire long before you were meant to.
good question fred – this one won’t i tell ya that ha!
I don’t think he’ll ever be sacked Oz, but not finishing in the top four may just make him think twice about signing a contract..
I’m just guessing of course…
Hiya Kev.
you are right………….since we lost DD we have lost all the influence we had at the EPL board. at ;least we had a fighting chance.
Rico – have we not already had the “we can survive without the ECL statements in close seasons gone by though?
frednerk – Yes! Managers resign just before they are about to be fired. This usually enables them to negotiate a termination package of a monetary settlement and a mutual no-excrement-slinging agrreement that minimizes the damage to the mangera career and his pointing fingers and airing the clubs dirty laundry in public. They part as ‘friends’ with a few well chosen platitudes like “we would like to thank (insert name) for his service to the club and wish him well in his future endevours” in their public statemnets. Much like those on Arsenal.com with regards to players who have engineered their own exits.
Sorry about the poor spelling, my fingers are not a quick as my brain this morning.
i suffer from that no matter what time of day it is CG 🙂
The merrygo round of managers, always makes me laugh,
sacked from one job,in another the next day.
Reminds me of supermarket food(sack by date)
Excellent post Adam. Trouble is all prem refs are from the northern half of the country except Lee Probert. Therefore, they are all indoctrinated into this bastardised version of Rugby league which they laughingly refer to as ‘proper football’in which physical intimidation of more skilful opponents is seen as some sort of personification of manliness. Its only the likes of Wenger, Martinez and Benitez who have the guts to stand up to it. Will it be Webb or Dean this Sunday?
🙂 Oz, we have….
I quite enjoyed that, Adam. 🙂 Manure are allowed to get away with too much. One has to wonder why they are so afraid of Red Nose, why fifty-fifty calls almost always go their way, why they are awarded one dodgy penalty after another…
I find it laughable when Evra complains that they are not given enough credit. That they are eternally favored by the refs has a lot to do with it. They have not been consistent this year so much as consistently favored by the refs, imho.
Morning Cg
fred – i know and you know what, its the same the world over – same old faces just different clubs – very few new ‘up and comers’ around is there? New ideas, new theories, just same old same old so much of the time – even if you are an out and out failure, you still seem to walk straight back in the back door of someone else
Good Morning Sister AGAG. How are things in your tropical paradise?
fred – not ours though 😉
Hello, CG! How are you? I haven’t been able to chat with you in a while. It’s sweltering here. 😕 I haven’t been on hols yet. 🙁
Hiya, rico, oz, bob, and fred!
Wonder what tony fernandes(Qpr) is thinking,
hiya agag
Hi agag, I know a few words to describe Evra 😉
“who the f**k is this guy and they wanted him for England”? sound about right fred? 🙂
How much he can get for his players I reckon fred 😉
lots of talk about the guard of honour stuff – i assume Gaz, Stan and Wenger will be made to line up as well?
Got to nip off and get a few things done
Later folks.
it will be like the Sunday markets Rico – i think only one or two have the relegation clause as well so lots of in fighting coming down that way eh?
Sister AGAG – I’m sure your sweltering weather is more preferrable to you than the recent winter here. While the temperatures were close to average it has been one of the darkest on record. The lowest number of hours of sunshine on record with many dreary cloudy days. I can take the rain and cold weather if we get the odd cold crisp sunny day.
Evening all.
Great post Adam, thoroughly enjoyable read.
Scholes…..pitiful, evil little prick he is..
Fergie is equally despicable.
Riley, Dean, Webb…….incompetent, corrupt or both??
I wonder what would happen if we didn’t give the guard of honor. I imagine it’s not mandated; why should we have to?
On the other hand, I am petty and churlish enough to want to hear v. Purse strings booed! 😀
CG, I spent Christmas in NYC and wanted my Philippine sunshine after two days tops. Haha. I finally understood why people fall into depression in colder climes. 😉
How on earth did the Spuds beat Man shitty?
I Just hope Man Utd beat Aston Villa today so they don’t win the league on our soil.
I vote against giving the Manure Utd a role of honour if they are to be presented with the cup at Emirates.
Wenger might want to be the gentleman and ask the players to to the role of honour but I am sure the players if given the choice will opt out.
But I suggest that the fans should leave the stadium if Manure utd are to be presented with the trophy at the Emirates. Not a single fan should stay not one.
YES I AM BITTER AT MANURE POSSIBLY WINNING OR GIVEN THE CUP AT EMIRATES.
Rico/Oz
In a way it may effect us as regards players.
Afternoon all. Many thanks Scott. Hi Agag, Oz, Fred, CG and of course, Rico.
I see Liverpool are taking the high moral ground and sweeping the Suarez cannibalistic incident under the carpet.
rico, If I were to make a Hated 11, it would be Evra three times, Terry, Cashley, Pique, Puyol, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Pursey.
SD, hahaha. but who would boo Pursey??
Pure class Adam… Nice post.
Is that your thesis to become a member of the’old boys club’ 😛
Lowe is a sound choice… But Rijkaard for me all day…
Sister AGAG – I’m not a great fan of booing as it is usually counter-productive. However, in the case of Judas van Pursestrings, I can understand the urge. I think it would be far more effective if there was dead silence when he is announced, although it would be next to impossible to maintain that level of discipline throughout the Emirates.
SD – It would be impossible to empty the stadium in time, but it would be very easy for those in the stadium to stand and turn their backs to the ceremony on field.
Hiya, Adam. Another great write. 🙂 🙂 Liverpoop cannot afford to lose him is why. he is the sole reason they are not languishing at the bottom of the table. 😕
Could Suarez eat an apple through a letterbox? That is the question.
CG, the only booing I don’t believe in is booing our own. Everybody else is fair game. And Robin Iscariot fully deserves it!!
Adam – It will be interesting to see what punishment is meted out to Suarez. I fear he wont get what he deserves, but he has too get more than three games. What is even more despicable though is Liverfool FC rallying behind him once again. There is no excuse for such savage and unsportsman like behaviour. It only shows what a precarious position they would be in without him.
Arsenal Football Club have lodged an appeal to the Football Association for the wrongful dismissal of Olivier Giroud during the Premier League match against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
CG. I was just talking to a good friend about this very thing. Liverpool were a successful club many years ago. But people like Souness who I listened to on Sky yesterday seem to think that we all have this view that they are somehow a National Treasure and iconic institution that we all hold dear to our hearts. Liverpool fans- yes of course, but the rest of us? No. They are a club that were very successful once, but not now. These days they are a rather needy institution and serve as a warning against the perils of bad ownership and crazy spending. This is particularly relevant for Gooners, given that we have a lousy owner.
The Suarez incident was shocking but Liverpool won’t get rid of him. In fact it masked the fact that they should have been down to 8 men yesterday as both Sturridge’s over the top tackle and whatever that Shelvey person is, he should also have gone for the 2 footer. Both tackles were far worse than our own Le Quiff who was just being his customary clumsy self.
We have appealed Giroud’s red card…
Wait for an extra game or two ban…. 🙄
Afternoon….
Oops, sorry Esp 😉
Adam – That sums up Liverfool.
Well dawn isn’t far off and I need some sleep. So, I’ll bid you all adieu. Until the next time and keep the faith.
How rude of me – Afternoon Adam, Ts and all 🙂
Hi Rico.
Night Cg….
Afternoon Rico, Adam and all…
Coach, sorry I just missed you habib….
I might as well have stayed on here as it’s been rubbish in town today…
Pass the hat around Adam… 😉
Afternoon Ak, you excited at the thought of Giroud winning his appeal 😉
Kev. 🙂
Do you know, if Giroud wins his appeal it will probably be the only thing AFC will win this season! Marvellous!
Le Quiff Trophy, with tats on the handles!
Not sure about rhat Rico…?
Maybe a Giroudless attack could answer a few questions about that dept of the squad?!
I’d actually be happy to see the club invest the whole £70m they have to spend, on goalscorers…
Not sure that Podolski or Walcott or Gervinho up top of our attack, is gonna bring Vidic, Ferdinand and co, out in cold sweat tbh…
😆 Wavy…
Ak, think we all know the answer already…
Africa’s finest will step in I suspect
On that not, popping off to walk Fido
Still amazes me a top four side and we’re carrying one single central striker in the squad – how do these things happen
Wavy 🙂 you may be right Sir but will it change anything?
Oz. A heady mixture of arrogance and incompetence will do it every time.
Adam – Great post. You deserve a medal 😉
Looks like we’ve got one of Fergies rental boys on sunday
https://twitter.com/premierleague/status/326349672111292416
yeah i hear ya Adam
well off to me bed see you all tomorrow guys
Evening all…..
We signed anyone? 😉
Anyone remember the ‘Good Old Days’, when referees hardly merited a mention…
Now we are in dread, every time one of Riley’s, SAF bum-boys, are named as the next stitch-up merchant…
Sunday has all the ingredients of another hand-wringing afternoon as that Scottish wanker cavorts across our pitch at the final whistle.
Night Oz
Language kev, afternoon all.
Spot on Ak… And yes, less of the word Scottish 😉
Afternoon Emma and Micko..
Hi rico, the Invincibles never got bullied, ok admittedly it was a hundred years ago now, but beautiful football and pure brute force often ensured we won the day, loved a battle unlike these surrender monkeys we have at the moment, maybe i’m being a tad harsh, we have won the last 8 out of 9, the stuff of champions !!!
You are testing my memory there Micko, Invincibles…..
Now what year was that???
Emma. Thank you.

The Emirates is the best stadium in UK right now , I think the stadium can be emptied in 3 minutes because it has the highest number of exits in any stadium in UK.
So yes if our fans starts packing up before the final whistle they will be at the tube station by the time they start the nonsense guard of honor which Chelsea started i think (no pride Chelsea).
Guard of honour is not official.
YES YES I AM STILL BITTER
Rico, I’ve got a good memory but it’s short, I’ll have to get back to you on that one.
Very nearly a disasterous day for us yesterday but Suarez saved the day, if I was Ivanovic I’d be going for a blood test if he hasn’t already, deserves another 7 game ban.
Hi SD
What’s all this guard of honour stuff??
😆 Micko – I reckon Goofy will get 9 matches ban…
I can’t believe Ivanovic didn’t go to the police.
Sorry Mick, how thoughtless of me.
I forgot how sensitive you are…
You over for the ManUre game, or maybe even Wigan?
Just watched the Man Shitty and Spuds highlights , man is Vincent Kompany over rated ?
Oh Mancini should be sacked by the way.
Imagine Wenger coaching the team he has right now, Fergie would have retired like 3 years ago.
Good night, friends! Hi, Micko and bye Micko. 😛 Kev, update me about your new shirts tomorrow. 😉
Have a lovely dinner, rico. 🙂
There are worse than Dowd, but I’ll wager we don’t finish with 11 on the pitch!
When I heard Shearer tell the world on sat night that we wouldn’t finish in the top 4, I said to myself, ‘is the fix in’. Then, guess what, the unthinkable happens, spuds win against citeh. Well there’s a turn up!
I’m not a great believer in conspiracies but……..it makes you wonder!
What are the. Odds on the spuds winning all their remaining games? If I were a betting man I just might have a punt!
Only surmising, you understand?
I will Agag, I will. 😉
This cuppa tastes delicious….
MAN SHitty,
The first and the 3rd scorer for Spuds just went past Clichy like a breeze and people wondered why we sold him.
Night agag – sleep well and no dreaming of handbags 😉
SD – people wondered why we sold Clichy? I thought most wondered why it took Wenger so long to sell him 😉
Wavy – Shearer hates us, he’s just hoping. But I think he’s going to turn out right…
Kev, my last game was Newcastle, no more planned, you’ll have to do Wigan, make up for crying off just before Christmas eh.
Nite agag, chances are you’ll wake to pictures of rvp holding a great big trophy in the morning, might be worth having a lay in tomorrow.
Off to get dinner now…
I won’t be buying a newspaper Micko 🙁
It’s always the problem when you pay players the kind of money Man City are. Keeping them motivated is not easy and they play for the wage packet instead of the club or their personal pride. Even that has a price and City are prepared to buy that too. I thought Spurs would draw at least as those City players have nothing to play for except their place in the Cup Final. Oh and Mancini is a useless uninspirational figure too.
Give a millionaire footballer somewhere to hide and he will be in there, like a rat up a pipe. I even believe we have suffered from some of the same this season.
We need change and inspiration and ambition in equal measure.
This is a brilliant post, Adam. Shame all those years of brutality at Old Trafford were pretty well ignored by the media and TV pundits.
SD London 5:51 well said mate…
Evening all btw…
Cheers Martin. Arsenal are always news but seldom get favourable press it seems. After they carry Ferguson feet first from Old Toilet it will be interesting to see how their coverage changes.
Evening TS.
Hello again all….
Rico 6.13 I hope you are wrong but if the fix is in we have absolutely no chance.
Don’t think I shall be watching Thursday night football. It’s my drinking night! You have to get your priorities right!
Europa cup, I suppose we will qualify for that for the next 15 years! With and without Wenger. And then be told that a club in our position have done”very, very well” ( old Mr Grace in ‘ are you being served?) he even looked like PHW!
If anyone is stupid enough to watch manure on the tele, keep an eye on Westwood for Villa. I think he is very good and has England potential, if he’s English! Came from Crewe.
Rvp a knob
Wavy, lets just see how the end unfolds…
I have my own theory 😉
And no, I will not be watching Manure win the PL….
Van Persie hat trick, united win the premier league… Unbelievable
Evening all, Just sat down after a hard days graft and thought i’de log on and see the latest out of Highbury house and by Christ what a blinding Post . I read this post and memories came flooding back of one sided refereeing, As you said Adam some things never change. Giroud’s appeal will no doubt fall on deaf ears while Suarez will win player of the year. Second Biting offence has made the headlines, and the only outcome must be a lifetime ban but it won’t happen. Paul Scholls has been labelled one of the best midfielders in recent times and this is a man that has tackled like a mental patient. Rednose will be hailed as the games great manager when he dies, which i hope is soon . But as said, without referee’s and Fergie time and everything else he gets he is just a dodgy little half breed. I hope they bury him in Scotland somewhere dark and dingy to match his character. And we sell them Van Persie Fcuking hell.
One has been given to Evra Esp..
Joke though isn’t it, but hey ho, we got £22 million … Pffffff!!
Evening Sp.. Yes, we did sell that lot RvP, utter stupidity eh!
Forget Westwood. He can only play crab football! We have plenty of those already.
What a numpty I am, Evra is playing for the reserves I think 😉
RvP hat-trick it is…
Thanks Wenger, Thanks Kroenke!!!!
You couldn’t make it up ,I hope in the last two games United parade the Trophy around the Emirates and the Wigan parade the cup. It would be a sweet reminder to the board and management exactly what it’s all about.
One man United. and we can’t find a scorer.
That’s me done.
What a horrid horrid night!
Things really need to change as soon as this season ends!
It’s not nice is it…….
Night all…….
No Potter, you couldn’t!
Sp, that’s because we sold the only one we had…
Shameful – just shameful…
Gone now….
Nte Rico
was just offered tickets for the match against utd this wk,end… no thx was my reply, the guy told me i was the third person to refuse them 😉 i honestly hope/pray Arsenal get a result against utd tho i seriously doubt it. TBH what i would love is for the attendance to be seriously reduced to show the disgust of how we all feel towards the board… STICK UR GUARD OF HONOUR UP UR ARSENAL!!
It’s painful watching those Northern monkeys being spoon fed another EPL title by the ‘Powers that Be’, but i’d rather those arseholes were handed their tainted trophy tonight, than at our place next Sunday…
More good news, our U21’s lost 0-1 to the Scum tonight…
Night all… 🙁
The sadest joke that we thought rvp was a fool to join a club in decline.. and we thought it was a good business selling them lot a crooked player… well..
He’s done it again as a top scorer, but this time with the champions medal to go with it..
Thanks Arsene for sure.. You knew it would give them the championship after all.. Stupporn fool…..
judge me in may…. to be honest m8 i never thought he was a fool for joining utd i was just gutted at that the fact Arsenal could no longer compete and signing for utd was ramming that fact right down my throat, and i didn’t like it 🙁 i suppose the truth hurt a little to much
Kel I feel your pain mate… I was convinced that United and rvp would end in sour note..
I was giving seminars of how it was not going to work between them. hhhhhh
Defensive mechanism and all that I suppose.. Or just pure denial..
Adam – Looks like your masterclass post was written for this purpose. The sooner Fergie retires the better the fairness in English football. The irony of it all is the media won’t point out that all 3 goals were offside
https://twitter.com/Arsenal_Supremo/status/326435654424752129
Emma. I wish it hadn’t been so prophetic.
Actually, I hope that this Man U title sticks in Kroenke’s throat, but I doubt it. We gave them VP for money and they bought the title with it. Wenger, Gazidis and the rest of the under performing hierarchy at our club should be as sick to the stomach over that as most of us supporters are. If Wenger is going to serve up more of the same next season, best he goes now.
Emma, you like your stats, Ryan Giggs has now won more titles than Arsenal, I suppose that’s RVP’s fault as well, lol !!!
Spot on Adam, he had a fallout with the board re the direction of the club, they sold him for a nice ransom, didn’t replace him properly,he has his champions medal, we look like we’ve gone backwards, the board and Wenger deserve all the stick they get imho.
On that note good nite all.
Is everyone looking forward to the guard of honor Arsenal will no doubt give their northern masters this weekend….. yuck
hope every one brings eggs with them and pelts the fuck outta kronke, dickwood & co…. 🙂
Guard of honour? Didn’t we do that by selling him to them in August?
Morning Lee. Bang on mate. Wenger sells them VP and the club put the money in their pocket. He then says he knew that deal would win MU the PL and the ST holders, who are being strangled, look on with a curious fascination. A mix of knowing they are being shafted but unable to forsake the thing they love.
And they say we should be careful what we wish for?
Hi all,
Saw a Man U fan’s tweet, goes like this and is so true: “Whenever I have a bad day I just remember Man U sold Silvestre to Arsenal and they sold RVP to them”.
There’s the clear sign of ambition.
Another is that Nasri left, won a trophy, Fab left and won trophies, Song left and it looks like the league is in the bag and perhaps CL too and now RVP has his coverted trophy.
Hello
I didn’t watch watch last day goals with attention but weren’t all off-side?
There lies the difference, they sell us a washed up fish and we sell them a world class player that wins them the PL!
Good Morning Lady and Gentlemen.
I am sick as a parrot today. It was inevitable from day one who was going to win the league.. I am gutted.
But then again when you compare the teams how many players Manure have who are superior to our players? Bar RVP and Rooney (when he wants to play) we are not worse off then them.
Is it management or coaching or is it something else?
what a finish last night from RVP – truly truly world class
