Morning all.
Arsenal Holdings plc has announced its financial results for the year ended May 31, 2013:
- Group profit before tax was £6.7 million (2012 – £36.6 million)
- Profit on sale of player registrations amounted to £47.0 million (2012 – £65.5 million)
- One-off charges related to the impairment of certain player registrations and associated costs amounted to £10.0 million (2012 – £5.5 million)
- £58.7 million of investment in new players and extended contracts pushed amortisation charges up to £41.3 million (2012 – £36.8 million)
- Turnover from football increased to £242.8 million (2012 – £235.3 million) driven mainly by commercial activity including the Club’s extended partnership with Emirates
- Taking account of increased costs, principally wage costs, operating profits (before depreciation and player trading) from football decreased to £25.2 million (2012 – £32.3 million)
- Property revenue rose to £37.5 million (2012 – £7.7 million) inclusive of the sale of the market housing site at Queensland Road. However, the Queensland Road sale was essentially at break even in profit and loss terms. Overall operating profits from property increased to £4.4 million (2012 – £2.2 million)
- The Group has no short-term debt and continues to have a robust financial platform from cash reserves, excluding the balances designated as debt service reserves, of £119.7 million (2012 – £120.1 million)
Arsenal’s chairman, Sir Chips Keswick, said:
It is my job to ensure we steer further along the course we have set.
We must continue to grow commercially to provide the Club with the best opportunity to achieve success and we must do this in a way which remains true to our values and which ensures and protects the long-term sustainability of the Club.
We face a competitive landscape across the top of the Premier League and across Europe’s elite clubs which is tougher than ever. Despite fair play initiatives the financial competition for top players remains intense and transfer prices and player wages continue to move ever higher.
It is therefore positive that the strong financial platform we have created in recent years allows us to continue to be competitive at the highest level.
Ah, those good old words ‘competitive at the highest level’.
Didn’t we hear all that when we first moved to The Emirates? Yet it’s only just this last summer or two we have seen higher profile players being signed. We have seen one depart though in RvP and without his sale, and that of Alex Song, those credit figures would not be looking quite so rosy.
But, the finances are in order and a huge boost will come our way when the new kit deal is announced. We should therefore see more Carzola/Ozil kind of players being signed and we can finally say goodbye to the cheap hopefuls, or the old crocks who have been cast aside by other clubs.
Sir Chips also said:
I know the Özil signing has given everyone who loves Arsenal a big lift but it should not be forgotten that we already have a young and talented squad. It is also appropriate to reiterate that the money we generate across the business is always available to our manager, Arsène Wenger, and that he quite properly makes the decisions regarding how to invest those funds based on his extensive football knowledge, experience and judgement. With the Özil transfer I believe we have made a significant statement and when Arsène decides the time is right to invest again, Stan Kroenke, myself and the rest of the Board will be delighted to support him.
So there you have it from the horses mouth. It is Arsene Wenger who decides what to spend and when to spend it and there is always money available should he need it and the board/owner are right behind him spending money.
That spending has to continue in January as we are in desperate need of a striker and a very good one at that.
Not another hopeful….
One hopeful who has never been able to be as good as his own head thinks he is will be on display tomorrow night as Nicklas Bendtner is set to don an Arsenal shirt for the first time in a couple of years.
In his weekly email, Arsene Wenger confirmed he will ring the changes tomorrow for the Capital One Cup fixture:
We have a Capital One Cup game at West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday and I will rotate the team, of course.
Nicklas Bendtner has a chance to be involved but Jack Wilshere will not play. Normally I would have rested him on Sunday and I decided to take him off because he was a bit exhausted towards the end.
Reports this morning suggest that Theo Walcott is out for two weeks with a stomach strain so he definitely won’t feature tomorrow night.
I’ll leave any thoughts on who else will take part against WBA until Kev’s pre-match post tomorrow..
That’s enough from me for another day….
we’ve seen plenty of these conformations on Wenger holding the purse strings before Rico and there will still be plenty making excuses trying to deny it again ha! If one looks at the financials and our wage bill, we should expect nothing less than fourth either, so not sure about all these miracle worker claims? For a team with zero world class players, 150m is very large – I’d also question the low rate of actual corporate sponsorship money as well.
Morning Rico and Oz. Good post.
We have to hope that luck is with us injury wise until Christmas when Arsene really should go out and buy a top striker. That player plus a couple of contingencies should be known by now and illegal, behind the scenes tapping up, or should I say friendly talks with agents, should be well underway. Every other club does it, so why not us?
Haven’t we just Oz, still fans choose to believe it’s not all down to him 😉
Morning Adam, thanks – I’d like to think the striker deal is being ‘done’ – but we all know how the manager works. Jan 31st if anything..
Does the Nike deal expire next summer?
Rico. If a potential winning position isn’t supplemented by squad improvements this time then I will eat a slice of Battenberg cake in pink-iced protest.
A team wit Zero World class players??? Watz ur definition of world class? I guess wat u mean is a £30M n above player. World class players need other world class players 2 compliment their abilities. If u say there r a few world class players in squad itz understood bt wen u say zero world class, itz quite pathetic cos We have Cazorla, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Podolski, Ozil, Rosicky, Wilshere, Arteta, Flamini n nw Ramsey whose qualities to me r enuf 2 b regarded as World class. We just need a World class striker, RB n CB n we’ll hav a complete World-class team 2 challenge @ every level 4 success. COYG!!!
I would also step back a few paces to those who got well pissed off with those of us stating we had serious cash last year and could have gone big instead of budget – 120m was it in cash reserves? Case closed? He really needs to prove he has what it takes now and 5 games of which I am not so sure we did better points wise with last season, means little. The atmosphere at Arsenal has been lifted by one signing, we need one of these per window now for at least the next three windows. TV money is up, dead wood (put there by Arsene) is gone, well nearly. Shirt deals coming, ECL money now guaranteed – no excuses. Show us what you got Arsene
Come on chaps. Positive slant on positive news! Austerity is very clearly behind us. Time for justified optimism…
Dave – Ozil was not there son, Verm was miles off of world class, Wilts was injured, Ramsey was being questioned by everyone, Flamini was not there either. Rosicky is great but not world class and neither is Arteta – so what was that pathetic remark again? Understand the numbers and times applied before you go slinging off champ.
🙂 Adam, not Clattenburg?
Dave, what does that mean if you take the ‘z’s’ out please?
Oz, agree, we hugely mucked up in the summer, Ozil was a fantastic signing but we truly missed a trick not getting at least a top class striker in – one who would bury all the chances he will set up.
Has to be a Jan minimum now, but if Bendtner starts scoring, I can see AW waiting until the summer. Have to hope Nik goes early Jan, we get a few pounds and we head off to Manchester, Liverpool or Villa to get that goal scorer…
Agree Bill – i guess my point as always was, it’s nothing new Wenger having serious bucks to invest, this time thanks to Gaz he was cruelly exposed thank goodness 🙂 Long may it continue! Although he does get hats off for his part in it in fairness. Lets go gunners.. its there for the taking. A new era dawns hopefully
‘the money we generate across the business is always available to our manager’ that is the point….in other words…… due to the stadium we didnt generate any funds for the manager, from the horses mouth.
are you illiterate Dave, or are there a few key missing on your keyboard?
Bill, you should have written one and sent it to me…
Einstein, so what happens to the ticket/gate money? The money from beverages, shirt sales etc etc etc. The sales of players over the years. Don’t tell me all of that was used to pay off the mortgage..
oh dear
Morning all,
Lets just hope that Giroud continues with his fine form and Bendtner is able to complement him until next summer. We won’t get a top top top striker in Jan window that’s for sure. No one will want to take a gamble as it will be 6months to the world cup.
The league will be won/lost based on our performances vs the top clubs(Chavs, shitty and manure) and our injuries which seems to be growing. I hope they recover before our big games in Oct/Nov.
Keep the faith COYG!!!
Oz?
Why not emma? Money talks and top strikers would love to be on the end of Ozil’s assists, would only enhance their game..
nope there are more overheads than just the stadium. we may have budgeted on the safe side, not counting on champs league, full stadium ect. i would rather this than see huge debts at the club. remember leeds ?? one thing that has been proven is that this club is not miss managed. and what has also been proven is that if the money is there the manager will spend it.
Agree Rico, Ozil must be a draw card we need to capitalise on
Hello all.
On top of the league and still the finger pointing at Wenger continues.
Some say he is responsible for the last 8 seasons, but not responsible for Ozil coming in?
Same thing said every bloody day by some and it is boring.
Night all.
rico – I think the striker that Arsene is looking for is that Suarez/RVP/Aguero/Wooney feature. So that rules out Benteke who has similar attribute to Giroud. Don’t see suarez coming to us as dippers won’t sell. Manure wont see wooney as we are now seen as title contenders
Scott, I don’t know anyone who suggests AW wasn’t behind the Ozil signing. In fact Ozil himself says it was all down to the phone call he had with the manager that confirmed his decision to join us.
Suggesting it’s bloody boring is harsh, no-one goes on at you for your ‘loving Ramsey’ comments 😉
see >> sell
I think both Liverpool and Man Utd would sell if the price is right emma – Rooney has only 18 months left on his contract, not sure how long Suarez has on his though….
Not sure Benteke is very similar to Giroud though, Benteke has pace doesn’t he 😉
Also he’s a big strong guy, whereas Giroud isn’t in my opinion..
rico 😉 “Also he’s a big strong guy, whereas Giroud isn’t in my opinion..”
I thought Giroud is big and strong as well 😉
Oz, I truly believe that Ozil will make other top player take a long hard look at Arsenal now, whereas before, they may have just thought we aren’t so attractive.
As Lee said on Monday, RvP’s face was a picture as his side took a battering and I bet he’d love to go back in time and sign that new contract he was offered….
He’s strong emma, but I just think Benteke is stronger, more like Drogba used to be….
And before anyone thinks I am berating Giroud, I’m not, he’s a really good striker but he can’t do it alone and he’s tiring as each game goes by.
Really hoping he doesn’t even make the bench tomorrow but I have a feeling he will…
Suarez contract is till 2018. Madrid will come for him as Benzema days looked numbered at the bernabeu. He was booed last weekend
I too think Real will try for Suarez and if they do, I’m sure Liverpool will sell – and Real is his first choice. If he doesn’t join us, I’ll just be glad to see him out of the PL…
Morning all.
Oz, if Rosicky isn’t a world class MF, I don’t know who is in the BPL.
Rico, there is no striker who’ll bury all chances.
Chips: We’ll always make the money we generate available to the manager, Arsene.
Arsene: I am an advocate of not spending what you don’t have.
Our Conclusion: Arsene does not like to spend money.
Shouldn’t we try to ascertain what has been made available to spend?
I know that Ch, I’m not stupid, it was just a figure of speech.
Is that the ‘royal we’ Ch, if so, do let us all know once you have found out…
ditto c2hills 11:29
I’m actually more interested in what the future holds and not the past – hence the post suggesting that Ozil is hopefully the sign of things to come and the days of signing ‘hopefuls and old crocks’ are far behind us….
c2hills – mate you have to be consistently great to earn a mark of world class – our TR07 simply hasn’t played enough for that honour
I got carried away, Rico re burying chances.
As to the spend part, I was becoming irritated during this past transfer window by Arsene’s dithering but at the end of the day, he signs Özil, Flamini and the italian Almunia. Seeing as I don’t know how much he had to spend, I take solace in what I do know, that is, he is ready to solve the team’s problems. However he does that is up to him, he is the manager.
Whether he did or didn’t, will or won’t or could have or should have, the fact is that the truth will be written in the points column at the end of the season. People getting their knickers in a twist over perceived stances they personally don’t approve of is rather silly. This is, hopefully still a forum for debate and trying to assert that the Ozil signing has, in itself, solved all our shortcomings is, in my view, inaccurate. A big step in the right direction for sure, but a step nonetheless. If you aren’t moving forward in football you are probably going backwards.
De Lima was always crocked Oz but, he is the best striker I have ever had the joy of watching. Remember his best moments came when he was playing for a star-studded Brazil.
11:38 – spot on Rico
Good points Scott re 10:56 am and CH at 11:29.
Enough said on AW crippling ‘our’ club nonesense.
The hate for him is becoming laughable imho…
As an example…If as a parent, your child tells someone my parents provide me with what ever I ask for, does that mean your child made Paris Hilton type demands and the parent provided all, or that the child knew what his/her parent could afford and did not ask for what he or she understood the family could not afford?
Yes the board never denied Aw money to spend but AW knew what was available and as a model professional he put the club’s long term interest first and spent what he had only!
Morning all btw…
Good morning father Adam.
Good morning my son.
Hi Ginge.
Am I making progress dad, I scored an A-.
c2. In which subject was that?
Whether you know that for sure is questionable, but I hope that’s AW’s continued aim…
So far so good, but the club can’t sit back and watch Jan go by without trying very hard to add at least a striker.
Ts – where is the hate for AW on here??
Commerce, dad. Actually, buying and selling.
Spot on Adam, what are we, 4/5 games into the season? We sit top of the league which of course is really good but the league isn’t won in September.
It’s where we are at the end of May which counts…
Which commodities would that be then? Or is it an across the board thing?
On the striker situation it was ‘unethical’ that we were unable to get a decent one in but I remember regulars on here saying they did not want Benteke but preferred Suarez, Hig, sicknote Jovetic and Rooney… but when he put 2 past us a lot of us change our views…
ts – I still haven’t changed my mind 😉 they were penalties 😉
It was stupid not to sign a striker Ts, even AW has said we are very short up front. He also tried for Ba very late which shows he wanted to sign someone..
Why leave it so late, that was stupid…
Yea Rico, we need a big bag wolf of a striker.
I hope Feo isn’t out of the Napoli game.
😀 Emma… You know I would prefer a Reus or Hamsik to an out and out striker.. apart from Lew of course… lol
It was stupid indeed Rico.
Negredo would have being a perfect fit. He destroyed manure last weekend. If we can lure Benteke in Jan that would be great but it’s going to cost lots of ££££
Dad, I’m ashamed to say though that tis the enslaving of humans to these wicked corporations. Not that the humans seem to care; as long as the money is good.
I’m off for a while..
Negredo was another one I went on about all summer and even before that… strangely I did not know his full name until Rico told me…lol
Negredo, Aguero, Suarez. We need one of these.
We inquired about both Aguero and Dzeko…
The whole summer was like a man invited to a Michelin star restaurant and wondering what to have as they was no steak and chips.lol
GM HH, it would be nice to see the Benz on the ems pitch, Benzema is the top striker we need.
Man city would never sell Aguero to us imo, Ginge.
C2. I wish to be enslaved and paid a lot of money. Unfortunately I have no skills and little common sense. I can however play Stairway To Heaven on the Triangle.
Gdna – Benzema? at the moment I will pass. He’s got to sort his head and start firing for club and country. He is lost at the moment in madrid. Don’t like so see a player get booed but I think his days are numbered
Your better off being yourself dad, geniuses are not known for common sense but, they’re still geniuses. Remember my rock knowledge is limited to the ones I hear in movies.
Gus poyet > sunderland
C2. I shall certainly bear that in mind in any future musical discussions. Seems I shall remain poor then. Thanks for the wise advice. 🙂
I like Gus… he will do ok there.
Your welcome dad but, I thought I said a whole lot of rubbish…
ts – What did u make of Gnabry performance vs Stoke?
Emma- I thought he did everything well… I players who know when to bring the ball back and when to go forward..
Hwe played within himself but I respect that to being gung-ho
Tis nice to see that even the young players at the club right now are above average.
ts – Thought as much. He played within himself and defended astutely than TW14 normally does. Hopefully as he bonds with the team, confidence level will hit sky high soonest
Gnabry – might be a good one this lad – shows real promise
He didn’t look out of place with the first team. 5th best player on the pitch based on opta stats. Walcott needs someone to get on his tail to step up. Hopefully Gnabry grabs this chance in the couple of matches he plays before he(TW14) returns
he’ll have competition emma – Pod, Ros, Ox, Caz all to come back Gnabry as well now – whether they can match his numbers is another thing though
Poldi can go near or even surpass his numbers but what makes him our most dangerous player is his pace, we need that.
Bendtner looks like one of those Japanese Monks in today’s training pics http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/Search/Search.aspx?EventId=181799210&EditorialProduct=ArsenalFC
still a knob 🙂
Ju young park ‘The forgotten man’ also involved in training
TH will be back in January 🙂
Looks like Viviano has now moved ahead of fabianski in the pecking order. Szezsny must be watching his back.
Its good to see Bellerin in the mix… he is the next big thing. He is a better footballer than CJ25 but not as good defensively…
It seems Frimp is still out unwell, so Hayden will get his chance.
Its hard multi-tasking… and blogging. lol
He(bellerin) certainly will if he gets his defensive side of his game right. Very good dribbler and passer of the ball
Flappy had a facial injury…
Martinez has gone missing from the squad… that is a strange one.
Has he been sacked? He is not featuring at u-21 level either.
Hayden is quite good too…
I am hoping to see a bit more of Eisfield tomorrow.
The looks of Bendtner could scare a defender making them take cover when he is approaching. Right?
possible emma, lets face it he’s scared plenty of coaches away 🙂
Moyes says Van Greedy is still out unavailable for tomorrow vs liverpool and has an outside chance vs west brom on saturday. Looks like that treatment table is getting ready for the long haul this season.
oz @1:37 😉
Emma- That is more like it re 1:338. lol
Fit enough to tweet.lol
https://twitter.com/IAMFRIMPONG26/status/382472842421350400/photo/1
Frimmys needs to sort himself out. He’s now got the opportunity to learn from Flamini/Arteta but he is throwing it away. I think he is good as gone as a freebie next summer
Frimps is crazy…
Looks like Barca are doing away with their possession(tiki taka) football as new manager Martino now adopts a different philosophy. They played on the counter last weekend allowing vallecano to have possession of the ball. Same approach was used vs Ajax in the CL. Looks like they are mimicking arsenal. Arsenal allowed Stoke possession of the ball in the 2nd half and hit them on the counter when the opportunity presents itself. Walcott would have had a good day if he had played
You are right Emma, they also had the least % of possession for the first time since Rijkaard was in charge…

Wenger – How I will approach cup tie
Arsène Wenger says the side he fields against West Bromwich Albion in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday evening will have a mixture of youth and experience.
The manager has used the competition to blood young players in previous years and will not change his approach – irrespective of Arsenal’s league position.
Serge Gnabry made his Arsenal debut in last year’s third-round victory against Coventry City and is set to be one of a number of teenagers included at the Hawthorns.
“I will try to find a good balance between experience and youth,” Wenger told Arsenal Player. “At the back you will have players you know well. Up front, you have a bit more improvisation and young players.
“You will see Gnabry again – everybody knows him already. Maybe the return of Bendtner as well, who will get a chance. That’s the kind of team we will have.
“We want to win this competition as well. I try to find the right balance between giving a needed breather to some players like Wilshere and Ramsey, who have given a lot.
“[I] take the competition very seriously as well because it’s an opportunity to win a trophy. We don’t want to neglect that.
“Having said that, we play again on Saturday and we play again on Tuesday. We had to play the qualifier of the Champions League which were two tough games.”
on Tomas Rosicky…
Rosicky is the first back [of the injured players], but not in time for this week. Next week we will start to speak about that. He could come back in the squad for Sunday or Monday.
on long-term absentees Podolski, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Diaby…
It’s fine, they are doing well but they are nowhere near ready. The next one back [of those three] might be Lukas. Alex will be one and a half months more.
on Lukasz Fabianski…
Fabianski will be alright [to start on Wednesday]. He had a nasal problem but he will be alright. Fabianski and Viviano are the two goalkeepers in the squad.
Totally agree with AW on his selection.
The kids never let us down imho….
Over the years the kids take us as close as possible but then AW brings in the seniors who always let us down when it matters. 2008 and 2011 finals plus last season’s capitulation at Bradford…
Still some fans will blame AW for not motivating his team well enough or not selecting the right players… 😉
ts – He is doing the best at the moment for the team. I was scared that if Ramsey could breakdown if he is not rested. As he has completed 90mins for both club and country since the start of the season. Good that Rosicky is back next week as well
I think I have heard it all now… 😛
Nik Postinger @nikpostinger 4h
Two standout quotes from club president Florentino Pérez in today’s Marca—”Bale was cheap” and “He was a Real Madrid fan since he was a boy”
La Mozart coming back is welcome news indeed Emma…
I wonder who will play next to Arteta tomorrow… Hayden or Eisfield.
I will prefer Eisfield as part of the pivot. Park may be in the squad too…
Ollson may miss out but I think he is better than Zelalem…
Line-up will probably be Flappy; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Monreal; Arteta, Hayden; Walcott, Gnabry, Ryo; Bendtner.
I will prefer Eisfield ahead of Hayden but I think AW will go with Hayden…
Sorry no Theo, so I wonder if Ozil will get the nod oe Eisfield…
Bench: Bellerin, Viviano, Ramsey, Kos, Akpom, Park, Olsson
Walcott is out
Wenger – It’s a big chance for Gnabry
Arsène Wenger believes Serge Gnabry’s performance “grew and grew” during Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Stoke City.
The German youngster is expected to keep his place in the team for the Gunners’ midweek trip to West Bromwich Albion in the Capital One Cup after making his full Premier League debut on Sunday.
And with Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain currently sidelined with injuries, Wenger thinks Gnabry has a big chance to hold down a place in the starting line-up.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for him,” Wenger told Arsenal Player. “He can play right or left or even behind the striker. He can even play as a striker. I believe against Stoke what I liked in his game is that he grew through the game, he became better and better.
“He was a bit timid in the first half but in the second half he made some good interceptions, some good passes and some good first touches that I liked.”
Gnabry starred for Arsenal Under-19s in their Youth League win over Marseille last Wednesday and Wenger thinks he has the ability to make it as a first-team player.
“He has the quality to be creative because he can dribble, he can run with the ball, he can be a good passer and he is a great finisher,” said the manager.
“On that front, once the confidence level [rises] he will be alright. His physical qualities, his technical qualities are at the requested level.”
He is technical superior to Ox and Theo imho…
I wonder if Serge will choose Ivory Coast if they come calling for him to join the WC squad next summer… with Zaha opting for England currently.
That will kill his career like Frimps if he did that imho…
Welbeck choosing England over Ghana proves that; I doubt he will be starting for Yanited if he pledged his international career to Ghana…
He saw a lot of the ball as he got involved defensively and offensively in the build up play. He is intelligent, got great vision and positional awareness
Not good news re Theo 🙁
Evening folk…
Evening Rico…
Evening Ts.
I see you and emma have predicted tomorrow’s line up…
You had that crystal ball out again 😉
Wonder why Theo has to go to Germany for his operation…. Bizarre..
Evening all, Rico all these stats and figures are you going tactical or what 🙂 Not read all the comments so this may have been discussed, but in the post we have figures of player buying player selling players wages and building site income. Now not that i know much about Arsenals Financial position, but what i have noticed is how the £30 million champions league money is never mentioned in any report i have seen. Now today i read a story in my daily lying paper and it was about our Klingon Neighbours. AVB has supposedly stated that it is not his intention to win the premier league he only wants to get to the champions league. Now what i want to ask is if the £30 million is never mentioned and i never see where this money goes then why would AVB be worried about get there, also this having to be in it to entice good players AVB hasn’t had too much trouble enlisting top player and quite a few i might add. £30 million is a vast fortune and when you consider we have had it for sixteen years why have we not a team of Marquee players. Does the £30 million ever get paid out and if it does what do they spend it on. Intriguing post Rico. 🙂
It warms the heart, to see a Father and a son reconciled….
Thanks Sp – to be honest, all the facts and figures revealed by afc.com confuse me somewhat and I get what you are asking about the CL money. I guess it all comes under one big heading..
‘Turnover from football’ would be my guess …
I was slightly bemused by it Kev 😉
Theo’s going to Germany to have some guts transplanted, he’ll return like an Alsation
16 x 30 = 496 million, how much was our stadium
He should be having his op here in the Uk.
Bit more than that I think Sp..
I’m wrong Sp, it cost £390 million…
I think it was £391 million Rico. 🙂
Kev. I never told you about my son did I?
Not £390 million and £1 Adam 😉
Sorry, you are right Rico -£390,000001. We always go that extra quid. The man with the ironed face will tell you that.
You mean poor old Brenda Adam?
No Rico. None other than John ‘ Ironed Face’ Henry. The inventor of Botox.
love the way barca are playing now. Sit back and hit you on the counter. 2 goals in 8 mins could have being 3. Sociedad caught out by Barca counter attacking play
Adam- Was it £30m 16years ago? I think one has to know what yr £30m commences for qualification for CL as those figures doesn’t tally
Ah, silly me Adam, I thought he was wiziwig?
emma, that was Sp’s mathematics, …
Emma. Maths are not my strong point I am afraid. 🙂
I’m off for the night..
Night Adam and all….
Dear Adam, replacing your crows feet with some chicken legs or going down the botox route, I’d really appreciate some advice.
tsgh, 11.47, a bit early for a scotch wasn’t it.
ta-ta rico.
Dave 10.15, that was a world class post, keep em coming.
No Adam, I must confess that you kept that a secret…
How many more ‘ I ask myself ‘…?
Then again with four ex-wives, I guess that there must be a whole posse of little ‘ Adams ‘ and ‘ Adame’s ‘ running around the Pentonville Road district… 😉
How does it go??? ‘Go forth and multiply’….
Not sure what geezer said that?!
Among those training in preparation for the League Cup tie at West Brom were;
Arteta, Monreal, Vermaelen, Jenkinson, Viviano, Bendtner, Park, Miyaichi, Gnabry, Martinez, Hayden, Olsson, Akpom, Eisfeld and Bellerin…
Wenger could make 11 changes from the team that started vs Stoke RFU…?!!!
Theo Walcott and Lukasz Fabianski seem to be the latest additions to the Arsenal sick-bay, just as Rosicky looks set to vacate a position alongside Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Sanogo, Yennaris, Afobe, Zelalem and Cazorla.
Eleven players who could have be considered for tonight’s cup-tie….
Morning all….
That’s a whole lot of injuries there Kev…
New post up
