He’s definitely leaving, for Arsenal? Merry Christmas.. 🎄🎅

Morning all.

Hungover and on your 4th coffee already? No, nor me either. I’ve had the brussels boiling for a couple of hours, stuffing is made and the rest is ready to go. Oh, and Christmas carols are blaring away in the background. I love Christmas…

Premier League football gets going again tomorrow and it’s non stop football from then until May. Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, European Football and Arsenal are still involved in three of the four. The biggest surprise though is Mikel Arteta’s team/squad siting top of the table. A win tomorrow and we’re guaranteed to go into the New Year in the same position. When did that last happen? When was that even a possibility going into a Boxing Day fixture?

Mikel Arteta has hinted that Arsenal will be active in the January transfer window. Mykhailo Mudryk was the name doing the rounds but now Felix Joao Felix has joined him. Back on the 6th December, Atlético’s CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín confirmed the club’s intention to sell Félix, saying:

Félix is the biggest bet the club has ever made. I think he’s a high-performance player, one of the best in the world, but, for reasons that it’s not worth naming now, the relationship between him and the coach is not good, nor is his motivation. I would love for it to continue, but that is not the player’s intention.

British journalist Duncan Castles reckons Felix could join either Arsenal or Man Utd in January. A fee of £8 million has been mentioned, plus his wages.

Anyway, as far as Arsenal go, things are looking pretty promising but for many of us, life might not be quite so good. Times are tough and there’s little sign of much improvement anytime soon so whatever you have in front of you, under the tree or on your plate at lunchtime, if you’re safe, warm and have family/friends around you, be grateful. Be happy.

Merry Christmas to you all…..

Merry Christmas and Happy New year in advance. We should not miss any of the two plus a solid midfielder to avert unforseen circumstances like injuries again. Note that there’s no more transfer window before the end of the season after January window. We are only lucky that Gabriel Jesus injury is now. We should always avoid being complacent if we are genuinely ambitious. I pray that Almighty GOD will support us in our mission to win the premier league

How things change , pre Covid granddaughter was up at 6 am screaming has he been . Now a few years later she’s still in bed at 10.30 whilst we are sittng in the kitchen on our second brew .
Oh wait I heard a noise upstairs as the cistern refills itself.
Tomorrow will be the acid test , I think it was Cloughie that said winning was a habit , we had that before the momentum was interrupted but so is losing . Something that we need to avoid .

Happy Christmas to all on HH.
Felix? I could never understand why he would join Simeone knowing the way he sees football and his general cynicism on the pitch. It was always a strange mix for me.

We apparently have 5 current players who are now studying to be coaches, I hope they concentrate more on playing then coaching at the moment. But good luck to them.
