Gunners Greatest Moments.

Morning all.

Founded in 1886, Arsenal FC was a team that turned professional only in 1891. Two years later, they joined the Football League. They were brought out by Sir Henry Norris and to better the clubs financial standing, he moved the team to Arsenal Stadium.

The first period of major success was when Herbert Chapman was appointed to them. The reformed the team and tactics, in other words, reshaping them. Ever since their major success, the team has thousands of other successful moments. Here are a few of the Gunner’s greatest moments:

1. The Gunners set a record of having 49 unbeaten games. 25 home and 24 away. This was set between May 2003 and October 2004.

2. When Michael Thomas sized his golden chance, and flicked the ball right past Bruce Grobbelaar.

3. When Arsene Wenger was appointed as Arsenal’s boss. Even though he has much to prove when he moved from Japan to North London. The Frenchman has brought a 15-years legacy to the group and continues to bring on success.

4. Arsenal clinched their first Double when the 1970/71 campaign kicked off. They clinched their first leg of their historic achievement at the house of their old rivals and claimed the league title.

5. Sylvain Wiltord sealed the Double in style and added the Premiership title to the FA Cup at Old Trafford.

6. When Arsenal bid goodbye to Highbury House and said hello to Emirates Stadium in 2006. As it is said, Highbury will always be home and Emirates will always be the key to the future.

7. Thierry Henry broke Ian Wright’s goal record, becoming the club’s top scorer.

8. When Arsenal beat Real Madrid at Bernabeu Stadium on the 21st February, 2006. No English team had ever beaten Real Madrid on their territory.

Arsenal FC had had their fair share of amazing moments be it home or away. They’ve always been a success and have always stood as a team. Arsene Wenger has been in the spotlight for a while and continues to lead stronger than ever.

Dan Crowley has completed his transfer to the Dutch Club Willem II. The 19-years-old has in all made sixteen league appearances and scored twice. Good Luck to Dan in his new role. The launch for the 2017/18 kit for the Premiere League has been completed with Sanchez and Ozil as the main models. Despite missing out on the Champions League for the first time in 20 years, they’re still going strong as a bull.

Rumours about Sanchez and Ozil meeting the end of their contract are expanding. Having fans worried. Will they even get to wear the kit they’re modelling for in a match? While speculation continues, Gunner fans still keep their fingers crossed.

    Afternoon Rico(eyes down) and All

I was 18 when we won the double(1971)
and was at the Lane and Wembley.
Them days seem a million years ago.

Back to the game I may have missed
a comment…But no one has mentioned
    Hackney Gazzette going off.
Our record buy,the striker, the fox in the box,
the player who would get the tap in’s.
1-0 down…who on that pitch would you
    back to nick a goal.
Surely Arsene’s not goner ruin this gezzer
    as well.
