Gabriel red card spot on, however…..

Once again after a match at Stamford Bridge, the conversation is all about the officials.

I thought we were cruising until Mike Dean and his stooges grouped together to ignore what looked like one of the easiest decisions a referee would have to make. However, that wasn’t to be, in fact Dean royally cocked it all up!

Costa, a push in the face of Koscienly, followed by a slap and not content with that, as Koscienly scrambled back onto his feet, the Brazilian, sorry, Spanish git bodyckecked our defender sending him right back on his butt!

Three red card offences in there!

Costa’s best mate, not, Gabriel didn’t like what he saw, just like all of us no doubt, and made his feelings known. Dean, being the useless, gutless man he is showed the yellow card to both Costa and Gabriel! Shocking! Costa should have been off..

As the players walked away, the fued between Gabriel and Costa continued as they muttered words in a language perhaps only both knew… Gabriel, stupidly kicked out, well, that’s a slight exaggeration imo, Costa cried like a baby to Dean and Dean duly obliged by branding the red card to our defensive hardman….

Gabriel will learn from that, mind you he should have kept control of his emotions but the reality is, had the officials dealt with the situation correctly in the first place, there would have been no Costa for him to kick out out and it would have been Chelsea playing with ten men rather than Arsenal….

And I shouldn’t forget to mention that Costa should have been in the book long before that incident for waving the imaginary card around after feeling aggrieved following a strong tackle….

Perhaps it was inevitable that we’d concede a goal when down to ten but I’ve seen our players be given offside for a less obvious position than Zouma was in… Harsh eh…

We had a chance to draw level but Alexis just isn’t firing right now, I think he’s still struggling to find last seasons form… He will though, that’s what great players do.

When Santi Cazorla was shown a second yellow, the game was out of reach but considering we played a huge chunk of the game with ten, Chelsea hardly battered us did they?

We missed a great chance to keep the Chavs in the gutter where they belong but we blew it, well, the officials did. But don’t they often when it comes to us verses Mourinho…

I hope the players don’t lose heart after today because as I said at the beginning, we were pretty much cruising the game until Dean perhaps remembered who paid his wages…..

As for Costa, I think Rio Ferdinand described him quite well. A petulant baby, a liability, a ticking time bomb….

He forgot thug, cheat and a total git! But hey, That’s the game Mourinho likes, especially when he’s been having a bad time….

Livid? Me too!

Oh, and fingers crossed the injury to Coquelin isn’t serious…..

The simple fact that Mourinho had the guts to claim Costa was his Man of the Match shows he is a bigger fool than Costa is albeit the latter is more than a big fool. I wanna see what the FA will say on this matter. cos it looks so unreal. maybe mike deans pockets should be checked for some pennies with Abrahamovis or Mourinho finger prints. Absolute gross incompetency from Mike Dean or it might be a deliberate attempt.
But one part of me still likes Gabriel for showing he doesnt bend to cnuts.

  2. potter says:

Man of the match according to Mourinho. Scott he pushed the buttons by continuing the verbals 6 inches behind Gabriel ‘s ear . He knew that he was safe having only got a yellow for the previous incident so he felt free to keep winding. He got the reaction which I am not sure Dean saw, I think he went on the lino’s say so.

  3. Bumba11 says:

I had not been that angry in a while! Look forward to someone putting in a over strong tackles which sidelined him for a while!

Seeing that I think I find Garth Crooks a bit of a nob or knob, I have to say I totally agree with his assessment of today’s referee. Mike Dean should be ashamed of himself, furthermore he should be dropped from the EPL list of officials, at least for the rest of this season and probably for eve! He won’t be because most of the rest of the FA appointed Ref are worse than he is! So where do es that leave us?
Crooks has got it right, dead right. Will the FA do anything? Yes they will, nothing!

Welcome back Rico. You been away? We’ve had this chap called Wath he’s been ok but he’s not the boss! He did ok, really! Better than Mike Dean that’s for sure. Then again he only had to hand out one yellow card, as I recall!

  6. redanddread says:

Look, what happened was an injustice but had we had a little “more” about us then we could have gotten a moral boosting favourable result. But consistently, we show that we don’t have “it”. The required hardness and nous to navigate these difficult situations. We consistently shoot ourselves in the foot & have been doing it for years.

  7. rico says:

Thanks Ts, I hope to be fully back in a week… Really pissed off after today’s game, not because of the team though, and certainly not the manager. Just Dean and his cronies….

  8. tsgh says:

    I don’t blame you Rico.
When you consider Diego Costa was not been penalised for a foul today but Santi Cazorla committed two fouls today and got 2 yellow…
and Mike Dean had officiated Arsenal v Chelsea five times (W1 D2 L2), three occasions at Stamford Bridge (W1 L2) before today..

  9. Goonster says:

Dna it’s a mystery that we couldn’t find anyone to improve our team yet payet and ayew ll have improved us massively. Cohesion indeed.

  10. Goonster says:

Ts could we all drop the act. 11 vs 11 we still would have lost that match. Let’s play thst game over and over and we ll lose every fucking time. Wenger is no match for any manager anymore alone his nemesis. He’s washed up ts. He’s done for. Excuses excuses. Next please.

  11. Hell Raising Devil says:

    Good Evening Lovelies and Hunkies.

Were you away boss?? I did not know that seeing that I was sort of “AWAY” as well since Monday. For those who would like to know where I suggest you await eagerly for December 2016 when the film Assassin’s Creed hits the big screen. It was my first experience as an extra and will defo go for it again if the opportunity arises. I took part as an extra and really enjoyed it. It began as a lark and ended as a great experience. It was tiring as well seeing that we were working for around 14 hours a day.

I saw the game today. And I was impressed with the commitment shown by the team. they played collectively and even when we were down to 10 men we made the chavs work hard.

I am not going to comment on the game. Much will be said. Enough to make one vomit. However, the last two games have shown us one thing. AW is interested only in the Epl. Seems I was right about the line up vs Zagreb as I suggested 7 changes but AW made 6. So it seems that in all cup games…CL, FAcup, LC the team will be made of the 2nd team. Maybe that was why he did not strengthen during the summer. He will play with the present team till December and strengthen the team in January……when anyone of the following….Krychowiak, BenderX2 etc will be out of the Champions lge. And he will get them cheaper. I do not agree with this, however, we have to support what we have atm.

Shitty are loosing 0-2 to the hammers.

  12. Dublingunner says:

Evening all, Rico I feel exactly the same way of late, apart from being busy, my love affair with Arsenal under Wenger is dwindling day by day, I just cant seem to get up for games of late, fed up by the whole sorry arsenal debacle. on today although Dean and Costa will be the talk, fact is AW still has never managed to beat Jose in the premier league, that alone truly saddens me

  13. Goonster says:

Dublin gunner my point exactly. I have arsenal apathy lately. I pity the fans who have to travel far and wide to watch this show of shame. The lads at Zagreb during the week all loon deflated. What happened to the mighty arsenal? ?? We built the emirates to compete but we haven’t in a decade. I ll gladly go back to highbury anyday.

  14. Gdna says:

Goon, i have come to the conclusion that AW is finished bro, so i won’t mention him too much. He is in his comfort zone in London, i’m in my comfort zone in US. We are talking about a club with a manager and a fan base who preaches class, but look at the last transfer window? When you value you reputation on class most ish that happens at the club should never happen. So am just watching some games homie and enjoy life. I have some Latina friends from NY by Va Beach for the weekend, sorry you are in NC, we would be balling out. lol

  15. Goonster says:

Since we re playing at siduna park I think we ll turn them over. Have you noticed something lately. Tuchel has a bit of klopp to him lately. Klopp when he first arrived that is 😀 I kinda like it. Let’s go dortmund 😀

  16. Mick M says:

Nice write up. Arsenal didn’t capitulate today. The ineptitude of the ref helped Chelsea who, lest we forget, are a good enough team without the aid of the officials. Wenger sent a good side out there and one that, I suspect, could have got a decent result had it remained an even playing field. The same individuals who moan about our players being light-weight then start raining about Gabriel showing a bit of spirit. He might have been naive to have got sent off but is there, JT aside, a more wretched individual plying his trade in the PL than D. Costa? All players call it on then turn into grasses but I mean…For fucksake.

  17. arsenal11730 says:

I admit it wasn’t our worst performance but we just find different ways to lose a match. We are mentally weak and do not have a plan b. This tippy tippy is beautiful to watch but I want results. My frustration is at its peak close to when Gallas had his strop or Sol went AWOL at halftime versus the Irons. If Le Coq is injured. God help AW as we can clearly see the difference when he’s not in the middle we are soft. The knifes will be out Bigtime and I just sadly admit it may then just unfold and we may not pull out the rabbit this season with a strong run. Au Revoir AW. Thanks for all the Great things you did for Us Gooners.
    Cheers

  18. tsgh says:

Lets hope Tuchel can keep it up…; don’t forget Klopp finished 5th in his first season though.
His predecessor Thomas Doll had no money to spend. Our biggst players were worn and Alexander Frei…

  19. Goonster says:

Hahahahahah I totally forgot about Frei. My God that seems like an age ago. I actually think we have a chance this season ts. The bayern juggernaut don’t look so impressive this season. I think the wheels is about to fall off and hopefully we ll be waiting.

  20. rico says:

Dublin, I’m not angry with AW today though. I think I’m more cheesed off about Arsenal as a whole, especially the owner and board…

  21. Joaquim Moreira says:

“No team in Premier League history has seen more players sent off than Arsenal (79, level with Everton) “
    this is true?

  22. Dublingunner says:

Goonster, I do feel sorry for the travelling Arsenal supporters that cannot give up their fix, but they are the only ones that can truly make a difference..
Wenger is protected from every angle. He can fail as often as he wants to fail and will never be held accountable. A few wins and the fans, will pipe down and forget our bad perfomances like wednesday night, a night of, no momentum , no pace, shocking passing, terrible mentality.all brought about by Wenger,s pointless rotation. A night we should,ve had our strongest 11 out to get them 3 points, but Wenger had other ideas, he,s arrogancy and naivety came back to bite im on the arse.as is becoming a regular occurance these days.

  23. Goonster says:

Dublin we re a joke of a club. Who can’t even shoot from 5 yards to save our lives. On one occasion bellerin was face to face with begovic but he chose to cross the ball. It was 0.0 then!! That could have changed the outcome of the game. Who else ll coach a player to paas when he’s on goal??? ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER!!! We re so predictable. Pep really finished us. Every one can set up and thwart us. Our attack is blunt. Midfield is running on half tank. Defense is the only thing going for us now which is actually weird. Until that french fraud fucks off we won’t be considered a top team.

  24. Goonster says:

I so want uefa to reduce England’s quota from 4 to 3. Without the champions League money maybe just maybe the greedy American cnut and his lying deceitful compadre ll fuck off finally. I long for that day.

  25. Joaquim Moreira says:

and it’s not possible protest a match, citing a clear error of the referee, with great influence and impact at the final score?

  26. Goonster says:

Slaven bilic has beaten 3 top teams away from home this season. Not relegation fodders but top teams. US poop and shitty. Can Wenger do that? Can he mastermind a win at Stamford bridge Etihad and arnfield??? Your guess is good as mine.

  27. Dublingunner says:

Rico, I didn,t bother watching the game today, couldnt be bothered, so i am not as Pissed off about todays game as you, thankfully. Instead I spent it in the park with the kids, of late, I have found myself wishing ill thoughts of the rest of AW,s tenure at Arsenal.
Definitely signs for me to take a back seat and re-evaluate my interest in Arsenal f.c under the reign of Wenger.

  28. scottfromoz says:

    Morning all.
    Still pissed off right royally.
The club should come out and publicly state they will not set foot on a pitch where Dean is refereeing.
No explanations, let the public make their own deductions.
Time to stand up to this crap.

  29. Malaga gooner says:

This squad wenger has put together is not good enough
The last time he put a squad together that was any good was in 2004
We went with his youth policy and it failed
    Time for a new direction

  30. Micko says:

    Scott…..Wenger-Ball vs A death from a thousand cuts, it’s a close call !

Didn’t see the game today, the pubs were rammed for the Ireland match, the Japan vs South Africa game that followed was possibly the best game of rugby I’ve ever seen.

I’m in Blighty this Wednesday, been promised a ticket for the scum game, I know some may have a problem getting their head around that but it’s either in your blood or it ain’t !

  31. Goonster says:

MG there’s nothing wrong with the team. This same team lead the league till xmas a few seasons ago. They are no mugs. Bar striker and another dm. The problem is not the players stop blaming them. The problem is we have a dud for a manager. We gift teams goals like a conference side for fuck sake.

  32. Micko says:

Stan, give it a break, we did win the 4th placed trophy that year, talk about selective memory !

Nite Gooners, nite rico, ease yourself back in gal, your the onions in our burger !

  33. Joaquim Moreira says:

    I said at least., 4 weeks….
I can’t understand this players management from the beginning. We had 4 players at he American Cup after a big and hard season. They fall the pre-season specially Alexis (is muscularly tired); the fixtures are very demanding. Players have until January, two matches a week (at Arsenal and beyond):Consequently, muscle injuries result, the most usual injury and suspensions will be regular;I do not agree but “understand” who do not buy new players. Just do not see how in such a short squad, if lend players with so many games until January; In my logic when players no longer have games for their countries, it was decided in our future champions and the cup, there thus power up would lend players if anyone wanted them. We have a very short squad, maybe because we suppose to buy someone. We loon the players first and then we probably bought. It went wrong. We tried to rotate a little bit in Zagreb and we fail (probably because the players are almost the same and have Chelsea game in theirs mind. Moreover, Giroud was sent off); we had Chelsea game in mind, and we fail.
In my opinion, with next fixtures, or we forget the Champions, or the League, or next Cup, or two of them, or all of them…only, for the moment, 15 (most of them tired and out of good “shape”) and 2 Gks.No surprise: before and after international commitments, the performance of teams usually very intermittent (look at the results of this weekend)
Compare the “freshness” of West Ham or Leicester.
Muscle fatigue will continue but the different between the top teams is they have a squad deep enough and Arsenal none.
Everything is reflected in the few goals, the lack of confidence the shoots, etc

  34. allezkev says:

Well if Coquelin is out for four weeks, what are the options?
    a) Arteta
    b) Flamini
    c) Ramsey
    d) Debuchy
    e) Bielik

Pick the bones out of that little lot…

  35. ScottfromOz says:

    Kev, I’d go with Aaron.
He’s not giving us that much playing wide so might as well have a crack.
Micko, enjoy the game bud, I’d get to every one I could.
Maybe i’d get worn down at some point though.

  36. Tai says:

Say anything…my man-of-the-match is Gabriel. He showed that Costa of a twat he can’t bully everyone! Mike Dean is a fool, a big fool or something worse.

  37. scottfromoz says:

    Tai, I’m with you.
I reckon the kids already an Arsenal legend lol.
We wanted a hard man, now people are saying he was naive?
I’ve read idiots on FB saying imagine what Adamas would’ve done, but Gabriel was silly?
    Please!!
There is only one person at fault for that farcical situation and we all know who he is.
    Corrupt little bastard.

  38. Tai says:

    Morning Scott…

I was crying for a monster of a CB…Gabriel is Keown or something even tougher…that is credit to Wenger…getting Cech and Gabriel has made Arsenal stronger, much stronger.

With City losing yesterday, let’s hail Gabriel, send the message to him that he did no wrong…blame who should be blamed …the demented idiot, Costa and the silly corrupt goat, Dean.

  39. allezkev says:

    Morning All

Scott I’ve read the view that Arsenal need to wise up in these types of games.

For example why didn’t Koscielny fall to the floor when Costa struck him in the face.

You have to consider the behaviour of certain opponents, realise that if you don’t play them at the same game, that you’ll come off second best…

  40. Hell Raising Devil says:

    Good Morning Lovelies and Hunkies.

I happen to blame another person for yesterday’s fracas besides Dean and Costa.

    I blame Kos.

yes, you read it right. KOS

for the simple reason that he did not fall theatrically to the ground holding his face immediately after being slapped by Costa. Do you honestly think that if it was the other way round Costa would not have feinted injury???

Yes. Had Kos fallen to the ground the situation would have been different. Plus he would have been banned in retrospect. As it was, Kos did not fall and we were punished for him being honest.

  41. scottfromoz says:

Kev, to those who say that I’d respond “why should we have to cheat to get a fair go?”.
    Why do we have officials?
Get those pricks doing their jobs and there’s no issue.
Tai, if the kid gets the English lingo down pat, I’d make him captain.
Nobody will ever get the better of us physically or mentally again.

  42. Hell Raising Devil says:

Scott…..If you fall to the ground holding your face without being hit IS CHEATING. But if you have been slapped and fall to the ground then you are not cheating.

The assistant referee saw that Kos continued to play and did not comment…..CONVENIENTLY. Had Kos fallen to the ground holding his face he would have been forced to comment to the ref.

  43. Tai says:

I go with you Scott…I hate theatrics of any kind. The refs were not blind…they saw what Costa did clearly…it didn’t need Kos to copy the idiot Costa by acting. I hate red cards in games to any side and I wouldn’t encourage our players to act for anyone to be sent off. Kos acted like a tough guy, telling the animal Costa, ‘I don’t care about your dirty tricks, I’ll only prevent you from scoring’…that, to me, made my day.

  44. ScottfromOz says:

Devil, I know what you’re saying, but I have a 9 year old son who potentially has a future in the game and I’d be absolutely ashamed if I saw him ever do it…..how can I say it’s ok when he watches the game?

  45. Lee says:

I’m losing more and more interest in Arsenal…..yesterday’s refereeing debacle aside the squad has been grossly neglected by Wenger! We’ve needed a spine for fucking ages, yet nothing gets done!

The bullshit, lies and deceit that emulate from Arsenal are beyond a joke!

So shock fucking horror that Welbeck, Wilshere will be out for longer than predicted…. now Coquelin is out and we have two players in Arteta & Flamini that just shouldn’t be anywhere our squad to rely on?!?! We act like a small club.

  46. ScottfromOz says:

Lee, we have a player who shows spine and gets criticised though.
Let’s not make yesterday about Wenger.
The season can be blamed on him.
    CL can but not yesterday.

  47. Hell Raising Devil says:

I know what you mean Scott. And I agree with it. But Kos was HIT. not tickled. not brushed. but HIT.

At the end of the day the wrong player was sent off twice. Cazorla was wrongly booked for the first yellow since the player dived, while Gabi was sent off for an offence which had Costa been sent off would not have happened.

  48. Goonster says:

Morning scott I have a question for you if wenger finally fucks off and a new manager gets this same team playing some bad ass footie will you finally agree with me that the cause of all our woes since 2005 is that fraudulent tosser?? Will you?? Because I guarantee you another manager ll get this same guys looking like world beaters. Lies deceit poor management of players wrong substitutions brainless tactics and most of all no respect for the fans. Gee how someone can support a man that told the fans to fuck off is beyond me.

  49. Goonster says:

One of the saddest days of my life. Am still haunted by that scoreline. Yet in that time ancelotti has been fired for winning the champions League. Benitez was deemed not good enough yet he won the uefa cup with the chavs. I don’t get it. Which other top team in europe has been smashed like we constantly get battered. 6.3 5.1 6.0 8.2 my god its not even a tennis score!!!

  50. ScottfromOz says:

    You guarantee it Stan???
I wish you’d actually read my posts mate, seriously.
We have Wenger, therefore I’ll support him.
If/when someone else comes in, they’ll have my support.
The thing is, it’s very easy to criticise when things are going badly….anyone can do that…..it doesn’t take much.
I said Wenger should’ve left after the 2014 FA cup and I’ve repeated that several times yet you ignore that because it’s convenient for you.
    Why is that?
Do you people who spend every spare moment criticising Wenger need someone to argue with?
Even when we state often enough we feel he should’ve left???
Even when we agree, you still ant to argue.
    Explain yourself.
My comments overnight were do not blame Wenger for yesterday’s result because that’s a crock of shit and you know it.
Explain exactly what Wenger did wrong yesterday.
The unimaginative response always seems to be the Transfer Window failings which I’ve ALSO AGREED WITH repeatedly, but that’s all you’ve got.
Yesterday we put out a bloody competitive side, tactically we were right in the game until the send off and the boys were up for it.
Give me a bloody intelligent answer instead of the same shit you recently offer up every day.
Dean is to blame for yesterday and if you took your blinkers off for a few minutes you might admit it.
    Guarantee?
Shit, there’s no such thing in football and that comment alone shows you can’t see the forest for the trees.

  51. Goonster says:

Dean was at fault for the previous 14 games too right? Dean was at fault for west ham and Zagreb? ?? Am not here to trade insults with you but I don’t get why u get all riled up over wenger and start using abusive words. I have never insulted you once so what’s the deal?? You keep harping about refs when it’s fucking obvious the bloody french cnut has lost the plot. We can’t score defend or play good football anymore. All we do is pass pass pass. No shot on target and you blame the ref. Very funny. You don’t want anyone to blame wenger yet you keep supporting him. Talk about double standards.

  52. Hell Raising Devil says:

the best thing to do Scott is not to argue or reply.

on the following line you merit a round of beer……Give me a bloody intelligent answer instead of the same shit you recently offer up every day.

that in itself made my day

  53. rico says:

Not sure Wenger can be blamed for yesterday either Scott, for squad issues he’s failed to address yes, but yesterday, no chance…

    Morning all.

    New post up..

  54. Goonster says:

MG I maintain the players are not shit. We had afobe the fraud sold him and kept sanogo. We took kallstrom on loan on the last day of the transfer window for crying out loud. You and I knew ozil santi and even sanchez before they arrived at arsenal. Have they improved or regressed since joining??? What kind of manager makes the same fucking substitutions at the same fucking time every damn game. 70th minute!!

  55. Lee says:

Wenger is finished as a top flight manager….a fairly ordinary West Ham have got more away points against top teams this season than we have managed in the last couple of seasons!!!

  56. Goonster says:

What neck rico what have I said that warrants me winding my neck in?? Whom have I insulted? I have conducted myself in a gentlemanly manner so I don’t get the winding in my neck talk maam.

  57. rico says:

Goonster, if you want to continually call the manager a French c**t, I know a good blog that would allow it… Yes the manager is doing a lot of things in a way we all wish he wouldn’t but name calling is cheap.

  58. Simon Ngulube says:

    Good morning all,

I have just finished going through all your comments since this article was posted yesterday. It’s very interesting.

    However I still have questions:

    1. What will the FA with regards to Dean’s incompetency and fraudulent actions?

    2. What will the FA do to Costa?…his theatrical drama go unpunished?

    3. What are we going to do to Wenger for crooking us again this season? Are we going to allow him continue playing around with us while he wrecks in millions of pounds in his pockets? Yet we emotionally suffer for the other years to come again?

Now Conq is injured then what now?…we he still give us excuses that we have most players injured?

Is this what we were seeing before n during the transfer window?

Obviously Dean is to blame for the game yesterday but Wenger has to blamed . .

First, he has not strengthened the squad.

Secondly, he is not vocal enough when it comes to refereeing decisions…..will he query the FA?…so many times Dean has cost us games but nothing happens to that bastard. You can tell by just looking at him that the man is a crook n corrupt.

I understand he didn’t see both incidents but what made him to give a yellow to Costa when Arsenal players complained and a red Gabriel when Costa complained? How does he judge?.,,The man is mad!

I think Gabriel is man….if we can have a few players in our squad who don’t crap like he does then we will get back our respect that we rightfully deserve….which the ageing Wenger has sold.

Whether we win the next games or not , wr still want change….Wenger should go.

Leave your comment.
