Ditch the ‘i’ product and get involved…

Morning all.
This one is a bit different and not written by myself but I think it interesting.

What’s the most popular sport in the world? Yes of course, it’s football and with the World Cup just days away, that popularity ramps up a notch. The younger generation though, are happy to watch but not so many are willing to participate in sports. They prefer to pass their time in front of their electronic gadgets like computers, smartphones. Some of them prefer playing football on either on pc, Xbox or on PlayStation than getting outside in the fresh air. Playing any sport virtually is of course less physical but it’s unhealthy and not a good sign for our future generation.

By taking part in football or and sport helps people to stay fit and can prevent some of the deadly diseases such as hypertension, diabetes etc and it certainly makes people feel a lot happier than before. Because sport also helps people to stay both physically and mentally fit.

You may not be interested in playing sport but there’s plenty of other ways to get involved in any event which might just help increase your interest. Any of which will be able to stay healthy and it doesn’t matter at what level the tournament is for you to benefit.

Become a volunteer.

Every sporting event regardless of how big or small needs helpers. Remember the 2012 Olympics when the home nation was desperate for people to help? Well I suspect your local football club, hockey club etc etc would love some help too and surely it’s got to be better than being stuck indoors with eyes glued to an iPad?

Supporter.

You can become a supporter of any sports team, no matter what level your local club plays at, get down there are get behind them. Watching the kids play on a Sunday morning can be good and your out in the fresh air doing something. You never know you might spot the next Tony Adams or Thierry Henry. Or the next Francis Jeffers! My local football club are still celebrating a trip to a Wembley final just a week or so ago and one they won too so you just never know where supporting your local team will take you.

Catering (Food and Beverage Services)

One of the most commonly seen service in any event. This catering service is very important which actually represent how well organised the event is. By doing this you will be able to learn how to handle customers. Most of the catering services offer free meal vouchers which will help you to save money. Even cutting lemons up for halftime or making a cuppa for the few fans stood in the cold will go down rather well.

Language Services.

In the stadiums where football event takes place, people from many different countries are in attendance. If you have good command over any other language rather than English, you can give language service in the football event.

This will help you to increase your communication skills. You can also increase your word stock which will help you to custom essay writing in your academic life.

Medical Services.

If you are a student in medical college then you could offer your local club support in first aid at least, more if your medical knowledge is greater. There’s always a kid somewhere who needs a plaster after taking a tumble whilst mucking about on the sidelines.

By doing any of these things you will be able to gain attention around our communities and gain knowledge and skill yourself along the way. It’s a great way to become involved with people from all walks of life too.

Surely that’s better than sitting at home with the latest gadget in your hand…?

Morning Joaquim. Give us at least a transfer to talk about! Worse still, an England friendly tonight, let’s hope Iwobi does well.

Hi Paddy, I reckon before, there’s still two weeks to go before the WC kicks off and I reckon Ivan and co will want a holiday during that time… 😉

Plus, after the WC, prices might go up…

Evening all and thanks Rico for one of the most boring posts you`ve never done ! ………………not one mention of a transfer rumour in it !
    😆

I dont think I`ve ever seen so many Arsenal transfer rumours without one being signed.

How comes Iwobi wears his socks up properly for Nigeria and not Arsenal ?……………………for some reason it really pisses me off when he looks like a scuff with them half way down his calfs !

Once all the competing teams are in Russia the transfer business will move into top gear. All the agents will be there, all the club executives too. There will be endless opportunities to meet and make deals which can be finalised as soon as countries start getting knocked out.
