Cazorla and Ozil funny sketch. Giroud and Ramsey out for another week at least…

Morning all.

Poor old Arsene Wenger, the questions over him taking on the England job simply won’t go away. Even if he decides to leave when this season ends, if I was him, I’d steer well clear of taking over the international team. Whoever eventually gets the job on a permanent basis will always struggle because the players simply aren’t a team. They are a bunch of individuals who think they are better than they really are. He clearly watched both of the England matches as when talking about Theo’s performance he said: “One of his main qualities is his runs so it depends on the service he gets.” And lets face it, he had no service whatsoever….

So far this season he’s been involved a lot, defending, attacking and scoring goals and that’s not only down to his new attitude, but he’s playing together with better footballers and players who believe in him. As many of us have said this week, he’d be better off quitting international football all together and concentrate on his club career.

During Arsene’s press conference, he confirmed both Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey will be out for at least another week, Carl Jenkinson returns from injury tonight for the under 23’s and amid all the transfer speculation surrounding Hector Bellerin, he’s going nowhere anytime soon:

“He has nearly three years to go, we always try to get the players to the [financial] level where we think they deserve to be. We will try to extend his contract, his long-term future is here.”

Perhaps that will put an end to all the transfer talk, for a while anyway….

I’d imagine the only doubt for Saturday’s match is Alexis Sanchez. Not because of injury of course but the fact that he’s been in South America, played two full matches, the last being yesterday evening so after a long flight home today, he’ll be shattered. But as we all know, Alexis doesn’t like being subbed, let alone left on the bench so it’s a tough call for Arsene Wenger, especially with a Champions League fixture just a few days later.

Tough decisions for Arsene Wenger to make after this international break but at least Lucas Perez is back fit and raring to goΒ as is Francis Coquelin. Better still though, is none of the Arsenal players picked up an injury whilst away with their respective countries.

Enjoy…….

We are left with Perez as our main striking option. We need to rest Sanchez cause the fixture is quite busy.

Giroud wil always be ‘a week away’ till May πŸ™‚

What about the forgotten man of Arsenal………..? …………….Sanogo!

    Morning all.

Alexis not play on Saturday? If that happens I bet you’ll see pigs flying in the sky!

    Buon pomeriggio Lovelies and Hunkies.

Rico, while the sketch by Cazorla and Ozil seems funny I wish that our players would stop Instagramming, selfying, twittering etc etc, and concentrate on the performance. yes we live in 2016 now, however I feel that concentration now is needed more than ever.

Afternoon Adam, and all. I thought i’d be talking to myself so I went and cleaned the chickens house… πŸ˜‰

Devil, that video was from the official site…

Marshall, often quiet when we are doing well… Wait until Swansea beat us… πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  5. Adam says:

    That’s true Rico.
I have an indignant comment, calling for Arsene’s immediate resignation, waiting for immediately after our next loss. I will also set out my vastly superior plans for winning the PL and the CL incorporating a full round of player’s musical chairs supported by a detailed financial breakdown.
You’ll be fascinated with my lack of insight. πŸ™‚

  6. Wavy says:

So Adam, we can expect the same old same then, when you seize power? That’s good as I don’t like change very much. I prefer the comfortable old slippers rather than the pair with go-faster stripes on them! The old pair have been fitted with tricky tacky soles too. So, no change needed there, either!

    Hi All:
And this is coming from a guy whose anti-social media. Heck it took me 4 years to post on HH, although I was reading daily. I think too much is made of players on social media…. different players have different preparation and motivation methods. It probably takes less than an hour of their time daily. Ronaldo stays on social media, yet his dedication is unquestionable. At the end of the day they are professional players. All this talk about, “we were motivated by their selfies and posts” is overated. Maybe for younger players they may need some education on the content of their posts, but other than that if posting is effecting your efforts on the pitch then you need to find another profession.

  8. Marshall says:

Rico, we flood here after a loss cause it’s therapeutic πŸ™‚ . I hope it remains quiet though.

I sometimes dislike the selfies and all but I think the players are encouraged to do so since besides entertaining us off the pitch, they are marketing the arsenal ‘brand’.

Now that Giroud is injured I think they are using Sanogo as a post to bounce the ball off him in training…Rico on April fools have a headline reading “Sanogo to be offered bumper new contract” lol

  9. rico says:

Me neither Adam, I can feel it bubbling away in anticipation of a poor performance…

Marshall, absolutely, the quieter the better…

You reckon Sanogo will still be here in April?

  10. Le Coq Monster says:

    Thanks Rico.

Everyone back from Poundland ? πŸ™‚

Just read on newsnow a couple thing`s………………….1) Ozil and Alexis are 3rd and 4th behind Ibra` and Pogba in most shirt sales and we also have Rambo and Xhaka in the top 20 !
Spuds have one player in it and he`s an Arsenal supporter and it`s not Sissoko !

    2) A list of the the EPL`s richest owners, they only have Stan and not Uzzy ……otherwise we would be within touching distance of Mansour !……………shame that Uzzy and Stan are not in a gay marriage as I think we could shaft the lot of them then………………………………I`m sure Stan dye`s his syrup !…..have a close look !. hahaha
