Arsene Wenger sows seed of doubt. Henry wants the job, give it to him?

Morning all.

Just a few weeks ago, Arsene Wenger was quite adamant that he’d be Arsenal manager next season, the final of his two year contract signed last summer. Yesterday though, after the 3-0 mauling by Man City, when asked again whether or not he’d be Arsenal manager next season, his reply was simply ‘who knows.’ Perhaps the penny has dropped.

We’ve all said it before. Some ten years ago, others more recently but regardless of when you and I came to our view, the time for his departure really should be imminent. Whether or not he makes it to May is a tough call to make because he looks a broken man and as much as despise what he’s done to the club over the last ten years, it’s not nice to see him looking so frail and dejected. His own stubbornness and ignorance to the path football has taken at the very top is the main reason he looks the man he is today. Just how our board and owner have stood by and watched him suffer in such a way beggars belief really. We often talk about Arsene Wenger being a bad manager of men, but so are those around the Frenchman. They’ve all been happy to let him carry on digging his own Arsenal grave, instead of taking him to one side, putting their arm around him and explaining why the club needed to let him go.

‘Watching Wenger now is like witnessing the ageing Muhammad Ali against Larry Holmes or Brazil’s Ronaldo when he got fat. The problem with Arsene is there is no one in his corner prepared to throw in the towel.’  – Ian Wright.

Instead, the man who brought trophies and good times back to Arsenal twenty years ago looks a lonely figure. He’s lost, out of ideas and broken.

During his early years, the players he had believed in him 100%. They gave their all for him on and off the pitch and they wouldn’t hear a bad word about him as he prolonged careers, gave a second chance to some who were struggling elsewhere and turned average players into great ones. Even him banning Mars Bars was soon forgiven. Now though his players have left him, they certainly don’t seem to want to play for him of that I’m sure otherwise we’d be a lot better than we are. I don’t think they believe in his ideas and I don’t think any of them really have a clue what’s expected of them.

Back in his day, Arsene Wenger was renown for his ‘I didn’t see it’ reply when something slightly controversial might have happened during the game. Over the years though that’s changed and nowadays it’s often about finding excuses for a defeat, even though invariably that defeat has been down to his tactics and soft approach, and yesterday was no different. The second goal was 100% offside he said, there wasn’t enough additional time played and the fourth official trolled him. We couldn’t score in ninety minutes so how he thought an extra couple at the end would have made a difference I really don’t know. But as the old saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures and let’s be honest, Arsene is a desperate man looking for excuses for his continual failings.

He hasn’t got a balanced squad, he’s seriously lacking a leader or three on the pitch, he hasn’t got a proper midfield, his second string keeper is a calamity in waiting, the defence is a mess, he’s no true wingers and imo, he’s got a group of players who are spineless and far too soft. Many of us believe that’s down to him and his coaching, his ability to turn a commanding player into a guy frightened of his own shadow and a 5’ 8” Sergio Aguero. Mustafi was not only easily shoved off balance for their first goal but like Wenger, moaned about to the ref instead of getting on with what he’s meant to do. Defending! When City were in possession, our lot were walking about on the pitch as if out for a gentle Sunday afternoon stroll instead of showing determination to not only track their players but to get the ball off them. Mesut Ozil has reverted to the player he was prior to trying to earn a new £350k a week contract. The club fell for his sudden appetite to play well, as did I. The service to Aubameyang was non existent, the defending was pathetic, the midfield toothless. Everything about this Arsenal team is toothless and disorganised.

The World Cup goes ahead in the summer and many of our players will be involved. For once it might be worth watching just to see how our guys perform and I bet they’ll all be ten times better than they are for Arsenal.

I don’t believe our squad is as bad as performances and results suggest, I really don’t because over the last ten years we’ve seen plenty of change in personnel but the kind of football we’ve play has remained the same. It matters not who joins Arsenal all the time Wenger is manager because give the Frenchman a few months with them and before they know it, they too will be bottling a challenge and passing backwards, sideways or to the opposition.

Losing the final yesterday was no surprise to me at all as I fully expected it. City are the best team in England right now imo and it’s fair to say that most other sides would have lost too but the manner in which we were so easily beaten was horrible. Yesterday was like a training session for the team in blue and we didn’t even put up any kind of fight. We were second best from start to finish and I don’t even think City were at the top of their game.

We’re not going to improve, of that we can be sure and between now and the end of the season it’s likely to be just more of the same. We might win a few matches but I very much doubt the performance will improve. Any hope of top four is long gone and the thought of lifting the Europa Cup is simply a pipe dream.

Arsene Wenger’s day’s as Arsenal manager should be over because all the time he remains at the club, the days of Arsenal FC challenging to be the best, certainly are.

Thierry Henry has been quoted as saying he’d love to replace his fellow Frenchman and to be honest, I’d love him to right now. After all, he can see what we all see so surely he’d do his best to put things right.

If Zidane can at Real Madrid, why can’t Henry at Arsenal? He’d be a breath of fresh air imo and we know Josh Kroenke is a fan of his.

Food for thought perhaps…

Rico feel sorry for him? The old fart earns 10 million a year. Sheesh i ‘ll die to be in his position. Morning ma’am another great post from the HMS ricolita ??? don’t know how you do it but don’t quit on us. Don’t want WATH boring the life out of us all. Lol

  2. Goonster says:

Rico Henry as arsenal new manager?? No way jose. He has no prior experience or know how. He ‘ll be a flop. We need to go hard and get an A list manager. We don’t want another moyes kinda situation ala manure. We need to avoid being in limbo. Henry ‘ll make a wonderful assistant manager or make him join the youth set up but as our future manager??? I don’t think so.

  3. Adam says:

Morning Rico and all. Strange that it’s all been said and the feeling of creeping resignation seems to have virtually engulfed the fanbase now. Only those still supporting the Lord Wenger could disagree that it is fast turning into the nightmare some of us predicted. The only debatable point now is when and how he will leave. The idea of another season of this utter nonsense is ridiculous. I am sure the board would like to save him the indignation of the sack and that means his resignation. If that is not forthcoming then the sack it must be. Or at least him being ‘released from his duties’.
As for the future. It could be rosy with the right man in charge. Yes, there will be some blood-letting where quite a few of the players are concerned. If it turns out that they are as bad as they seem then the lack of foresight from the board is going to bite them big time. But, looking through that team yesterday gives me a shudder and a realisation that the next manager is going to have to be very, very good and be financially supported because we are going to need big changes. Massive in fact.

  4. potter says:

Wenger took over from Rioch with Graham’s defence intact. When he goes who knows what the next manager will inherit ? I see a few yeasrs of transition and it might be the catalyst for necessary change in the board room.

  5. ArsenalDK says:

Henry as manger? No. Just, no. He doesn’t even have a Pro licence, let alone experience as a manager. Zidane has much bigger credentials than him, and also manages a world class team. Maybe Henry at some point but not for at least another 5 years if you ask me.

Ozil is probably regretting having signed a new contract. Nobody on this team is playing like they believe in them selves. If Wenger has any respect and love left for the club, he’ll leave as soon as the season is over. I cannot take anymore of the “I shall respect ze contract” crap.

  6. andrewh1313 says:

Morning all, good post rico. One thing to look forward to, the feeling on here after he’s gone. We can all stop saying the same things we have said repeatedly for the last three or four years, and have excitement and optimism again. I don’t even mind if we have to go backwards to go forwards. I’ve never in all my years felt so deflated before a season starts as happened this year. It cannot go on.

  7. Wavy says:

Morning all. Morning Rico, you seem to have caught the mood of us all! Devestation, disappointment and depression. How sad is that? I haven’t felt so anti Arsenal since Billy Wright was ‘manager’. I know you should never speak ill of the dead but, he really was a clueless Mary Ellen! Sold our best players and couldn’t motivate the team except to get them on to the pitch for 90 minutes. He was utterly useless. A little like now. Every dog has its day, or so they say. Wenger walked into the club with a defence to die for, and many opponents did! I wonder if he’d inherited what we have now, back then how successful he would he have been? He got lucky with Vieira and Henry and Pires etc. Was he the necromancer who turned journeymen into world class athletes or did he just get lucky? With hindsight I think it may be the latter. The sadness is that he has traded on his early successes for more than the last 10 years. He has constructed excuse after excuse for the teams’ inability to strive for the top spot. ‘Mental strength’, ‘played with the handbrake on’, ‘we lacked a little confidence’, ,we were too casual’, etc etc. Truth is and was he has been the man with ,no plan’! And so it will continue until his reign comes to an end. In the normal world of soccer that would have been a long, long time ago, at Arsenal not so we have reached that famous Henry Ii remark, “will no one rid me of this man” We need someone to step up to the plate and sack this man very very soon, before he does even more damage.
The past was once glorious but is now just a faded memory. Since the glory days the only constant has been Wenger he took us up and now, in his dotage he is taking us down! We’ll end up worse off than when he arrived.
I wish him no harm but I do wish he would do the honourable thing and leave before he does irreparable harm to our sacred football club. History is littered with ‘lost and failed Giants’ eg. Nottingham Forest (Clough’s failure to go because he ‘knew it all’) sounds familiar doesn’t it? Newcastle, always thought they were bigger than they aren’t! Leeds gone and bankrupt, Manure post Fergie have been very poor, still are. Liverpool 20odd years in the wilderness. Wolves, a great club in the sixties nearly disappeared out of the league at one point. And so on the road to the Premiership and away from it is paved with dozens of failures and at the rate we are presently declining we will be joining them very soon, very soon indeed.
We need change, we need a bit of dynamism in and around the club, we need to pick this failing leviathan up and give it a really good shake, then we may be able to move on again and make some headway to regaining our status as one of the elite clubs. The precursor, however, to any upward momentum has to be the removal of Wenger and the employment of a new, visionary head coach with a coaching staff with vitality, vision and a rapacious appetite foe success.

Come on Arsene, time to call it a day and make way for a younger ‘tuned in’ head coach.

Snow flurries here but not settling……yet!

All errors above are due to a failing iPad and an operator who is less than careful when constructing a rant. He is also too arrogant to believe he could ever make a typo error and so never checks his works before sending! Sorry.

Should have added at the end of my contribution……End of rant….for now!

  9. TT says:

    Hi All

Henry as manager? Absolutely not! We need to get away from this anything is better than Wenger. We need a new manager but why give it to someone with no managerial experience? There are plenty of to notch coaches out there that would jump at the chance to manage Arsenal.

  10. oneill fontenelle says:

that photo of the child crying during yesterday’s match says it all….the players should be made to watch that clip over and over to see what supporting Arsenal is about….there is no spirit in the team and only a drastic change in management can change that….

  11. Le Coq Monster says:

Afternoon all and that is a great post Rico, shame Arsene doesn`t read it ……….surely there cant be any AKBs still in existence ?………….if there was, it`s not like they would want to be known !………………what can they actually talk about ?

Mustafi yesterday summed up the current Arsenal…………………gutless !………………….what an embarrassing challenge, fair enough it was against the 6ft 5″ muscle bound beast that is Aguero !……………..fcuking pussy !…………sorry Rico, but that challenge has made me see red !

Seems that every week there is something new that really pisses me off about this “new” Arsenal………….first was the team selection and performance against Forest in my favourite cup, now Mustafi`s pussyness !…………….what next ?

Need factor 50 here in Cornwall !

  12. Le Coq Monster says:

As for TH14……………………..I`d take fcuking Barry Bennell above Arsene now !……………………….was listening to TH14 on Sky this morning and he was lavishing praise on Pep, saying his attention to detail is unreal, now he clearly knows Peps training secrets and i have a sneeking suspision that TH would use them rather than Wenger`s tactical dinosaur stuff !

  13. rico says:

Afternoon guys, thanks re the post.

I wouldn’t be too disappointed if Henry replaced Wenger, at least the Wenger chain would be broken…

  14. Goonster says:

Rico you will lol. He ‘ll be mauled tactically let him go cut his teeth first in a different league and team. I don’t want his legacy to be tarnished by a sack! Get jardim or hassenhuttl but my favorite is sarri! Afternoon Ricomy head is still pounding think i over did it thanks BT

  15. allezkev says:

I’m not sure how everyone felt where I was, Entrance H, block 139, but I didn’t hear anyone sticking up for Wenger when most of the people around me were opinionating that he should go!

  16. allezkev says:

I’ve never been to an Arsenal Cup final and seen so many empty seats at our end before the finish. We left with barely 5 minutes on the clock, we heard the whistle go as we got outside the stadium and although it was crowded it was clear that hundreds had left well before the final whistle, because the crowd wasn’t anywhere as busy as it should have been.
I think that several hundred left at 2-0 and many many more on 3-0.
The worst performance by an Arsenal team in a Cup final that I’ve witnessed and I include Swindon and Ipswich in that critique.

  17. rico says:

Goonie, the difference with Henry though is he’d probably get a great team around him and he’d listen.

So would I Lee. Any change that sees Wenger gone would be good.

  18. Goonster says:

Speak for yourself Rico he still has a huge following. Just get on Twitter or go look at untold. Heck even that bottle sucking twat on arsenal fan TV ty is still vehemently Wenger in. The man is a god to these clowns. They ‘ll blame everyone but him.

  19. Goonster says:

Yo kev was there any fracas between Wenger in and Wenger out fans last night?? Heard a fight broke out between both parties.

  20. rico says:

Wavy, looking at his record of signing dreadful central defenders, without having inherited our back five, my guess is he’d have won very little. The only ‘proper’ CB he’s ever signed imo is Campbell.

  21. Adam says:

No Henry for me either. Get a top pro in with some high-end experience but the board will have to back him and that’s what worries me. Wenger is finished.

  22. rico says:

Goonie, so there might be but the percentage must be getting lower by the day.

Most of these Wenger supporters must be post 1996 fans surely.

  23. Goonster says:

Yeah his numbers are dwindling but he still has a lot of following. I ‘ll love to see a poll conducted to ascertain how much followership he still commands.

  24. Goonster says:

Besides there are a tons of fans whom are neither here nor there. They are the ones you see at the emirates. They are flakey as hell. Flip flopping every week. One week it’s “there’s only arsene Wenger ” next is “Wenger out” plus another set of fans that can’t imagine an arsenal without Wenger. They ‘ll probably commit ritual seppuku like most Japanese folks after the capitulation of their forces.

  25. Adam says:

There will always be those sort of people hanging around like a bad smell. Ask them why Wenger should stay and they’ll produce some cloying argument about all that he has done for the club and that you should be careful what you wish for. They will blame the players and Kroenke but The Lord Wenger will retain his status as an Arsenal deity. They will also tell you that the Moon landings were faked and that the mob killed Kennedy and that Jeremy Corbyn is just what the country needs.

  26. Adam says:

Rico. He could be. He certainly talks a good game. He could be another Alan Shearer too.
The board, who have living off the fat of the land for too long now, have got to get this one right. But I take your point. Henry could turn out to be the real deal.

  27. frednerk says:

    Afternoon Rico and All.
    Good post……..But.

    Feel sorry for Arsene..I don’t.
Can not stand the sight of him .anymore.

Kids crying…Done that 50 odd years ago.
    Thats football.

    Ozil……….Just back from another holiday.

    He pushed me Ref….
    Touch tight……………Wants that Arsene.

Three at the back….One 5ft midget to mark.

    Arsene is stealing money…from us.

I believe these player’s are not as bad as
    this.

  28. rico says:

Adam. But at least he cares about the club. I think he highlights so many things that so many of us do on a daily basis. I’d quite like to see him and Vieira back at the club, or Keown. The board need to get Arsenal back into Arsenal I think..

Shearer is just a git who hates us, like so many who earn a few bob for voicing the bleedin obvious..

  29. Adam says:

Rico. He obviously does care for the club but that’s not enough. I mentioned Shearer as he came into a Newcastle side on the way down as another managerial saviour who cared for the club. These days I would say we need a man whose starting point is somewhat more dispassionate. Perhaps he could let this squad know what he expects and if they didn’t do it or weren’t up to it, he could get rid of them. It seems that, according to ex-players Wenger is way too soft in his approach and as we know he has his favourites.

  30. rico says:

Afternoon Fred. I was trying to show my kind side. 😉

I detest what he’s doing, I honestly do but I guess he’s still a human being who really should have been pushed out long ago. To allow him to continue for so long whilst the standard of our football deteriorates so badly, is a disgrace.

  31. Alex says:

    Hi Rico

I am highly convinced that is not only Wenger the problem but his entire back room staff need absolute clearance.

That require significant amount of money to invest hence Kronke is happy……..so ….ya …….just get used it is what it is.

  32. rico says:

Ah yes, I forgot that short stint Adam. Similar could be said of Neville.

I guess things have got so bad that even Big Sam seems a better option. Josh likes Henry though doesn’t he?

  33. rico says:

Hi Alex. When Wenger goes, I’m sure they’ll go. Just as I’m sure that when we all say ‘Wenger’, we mean him and his little yes men…

Talking of which, who else would get an ex keeper on his coaching team but not get him working with our keepers…?

  34. allezkev says:

Rico, I guess I almost stayed till end out of a mixture of disbelief and a feeling that I or the club won’t be going back to Wembley for a long long time and I wanted to get as much as I could out of it, which in truth wasn’t a lot.

  35. allezkev says:

No Stan, I didn’t see any fracas, not where I was, everyone was just stunned, kind of beaten down by the awfulness of what they were witnessing, so no, I didn’t see anything like Potter mentioned, most Arsenal fans seem almost indifferent to it now.

I think that the lack of action by our owner and Board has driven a wedge between the fans and the club, there’s a lot of previously passionate fans who have given up on Arsenal and found other things to do on match days, even if the club at this late stage, suddenly springs into action and make changes, many of those fans will be lost to the club for good.

  36. Alex says:

    Agree Rico

To cleanse that back staff how costly is financially ?
Are this guys sublet by Wenger from his annual salary ?

  37. frednerk says:

    I know Rico..

    On the backroom staff opinion.
Arsene is and has always been
    a control freak.I know Banfield
    from my playing days,and as
for Bouldy,I can assure you guy’s
these two are tough, and in no way
    represent The Wengerball approach.

  38. Lee says:

Surely Josh doesn’t need to take his shoes and socks off to work out what the fucking problem is?? I reckon he may not need to delve into Arsenal’s woes for a whole 3 months!!

  39. allezkev says:

Rico, taking the football out of it, I had a lovely time yesterday, had some great laughs, a couple of drinks and a good meal afterwards.

Most Arsenal fans who still go, are well aware of our current state, where we are in the food chain, I mean Tottenham are a club who know where they’re going or at least have a vision of where they want to be, Liverpool are flying under Klopp, the Scouse fans must be loving the football they’re watching, Man City are brilliant, how good must it be to be a City fan right now, Chelsea are in limbo but they’ve won the EPL a couple of times in recent seasons so their situation isn’t too bad, Man Utd are not in a good place with that psycho in charge, but if it goes tits up they’ll act only Arsenal continue to drift.

  40. allezkev says:

Fred, from the outside of course, but with more of an idea than most, if a new manager came in, in your opinion, what members of the coaching staff would the new man retain and how many do you think need replacing?

  41. frednerk says:

Take for example Fat Sam Kev,
has about 50 who work for him.
The term Managers or Coaches has
    changed,the way it’s done.
Impossible for me to know personality
    wise,who get’s on with who.

  42. rico says:

I don’t think Josh is over here to find out about the club, I reckon he’s here on behalf of daddy to work with Ivan on a deal for a new manager…

Kev, all was not so bad then, just the football… 😉

  43. allezkev says:

Well Josh is here for 3 months Rico, in 3 months time the season will be finished.
    Work it out?

That’s when the club will be changing manager, all the stars are aligning.

Allegri for me, if not then Ancelotti.

  44. Lee says:

Dr Lee also prescribes strong European lager, Peroni, Stella or Moretti BUT if the Ruby route is followed Cobra or Kingfisher!

  45. allezkev says:

Nah Lee, we found a really nice Turkish restaurant, worth a visit next time we get to Wembley, whenever that will be?

Tea mate, that’s my medicine ?

  46. Goonster says:

Rico your 5.51???? untold and arsenal arsenal blog are the” AKBiest” arsenal blog out there. Those guys are surely sniffing on something but it’s not coke????evening good people.

  47. Goonster says:

Really ??? the tides are turning then Rico. Atwood probably knows the game is up for his “Lord Wenger ” ooh happy day ?

  48. Goonster says:

Still read a few post on Twitter saying he’s the best man for the job Rico. You just can’t change their minds even with overwhelming evidence that the current funk we ‘re in is cause of Wenger. They just won’t see it. It’s either Wenger or no one for them. Wonder if they ‘ll stop supporting the team after their dear leader fucks off.

  49. Goonster says:

This is the man for the job Rico. He’s bringing out the best in cast aways and duds like calejon imagine what he do with players like ozil auba and lacasette. We all thought last season was a fluke even after losing his best player to juve but alas he’s ontop of the serie A table and playing the best football in Europe. Unlike pep, Maureen and those ilk who are cheque book managers this guy can work on a tight and limited budget. He ‘ll get this lot firing again. I hope and pray he’s on the shortlist to replace Wenger.

  50. Goonster says:

Lol Rico I want him. He reminds me of a younger arrigo sacchi less pragmatic but the same set up. God Rico if we get him we ‘ll win the league in his second season and probably challenge Europe for the CL!!! am that confident.

  51. Goonster says:

Don’t get me wrong anyone ‘ll do especially the A list managers like allegri Simone tuchel etc but I ‘ll rather take a punt on an unknown quantity like sarri hassenhuttl and nagelsmann! These guys are not that widely known around Europe. We could spring a surprise on the pl.

  52. micko says:

A bit like witnessing Brazil’s Ronaldo when he got fat !!! cheered me up a lickle bit rico……..thanks matey, cheers Wrighty !

  53. Goonster says:

Rico if we get Tony pubis it won’t be worse than what we currently have. We won’t concede goals like the ones we shipped yesterday that’s for sure. Wenger out pulis in????

  54. micko says:

Stan, if I wanted to watch the Harlem Globetrotters route to goal every other week I’d support the Boston Celtic’s lol !!!

Nite mate, nite rico, nite Gooners ! Keep the faith.

  55. frednerk says:

Potter,,Touch tight goal side for defenders,
ball watching is what we have and gaps,
    no tucking in..Crazy

    Rico..Banfield/Bouldy..Money what else
    can it be.
These jobs don’t come around, down hill
    after this.

Kev..Only time we saw Yens was with Arsene
in the stands..What he was doing is anyones
    guess.
Never been a fan of his..Cry-Baby.

  56. allezkev says:

Jardim, Low and, make sure your sitting down, Brendan Rodgers are the three candidates being touted as Wenger’s replacement, Brendan fcuking Rodgers, you couldn’t make it up, why not throw in Alan Pardew and Tim Sherwood to really give us all a right chuckle…

Typical Arsenal, cheap n cheerful, bring in someone who isn’t likely to want a lot of dough to rebuild, think about the profits, there you have it, life under Kroenke – enjoy….

Fcuk it, fcuk the lot of them, fcuking useless.

  57. Goonster says:

Lol kev Brendan Rodgers ???? that can’t be right. The first 2 would do especially jardim but Rodgers??? That’s gotta be banter. No fucking way we are taking in a Liverpool reject AK. Nah someone is yanking your chain my man. Brendan Rodgers he says hahahahahah. Morning Rico and all.

  58. Goonster says:

Just heard ian Wright on 5 live podcast. You don’t believe your ears guys. Players even the young up coming ones stroll into training late. Some don’t even bother showing up. Arsenal had to send people to go bring them to training others feign sickness. Lord God in heaven and we wonder why they all prance around like fairies princesses during games. That’s the problem. We have no manager but a father figure and a bad one at that! My dad ‘ll smash my face in if I don’t get off my ass at 6am in the morning. Damn we ‘re really truly fucked rico.

  59. Lee says:

Brendan Fucking Rodgers………..please please no! His boat is as taught as a drum and he’s got matching railings with Firmino!

  60. Goonster says:

Lee that’s gotta be someone taking the piss out of us all. Brendan Rodgers ‘ll take us back to the dark ages. No fucking way.

  61. Goonster says:

Calm down Rico??? Are you kidding? No offence to the Scottish league but we need someone from a more competitive league. He’s smashing the spl yes but who are the opposition?? Aberdeen, rangers, Plymouth argyle, Dundee United??? No freaking way we ‘re considering Rodgers as our new manager. There ‘ll be riot in the stands. Hey maybe it’s a good thing. We ‘ll finally have a united fan base and kick this yank cnut out of our dear club. Cause trust me the AKBs won’t stand for Rodgers and neither will we!

  62. potter says:

Not Brendan Rodgers please , we need to forward not slip further back, relegation fight at Watford , the disasters at Reading and Swansea , took Liverpool to the dizzy heights of 10th got sacked and went to a safe house at Celtic where it is more difficult to lose the league than win it. Just not the right man for the fans to instill hope . The board however are a different bunch.

  63. Adam says:

Morning Rico and all. There’s bound to be lots of speculation over the new manager, if indeed he is on the horizon. There seems to be no exit strategy in place for Arsene though and I doubt he can be looking forward with any great glee to Thursday evening and facing the home crowd.
    It’s a bloody mess really.
But what a plumb job for an ambitious manager.
