Arsenal linked to England international man.

Morning all.

The buildup to the England v Scotland match was far more exciting than the performance England produced last night and even that was tedious. Scotland were all about hard work and playing with pride in my opinion, whilst England seemed to huff and puff their way through 90 minutes of football. A bright start from the home team, a Jon Stones header onto the post was was about the best it got. Kane was awful, absolutely awful.

Perhaps the England players are simply knackered after what’s been a tough Premier League season in which so many fixtures were crammed into eight months instead of ten. It’s the best opportunity the country has had in a while to do really well in a major competition but for those not involved, it’s a chance to spend some free time on Australia Online Casino Sites

On Tuesday night at 8pm, England face group leaders Czech Republic and Scotland play Croatia. Any two of the four can still progress into the knockout stage. A draw for England would see Gareth Southgate’s team progress.

The worst case scenario for Arsenal would be Scotland thrashing Croatia and England beating the Czech Republic because if my maths is right, both Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka would remain in the competition but at least Saka isn’t playing. That might soon change though if Southgate decides he wants a bit more flair in his attacking department.

Three more fixtures today:

Hungary v France
Portugal v Germany
Spain v Poland

Arsenal are on the verge of tying Kieran Tierney down to a new five-year deal, according to reports on NN yesterday which is great news if true. Hopefully we’ll soon hear that Emile Smith Rowe is to do the same and for what it’s worth, I think he will. Whilst waiting for such good news, why not go to real money casinos.

The Sun reckon Arsenal have identified the man to replace Steve Bould and that’s Kevin Betsy. Probably not a name too familiar in the world of football but he’s currently the England Under 18’s head coach. He’s played the game for Woking, Bournemouth, Hull City, and Barnsley but his finest moments were probably with Fulham in 1999 and 2001 when his team finally secured promotion to the Premier League. He only managed one fixture in the PL, with it becoming the first Seychellois to do so before moving on to pastures new. His coaching career has only been with the England youth teams.

I’m sure if Arsenal offered him the job he’d soon be packing his cones and balls up and moving to north London because working with a squad on a daily basis must be every young coach’s dream. I’d love Freddie to return but I guess that’s not going to happen otherwise he’d probably be back by now.

I’ll leave you with a clip of yet another, yawn, player Arsenal have been linked with this summer.

What a run!

See you in the comments.

Good news, if it’s true, about Tierney and a new five-year contract, I just hope he can grow out of injury problems.
To conflicting reports this morning highlight the unreliability of so-called insiders. According to 90min, Arsenal are ready to spend £250 on five players this summer. While over at Eurosport Arsenal are struggling to fund the purchase of elite players. They can’t both be right, can they?
Guendouzi has agreed personal terms with Marseille and discussions over the transfer fee are on-going according to Fabrizio Romano.
Watford are working on a bid for Maitland-Niles, if you believe The Mirror.
Arsenal will make another bid to sign 22-year-old Lyon and France midfielder Houssem Aouar and are preparing a £100,000-a-week contract offer. That must be true as it’s in The Sun.

Site’s been up the wall again today probably hiding from the comments on England ‘s performance. Or lack of it.
However here we are and probably the best thing will be for both England And Scotland to go out and get Tierney and Saka on the beach somewhere.
Still I think it’s either or I can’t see the equation for both.

Southgate is scared of his shadow and will not take a risk , the sooner he is managing Tottenham the better.

    Morning Rico and all
Just watched Hungary v France disappointing to see fans ( looked like France ) throwing bottles of water at the players

  4. rico says:

Good afternoon Cicero, Potter, Geoff and all.

HH crashed for me today too.

Watford would be a good move for AMN, at least he’s likely to play. Not Aoura again… The journos do lack imagination sometimes.

Disappointed Hungary didn’t hold on to win..

  5. rico says:

I wouldn’t shed a tear if England and Scotland were knocked out. Neither look like they’re likely to win in. The Czech will beat England if they play like last night imo.

Southgate hasn’t been the same since he ditched his waistcoat… lol

    Good afternoon everyone

Site was bananas today even here Rico. It kept telling me that it was not a safe site. ~Maybe the server was still reeling from two failed points yesterday.

England were crap yesterday. And the reason is that an underperforming Harry Kane is more serious to England than a regular underperforming player, by simple dint of the fact that their entire system is essentially built around him. This is Kane’s team, and arguably has been for most of Southgate’s five years. And it simply shows that Kane is a flat track bully. Is he as much as good as they make out?? Is it good for a national team to concentrate on just one player to produce the goods and build a team around him?? We all know that answer.

Ronaldo, at the tender age of 36 has just scored to break his record of goals scored in the Euros. And this time its against Germany. Were will Kane be at the age of 36?? who knows….maybe having a beer somewhere and trying to remember when was the last time he cleaned a trophy he won with the spuds!!! In the meantime Ronaldo has said he will play till he is 40 at least.

  7. Sue says:

Hi Rico.. Didn’t think last night would live up to the hype, and what a wet lettuce Southgate is 😂
Watching Portugal – nice smash ‘n grab from Ronaldo! What a player, he’ll still be going when he’s 50!!

  8. rico says:

Arsenal defender Zech Medley will join Belgian side K.V. Oostende on a permanent transfer, football.london understands.

The 20-year-old centre back, who spent last season on loan at Gillingham and Kilmarnock, is expected to head to Belgium in the coming days, with the Gunners inserting a sell-on clause in the deal and having first option on the player if he leaves Oostende

  9. rico says:

Hi Sue, it was a stinker wasn’t it.

Devil, Rashford wasn’t much better either. So much talent out there for England but they just lacked imagination. Reminded me of Arsenal pre Christmas.

Ronaldo is a freak of nature . I mean that in a kind way.

  10. Devilgunner says:

Rico, the playing style of England needs to be changed. And that is down to the management and coaching of the national team.

Would you have Rashford playing for Arsenal?? I would. no question about that. He is a good footballer with the right attitude. But maybe he is not used well.

Kane on the other hand is a good scorer…but is very much over rated.

  11. Aussie Geoff says:

Rico totally agree with you about Rinaldo I like him more than Messi
Germany 4 Portugal 2 shame Portugal kicked 2 own goals

  12. Sue says:

They’re all brave shaking hands with Scratch ‘n Sniff (aka Joachim Low), god only knows where those fingers have been 😂

  13. Cicero says:

Going to bed at 4am Geoff, bloody hell you’ll have to get up again in a couple of hours mate.

  14. Cicero says:

That’s a beauty Sue, did you know that Joachim Lowe as a young man had a citizen’s band handle? Betty Swallocks. 😷

  15. rico says:

Devil, if they’d have put the goal scoring opportunities away in both the last two games, things would be quite different I think.

  16. potter says:

Told that Nathan Patterson at Rangers is a young right back to watch. Just got into the Scotland squad 19/20 years old . See if he plays in our pre season friendly .
