Morning all.

It’s the NLD weekend and there’s only one place to start….

Come on, they always have been and always will be, regardless of what happens tomorrow. As for ever winning the Premier League, well last season they truly blew their best ever chance. Ironic that Chelsea are mentioned in the above video clip because the match between them and the Totts ended in a draw which well and truly killed off their hopes of achieving something which they’d never done before.

Not only that though, we, The Arsenal, crept in and sneaked second place, assuring that yet again, we finished ahead of them in the the league. Not that that was much to shout about because we still finished miles behind Leicester.

But as far as North London bragging rights go, we came out on top, yet again…..!

If I was Arsene Wenger, I’d tell someone to get at Ali from the off, be strong, be hard and be physical against him at the first opportunity. Be fair of course but just wind him up from the off because he’s always good for a red card. Same with Wanyama, he’s a dirty git. Let him/them be the baddies in this derby, not us!

We hate them, they hate us and that will never ever change and I reckon tomorrow will be an absolute cracker of a game. Both sides have feisty players, players who regardless of where they were born, know exactly what this game means to the fans.

Alexis Sanchez:

It’s going to have everything. It’ll be a high-intensity match with plenty of hustle and bustle. I’ve played them a few times now and the first time I didn’t know what to expect. They told me I had to start strong, and I remember I got taken out early on but then told myself that wouldn’t happen again.

We like to dominate possession and pass the ball around, but we’ll have to be wise to the counter-attack.

Absolutely [yes, fans do come up to me and say to win this game], it’s a game that they want to see us win at all costs. They’re a massive rival. My team-mates and I will leave everything on the pitch.

The Arsenal fans are amazing supporters and that really helps me to perform well and I want to give them something to celebrate.

I hope the other ten/twelve players feel the same….

    Nice post Rico. As we all know in this fixture, form counts for nothing. As you so rightly said lets hope all the players are up for this game.
    Hope it’s a cracker. I am going for a 2-1 win.

    Harry kane this,Harry kane that.Hopefully they might bring him on in the 81st minute when they are 4-0 down.

    I have some great and bad memories of recent games at Home .Remember Fabregas(soon to be dumped by chelsea) scoring straight from the kick off in the second half.

    Bentley the greatest footballer that ever lived volleying from 30 plus yards but Bedtner coming on as a sub and straight from the corner as he came on he noffed in the winner.

    Having said all that any news about the injured ?.

    When we drew with Middlesboro it wasn’t that they were organized but we were not ruthless enough. Well I guess the same goes for City because they’re holding their own against City. And the City goal came because the CBs fell asleep.

    Just shows what a funny game football is !…………….at half time I nlooked on BBC and Mansour City had somethinng like 18 shots and 78% possession and `Boro had no shots whatsoever !
    Tommorow I will take 1% possession, 1 shot on goal and a one nill win !. 🙂

    To late to warn my chef mate then about the nippyness !………………he left Charlestown ( The Cornish one ) at 2am this morning to drive to Plymouth for a coach to Victoria !

    I cant stand the stress of this game and will record the whole game, be in media lockdown then ask my wife whether we won or not ?………………if we win I will watch the game “live” without knowing the score in a stress free environment !……….although I cant do anything about the 2 hours of stress when the game is being played !……..draw or lose and I wont watch !……..yes !, I`m mad ! hahaha

    Problem is I suffer from Benign Essential Tremor ( hands shake etc`) and although not a problem in a normal day, being stressed makes it worse and a day like today trying to watch live will just make me shake like a human vibrator ! 😆

    Have to say Chelsea were very impressive last night,glad we got one of their matches out of the way.What a transformation from the team we thrashed.

    So NLD finally arrives and will form go out of the window.The team with the meanest defence playing us who score 75% more than they do.It has been stated Kane and Dembele are fit but not sure about Cazorla for us.It’s always a nervous game for both sides but let’s hope Home advantage really counts and Ozil and Sanchez keep delivering and will Giroud start.
    The game may possibly be won by team selection and when to sub.Hopefully a win for us otherwise a fortnight is a long time to brew.

    I welcome any thoughts on what you guys think will be our best line up.We had an extra day to rest from the CL but exerted more energy than we thought pre match and Spurs were absolutely dreadful at Wembley.

    Yes i know New Post up Rico 😉
