£40M offer for Suarez going in, defender departs & it's all getting rather tedious and quite childish……..

Morning all,

Has there ever been such a tedious transfer window….?

Jose bids for Rooney, Arsene says we can afford his wages and wham. Jose suddenly wants Higuain and all no doubt because, he thinks Arsene Wenger has been desperately trying to sign him..

This latest twist smacks of someone, somewhere leaking a fabricated story to the press just to cheese off Arsene Wenger…

Maybe it came from Chelsea, after all, how many times have they pipped us to a player?

Cahill, Mata, Hazard, even Shaun Wright-Phillips a few years ago. Lazy scouting maybe, or simply a case of money talks..

Regardless, it seems to me that this latest story about Higuain is all about the ex Chelsea manager upping the price of Higuian and making sure Real do us no favours whatsoever. Just as the ‘Higuain plus money’ offer to Liverpool leaked to the media….

Wenger isn’t innocent either, he’s waded in when he’s felt fit to do so…..

Surely now it’s time to stop all the game playing and get down to some serious business…

Higuain is not worth £37 million, the price quoted in the press so if that’s what Real are aiming for, forget him, move on. Other strikers are available.

If Arsenal are serious about either Rooney or Suarez, then go all out to sort one, or both out asap, don’t sit back and let others beat us to it. Find out if both want to join us, if they don’t and we are just being used in a bidding war, move onto a different player as we can’t afford to get to the end of the transfer window having signed no-one as all our time and effort was spent chasing shadows……….

Talking of Suarez, John Cross, who is in Japan with the squad, well not actually ‘with’ them all, but he’s covering our tour for the Daily Mirror. He writes ‘Arsene Wenger has been given the go-ahead to spend £40 million on Luis Suarez’. Suarez’s agent, Pere Guardiola, has stated that that amount triggers a release clause in Suarez contract and Liverpool have conceded they would have to listen.

Rogers however has said that £55 million wouldn’t get the Liverpool man. Somehow I doubt that is true….

We’ll see of the next few days I guess…..

Moving on, and Andre Santos has done just that. Reports suggest he’s gone and gone for good having come to an agreement with Arsenal to cancel his contract. He’s joined Flamengo. Never heard of them and I really don’t care either…

Now for Park and Chamakh to follow…..

Have a good day all, enjoy whatever it is you are up to…

Oh dear, some people just really need to get out more don’t they….

    Morning to everyone else…..

  2. Mark Tuite says:

I have a fear we are going to end up with nobody again I believe we are trying to sign players but our strategy has to change we have to start doing our buissiness far quicker we are only a couple of top players away from having a chance to contend its pretty frustrating being a gooner atm.

  3. rico says:

Moyes maintains that Rooney is not for sale and he hopes to find out about Cesc in the next 24 hours…

  4. Scott from Oz says:

    Your turn George.
Write tomorrows post you tosser 🙂
    Morning guys.
I see “moi” is back, Rico 🙂

  5. C Hills says:

Morning all. Greatest saga ever, the transfer window. Hollywood should watch and learn.
Why is no one talking about moving Bendtner on?

  6. Adam says:

Yet another source say we are signing Bernard from Brazil. He is 5 foot 5 inches and that makes him a full 6 inches taller than Mourinho who I foresee is going to be twice as venomous and bitter this time around.

  7. devilgunner says:

your posts are always a bit of fresh air Rico. No speculation or invention.

    Just reality.

George Georgiou……you should do YOUR homework as well. Its not grammatically right to say you’re homework. That means you are homework.

When you say something which is owned by someone its YOUR.

    Geddit???

Go and do YOUR correction mate. Otherwise you will do it for 20 times till your hands bleed blue blood.

Ahhhh I forgot. I managed to drag myself to go and buy the bread.

  8. W.A.T.H says:

What does Moyes hope to find out about Cesc I wonder…
Yes he plays for Barcelona you twat and we have first option to buy him back…!

  9. rico says:

Bloomin Flamengo, the biggest club in Brazil. Some people really don’t have a sense of humour do they, just like Santos has to be one of the biggest Brazilians in football……

  10. W.A.T.H says:

Santos, ain’t that the team who that fella what’s his name Peel played for back in the day… AK will know..!

  11. rico says:

    Duncan/Devil – 🙂

Welcome to those joining HH today, hope you bring a sense of humour with you…

Scott, I am having a ‘blonde’ morning 😉

  12. devilgunner says:

    What is a metrosexual Adam???

Someone who has a meter long tackle??? 😉

Or someone who is fast as a metro train during performances? 😆

  13. W.A.T.H says:

I think a bit of Boltox would make Moyes less of a grumpy looking miserable shit but on the other hand I really don’t care… Does he think Cesc will do a flamenco (no pun intended Rico) dance for him..?

  14. kel says:

Good news about santos at least he and denilson, came to an agreement on cancelling there contracts, and moved on, unlike bendtner who has openly said he wont play for Arsenal again, yet wont fcuking leave. Anyhow if we are to sign 1 from Rooney, suarez, Higuain, who do we want??

  15. rico says:

Man City have all but bought the PL title I suspect… Well, if they can learn to defend….

4 top strikers, keeping them all happy will be hard 😉

  16. Adam says:

Wath. Take a look at Moyes since he became MU manager. He is either still shocked or has had Botox in his forehead. Not as much as Carol V obviously.

  17. rico says:

    😆 Wath..

Moyes just doesn’t look comfortable in an interview yet…. He just talked about how he is going to make Wellbeck a better finisher. Bet that will boost the players morale…

  18. devilgunner says:

Once upon a time……..there was a police named Adam.

He was walking along the river one day when he chanced upon a Lady who was in a boat reading a book and beside her there were a rod and some fishing tackle.

“Excuse me madam. But you know its prohibited to fish in this river. I am sorry but I have to arrest you.”

“Sir” said the lady. “I am only reading not fishing. That belongs to my husband”

“But you have the tackle in the boat and that is reason enough.”

“Sir, if you do that I will accuse you of rape!”

“Now madam. Do not try to blackmail me because anyone can see that I have not touched you.”

“I know constable,” she said. “But you have the tackle to rape me so I will accuse you of rape.”

PC Adam had to sit down to recollect his wits and muse about the effect of his hard tackle

  19. Kelvin oghorodi says:

Morinoh is nothing but a dog, who trace others with his noose. Higuain, suarez, roony, are all there for him he should go and get them all. Wenger has absolutely nothing to ague with him, we has money to spend and i know we’ll do absolutely well, the league will decide itself.

  20. Jay says:

Morning all ,the sun is shining ,too warm to work ,so the 2nd test is order of the day .The bad news is we still havent signed anyone of note.Anyone know what has happened to gervinho ?he seems to have disappeared. Is he not on tour?

  21. Tesh01 says:

Hi good morning fellow gooners the transfer is getting heated now and still we have no signings yet, still I’m patient cause I know we have to strengthen the squad and winger knows that too Suarez would be my choice over Rooney and higuian also a DM is needed and a CB also winger and keeper possibility another playmaker or promote eisfield/zaleleum what a player the latter of the two but a few more players to make up the squad and we are ready for that push

  22. Bradster says:

Shew, need to put in sub notes explaining your jokes Rico and perhaps a disclaimer too. 🙂

Never seen a manager that gets so worked up by us like Jose. Even before he went back to Chelsea he spits vile about Arsenal.

So he’ll try hijack all the deals we are trying for. Have a dozen strikers and sell Torres for pittens to another team than sell to us.

  23. rico says:

Ha ha Bradster, you might be right…

Spot on re Jose, he really hates us and our manager, funny really. Jealous maybe…

  24. devilgunner says:

I have a feeling that although we all enjoyed that UNBEATEN season, it has made us more enemies than we bargained for. Hence that is why Sir Red Nose, Jose, the press and everyone seem to hate us.

  25. devilgunner says:

Everyone used to hate us and love the scum. However after that season, the jealousy level have gone up a hundred notches.

  26. Bradster says:

Perhaps wenger needs to apply for his British citizenship. Then he can say what he wants to the refs, linesmen, press and players and they’ll all love him.

  27. rico says:

Agree devil, they are jealous of what we have achieved and because AW has kept us in top 4 without breaking the bank… And of course our stadium and other facilities no doubt…

  28. Canadian Gooner says:

Good Morning to the Lady of the House and fellow Gooners.

Rico – You seem to have stirred up a hornet’s nest this morning. It has been a while since so many posters have had a bug up their arse. Is that a mixed metaphor Adam? Some people are a little too sensitive.

A good honest articl btw. Now back to read the rest of the comments, well the less sensitive ones anyway.

  29. ktr7 says:

Good read rico.Barca VP has categorically ruled out any sale for cesc.he has said they are not even willing to look at offers.

  30. Canadian Gooner says:

Adam – Your 9:55 am was a bit abrupt, but spot on. NB52 has to be the biggest non-story this TW.

  31. Canadian Gooner says:

It seems aome of our short tempered posters have brought out the comedian in many of us.

DG – I know your the football coach. I didn’t know you were also the English master at the Academy.

  32. rico says:

Morning Cg, thanks – I think many are getting frustrated with the lack of action in the window. I know I am, despite trying to remain positive and calm…

    Thanks Kt, good re CF

  33. Canadian Gooner says:

Rico – Our more sensitive posters have done us all a service. Instead of ticking us off, they have inspired our inner comedians. The result is some good jokes and good humour to lift the pall of boredom, frustration, resignation and tedium of the transfer window to date.

  34. devilgunner says:

Rico do like I do………..get a saucepan and whack them a couple of hard whacks.

Do you know that a saucepan is one of the most lethal weapons which the law cannot accuse you of using.

If you knife someone you will be accused of having a pointed weapon intended to kill.

If you have a fire arm you will be accused of owning a gun.

Likewise if you use a fork or any pointed object.

But a saucepan is round, has a flat surface, does not cut and it has a BLOODY BIG SURFACE AREA and its DAMNED HARD. So they cannot say that is pointed or sharp edged or fire arm.

  35. devilgunner says:

And when you hit someone I do like the BOING sound it produces. So hitting someone just for the fun of hearing its music is GRRRREEEAAATTTTTT.

  36. Bradster says:

How reliable is ESPN regarding transfers? I see they say we’re tabling a 21m deal for Bernard. How good is this guy really? I only saw glimpses during the confed cup.

  37. devilgunner says:

Now this is someone I would really like…….

Arsenal are considering a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo with the German giants ready to him go.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is currently working on bringing a big name striker to the Emirates Stadium, with Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain among his targets.

But the Frenchman is also looking to strengthen in other areas, and Brazilian utility man Gustavo is being seen as a man who would help fill gaps in several problem positions.

Arsenal primarily see Gustavo as a defensive midfield option, but he can also play in central defence and at full-back – providing key cover.

Wenger is yet to make his interest fully known, but it’s thought that Arsenal could offer up to £8million to bring the 25-year-old to the Premier League.

Bayern have not ruled out hanging onto the player for another 12 months, but reports in Germany suggest they are ready to let him go if the price is right.

Wolfsburg and Brazilian side Corinthians are also keen on Gustavo, but it’s thought that the midfielder wants to stay in Europe with a Champions League club.

Gustavo has two years left on his Bayern contract.

  38. C Hills says:

Good day everyone. Been held up by all work and no play.
Time is 12:30 in nigeria as I type, Adam.

  39. Scott from Oz says:

Who needs size to intimidate an opponent when your name is Bernard??
Apologies to any HH members sharing that name 🙂

  40. Joaquim Moreira says:

Never heard Clube Regatas Flamengo? The popular Fla?
Probably is not the biggest club in Brazil (maybe Corinthians from S. Paulo) but it’s the biggest in Rio de Janeiro. Flamengo is not only a football club. Very importante in others sports like rowing, swimming,Basket, volleybal, etc
However, every good Arsenal fan must support Vasco da Gama 😉
No new signs and Stevan Jovetic, one of the names include and linked in the summer approaches of HH, could be rubber.
It’s time to run for others players, no?

  41. ktr7 says:

he is an interesting player for sure but am concerned if he can adapt to this league.there is no question about his ability.

  42. Scott from Oz says:

Sssshhhh everyone, Emma is back 🙂
CH, i bet he is not as good with it as Devil though lol

  43. Joaquim Moreira says:

Bernard is a good player, no doubts about that.
He is able to adapt to Arsenal football what it’s completely diferent to be able to adpat to english football.

  44. Canadian Gooner says:

Scott – At 5’5″ Bernard isn’t exactly Bernard Bresslaw though. However, we have have seen some short Brazillians do very well in England.

  45. C Hills says:

Don’t know, emma. Can’t be arsed to even find out. Arsene will sign whoever he wants to, not who the media says we should.

  46. emma says:

I doubt we are in for him. Probably the dippers(LFC). Good player though but we need to watch a fullmatch to know how good he is and not a youtube video

  47. C Hills says:

Adam, in answer to your last question in yesteday’s post, I do sleep for @ 5 hours a night.

  48. W.A.T.H says:

Seems to be a bit of truth coming from Brazil Emma that we are interested but then again you could say we are interested in many decent players it’s do we follow through with an enquiry and then an offer… That’s the question.

  49. Adam says:

TS. An interesting question. I don’t know really. Perhaps a phrase like ” hyper-literate” might cover it?

  50. Adam says:

CH. Fascinating. I was somewhat surprised to realise that West Africa is in the same time-zone as ourselves. I always thought it was farther East. Must be the Mercator projection on the maps I look at. Five hours sleep seems quite a small amount.

  51. emma says:

WATH – I am not disputing the fact it can’t be true. I don’t see us needing another AM when we have Rosicky, Wilshere, Ox, Cazorla and probably Suarez/Shriek. Our priority is to get a DM/Box-Box cause that’s where we are currently lacking

  52. devilgunner says:

Hmmmm. being interested in is far different than going for a player.

When I was young I was interested a lot in……..Sam Fox, Kathy lloyd, Sabrina Salerno etc etc etc

But I never managed to get around asking them out. My old Pa would surely have had a fit…… 😉

  53. tsgh says:

That will do…Adam.Except the literate part puts a positive spin on the disorder or syndrome.lol

Its like a bin man calling himself a sanitary engineer

  54. Canadian Gooner says:

emma – I think Bernard is a winger and would be a replacement for Gervinho, if and when we sell him.

  55. W.A.T.H says:

He’s supposed to be a winger though Emma not a central midfielder come attacking midfielder…!

  56. tsgh says:

Cg,do we need another player whose legs are faster than their left hand side of the brain?lol

Serge can adequately replace Gerv, not that a lot of fans rated him in the first place.
I m with Emma on this one their are so very decent DM we can get for that £20M report.Camacho, malula,Wetsel,MF,Capoue…

  57. C Hills says:

Adam, still a student, doing my industrial training @ the mo. Greenwich Meridian cuts right through Ghana.
Yea, we don’t need an AM but wouldn’t mind cesc.

  58. Adam says:

FFP looks dead in the water. I thought that you could lose up to £38 million over 3 years. Still, with David Gill involved in its implementation perhaps Man City will surely fail to qualify as they would probably lose more than that every six months. If MC pass the test then it must be a complete waste of time.

  59. emma says:

CH – Sorry to burst your bubbles I wouldn’t want Cesc back. He is already home and if he wants to join manure let him be my guest

  60. Lee says:

    Umbongo signed yet?
I see the currant bun has cooked some people’s brains….dick head central earlier!!!
What a bummer, I was due to fly to Spain tonight but have to fly to Glasgow for a funeral tomorrow morning. 🙁

  61. C Hills says:

Higuain to arsenal = FFP = A dying ember.
Cesc hasn’t expressed any desire to join Manure, emma.

  62. Adam says:

Bradster. She was an enormously talented singer though. 🙂 Much in the same vein as Cheryl Cole nee Tweedy.

  63. BigSanty says:

It all beat my imagination showing how DM news credibility has been going down -C-Hills. Its simple they don’t do their research properly before going online with their news. Poor journalism…

  64. Lee says:

Yeah Adam, my father in law’s wife, diagnosed with brain tumour in September passed away on Tuesday morning…..67 yrs old! No age at all…….. 🙁

  65. Adam says:

The momentum for implementing FFP will come from the clubs. Platini is sinking a bottle of Latour ’61 as we speak and eating a Gooses liver. Not paid for by him obviously.

  66. Bradster says:

It was my sister’s music interest back then. I only saw the poster of her on the wall.
Too right Devil, they took up most of the poster.

  67. C Hills says:

Good day Lee. Sorry to hear that. Cancer is a hydra headed evil.
Research doesn’t sell papers, sensationalism does, BigS.

  68. Lee says:

Got to live your life to the full mate!
Anyways it’s a football blog, is Suarez going to happen? I think he’d score buckets of goals for us!

  69. C Hills says:

Platini is becoming very much like Blatter, dancing around important but, controversial issues. Why implement FFP when UEFA will somehow benefit from the inordinate spending.

  70. Canadian Gooner says:

Lee – I think Suarez could happen if Arsenal bid £40 million. It depends on who else, if anyone, bids and how much Liverpool are willing to risk being stuck with a disgruntled player. I can’t see Rogers talking him into staying.

  71. W.A.T.H says:

CG, Suarez has made it clear he wants to leave as you say as we well know what’s the point in keeping a disgruntled player?. Move him on and bring in a new player that is sensible..!

  72. Canadian Gooner says:

CH – UEFA will benefit more from the introduction of FFP, if properly instituted. The biggest cash cow for UEFA is the European Champions League. FFP will level the playing field for all clubs throughout Europe. Right now, for the most part, it is the same roster of teams in the knockout stages of the Champions League. If more teams had a realistic chance, it could generate more viewer interest from outside England, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Also, there is no benefit to UEFA if more teams go into receivership or administration. If it happens enough, it would causes chaos in affiliated national leagues. With FFP the ‘large’ clubs would have more competition and would not be as powerful. It was only a few year ago that these same clubs, Arsenal included, were talking about setting-up their own Atlantic League. UEFA bought them off by offering a greater share of the Champions League TV rights. Many clubs in Spain and to a lesser degree Italy are already in financial difficulty. The introduction of petro dollars and oligarchs pilferred rubles into football has skewed the competiveness of many leagues and teams. We no longer see the likes of Celtic (Scotland), Ajax (Netherlands) of Porto (Portugal); all teams who have won the ECL or its predecessors in the past, making it to the later stages or the finals. It is difficult or impossible to build competitive teams when financially doped teams can swoop in and buy all your best players. Even teams like finalists Borrussia Dortmund can’t stop it. What makes the Premier League so interesting is there are alwys more than two or three teams thet can challenge for the league winner, even with the artificially boosted teams like Chelski and Abu Dhabi Citeh.

  73. Canadian Gooner says:

Rico – I could see Arsenal making an enquiry about Mata, but if Chelski aren’t amenable to selling him, I don’t see Arsenal offering them enough money to force the issue. This inquiry/rumour could also be used to gauge Mata’s interest.

  74. Canadian Gooner says:

Brendan Rodgers says “Suarez owes the Liverpool fans”. Is this a plea to appeal to Suarez’s sense of justice and morality to convince him to stay or the beginning of his villification so they can justify his sale?

  75. W.A.T.H says:

CG, It’s just another one to add to the list of excuses and comments to show LFC trying all they can to keep Suarez and that it’s not their choice that he eventually gets sold but in fact it will be as they know they want it done ASAP to replace him..!

  76. Canadian Gooner says:

W.A.T.H – If they know they will sell him, the sooner they get it done, the sooner they can find a replacement. They have recently been linked with a deal for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata. Is this so they can have Suarez’s replacement in hand before his sale?

  77. Adam says:

It was a subtle play on words. 🙂
Ben Arfa is a good player but very, very injury prone. Perfect in fact. 🙂

  78. Canadian Gooner says:

Well despite my best intentions, it’s been another late late night. Have a good day fellow Gooners.

    Keep the Faith!

  79. rico says:

Sure am Adam, quite a ‘stunningly good’ performance. To use a phrase a friend uses…. 😉

    Night Cg..

  80. W.A.T.H says:

    Rico that’s terrible……………………

How can you say such a nasty thing about Diaby….? Shameful lol piss funny though 😀

  81. W.A.T.H says:

Seems Barca may be looking for a new Manager…? whispers that Tito leaving..! Presser 8:30 2nite

  82. stevepalmer1 says:

Evening all, Chill Rico, You’r stating to sound desperate for a signing, not a lot going to happen while the boys are on tour. I have resigned myself that it will be quiet till the boys are home. Deals have been done and our new members are having a nice rest before the season starts. Wenger is using this tour to see how good our youngsters are before he promotes them or moves them on. No point in taking new players to play alongside new youngsters no point at all. In fact the press don’t know what to write about so they find something. Players will be coming perhaps in a couple of weeks. If he is going to spend big these players will be quality and so i have no problem with them not being on tour. Fingers crossed of course

  83. rico says:

That’s not good Wath, has to be something to do with his health 🙁

I am Sp, very desperate 😉

  84. C Hills says:

CG, isn’t FFP basically spend as you earn (SAYE)? Teams like RM, FCB, BM, Manure and tne new AFC will still be miles ahead of others. Unlike England, the revenue field is so tilted in Spain. Sorry my reply is coming late, just finished working.

  85. C Hills says:

rico: Re your question from comments on yesterday’s post yes, it is Nigeria or Naija. What blog were you involved with?

  86. rico says:

Wath said that announcement was due Ts, has he stated why? Really hope and pray its not his health….

  87. tsgh says:

The presser is not on yet but the APs have commented so it must be true…

The sun and rumours site have put 2 and 2 together and gotten CF04 is joining Man U because of someone’s ill health..

  88. C Hills says:

Sorry about the mail, rico. Haven’t opened it since I read your reply the other day. How did you manage to cope on lg?

  89. tsgh says:

I think Mg posts on the scum rumour site under a different moniker… 🙂 The scum version of Mg is in a league of his own… 😛

  90. tsgh says:

    From the utd site…

    18 Jul 2013 22:27:52
Press in espana reporting Barca have reluctantly
agreed to deal on Fabregas with the chosen
club being Man United for 40m euros

    Believable(20) Unbelievable (35)

  91. rico says:

Be funny if AVB went there, I’d laugh my … flip flops off…. 😉

Mg is in the know you know Ts, he’s in Spain and knows everything….

    What a twurp…

  92. tsgh says:

Madalena Siqueira is moving to Everton from Granada CF… possible replacement for L.Baines joining the new Ginger faced man at Old Trafford…

  93. emma says:

Scums are getting scared AVB will be next Barca coach. Rumours circulating that he has being shortlisted along with Luis enrique

  94. C Hills says:

Ginge, 2 and 2 eh? I never should’ve said that the other day. :).
rico, whatever I say in an email to you isn’t going to stop you from this merger, is it?

  95. tsgh says:

    🙂 CH… very true

Luis Enrique is doing a decent job at CV…I suspect they may go for Klopp or Simeone

  96. C Hills says:

Evening rico, I asked if an email from me would make you feel @ ease before I saw you had left for dinner.

  97. tsgh says:

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has withdrawn his transfer request and signed a new contract until 2017.

These footballers are attention seeking to the max… lol

  98. rico says:

Bloomin heck ts, that’s a shocker. Bet AVB is gutted 😉 Maybe they will try and sign Higuain now…

  99. tsgh says:

He shot himself in the foot especailly after just one season… the backlash was too much. I suspect if he has another decent season and a good WC he will be off…

The swampies are now down to option D.. Crouch and Odewinge and the likes… 🙂

  100. Bradster says:

Is the 40m clause in Suarez contract a release clause? If so, surely Rogers can’t say he wants 55m nor that he won’t sell.

  101. tsgh says:

Hi Brad… its not a release clause… its a ’round the table’ clause. The jist of it is that if a bid of that amount is received then the club have to inform Suarez and the dippers have to negotiate with the bidding club. At least that is what talksports radio explained…

  102. rico says:

    🙂 Ts..

His agent says there is a £40 million get out clause, he must know surely. If he is right, then Rodgers is talking bollards….

  103. tsgh says:

I hope the release clause is £40M… from what I read from the mirror, there appears to be a clause but not a buy out clause in explicit terms as Cavani’s…

The newspaper claims Liverpool interpret the stipulation as that they “must consider” offers of £40 million or more, whereas Suarez’s agent, Pere Guardiola, believes such an offer “would effectively trigger his release”.

  104. Bradster says:

that’s a weird clause ts. So they can ask any price and say we listened to their offer but it wasn’t what we value him at. What’s the use of the clause then?

  105. rico says:

I hope Pere Guardiola has it right….

As Wath said earlier though, why try and keep a really unhappy player.

AW could have done that with the old badger last summer but we would have ended up with a sulker for a year then lose him on a freebie….

  106. rico says:

    Suarez, Bernard, Gustavo and Mata…

Well, if all the paps talk is right, we’ll all be happy and Kev will be a fiver down 😉

  107. tsgh says:

Suarez was a gamble when he was bought and if you remember his first full season was ok… 16 goals from 37 starts… 3 of those goals were in the FA cup…

  108. Adam says:

Seems like the only people not mouthing off about Suarez are Arsenal, who have remained schtum throughout. Rogers seems completely flummoxed by the whole thing.

  109. rico says:

But most overseas players are like that Ts, not many walk into the PL and blow it away, even TH and DB struggled for a while 😉

That’s because we are a class above the dippers Adam 😉

  110. Adam says:

True Rico. I can’t understand what the £40 million represents. If it isn’t a release clause and only the point that talks would start then that seems pretty weird.
On that point I wish you all a fine evening. Nighty..

  111. tsgh says:

Its the difference in Class Adam 🙂

Rico I was referring to his 2nd season i.e first full season as he joined the January before…

  112. rico says:

    Night Adam…

Still wasn’t too bad Ts, better than Giroud’s first and nearly as good as TW last season 😉

  113. tsgh says:

The swampies are struggling to beat Colchester with Bale in the squad… there is no Paulinho is what they will say to themselves… lol

    Night Adam

  114. rico says:

I’m off for the day now, have a good evening all..

Night Ts, Ch, Bradster and anyone else reading…

  115. tsgh says:

A few u-21 matches will be played at the Erms next season WBA and Wolves confirmed… possibly Man U too

  116. W.A.T.H says:

So caughtoffside says we gonna bid 8mil for Gustavo.. That will excite Ts….! maybe they got it wrong and its Alaba we gonna bid for…!

  117. allezkev says:

Flamengo the biggest team in Brazil?!!!
Well I thought that the biggest club in Brazil was Flumemese and didn’t Pele play for Santos?
Who gives a shit anyway and why all the fuss you knob heads???

  118. allezkev says:

    Morning Gooners/AKB’s/Doomers/Knobheads/and Mick…

Why do some ppl get so worked up over feck all?
Reading yesterday mornings comments just make ya want to give up.
As usual, those dimwits who never have the guts to write a post are the first on here criticising.
Well write a post and put your opinions up for discussion you fecking tossers.
Either that or sling your hook onto another blog.
Jeez, some bloggers make ya despair…

    Morning Rkco, btw… 😉

  119. allezkev says:

Morning Agag, you got those Jimmy Choo hobnailed boots yet?

They’re all the rage. Adam has a pair to go with his red spandex trousers.

I have a pair for work.

And Wath has a pair for when he is grumpy, which is all the time. 😉

  120. potter says:

Wow ! Kev , what did I miss with the internet down and mobile signals all over the place. Reckon it’s the unseasonal heat wearing people down. I like it though.

  121. Adam says:

    Morning Rico and all.
Was that a late night or an early morning Kev? 🙂
I find spandex quite restricting in the heat myself.

  122. tsgh says:

    Morning Rico and all HHers’

Reina is set to join Napoli on loan according to reports…

And Ak, going all Yeezus on the twerpy broggers… 🙂

    Another day on HH… 😉

  123. tsgh says:

No one really wants Cesar…he made some serious howlers…;)

Like Matt Poom, Rob Green and all other goalies, they raise their game against us…

  124. tsgh says:

Its finally confirmed by the official website.

”Arsenal Football Club can confirm that Brazilian left back Andre Santos has joined Flamengo in a permanent deal.”
